Literally right. Wandering in the Dark is a great mission, it’s literally not even close to the “worst quest in Witcher 3”. (Not when you have to listen to bloody Morkvarg bellyaching in In Wolfs Clothing). I love Kiera Metz and her banter is unmatched. The Elven Ruins are cool and it’s our first proper interaction with The Wild Hunt in the game. It’s not tedious, overly disturbing, or useless. It’s great shit. Inject that shit directly into my veins.
As an aside, is it just me or is Kiera totally Autism coded??

Y Hen Llinge and all that: Welsh in The Witcher Series (glossary)
This post is largely my GDrive notes on this subject, but I am a Welsh speaker and have noticed Welsh cropping up a lot in the Witcher series. I'm going to go into a few examples in this post- a word of warning though, there may be spoilers, which I'll mark with a SPOILER WARNING.
The Wiki List:
The wiki contains a glossary of Hen Llinge words alongside their real-world inspirations. Hen Llinge isn't based on Welsh alone, but also Irish, German, English and Latin (among others). The list on the wiki has the following terms marked down as being inspired by Welsh (which I have compiled):

Morvran: Are you sure about this, princess? The only thing the loser hurt is their pride, and this game diverts him from politics.
Ciri: ... Perhaps you are right. Still, we can't have people coming out of the palace in their birthday suits. I never thought he has this wicked sense of humor.
Morvran:(mumbling) Now I know where yours came from.
Ciri: Did you say something, Morvran?
Morvran: Nothing, princess. Let's go inside before the next challenger flashes us blind.
Ciri: Too late!
Morvran: Ugh! And I thought I'd be used to it by now.
Ciri:...I take it you lost as well-
-Lambert?"
Lambert: Pretty-fucking- obvious. He can have my armor for a trophy. I'm not gonna be seen wearing those fancy threads. I can barely tolerate Metz casting an illusion of one on me.
Morvran:... just like Eskel.
Ciri: Wait, Kiera Metz is here?
Lambert: Yeah, waiting in the other room. She pulled my arm into playing the game. All that coin and we'd be set for life! Oh and one more thing-
Lambert: I don't give a rats ass if I'm clapped in irons. Your father is a prick!
