I'm glad that the second season's first episode had this scene. Not just because it would've explained how Dogi could somehow be in the same prison as their target (since it'll require quite a bit of inside help) but also because it did look pretty convenient with all the timing, and arrangement of his release, as well as the guards' behaviour. Not to mention it was REALLY suspicious that Dogi's number was exactly 5283 and his uniform was a different colour.

Also, it's a good excuse to explain why we won't see Hana in this season.

The production for SBS' drama Taxi Driver season 3 has been confirmed.

On the 16th, one of the broadcasting company's staff said: "SBS with production companies StudioS and Group Eight have just decided to work on Taxi Driver season 3."

Broadcasting and production companies revealed that from the moment 1st episode aired on February 17th, the show garnered lots of popularity so the discussions about season 3 have begun quite early on. However, a more definite plot, filming schedule and other things haven't been decided as of yet.

Lee Jehoon, Kim Euisung, Pyo Yejin, Jang Hyeokjin, Bae Yooram and other lead actors are in positive discussions regarding their appearances in the season 3. During various interviews they have expressed their strong intentions that they "want to keep on continuing the series".

The Taxi Driver series, which started in April of 2021, tell the story of revenge agency business called "Rainbow Transport" that avenges the wronged victims.

Lee Jehoon playing a character who comes from the special forces background, Kim Euisung as company's president, Pyo Yejin who plays a hacker and others present us with fresh action scenes and the feeling of catharsis – watch rating as high as 16% was recorded.

In season 2, Lee Jehoon together with Rainbow Transport gave us an even more remarkable performance and the broadcasting finished on the 15th with watch ratings reaching 21%.

Is taxi driver good so far?

i think so yes it had a very promising first episode and it’s been pretty consistent since also everyone’s pretty morally grey (like they are running a probably illegal business and are in cahoots with a hot loan shark/club owner lmao) and they all have weird vibes especially kim euisung’s character though i’m not sure if that’s because i’ve only seen him play villains...anyways i’m enjoying ljh saying like 4 words per episode and the cases are pretty sad not necessarily the violence aspect but how similar they are to real cases but yh i’m looking forward to seeing how it plays out from here

Taking my time watching Black Knight cos of Esom... and then I got amused seeing Kim Euisung in it... cos of Taxi Driver 2, as well as the fact that Eson couldn't make it to the second season...

But then as I go through episode 2, I end up finding yet another Rainbow Taxi cameo....

Took a while for me to dig this clip out, and I hoped that the writers don't forget about this scene. As much as this clip was never quite properly included in the finale episode.

I mean since Esom couldn't make it for season 2, I had to wonder if this time the show gonna stash aside the prosecution plot or will they have someone else come in to take the helm. Not to mention so far in the first 2 eps we didn't really hear any mention of what is the current situation with the Blue Bird Foundation.

Also I had to wonder if the raid on Rainbow Taxi afterwards was related with Prosecutor Do's attempt to get Mr Jang to move out of the Prosecutors Office since I thought last time former Deputy Jo had taken the bullet for the gang and closed the investigation. And I don't think Hana would reopen the case out of her own volition unless her hand was twisted. (Not to mention it was a whole new different detective who was leading that raid) Half of me hoped that the last scene in ep 16 wasn't being retconned on season 2 and that the timeline they're working rn was in between the disbandment and that closing scene where Hana directly worked with the Rainbow Taxi team. Also because I still have unanswered questions regarding Goeun. Like at the end of Season 1 we saw her working as a patrol officer, yet at the start of Season 2 we saw her working at Information Management instead... and then she resigned. So what gives XD

Hello! Sorry to be so random… I miss Pyo Ye Jin!!! Have you heard anything so far about Naeun’s agency having to pay for the reshoots for Taxi Driver, like how the production company for River Where The Moon Rises is seeking damages from Jisoo’s agency?

Hi! I haven't read or seen any news regarding that so maybe they resolved it in a quiet manner without going public about it (or maybe they didn't even ask for damage fees who knows would explain all the PPL's lol).

There seem to be barely any articles about it other just mentioning the recasting. I'm guessing the issue was much bigger for the rwtmr team as the show was already airing and they were almost done filming and they had to replace one of the lead roles who I'm assuming had a ton of screen time. There surely was also more anger and frustration involved and there was also a constant back and forth between the companies about the damages fees so all that probably gained the issue a lot more media attention. And while Goeun is also a main role they were lucky to some extend I guess since she had a lot of scene on her own which wouldn't require the other actors being present for some of her reshoots so I'm assuming there was quite a difference in how much it cost for each show.

And because I love to praise her, according to Kim Euisung Pyo Yejin's schedule consisted of filming 60 scenes a day which is crazy and yet she delivered such a great performance with a role she took on in such a short notice and with so little preparation. Na Inwoo is also said to have filmed 20-40 scenes a day so really hats off to both actors for their hard work and basically saving the shows.
