1) Where the eff did the time go I swear I just had Christmas AHHHHHHH the constant passage of time.

2) Without checking my PC, last year was probably My Time At Portia or Coral Island… all time, probably The Sims 4 (I literally have several years of play time accumulated, it’s a 10 year old game, and I’ve got problems)

3) Socks and sandals illegal, although ironically I did wear socks with my Birkenstocks yesterday to go and feed the chickens because I couldn’t be bothered to find real shoes so… prison for Katerini

4) Hmm… who didn’t I have a crush on as a child? Does the persona of The Rock count? I realise Dwayne Johnson is real but…? John Smith from Pocahontas because I didn’t realise the cultural implications at the time… OH and Legolas! My first username was literally elfgirl (Much more of an Aragorn man, now I’m older)

5) Gale Dekarios in all forms except GodGale who hurts my heart. There’s so much great fanfic being written about GodGale but I can’t read it because it makes me too sad. (I think I’ve already said I have problems). Rafael Sanchez from Coral Island because he is SO CUTE but also SO BIG AND 🥵 oh and I definitely have a little thing for Halsin, but not enough to be able to avoid romancing Gale in every play through.

6) I like an erudite, dark-haired older man with self esteem issues? Apparently I have a thing for big muscly dudes too. My poor husband, who does not fit any of these boxes, except the self esteem issues 😂

Transphobic attack in Katerini, Greece.

On the 23rd of September this year in Katerini, a trans woman and a non binary person became the targets of a group of teenagers. Said group, originally consisting of 6 members, was following the two with intentions of violence. Later on, more people joined the former to attack the LGBTQ+ people.

The attacks were initially verbal but later escalated to physical, causing bodily harm to the two victims. This happened in front of multiple eye-witnesses.

It is estimated that the initial group of perpetrators came in contact with others, tripling their numbers.

Both victims and perpetrators were led to the local police station. The woman, who is currently being represented by a lawyer specializing in LGBTQ+ cases, is suing her attackers.

However, a member of the perpetrating group, who --according to the woman-- was the one that immobilized her by way of applying a headlock, so as to allow further attacks by the rest of the group, is counter-suing her, claiming vilification and bodily harm against his person.

Despite the incident being recorded and taking place before a number of witnesses, who have testified accordingly, the allegations of the perpetrator above led to the woman being placed under custody. As a result, she was, for multiple hours, deprived of access to both forensic services and all forms of healthcare, such as tending to the wounds suffered during the attack and her HRT prescription, which, by her own insistence, she received after having to send the police to her house.

Había iniciado su temporada en el Interclubes de Italia con 5.40. Después de la temporada bajo techo, el paulista decidió cambiar por completo su vida. Dejó de entrenar con el ucraniano Vitaly Petrov, quien lo llevó a ser dos veces medallista olímpico, y salió de la ciudad de Formia, en Italia. Ahora lo entrena el estadounidense Mitchell Krier, que guía a Katerini Stefanidi, también campeona olímpica en Río-2016, en Grecia. Stefanidi también fue campeona del mundo en Londres-2017 y bronce en Doha-2019. Thiago justificó el cambio diciendo que prefiere un trabajo más individualizado y el técnico ucraniano ha ido aumentando el número de deportistas con los que trabaja en el centro de formación italiano. El cambio implica tener paciencia para afrontar cambiar la técnica de salto, cambiar la garrocha (de fibra de vidrio a fibra de carbono) y la rutina de vida. “Siempre hay que tener paciencia y adaptación”, dijo Fabiana Murer, ex campeona mundial.. Ella cree que Thiago estará bien preparado para la Copa Mundial de Atletismo en Budapest, Hungría, del 19 al 27 de agosto. En Estocolmo la prueba de garrocha se realizó en dificiles condiciones climáticas (frío y lluvia), comenzó con un retraso de dos horas. Thiago, después de tanta espera, tuvo un comienzo desigual. Pasó los 5,42 m en el tercer intento solo. La marca de 5,62 m pasó de segundo y falló los tres saltos a los que tenía derecho a 5,72 m.
