Made a strange little lady using the tutorial @katescreations posted for putting fingerlings heads on doll bodies. The monkey heads are smaller than the dragons, but I like it!

Just spent a little time toying with her on the fashionista body. Snapstars wig (horrific quality, beautiful color blend). The dress was a gift from the amazing @katescreations (thank you again so much, I love this dress, it's one of my treasures 💗).

I also can't really read the logo on the back of her head. OH! Iwai?! I think I have another baby figure by them! Yeah here she is. The logo looks super fuzzy and maybe a little different? Or knockoff? Anyway it's neat to find patterns in what catches my attention in thrift stores.

Sun Jewel Skipper head reunited with a 1987 Skipper body that @floccentric sent, wearing Creatable World clothes that @cosmomoore sent, and a jacket that I made from an amazing 1990s Halloween Dinosaur print that @katescreations sent--thanks thanks to all of you! (as well as to whoever sent this Skipper head, which I don’t remember, especially since it is not the only Sun Jewel Skipper head I have)

Here is my 1995 Thinkway Toys Bo Peep I got from @katescreations wearing an outfit I horribly mangled from a 2019 Mattel Bo Peep and a top and bonnet I sewed myself.

i’m really happy with how she turned out considering how... unique her face was before.

I’m still tempted to rebody her cuz her original body is sort of janky but of course I find she has a certain 90s charm to her.

We are sure there are many, many more each day using fake accounts (sometimes they abandon one account and open another, some accounts change topics to pretend they are completely different accounts and have nothing to do with dolls) to continue bringing us down on this wonderful hobby. So keep an eye out for them and the first anti recast thing they say, save yourself the trouble and block them. ❤

Remember when you block someone they will not be able to follow you, reply or re-blog, but if they use the specific website address, they will be able to read and see (not interact) everything you do or post in your blog.

We hear all anti recast haters are using this list as a “badge of honor” and they say “now they know it’s safe to buy from this people”, please, do not assume that for a second.

Most anti recast community members  have hidden hi quality recasts on their crew (indistinguishable from the legit, metal plate on the head and all, no shrinking, same weight, usually from Volks LE, Luts, Soom, and Iplehouse, since it’s easier to say you lost the box and COA because this are “old dolls”and you moved to another house, or it’s almost untraceable to the original owner and you got it used), or might play you either way as they did before recast not sending items and such.

Some people are just BAD. We made the list for our own personal reasons and because we actually think the part of the bjd community WE represent will have a better time on Tumblr by blocking this haters to begin with.

But that does not imply this people is “honorable” or “trustworthy” in any way. Before recast existed as a thing, many of this people scammed others in the hobby. Then they became antis or “pro artist", and because all the hate was focus on the recast issue, seems everyone forgot what this (now popular) members of the community did. We have not.

Do not take this list as “a list of trustworthy bjd community members” or a badge of honor because it is never a honor to be among haters and bullies who bring hate to a lovely, wonderful hobby.

I've been having a chaotic past few days at work, so it kept slipping my mind to post this, but I was shocked to find this beautiful girl from @dollsahoy in my mail the other day!! 😭💖 She's amazing.... thank you Andrea for this wonderful suprise! She's wearing a jumper from the amazing @cosmomoore, a perfect outfit for her! I need to take some proper pictures of her, she's glorious. I did a photoshoot the night I got her but the lighting was kind of tricky... 😅 I'm hoping to give her a daytime photoshoot in the next couple of days.

On another note, I'm sorry to everyone for being rather inactive on here! 🥺 This has been a rough year for me and my mental health and I'm working through a lot of stuff. I'm trying to get my life together and hopefully my poor dolls too, since I've been neglecting them. I've been really active on Twitter this year, and have been having fun over there! I've also gotten back into cosplay after years of not doing it anymore. It's tough to balance so many hobbies, dolls, costumes, drawing and more, but I'm trying. I'm hoping to post more and interact with all of you again, especially since I still got stuff I want to send some of you. 😘💖 Love y'all.

Really wish I could fit this Barbie Disney shirt from @katescreations onto the Madame Alexander body, love how it looks!

Had to go with another pink Barbie shirt with a large opening, pants I made for the 18" Miss Sev*nteen, and flat foot Tyler shoes. It doesn't make an outfit I'd ever wear 😂 but it works for now. And she can actually stick her hand in the pocket like MS never could!

This body was already wearing this--the head that had been on it got moved to a new body, and the body that this head had been on was appropriated for a new head (but the new head on this head’s old body does not in any way match the new body that this body’s old head is now using.)  The hat’s new, though--I think @katescreations sent it?

Here is my Mattel Toy Story 2 Bo Peep rerooted, restyled and rebodied onto a MTM body. She looks nothing like Bo Peep but I feel like it’s an important part of Bo Peep to have one cuz she came out during my favourite Toy Story film lol. Thanks again to @katescreations for sending her to me.
