The founder carefully finished the little girl's cake, as well as all the decorations on the table, he really wanted her to be special, when it came to birthdays, he always got really emotional, watching his little girl grow up made his heart ache, even today he remembers putting baby Kaori in the kangaroo and walking her backstage.

Kauze felt so relieved that Kaori had friends at school, it was a fact that the little girl had a childhood that Kauze had always wanted.

It didn't take long for Kaori to finally arrive on the roof of the building with her school friends.

A father-daughter hug was exchanged, but soon the child ran closer to a box where there were costumes and dressed one, and she didn't leave Kauze out of it, everything went very well, and the founder can say that he is a proud father and silly.

Whenever there was mail at the Sakamaki manor, it was usually the brothers' Father sending them an order of some sorts, but this enveloppe was clearly addressed to her instead.

"Let's see..."

Opening it up, Sharon was delighted to find an invitation to Kaori's birthday party inside. She knew the girl's 10th birthday was coming up and had already bought a gift in advance, but she wasn't sure if she'd qualify to be invited to the actual party.

Kauze’s query took him by surprise. Mystic wondered what was wrong for a moment, and followed the other’s gaze. Just over his left knee, blood pooled on the fabric of his trousers. A hole had ripped through it with ease. It took a moment, when he realized he had been shot. His adrenaline must have rendered him numb to the hit.

Panic settled and he quickly scrambled through his pocket for any extra fabric. “Wha—! When did it even…!?” Just then, pain took over. He stumbled back against the wall and clutched his hand around the wound, gasping.

“It’s worse than I imagined…! This can’t be how it ends. I always knew deep in my undead heart that you would outlive me. But to think that you might perish before that can happen… No! I will save you, surely I will find a way… Damn it. Damn it all.”

And finally, which is, indeed, astonishing, Kauze give some oddly positive vibes. If I knew nothing about him, just looking at him, or meeting him in the street would encourage me to talk with him. As the older counterpart, Mystic has to deal with the overprotective younger Founder that, most often than not, is the one to get the pair into trouble. At last, someone has appeared to show Mystic what it is to have to be the responsible one and clean up after someone else. He isn’t scared of scolding Kauze now, as he isn’t a child anymore, and would expect him to act mature. What he often forgets is that Kauze is still younger than himself. Much like him and Kazuha had been, and perhaps by many more years.

A light-hearted cachinnation escaped Ruki as he imagined the Founder helping the community in such an unexpected way, almost as if exercising the benevolence he taught a young Kauze long ago. With a hand placed on the other's shoulder, an idea came to mind.

"You look like you need some help with the event, or at the very least, someone to finally peel those ridiculous stickers off of you. If you keep walking around looking like that, you'll be a laughingstock. It's good you ran into me first before anyone else you might know."
