AAAAH this scene gives me so many feels! Maybe I'm reaching but there's so much going on here. Killian has just gotten discharged from the hospital and he has to come back to his apartment, prepared for the absence of Alice yet glaring presence of filled in remnants of having stayed together while both cursed, probably swimming in memories and bits of lingering magically induced pain. The way he asks, "Starfish?" as if to confirm that the curse was broken and it wasn't just a dream. How he probably still has her marked on his phone as Tilly and didn't expect to hear from Alice. The look of disbelief and recognition as she answers. I don't know if it's intentional or coincidence that Alice replies, "Yes, papa, it's me," because it parallels all too well with their initial reunion moment, where he thought she was dead and she physically showed up, presuming they were shielded/cured from the effects of the poison heart curse. (Aka 7x08's "Alice, is that really you?" and "Yes, yes, it's me."

They're connected through the wonders of modern technology, her words clearer and different than before as they're now awake, even though it'd probably been a few days since he physically saw and heard from her last. The pain, strength, and joy Killian expresses as he hears her voice. Man could have been ready to break down at the gravity of their situation all over again in his loneliness, but Alice calls him up and he emotes as if she were right in front of him.

When this episode came out, I was like, "Just let them hug already! Wait, they can't. This hurts." Still comes as a shock and pleasant surprise to me, in tandem with him, at Alice being across the street. The writers could have just left them with a phone call in different places, but I'm glad they went this way because it hits hard in all the right places!

My two biggest male crushes are two men with a scary power over the movement of their eyebrows to the point of being sinful

Said men being David Tennant and Colin O'Donoghue

I actually thought this was next week's doodle idea but then I checked my list on Monday and saw it was this week! SERENDIPITOUS INDEED!

lmels. Your lil guy. Your scrunkly. Was SO MUCH FUN to colour. EVEN WITH THE LIMITED PALETTE I HAVE! Trying to figure out how to make his jacket a lil grimey was fun! (I stared with PEELED EYES at SOO MANY KILLIANS while trying to do the beanie and the hair, I HOPE HE'S AT LE A S T RECOGNIZABLE!)

And yes I kNOW probably wine SHOULDN'T go into whatever warm chocolatey drink Jacqueline is having, but tbh, I was hella distracted by CR while colouring so it became wine instead of like, brandy or Bailey's or rum like I was ORIGINALLY intending. Although...I have seen rum similar to that reddish/amberish colour before so....maybe???

Anyway. Whatever's got them both feelin this kinda way is deffs directly Jack's fault. I'll leave that tidbit up to your imaginations 🤭🤭

Next week's scrimbly is a redraw! Then the week after is Into the Shadows spoilers! I've been working away at my second draft (which is notes tbh, really, really detailed notes) and I'm like 11 chapters in and so far, so good! It'll a bit of a CHALLENGE to write what with all the characters and the conflict of chaos versus order between the villains all while trying to make it a Charlie-centric story with a sorta uni au I guess, so basically the ride is going to be WILDIN >:)

Killian sat beside Sebastian, his long hair tied up into a messy bun, the curls sticking out of the hair tie. His glasses had slid down his nose, sitting near the bottom of his nose.

"Say.." Killian started, "I heard the Three Broomsticks have a few new foods on the menu." Killian explained as he looked at Sebastian. "I was thinking you and I could go test some one of the meals? You know, call it a date?" Killian offered with a slight tilt of his head and a small, nervous smile.

"Can confirm that they do indeed. The new herb chicken with roasted potatoes and jam pudding come highly recommended," Sebastian remarked lightly as he watched Killian take the empty space seat next to him. "I happen to know the lad who tends the bar over the weekend..." he added with a bit of cheek. Momentarily lost to his own thoughts, the pad of Sebastian's thumb ran idly across his bottom lip. A brief habitual movement before pulling back to present. His wrist flicked with an off-hand gesture as he gave Killian a guarded, lopsided smile. One that didn't quite reach his eyes. "...for now anyway."

Sebastian caught the slight hesitancy in his voice Killian when he continued. His face remained impassive, a well-practised mask, but date landed as it always did: like a sucker punch. It was rather amazing to him that he was not yet desensitised to it.

Sebastian's reputation was no secret and it was one that he actively and purposefully cultivated. Heated looks across corridors and stolen kisses in vacant classrooms. Fervent tumbles in broom cupboards that ended with curious glances from passers-by as he went on with his day a wee bit more flushed and dishevelled than reasonably acceptable. There were few dusty back rows in the Library that didn't bring back some sort of illicit memory. Not to mention all of the witching-hour shenanigans. Most accepted the fleeting nature of them. Paradise but for a night. A few more, perhaps, if terms were agreed upon and respected.

Emotional entanglements, however, he devoutly avoided. With very good reasons.

He was not so presumptuous to believe that everyone who plucked up the nerve to ask him on a date had such romantic intentions, however with a single word so began the process of determining intentions. It was as methodical as it was exhausting.

"Let's call it..." Sebastian answered slowly as he leaned forward, moving to slide Killian's glasses back up his nose. "...a casual meal and conversation as we get to know each other. And if we are lucky, the bartender may give us butterbeer on the house."

Last Song I Listened to: According to Spotify it was "Need Your Passion" by Sweet Connection. It's an underrated 80s bop. ❤️‍🔥 And ngl I was using it to think about Adamski and Haarlep. 🤣💕

Currently Reading: The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I've wanted to read it for awhile and my friend gifted it to me recently. I'm not that far in yet tho, really I've only just started. Other than that I was rereading Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare earlier as well.

Currently Watching: Uhhhh nothing in particular rn I believe?? 🤔 I feel like the most recent show I watched was the Polish show on Netflix "1670", I LOVED IT!! 💕💖 I need to watch a new show soon but I've been too busy to start something new. 😭😭

Currently Obsessed With: STILL BG3 LOL. 💕💖 I'm playing Durge rn so I'm obsessed with all aspects of that. BUT I've really spiraled and gotten out of hand with creating lore and aus for my beloved Adamski both before and after the actual events of the game. So I guess my other main obsession is just my own OCs. 🤣💕 Other than that, I can feel my obsession with the Yakuza games resurfacing as I get caught up with those games too.

No one does it like Colin O'Donoghue acting out whump. Thank god the man loves the arts and dark stuff as well as the writers for Ouat letting him explore that. The way he winces, scrunches up his face as he acts hungover or like he’s drinking alcohol, bloody up and beaten but yet still manages to crack a smile to look strong in front of his captor or nearby friend. Did I mention how good he looks screaming, tied up, or slumped on the floor?
