Five young men with a similar style but each totally unique. From this idea of the group is born that of individuality, one of the primary inspirations behind this autumn 2014 pre-collection. Arranged behind them are tables, libraries and light installations created by the French duo M/M. “I see them as artists or students in art school, they make me think of young guys I used to hang around with at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp,” explains Kris Van Assche, creative director of the House’s men’s lines. The classics from the Dior man’s wardrobe

are present: dark suits with a lean cut, but rethought to dress a sharp, modern silhouette. A duffle coat stands out in striking red, the graphic lines printed on shirts blur the ABCs of menswear, leather inserts are placed here and there to give garments a new geometry, and a suit jacket boasts a sportswear hood. Between timeless elegance and a new kind of casual, the Dior Homme style is natural, simultaneously architectural and contemporary, in which each man can find his inspiration to assert his personality.
