I want to show you my recent theory so far. It's mostly things I read at Werner's place, Vasiley's mails, Fayolah's responses, Carvier's diary and the library. And also I added my personal tinfoil to make everything make sense...yeah it's not scientific. But seeing that almost all of the clues I have are supernatural I think it's fair.
Transcript of the first and second page:
Eckhardt is an alchemist who pretended to be dead until 1345
For some reason he communicated to Nephilim who task him to create suitanble humans as hosts for them and thus let him live 100 years longer
Eckhardt is almost invincible at this point and tries to produce super humans in the sewers
The Lux Veritatis supposedly murder him in 1445 meaning either this is untrue and he is the onstrum or Eckhardt is NOT the monstrum which raises the question who tf it is. Alternatively. the LV could have just hurt him and kept him at castle Bouzor since it was in their belonging from 1939 to 1945 anyway. If they didn't manage to kill him
He is still alive, and still trying to rebreed the Nephilim race which means
he is alive AND immortal.
In Fayolah's mail she attached to images, I described them earlier. The symbol Vasiley uses is the LV one, he either likes it a lot or has ties with them. This knife like thing has two identical copies, so it's likely three knives, and if the LV hurt Eckhardt, an almost invincible alchemist, they'd have to use something really powerful. I'll shoot her an email, again, she might be able to help me one more time.
Transcript of the third and fourth page:
So, this is a reach. I found an artifact called the Sanglyph and it was apparently used by Eckhardt and it has a story I can tie in. So, he made this...disc(?) like thing and it consists of five different elements. The symbols in the circles are the symbols of the elements alchemists used. My suspicion is, if the Sanglyph is tied to all of this, which it likely is since Eckhardt is referenced to creating it it could be used with five elements. Since one could transmutate elements from human bodies, the victims of the monstrum would serve a purpose: to active the Sanglyph. But I still don't know what its use was, how and why Eckhardt made it in the first place and whether it contains five elements, is made our of five elements, or Eckhardt used the German word "Elemente" as literally "Parts". So maybe it is made out of five parts. Where are they?

After losing a bit of faith and thinking I'm falling into insanity which I might be doing, but if not I need to continue, I made a plan. I wrote a mail to Fayolah asking for student access to her online library, which might give me more hints. And I'm visiting Carvier's district. On my way there I heard police sirens and for a second I thought it was about me- but no, it was another murder I think. I printed a ticket out to not leave any traces behind. Also, I've heard of a shady drug dealing part in Paris pretty close to Carvier's place, a few streets away. There's supposedly a drug mafia and I could offer them money for information (is that how it works?). I maybe will get shot or I will survive asking drug dealers about things I shouldn't be asking about, but this won't stop me. I've dug so deep I might as well come out of the other side.
Transcript of the seventh page:
This is a map of a part of Paris. I traced the actual map and wrote down points of interest and the street names. It's not much happening but maybe someone knows something. There are six places I want to look more into: the pawn shop, the club (which is clsoed I think), the Café Metro, a church that is a boxing club today,a herbalist (only selling legal stuff?) and a park.
I'll check each place and get back to here and compare the information I'll gather if I find any. I have a lot of things to do today and I need to get it done. I'm almost at the metro station at Rue de Rennescal, I'll start from the pawn shop.

"Knock, knock."
Thena stood from the dressing room chair, flying over to him and into his arms. "Hey."
"Hey," he greeted back just as softly, holding her in his embrace as she sagged against him. She was always exhausted after these shows, and he was very familiar with how it would soak in physically before full realisation hit. "You were amazing."
Thena leaned up to kiss him, purring against him in contentment. "I'm glad you could come."
"Of course!" he laughed as she parted from him just enough to finish brushing her hair. "If I didn't have to pay, I'd be here every night!"
Thena shook her head at him, rolling her eyes in the mirror. "I told Sersi to go on without me."
"Late dinner date?" he suggested as he came over to her again, holding up her coat to slip into. Her arms settled into the sleeves like wings unfurling--so elegant, his Swan. "Or do you wanna just get takeout and go home?"
"Home," she sighed again, turning and burying herself against him again.
He let her, happily taking his time with his cuddly girlfriend. She was really feeling fatigued if she was being all cute and clingy.
"Thee!"
Gil and Thena both sighed at the voice calling and the name it was blaring through the backstage. He looked down at the top of her head, "what do they want?"
"Probably just to harass you," Thena grumbled, just barely pulling her face out of his chest before the door was slammed open.
The usual flock filtered into the room they had already finished leaving a mere half hour before. Lara spearheaded them, as always. "I knew you were dragging your feet."
Thena glared at the much taller woman, holding onto the lapel of Gil's jacket. "I didn't think it was a secret I would be picked up. I hardly asked you to wait for me."
"But it's the cast party, Thee," Lara pursed her lips at her in a unique mix of condescension and disdain. "Everyone's going."
"I'll pass."
"Don't your little ugly ducklings want to meet your handsome boyfriend?" another one giggled from the edge of the room.
Thena bristled, "my goslings are quite lovely little cygnets, it seems. The crowd seemed far more engaged with their piece than ours."
Gil couldn't help but smile; Thena's pride and joy was in the classes she taught. She had no problem denouncing herself and her colleagues if it was in the defense of her little goslings.
Lara rolled her eyes, "kids have it easy."
Gil gripped Thena's hand, hoping to make an escape before he found himself in the middle of another conflict, "sorry, but we were just-"
"You can come too, y'know!"
"It's true," Lara added, leaning a little closer to him (until Thena yanked him back to her side). "Partners are welcome, and I'm sure the girls would just eat you right up."
All the better reason not to go. Gil traded a look with Thena before looking up at the ring leader of the group. He tugged at his already partially undone tie. "You'll have to break the news to them that I'm taken."
Lara - making no progress with Gil - looked at Thena again. "You've got him well trained, huh? What are you feeding him, Thee?"
"Enough."
All the ladies in the room looked at Gil as he dropped some of the usual warmth and charisma he naturally carried. He put his hands in his pockets but looked at Lara head on, Thena still holding his arm beside him.
"Look, I don't care what politics you have going on here," he frowned, somewhat eyeing the passive but complacent posse around them. "But I don't take kindly to people who have a problem with the woman I love."
All ladies in the room practically gasped.
"If she says we're not interested, that's that," Gil continued, moving an arm but only to wrap it around Thena and squeeze her hip. "And I'm not interested in humouring you or anyone else who thinks it's funny to imply I'm not in a happy, committed relationship."
Lara actually took a step back as Gil started leading him and Thena out of the room, past their group of assailants.
"Maybe the partners you have don't know what loyalty really means, but I do." He held Thena on the far side of him, grasping the door to pull it closed behind him with one final glare. "I'm where I belong: with Thena. And I don't wanna hear another word about it."
Thena stared at him in somewhat of a stupor as he pulled the door closed and started walking out with her.
Only once outside the backstage door did he let out an anxious breath. She giggled as he tugged his tie all the way off and fanned his shirt a little. "God, that woman has a mean mug."
"She's not particularly pleasant," Thena agreed as her poor, sweet - non-confrontational - boyfriend gathered himself.
He looked at her with a frown, "is she gonna give you an even harder time next time you see her 'cause of that?"
Thena shook her head, slipping her hand into his again and kissing his cheek. "I won't know until I see her again, and that shouldn't be for quite some time, now."
Gil led her away from the door, looking back a few times to make sure a hoard of angry swans wasn't going to follow them to his car.
"I love you, too."
Gil's head whipped around to look at her. The parking lot lights had a yellow glow to them, and even though there wasn't snow falling into her hair, she was still as breathtaking as she always had been. Her cheeks had a soft pink to them as she squeezed his hand.
Thena let him tilt her head up to kiss her. He nuzzled the tips of their noses together, making her giggle again.
He moved his hand from her cheek to her hair, brushing his fingers through it and moving it over her shoulder in one - hopefully - smooth move. "I imagined that going differently."
"What?"
"Telling you," he blushed this time, "for the first time...y'know."
Thena tugged at his sleeve to hurry their pace along, "you can keep telling me. I'll be quite happy to hear it."
Gil followed her beckoning blissfully, thinking about all the opportunities to shower her with just how much he loved her from now on.

Wait, about Tomb Raider, did the developers actually get rid of Sam because of the fact people shipped her with Lara?? I was wondering why she never popped up again after the first game. If so, that's actually stupidly petty and fucked up
I don’t believe has ever been confirmed, which I mean why would they, but if you were in the fandom at the time you would have came to the same conclusion. Tomb Raider got spread around a LOT in f/f circles even though Sam and Lara weren’t canon and it was a pretty big talking point about the game over all.
Yet despite the ship’s popularity Sam vanished completely without a trace. It took years for anyone to get a reason and it was only in the comics (it was also really badly written in my opinion)
There has been a lot of rumors that they planned on Sam and Lara either becoming a couple or being a couple already and were forced to back out at the last second but the company (the people the actually own Tomb Raider I believe) got scared when lesbians picked up on the vibes anyway and blew the game up, thus they removed Sam completely.
Sadly that kind of thing isn’t uncommon, there have been cartoons canceled over being more popular with girls than boys when the network thought of the show as a ‘boys show’. They probably didn’t want Tomb Raider to be ‘lesbian’ game or whatever the fuck.
Honestly the decision to take Sam out soured me to second one enough that I waited forever to buy it and I never really got into it again. A shame since the first one is a great game to play even now.
