I FIGURED OUT A WAY TO FUCKING MAKE THE IMAGE SMALLER FOR POSTING ON TUMBLR WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE ACTUAL QUALITY OF THE IMAGE OH MY GOD

Ok so, what I did is go into the clip studio paint file, make a new file, copy and paste the group in the original file, merge everything, get rid of the extra stuff outside of the canvas, and then make the flattened image smaller and crop the canvas. Once you have that, export it and you're done. This helps maintain the actual quality of the image and also helps shrink the file size down to something actually postable (if anyone has a better way of doing this please tell me)

[Edit]: Ok I guess posting something to Tumblr just naturally compresses the image a bit more somehow because I'm looking at it now and zooming in too much makes it a bit blurry so I'm still gonna have to futz around with image quality for future pieces oof

I'm so glad I figured out a way to do this because I like working on a big canvas so I can get as much detail in as I possibly can. Only problems are how laggy it gets while drawing lol.

I had an idea for a drawing with Reimu and Zanmu because I really like thinking about their potential dynamic a lot. I also wanted an excuse to draw Zanmu again but in my normal rendering style because last time I drew her she was in my more sketchy style with generally flat colours so I wanted to draw her again. Speaking of, looking at the sketch for this is a jumpscare that I never enjoy seeing, like, man am I glad I didn't use those for my final piece.

Also about her spear. I was originally gonna make it like the ones she had in game, but it kinda threw off the whole piece. It was too big, too blue, and too flat, so I just went "fuck it" and gave her a different one instead. My headcanon justifying this is that the ones she uses in game are for danmaku battles whereas in any other fight she just uses a proper yari, or she still uses the yari and just makes it all glowy to power it up, maybe both lol. I pulled as much inspiration as I could from Sengoku era spears, and even put in some blue into the decorative part of the spear and also added a little skull to pay tribute to the original spear. Also, in my research I saw some art of izanami and izanagi making japan and saw that the yari izanagi has had a little decorative tassley thingy on it so I took some inspo from that and just made it one of Zanmu's tassles (Idk when that art was from or if the spear was still accurate to Sengoku period Japan but hey, probably the same reasons Eirin puts little bow ties on her arrows, it's just for personalization purposes).

I love rendering hair and clothes so much omg, while I like the super curly hair Zanmu, the longer, wavier hair suits her better for this drawing (I imagine it only does that like how Ghibli characters hair moves when they feel angry lol). I love making Zanmu's hair all messy and crazy, as well as giving her grey hairs, this woman has aged like a fine wine. Also, if the hem on the ends of her sleeves, top of her shirt, and her pants look like gold to you, that's because it is! It's fairly light so she's not collapsing under the weight, but it's gold! (I don't care how impractical it is, it's just cool). Not the undershirt though, it's made of a gold fabric. I had a cute idea with Reimu's hair to make it have a red shine to it. I also changed up Reimu's outfit so it isn't just a blob of red. I like it a lot when Reimu's skirt and outfit is segmented into different layers, so I wanted to incorporate that.

I tried to draw their hands differently as well, but IDK how noticeable that is. Also, I am super happy with how the side profiles for the two of them turned out, I used to struggle a lot with how to make the side profile of a character actually look like the character, so I'm really happy that they actually look like themselves.

Also added in the tree and rocks in the background as an homage to Zanmu's character art in Touhou 19, just because I was getting kinda stumped on what to do with the background lol.

In terms of a story idea with Reimu and Zanmu, idk why but the potential plotline of Zanmu wanting to ascend to godhood is so fascinating to me. Like, it is very possible that if she just convinced everyone she was a god (which would be very easy for her to do), she would become one in a heartbeat. Also, if she were to become a god, with her ability to return stuff to nothing, could she hypothetically get similar abilities to (Jojo Part 5 spoiler btw) GER? Like, idk about the death timeloop stuff, but the concept has been haunting me every night as I have been trying to find loopholes in GER's ability for a while now ( for no reason in particular). Back to the main topic, I imagine that she would probably tell Reimu that if she were to become a god she would take over the Hakurei shrine since the god there might as well be dead, and Reimu just says to her, "Over my dead body bitch." Like, I have no idea how to summarize their dynamic but like, it's the type of hero-villain dynamic where the phrase "We're not so different, you and I" would definitely be a phrase said during a fight. I think that if another IN style game were to release, Reimu and Zanmu would be in a team together. They could also have an interesting mentor and pupil kind of dynamic. Can you tell that Zanmu has been charging my mind rent these part few months? Like, instead of living in my head rent free, she kinda just uno reversed the whole situation and now she's the one charging me rent. What happens if I get evicted from my own brain? Actually, scratch that, I don't think I wanna know.

OKAY everything that comes to mind in no particular order (and under a cut for spoilers)

the whole thing with Bode was so heartbreaking 😭 I saw the betrayal coming when he started acting weird, but I did not expect him to be a Jedi, and I definitely let out a gasp when he used the force against Cal

I understand what they were going for with him, but I'm not sure I was a fan of it. I think he genuinely cared about Cal, and the fact that he didn't even pause for a second in the end, even when his actions were actively putting Kata at risk... like yeah, I get that was the point but I just kinda wish he had a moment of clarity or something.

I have to say though, Kata putting her doll on his burning body was the saddest damn thing I ever saw. I also loved her lullaby (but that ending was unsatisfying I'm sorry)

okay, moving on from all that mess, fuck. the. force tears. seriously. ESPECIALLY the parkour ones. fuck them! there was no reason to make them so difficult 😭 I've finished the main storyline and all of the planets besides Jedha, so I'm dreading what more force tears I'll have to deal with because some of the ones on Koboh were already kicking my ass. I mean I finished them all in the end, but holy hell, the one with all the ziplines made me turn off the game without saving

I can't believe they didn't let BD jump into chests anymore!! outrageous

okay, enough negatives, I DID like this game. the semi open-world was nice, I'm glad they didn't go full open-world with this but having a little space to explore Koboh freely was definitely fun

the outfits. no notes, 10/10. Cal Kestis, fashion king (right after Cassian of course) I loved designing different outfits for every planet, and then matching BD to it <3

so I mentioned previously that I didn't really connect to Greez in Fallen Order (no hate, I was just kinda neutral) but I actually really liked him in this one! idk what changed, if it was just a growing fondness after spending more time with him or what, but I'm glad I was able to appreciate him more

I also loved Merrical. that first kiss moment was really nice <3

Cameron Monaghan is honestly so incredible in this role. couldn't have asked for a better Cal.

live slug reaction. gay. incredible.

when Cal embraces his dark side, and the level up menu goes all red instead of blue.... oof. that did hit me a bit, it was a nice touch.

the fact that Cere was so close to beating Vader 😭😭 that whole fight was so great, and lmao at him being set on fire again afdsgfdsgf

I love that they gave us so many different lightsaber stances and even a blaster! I mean I locked down on my favorite at the beginning and didn't use anything else lmao, but still, I love having the choice

- However, Satan much prefers now. He's really gotten to know the person you are and just you being you, seeing you smile even, that's more than enough for him

Asmodeus

- Oh boy, enter the drama queen

- Definitely would be ranting that he's so pretty, and sweet, and that he has so much love to go around that he doesn't understand why you'd not like him in the first place

- News flash Asmo, a lot of humans are turned off by an ego the size of Jupiter

- If he had to pick that scenario and now, definitely now. You're the only person that saw through to him and never caved into his charms (thank you Lilith!)

- Honestly, because his powers didn't work on you it really drove him to get to know you for you and vice versa. However, please help him calm down... I don't think anyone wants to suffer through Asmo's wrath

Beelzebub

- As much as it hurt the sweet teddy bear of a demon, he completely understands

- Anyone would be absolutely intimidated beyond belief if they got a good look at this guy

- If it's not for his appearance, it's DEFINITELY his appetite or his strength

- But even if that were to come true, all he would want for you is to be happy and to be well-fed because hunger is a pain he never wants anyone to go through

- Thinking about it though, he's definitely glad that Diavolo brought you here. If you do need some consolation, he's happy to lend an ear and help you smile

Belphegor (this got really angsty)

- He REALLY gets it

- After all, you two didn't have the greatest first introduction

- He lied to you, deceived you, and then the cherry on top, blinded by his grief and anger with his sister's death, you nearly died at his hands

- If given the chance, he really wishes he could go back in time and change his actions. However, Barbatos did say that changing the past can have severe consequences on the present but at least you're alive in the present and you're well

- After all, you are the reason why he was able to let go of his grief when it came to Lilith. Not sure if you know it but you pushed him to change for the better and for him to let go of his grudge towards humans

Since I think he's such a great villain anyway, what do you think of Andrias so far?

Well my apologies this showed up in my inbox a few days ago before Yunan and Olivia and I started answering it but then I paused and I'm actually glad I did since this episode and then Froggy Little Christmas gave me some more to think about with him! So sorry for the delay on this. Long post incoming!

Honestly, I think King Andrias is my most favorite villain in a Disney TVA show and hell, maybe even more so than in any Disney film too. This guy has got such a great balance going on of being hilarious and fun to watch but also frightening and powerful enough to be a legitimate threat. Andrias is like all the things I love about Bill Cipher, Lord Dominator, Toffee, and The Beast, all rolled into one giant evil newt king.

Part of what I think makes Andrias so good too is the way the writing with the slow but eventual reveal to the audience alone that he's not to be trusted. From his very first "appearance" where we hear his voice overlooking Anne and Marcy and then a strategic move of a chessboard piece, saying how it's time for the game to begin. Oof, legit chills. We didn't even see his face at all and yet that still told us to be on guard with him. That *something* is not right with this guy. Yet without giving too much away.

(Massive props to Keith David, man's voice is liquid gold. Incredible skill of balancing the hilarious and likable, the dad humor and fun guy side as well as methodical and dangerous side. Literally I can't think of anyone else who could carry this role the way Keith David does.)

Then the next time, the first time we officially see his face, he's SO over the top helpful and friendly and hilarious that at least speaking personally I couldn't help but immediately love him. Yet that previous hearing him speaking vaguely was more than enough to keep me on guard.

Again I think part of the greatness of him is WE know something is coming yet to the characters they don't and have no reason to suspect to. As Anne said, we were too busy fighting to see what was right in front of us. Cause yeah maybe without everything else keeping them distracted, the overly friendly attitude and all might have started to be suspicious. But other things were happening and they needed all the help they could get. Andrias didn't turn his back when no one was looking and maniacally rub his hands and monolog his evil intentions thinking no one would hear it, we saw the moments none of our characters saw. They weren't idiots who missed giant red flags because they were too blind to them. They were legitimately manipulated by someone they thought was a friend.

Twist villains can be tricky. People tend to either spot them a mile away or they come so far out of left field that the story bends over backwards trying to justify it. Rarely does one stick the landing. I feel Amphibia handled this really well. Cause I feel like if Andrias had only presented as "funny helpful newt king," we would have all figured him for a villain long before True Colors aired. So in clueing us in right away yet doing so in a way that doesn't make our main characters look like idiots, I think it helps make him more interesting and pull off being a twist villain without the usual twist villain pitfalls. Andrias was never meant to trick the audience. He was meant to trick Anne and Co.

And it worked.

Even after his true colors are shown though, Andrias remains fun to watch and interesting to know more about. We still know so little of him and he's still so funny. Yet now after True Colors he's also so despicable. This is another thing I think makes Andrias such a great villain where many others fail. I WANT TO SEE HIM FAIL. I feel legitimately motivated because of what he's done. Thus desire for our heroes to defeat him. SO often the villain is kinda just there to be defeated but it doesn't carry that same weight. For this guy though I'm legitimately invested in his downfall. I don't know how it will happen but I believe it will and I'm READY FOR IT.

Andrias is such a great fleshed out villain. From his voice to his design to his writing, everything about him is great. He's hilarious, manipulative, dangerous, fun, mysterious, and can still go in multiple directions. Will he get a redemption arc? Will he overthrow his master to try to be the big man in charge after all? Will he sacrifice himself for the girl who legitimately cracked his shell despite his intentions? Will he betray his master yet remain an enemy to our heroes or become an uneasy ally? Who knows. Time will tell how it plays out but good lord I'm nervous and ready.

I want to see more him and his hilarious shticks.

I want to know more about him and why he's like this. Like does he regret his actions? Why did he become the servant to his lord?

I want to see what else he can do in terms of his power and dangerous side.

I want to see what's next in all his methods and madness.

And I want his flipping head on a platter for what he's done.

My chapter 10 FeELiNgS 💔👗👠

Alright. Well, I didn't expect that moment from chapter 7 with Tadashi to be made public but I like how it was played in Scholar's favor instead of an inconvenience, now Scholar is getting used as a MaRkEtiNg StRaTeGy for the school. This moment is probably really hype for Tadashi stans 😂 like wow, now everyone knows about our crush on eachother 😥😥 oh noooo... that's terribleee /s 😩😔😔

Welp, I think that making Scholar one of the judges for FAXION was a really smart move writing wise, since a lot of Scholars aren't from the fashion department. Personally, all of my Scholars on my 3 accounts wouldn't give a shit about FAXION 😅 so it's cool how the MC is given a reason to care.

Now about the drama... Well... oof. Karolina's outburst was really hard to go through (which means that the writers achieved their goal: make us feel sad and angry. Congrats!👏👏) But yeah, I'm glad that at least Neha was being more understanding and Tadashi outright defended Scholar.

Later on I was so scared to be a bother that I decided to not bring them any snacks and missed out on the illustration 😂

Also Tiffany? LoUiSe VuItToN? Fuck them tbh. Tiffany's comment about Karolina "gaining calories" which made her starve herself later on? And Vuitton revealing that Neha is a scholarship student on TELEVISION even though she clearly didn't want to share that?? Isn't it like, illegal? I'm guessing that it was so well kept because Neha asked Lady A to NOT make it go public. Not to mention that Neha is still a minor. Revealing that was really cruel AND Vuitton is supposed to be one of the judges, like?? The frick. I get that she's the strict judge™ I mean, every single talent show has one but still... she probably did that so Neha and Karolina will go throughsome conflict and rise above it all then become StRoNgEr or something 😒

Another big reveal was that Neha has a crush on Karolina which was actually really sweet! (*gasp* they were roommates?! ... okay sorry I had to make that joke 😂) on a more serious note, I found her feelings to be very genuine but also I kinda feel bad for the Neha stans 😅 Well I'm guessing she's going to turn around and like Scholar instead soon enough. (On a side note, Neha cried so much in this chapter! Like holy crap.)

Afterwards, I liked how Neha's and Karolina's fight was written. They're trying really hard not to fall apart but it's just not. Working. Love Neha's comments such as "Oh so Tadashi is allowed to be a scholarship student but suddenly I'm not good enough to be one?" And how she says that Karolina's motivation is misplaced and she should win the competition for herself, not for a boy. (I agree!) And how Neha flipped when Karolina said "I will win the competition." Not "we will win" as she usually says. While Karolina's problem is that she feels betrayed and lied to, the fact that Tadashi and Alistair knew about Neha's Scholarship but not her...

Later on, I loved how attentive Scholar was when she discovers that Karolina has a eating disorder and contacts Claire. Then Tegan overhears and he's so worried... oooh boy.

It's funny how this whole chapter was supposed to be that FAXION thing but as we go through those 5 days in-game it seems like the results matter less and less. Karolina and Neha's relationship is in shambles. Neha is a scholarship student and has a crush on Karol. Karolina has an eating disorder and decides to confess her feelings to Tadashi after she wins... oh and, Tadashi knew about it lol. That's legit the thing that truly caught me off-guard because so far Tadashi has been as dense as a brick 😂

Anyway, what I meant to say is that neither the characters nor the readers really give a shit about who wins the competition anymore which is in a way, really funny. I'm guessing that the winners were Karolina and Neha, right? Making Karolina faint right at the moment where she was supposed to win, now THAT'S what I call

Yeah well, now the question is: will they keep their win or not? Or will the judges choose another team because Karolina fainting in the middle of the results is probably gonna gather more drama from the audience and look really bad for the fashion industry. Showing how it pushes young girls to be underweight and raises the odds of them developing eating disorders later on. (Really cool of the team to give us the opportunity to skip the more graphic scenes, well I didn't because I love suffering but thanks for asking first!)

And that's about all I wanted to say about the chapter (story wise?). Now to the more technical stuff: the website kept giving me an error message. I guess because a lot of people were playing at the same time? A thing that definitely surprised me is that there was very few options in the chapter and I didn't even notice until the chapter summary pop-up at the end showing me that I only raised my affinity with Neha. Personally it didn't bother me, this chapter was really story-driven. Not really the best moment to flirt I guess? 😂 Oh and apparently there was supposed to be a jealousy scene? But I didn't get any on my Claire account, maybe it's only for certain characters? And oh boy when Andy showed up at the end as our make-up artist? Thank GOD. It really cheered me up ngl.

It's amazing how each chapter really gives off a different feel, we have chill chapters like chapters 1, 2, 3, 6 and 9 and then PLOT hitting you in the face in chapters 4,5,7,8 and 10. It's like each chapter is a whole different game! (And I mean that in a really good way!) Honestly, if I played chapter 9 and 10 back to back I think I would get whiplash 😂 (Hopefully I'm using that word correctly...?)

(Y/N) catches Fujimi's attention because of her attitude, and they end up talking after the survival training.

I could find only 2 fujimi stories and idk he's cute af so here some.

Yuei had invited 4 students from Isamu High School, to participate in a survival training in teams. And even if 3 of them looked quite friendly, 1 was just like Katsuki ; he didn't bother to seem polite when he introduced himself, and kept looking down at the students from Yuei -who were greeting him. 'What an asshole !' The students thought.

But not (Y/N), no, she didn't really care. Actually, she was very good at befriending unfriendly people. Indeed, Hitoshi, Neito, Katsuki, Shoto and Fumikage were her friends. So it wasn't one edgy boy that was going to scare her or anything.

She actually caught his attention ; when Katsuki started to yell at him, she was giggling, while telling him to stop -well, Fujimi thought that it was only to seem friendly, since the giggles seemed more sincere than the 'stop' she was saying. He didn't think much about her ; but she was, at least, one of the students he noticed and remembered after.

The students went to their locker room to change. Once they went out, (Y/N) noticed Katsuki, still fighting with this guy from Isamu. ''Oi, Katsuki ! Brush it off !'' She said. He turned to her. ''Not today, (Y/N) ! I'm busy, already !'' She chuckled. ''I can see that, today I'm greeted by my name.'' Katsuki rolled his eyes, but kept focusing on Fujimi. (Y/N) just went to talk to Fumikage.

''You should be careful with your girlfriend, too ! Looks like she's getting stolen by a bird !'' Fujimi said. Katsuki groaned. ''She's not even my girlfriend, corpse boy !'' And they kept fighting about which school was better, until it was time to start the training.

(Y/N) decided to go and spy on the Isamu students. However, Sekigai noticed her with her quirk. ''I see one girl, running towards us. There is the boy Fujimi doesn't like a bit behind her, but they don't seem to attack each other even if they're not in the same team.'' Fujimi looked at the screen. ''I want to see what's her quirk. She seems so confident, she must've something cool.'' Sekigai raised an eyebrow. ''What do we do with the boy you don't like then ?'' And Fujimi just told Tadan to throw his missile.

After that, the training ended up with everyone being turned into zombies. When they all came back to normal, the students got touched my Izuku's smash, and they fell. Fortunately for (Y/N), she fell on Koda's tummy. ''Awn, sorry Koda ! But thanks for being here, I guess ?'' He nodded, rubbing his tummy. (Y/N) helped him to stand up, feeling bad she must've hurt him more.

''So who won ?!'' Katsuki yelled. ''Nobody, Katsuki ! We all turned into fucking zombies.'' The girl answered, wiping the dirt off her clothes. Fujimi felt a bit bad about it, so he tried to walk away without getting caught.

''SAY SORRY !'' Momo, Tenya, Sekigai and Mongoose ordered. But both Katsuki and Fujimi stayed silent. (Y/N), hearing people yelling, ran to see what was going on. ''Tenya, Momo, brush it off, it's just a game !'' She said, quite irritated that nothing important was happening. ''WHAT ?! (L/N), Bakugou got disrespectful and kept doing it after we-'' but the girl cut him off. ''After we got turned into zombies, wow, big deal. Y'all don't relax enough.'' Yeah, maybe that's how she was able to be friends with unfriendly people.

She started to walk away, Katsuki grinning. However, Fujimi joined her. ''Hey ! You really don't care that I turned us into zombies ?'' She raised an eyebrow. ''No, it's just a game. I wanted to at least take over one team, but it's okay.'' Fujimi just stared at her. Usually, people were mad at him and kept blaming him, saying he had a troublesome quirk. ''Talking about the zombie thing...'' he finally began, after seeing the confused look on (Y/N)'s face.

''... I'm sorry about that.'' He said, looking at the ground. ''Why ?'' She asked. ''Well, it's not a pleasant thing to be turned into one.'' She chuckled. ''Yeah, for sure. But we don't remember what happened, so I'm glad nobody remembers the face I must've had.'' The boy smiled at this comment. ''You didn't look that zombie-ish. You actually even managed to still look good.'' She giggled. ''Wow, so I look good ?'' Realizing what he said, Fujimi looked away, blushing slightly.

''I mean...'' But she cut him off. ''Thanks, you look good too. You're cool.'' She said, still walking. The boy followed her -since they were still too close to the others and things were getting embarrassing. ''I thought you were dating the blonde boy at first.'' He admitted. ''Katsuki ? Oof, no. Some weeks later, (Y/N) and the Bakusquad were walking to exit the school. However, Katsuki flinched when he saw Fujimi. ''What is he doing here ?!'' The main addressee was turned, so he couldn't even notice him back. ''Oh, Fujimi ? We're going to the movies, he finished earlier than us so he waited there.'' (Y/N) said. Mina turned, a confused look on her face. Katsuki was horrified.

''Shitty eyes... are you dating him ?!'' She giggled. ''Almost ! I'm working on it !'' She admitted, and that made the boys -except Katsuki- laugh. ''But he looks like a corpse !'' Mina commented, and Katsuki nodded. ''Yeah, and I look like the last time I slept was 2 months ago.'' (Y/N) answered.

Katsuki muttered : ''Shitty eyes.'' at her comment. ''Yeah, we kinda match, I guess.'' She simple answered, before waving at them and going to Fujimi. He smiled when he saw her, and they both directly started to walk towards the nearest cinema. ''Isn't Isamu kinda far away from there ?'' Kaminari asked. Kirishima nodded. ''He must be really happy to go out with her, if he did all the way from Isamu to there alone. I hope he took the bus or something.'' Realizing that, (Y/N)'s classmates changed their mind about the zombie boy and hoped that they would end up dating. Except Katsuki because you know he's Katsuki.
