I honestly blame the fans and press who began asking for gender-bending Sophie. CVD was very clear that the plot with Granville was only about tolerance, not Benedict's sexuality. But so many people want him to be gay or bi that now they can't just ignore that. In every interview, Luke has to deal with this and it's not fair. Everyone has to be vague about it cause they don't want to anger that part of the audience. And the same is happening with Eloise.

I know it's disappointing. Even when I've been saying that it's okay to watch Polin first, I genuinely screamed a big NOOOOOOO when I read the tweet. (My mom and sister think I'm crazy. They just don't get it.)

But it will happen. I'm confident we'll get Benophie season for s4 and I'll be really happy if we get the masquerade ball in s3. Like I said to another anon, that just means we get 1.5 seasons of Benophie! And maybe their season is gonna break every single record that the show will be renewed for s5 and s6.

Hey, they can actually make a very interesting thing with Polin first. Imagine that Anthony, Colin, Daphne, and possibly Francesca have found love and he's a 28-year-old man who has never felt that! And then one day, he thinks he finally got it, just to disappear right away!

I'm trying to stay positive. We still have the book and the amazing fanfics (seriously I want to steal some of those authors to my other ships). So whatever happens, no one can take that away.

Christmas on Mistletoe Farm (2022)

I want to make something very clear here. I know that this is categorically a bad movie. However, the vibes are so good that it doesn't matter. So if you can't enjoy things just on vibes, this is maybe not for you. But if you pass the vibe check, do I have a chaotic journey for you!

Single father of 5 Matt Cunningham (Scott Garnham) is living in London and working on a pitch for his horrible boss, Ms Fletcher (Ashley Jensen) when he finds out he has inherited a farm in Cobbledon from his father who he has not seen since he was very young. Matt decides that this will be the perfect way to remove all distractions to get his pitch perfect by Christmas Eve.

After they get there, they meet the whole crew of charming village folk and cute animals. The kids immediately fall in love and never want to leave, but it takes Matt most of the movie to catch up. The plot of this movie is very predictable, but it doesn't matter. The reason the vibes are so immaculate is because of a few key characters. The farmhand Beano (Scott Paige), one of Matt's kids Buster (Dexter Sol Ansell), and the teacher Miss Nerris (Sydney Isitt-Ager).

Beano is the main protagonist of this movie. He is just a chef's kiss of a person. He is so weird and so unashamed of being weird that you just want to hang out with him, too. The kids warm up to Beano immediately and follow him around, especially Buster. Beano wears a lot of bright, colorful clothes and Buster likes to wear sparkles and they just have the best time together. Miss Nerris is the village school teacher who believes that education comes in many forms and supports the kids. Miss Nerris and Beano are pretty much raising these 5 kids and Matt is too busy flirting with the cute vet Miss Ashley (Kathryn Drysdale) and working to notice.

The music is fun and festive. The acting isn't good, but it's mostly tolerable. There was only like one part that felt awkward to me due to lack of chemistry, but everything else was just chaotic and weird and fun. So if you enjoy things that are chaotic and weird and fun, this is the movie for you. I for sure did. Overall, 4 stars.
