I'm not complaining about headcanons, I'm not the fun police; but it amuses me to see so many people headcanon Sannan as disinterested in romance or anything intimate when this man is clearly one of the thirstiest in the entire game. It shows so much, especially post Edo Blossoms. He is extremely passionate, but even before then, in the main game plus some extras, he is very fond of being quite touchy feely. He's also driven up the wall by Chizuru's weird statements with a surprising ease and very clearly just wants an excuse to stop holding back. He just wanted to avoid anything romantic like the plague for both logistical and emotional reasons, but it's absolutely not for a lack of wanting it.

I want more otome game love interests that use gender-neutral (1st person) pronouns for themselves!

Especially after Hakuoki made most male characters use "ore" and "watashi" was only used by older men, antagonists or both! (Inoue, Matsumoto, Kodo, Amagiri, Takeda, Sannan).

Can someone explain to me why these three are all (glasses-wearing) kuudere? Could it be that their general coldness makes them have no particular feelings about their gender (expression)?

I have a Sannan issue right now

So I watched one Hakumyu show. Then I watched another because the first one was so good. And my mind right now is basically just: Sannan, Sannan, Sannan, Sannan,... you get the gist.

I just ordered two Sannan drama CDs because I wanted to hear Sannan speak.

Recently, I started playing Hakuoki SSL and when he started speaking about how he always left his homework to the literal last day because he wanted to enjoy the suffering, I died. This man is just so cute. He literally can do anything, and I will find it cute. He is perfect. I can’t deal with it. Save me. This man will be the death of me, I swear.

Bought a ticket for Hakumyu

Unrelated to The Second Reproduction but I just bought a ticket to the new musical for Sannan from the otome game Hakuoki! I am so hyped up for it. Sannan is my favorite character in Hakuoki and one of my favorite otome game husbandos so I would really love to see an actor playing him on the stage. Can’t wait for the day to come!
