grant - yes, grant is a very jealous person when it comes to someone he loves romantically. he often tries not to show how jealous he is and will try to deny it but it's quite obvious. not only will he be jealous usually if he sees someone flirting, talking, dancing with the person he is interested in, he can also grow quite jealous of their close friends as well. he's not above intervening and it can range between him attempting to be subtle, protective or if it's clear the person he likes is very uncomfortable with said attention, he can even get physical. one of the reasons he tries to hide his jealousy is because more times than not he puts said person at a distance therefore has no right or real reason to be jealous even though he is.

kassy - no, kassy does not get jealous. though she's usually not one for titles when it comes to dating, i'd say she views herself as polyamorous. she can definitely be quite possessive but that is more for the enjoyment of the power dynamic rather than needing others to keep their hands to themselves (unless that touch is unwanted of course). she has no problem sharing her friends, subs, situationships (to those she deems worthy of her people*) if that is something they'd like too since to kassy, the more the merrier. she also knows that she cannot provide her partners with the kind of relationships and future some may want therefore she will often encourage them to seek other connections. plus, she's very confident about herself and in what she can offer to people.

trinity - yes, and while usually she can contain herself, once she gets a little bit of alcohol in her system trinity can want to fight someone if they look at her partner the wrong way let alone come up to them to flirt or touch them. she can become extremely jealous and possessive of her partner if she feels threatened and go between cursing someone out and trying to fight them, and trying to make said person hitting on her partner jealous by being extremely possessive (kissing them, having their partners hands very obviously on her and vice versa, essentially claiming them as hers and her as theirs). so though trin might come off as shy and quiet most of the time, she can absolutely lash out against someone if they try to get between her and her partner, she's a little crazy.

alec - yes and no, alec is polyamorous and simply loves love too much to be jealous a lot of the time. i'd say he's more likely to be envious of what others have rather than jealous if someone he likes is with another person or flirts, etc. he also doesn't feel as though he is allowed to be jealous because he has issues himself with being completely committed to one person and is very overly friendly. he's aware that he can make any of his potential partners jealous so he tries to be sensitive to that. but i'd say 99% of the time he does not feel that same jealousy others would feel.

rev - yes, they are extremely jealous and possessive. they can become very aggressive towards just about anyone they think is looking at their partner or talking to them too much, let alone if they were to touch them even if it was friendly and not flirty. most of the time they're able to scare people away but a part of them knows it's not necessarily healthy to be so possessive and i think if they were to have a steady partner that they would try their best to work on that but they very much want to protect their partner and not let anyone think they can take advantage of their partners kindness. also they want their partner to choose them and want to be with them as much as rev does their partner.

nate - not really. i'd say nate is also a pretty confident guy and that while he can be protective, i wouldn't say he often gets jealous. not unless specific situations where there is a girl he really likes/loves that he cannot be with and has to watch be with someone else. but with his partner by his side nothing can upset him because she has chosen him and no matter what chatting or flirting goes on he knows that she wants to be with him. i mean i can see him getting jealous if it gets to be too much to the point it feels disrespectful but overall he will let his woman do what she likes and only step in if to protect her or make other people jealous, because they would be since his partner is a complete knock out and he's madly in love with her.

he's doing his nightly rounds. a sweep around the block, carefully watching any one who lingers a little to close to kassy's apartment building. ever since kassy told him about what was happening, he'd started doing this. sometimes he went up and stayed with her. other times, he sits in the cafe, sits in a vehicle, anything to keep an eye on kassy. which...in hindsight, is probably exactly what lands him in these tight cuffs. "i do know my rights." nicklas reminds the camera pointed at him as he sits in the interogation room. still cuffed, despite not being a threat. it turns out, you don't get a lot of chances with a record like his. assaults. reckless endangerment. public intoxication. gun charges that never stick but are recorded. his affiliates and gang leather do nothing to help him and when the police add in that there's a witness...a person who backs up these bogus claims that he's been stalking miss kasandra harwell, plus apparently a failure to appear in court hanging over him...there's not a whole lot he can do but make a phone call.

nick's already gone around and around with the arresting officer who'd caught him outside the apartment. yeah, he knows, it doesn't look good on his part but even the detective is hard of hearing. or at least he'd rather write up his report and say he's done a job well done. all while kassy's still in trouble. in danger even more so because the only person nick can see making these claims...are the one the cops should really be looking at. finally, once the detective comes back with a smirk too wide on his features nick knows what's about to happen. he'll get a phone call sure. but then he's off to processing because they wanna book him.

"grant, oh man, i have never been so happy to hear your voice, you on your way to the club?" he asked, although he doesn't leave grant any room to answer, because by now, even if he'd been held up in his happy land with octavia, the man should be on his damn way to meet nick for their drink. "course you are, anyway, listen, i'm not going to be meetin' you for that beer after all...cops arrested me outside kassy's apartment." as he says the words, it sounds ridiculous to him, as he's sure it does to grant, which is all but confirmed when grant asks, what?

"shut up, ok, listen to me...if i'm in here, we're gettin' close, that's gotta be it, we're poking at the right place...somewhere with this bastard. i need you to go check on kass, make sure she's okay, that nothing happens to her." me? nick do you hear yourse--

"grant. please. check on her and make sure she's okay, keep checking until i get out of this place, they're goin' to try to hold me on some bogus shit while they try to make their case for this...but i need to know you've got her..." the automative voice that lets them know there is one minute remaining in his call comes through causing a panic to rise inside of him. "grant, nothing happens to her. tell me you've got her. after all the shit we've put her through..." i've got her, nick, don't mention it. there's a short breath of relief as he nods his head, grip tightening on the phone. "good. that's good. hey wait, you were my call so get the lawyer-..." the phone clicked as a frown set across his features.

         THE HARWELL FAMILY.

        for the first four years of kassy’s life she was a much different person emotionally than after the twins were born. that’s right, kassy is an older sister of twins, a boy and a girl. unfortunately there was a complication with their birth and her little brother died a couple months after child birth. this was a major event in kassy’s family’s life.         both her parents became very distant, both falling into their work and because of the loss, unable to truly be loving parents to kassy and her little sister, sierra. the two sisters became near polar opposites because of this, kassy becoming almost like her parents in a sense where she was emotionally shut down, near compartmentalizing &/or disassociating from her emotions. she became argumentatively numb, not being nearly affected positively or negatively by anyone or anything.         this of course changes a little bit over the years she spends being best friends with sebastian, being there for her did a lot for her mental health whether they realize it or not since around him she still shows almost a normal range of emotions.           the way this differs with sierra is that where kassy couldn’t really give a shit about what her parents think, nor finding any need or desire to be close to them, earn their love / approval, sierra is the polar opposite. doing anything and everything to try and be somewhat acknowledged by them, especially their mother who out of them all was the most shut down and affected by the loss of her son.

grant - pastel yellow & honestly grant would probably love nothing more than to spend a day going for a hike in the forest just to relax, reading, whether alone or with those closest to him to just finally feel like theres a weight lifted off his shoulders.

kassy loves to dance, she has taken lessons for different types of street & hip-hop choreography and will always opt to dance at a party or club. hell, anyone puts music on anywhere she'll probably dance and try to encourage all shes around to do the same too -- or offer to give them a little show.

grant would like to avoid dancing all together. especially the typical dancing at a club since he's not really sure what he's ever supposed to do. yes he can roll his hips like a belly dancer but is he going to? probably not without a LOT of alcohol. he doesnt hate other forms of dancing that is more classical but still he'd rather not.

alec loves dancing but mostly with his friends or with others, he's a little clumsy so he might stumble but to him it's not about the accuracy of how he does a dance but as long as he and everyone else is having fun, that's all that matters.

trinity sober will not dance at a club, far too shy. she might bop her head a little or tap her foot but until that girl gets some liquid courage in her she won't be doing anything crazy. however, when she does get drunk she's a mesy menace who will dance like no one is watching. trinity used to also be professional at ballet but since her accident she hasn't gotten back into it.

rev would rather not dance, i think the only one who could actually convince them to dance even the slightest bit would be alec and even then they'd probably still be frowning. rev doesn't mind joining alec on the dance floor, possibly spinning him but dancing themself? not likely.

nathan is indifferent about dancing, he doesn't hate or love it but he'll do it if people want him to or if everyone's having fun hanging out on the dance floor. he'll join in whether he's a little silly or not, never taking himself too seriously. he's got some moves but those are reserved ;)

hunter does not like dancing to no ones surprise and i'm not sure anyone would be able to get him to dance unless it's his to be wife and they're practicing for their wedding day.

kassy - more, kassy needs her coffee in the morning before she can properly function and with school and all the crazy amount of shit that goes on she's always drinking coffee unless shes partying, in that case it changes to alcohol. she'll have her coffee black but also is a sucker for the fancier drinks with caramel drizzle and whipcream.

grant - i'd say a little more than average, he doesn't even really like coffee but he'll drink it because it's almost just expected and a habit at this point. he will only ever drink it black.

nathan - probably less, he'll drink coffee if its given to him but for the most part he'll stick with water or alcohol. he'll drink it however it's given to him.

trinity - around average, she's a huuuge tea girl, hates coffee but will have caffinated teas which are substantially less caffinated but because she has so many of them i'd say it's average.

alec - less, he doesn't drink coffee and much prefers other beverages more in the juice variety.

rev - less, rev despises coffee, says it tastes like spicy dirt and if they wanted to taste dirt they'd just go do that out in the forest instead of drinking it. they hate the smell of coffee too.

hunter - i'd say he's the average consumer but caffeine effects him less because of his abilities. he drinks it half the time to simply appear normal. he'll drink it black or with some milk or cream.

kassy - extrovert, though i'd say she's juuust over the ambivert side, she enjoys company but she does also enjoy time to herself, though spending time with people tends to recharge her more than being alone

alec - ambivert, because as shy as he is, alec really does love being around people and talking to them once he gets to know them more

rev - omnivert, because i think on brand with rev, they act in extremes, they can enjoy peoples company and join in on being the life of the party (though usually ofc if it has to do with fighting) but then enjoys the solitude to recharge

hunter - introvert, to no ones surprise also, human interaction for him is very draining

trinity - ambivert, also starts off shy and may seem to appear far more introverted in the beginning but she'll surprise you, also if she gets some alcohol in her system that all disappears haha

kassy - for someone who usually loves to take care of others, who needs control, who rarely shows vulnerability, kassy when she's sick is pretty much all the complete opposite and honestly would love nothing more than someone to dote on her and care for her while she's sick. she's definitely grumpy and whiny, and will probably just try to sleep through it all.

grant - i'm pretty sure he would just try to hide it as best he could. he has a pretty good immune system thanks to how he was forced to grow up but when he gets sick he gets hit pretty hard. he'll probably try to avoid everyone not only to make sure they don't get sick from him but just so they don't see him this way.

alec - as much as he tries to just power though it, alec is also extremely careful while sick because he doesn't want to spread it. he'll be constantly cleaning everything he touches, wears a mask and gloves when making food (he absolutely does not want to get his grandma sick who has a weakened immune system) and is often a lot more clumsy because he doesn't want to slow down but his body needs him to.

nate - has a lot less energy when he's sick, jokes are usually a lot more half-assed and though he won't be grumpy he might appear it since he isn't smiling and grinning, cracking jokes as much. he's absolutely hates getting sick but had gotten sick a lot when he was younger in the orphanage because if one kid was sick it spread like the plague. his immune system is pretty tough now because of that and having lived on the streets but he hates coughing and not being able to breathe out of his nose.

rev - is absolutely miserable sick and most of the time will just say fuck this and disappear in their wolf form for the duration of that time since they're already uncomfortable in their skin without being sick. luckily because of their regenerative healing they don't stay sick very long or very drastically. so for a day or two they may go mia because of this.

hunter - i don't think anyone would be able to tell if he's sick or not. like rev, he most likely won't be sick very long and aside from some physical hints that he is sick and perhaps a deeper voice, he doesn't change. his perk of being so monotone and imassive is that people usually will just mistake him for tired instead.

trinity - would also try and just push through being mostly because growing up it was expected from her mother. she had a busy life of all kinds of after school extracurriculars and was expected to never miss a day of school, so when she would be sick it would be seen as an excuse. she definitely gets quite snappy though because she still feels as though she's not allowed to take a break and rest.

grant ward - for most of his life, marriage never even seemed like an option to grant, he would see couples married and never think that he would be someone lucky enough to be allowed connection at all, let alone have a normal enough life to marry them. though his parents marriage for the most part was for show, if some how, some way grant was ever able to have a partner and not have any obstacles interfering, he would like to marry his partner. he would prefer to be the one to propose because if him and his partner made it this far, it would show his ultimate commitment to this person. underneath the mask of appearing like he might not care for it, is a deep yearning to have a more normal life with a partner and family

kassy harwell - for most of her life kassy viewed marriage in a very distasteful way when she thought of how it originated, which was for a man to claim and own a woman. now older, she still has no interest in marriage because she has no overall real interest in being committed to anyone in general. she sees it through a less misogynistic lens now (for the most part) and would be happy for those who do wish it. overall, she's not completely against it and for specific cases or legal reasons or if it would just be easier, i could see herself getting married but it would be more of something she should do and not necessarily something she has deeply dreamed of. if she was to ever get married she would keep her last name because there is still that inherent feeling of control over her otherwise. she also really would not want who she is to be erased, she wants to be known for her name and profession, not (insert partner)'s wife instead

nathan bishop - nate had never really had a family in the typical sense and never knew his parents. i think part of never experiencing having a family has definitely influenced his desire to have one of his own. though nate can appear like a bit of a playboy he is really only a one person commitment kind of guy and when he finds that person he would love to marry them. the only negative thoughts i could see him having about marriage is how expensive weddings are and how he couldn't provide enough to make it the most special occasion for his partner. he absolutely adores the thought of being able to call her his wife and not in an overly possessive way but in admiration and though she is the most precious and beloved person in the world to him

alec cross - he has always dreamt of having a happy ever after and that includes getting married, he think's its magical and truly so special for two people to show their ultimate commitment. he loved everything about it to the engagement party, to invitations and decorating and planning, the FLOWERS, the written vows, how everyone has come together to cherrish this happy moment. he definitely would love to get married, but there is the small problem that he is polyamorous therefore it worries him because if there is a potential for more partners they can't all get married because of the law

rev everheart - they really have no interest in marriage, they can be committed to someone without that and it just seems like such an unnecessary hassle to them. they're not 100% against getting married and if their partner would want that then they would too but rev would be a little resistant when it came to the wedding itself, which was probably the biggest deterrent to them. they would wear a suit at their wedding and be the one to wait for their partner, not be walked down

trinity lambert - she doesn't really know how she feels about marriage. being a closeted bi girl at an all girls school where all her relationships had to be hidden and private she never really thought she would be able to share her partner openly with the world and not have to worry let alone thinking they could get married. she wasn't someone who grew up dreaming of it but she is a bit of a hopeless romantic and if marriage would be the next step and her partner asked her she would be over the moon

hunter everheart - as much of a loner as he may appear, and as though nothing seems to phase him, good or bad, when hunter does find a partner who he cares deeply for he would absolutely wish to show his commitment and love to them by proposing. a lot of his life, hunter never thought he would have the chance to grow close with someone because of what his father had put him through and until that is dealt with i think he would still be hesitant however, i think in the end that longing would win against his caution (which could possibly be to their detriment) but hunter would love to have a family of his own, and marriage would be one step towards having that

grant ward - he has never celebrated it or really thought about it before. i wouldn't say he's overly invested in the holiday -- not until he has a stable relationship, then i can see him trying to do a fairly grand gesture for it (depending on if his partner cares much about the holiday) because i do think grant definitely is a bit of a romantic at heart

kassy harwell - she doesn't really care about this holiday either and a lot of the time she would only go out of her way to make it somewhat special would be for alec. she lowkey thinks the holiday is unnecessary and if someone cares about their partner they shouldn't have to wait for a specific day to go all out and spoil someone, however she's all for the 'galentines day' get togethers. she also doesn't mind the chocolate and reason to go buy herself a new pair of lingerie, or to plan a fun session/evening with a person of her choice

nathan bishop - honestly the more i answer these kinds of questions the more i realize what a big softie romantic nathan is because he absolutely would love to spoil his partner for valentines day, however the only problem would be that he wouldn't be able to fully make the day as special as he wanted due to his limitations with how much money he has

alec cross - he absolutely LOVES valentines day. everything about it from the colour scheme, decorations, to the grand gestures of love, and gifts and professions of love, being able to go on a cute and romantic date. he loves both being spoiled and spoiling his date, and going out for dinner and all the restaurants are filled with (hopefully) happy couples who are all in love. but he also uses this holiday to appreciate all his friends as well and would love to be included in 'galentines day' etc

rev everheart - they hate this holiday and think its gross and stupid, and that it shouldn't give people a pass to show their affection so publically and in everyones face. if they were asked out for a valentines day date they would still go (depending on who asked) but probably be a little grumpy and uncomfortable depending, plus they wouldn't want any pda or touching themselves

trinity lambert - she doesn't really have an opinion on the holiday, when she was younger, she only liked it because it gave her an excuse to send anonymous love letters to her crush without people knowing who it was from or thinking anything of it. she does really like dressing up for the day and whether she has a date or not would dress and do her make up in theme for valentines day

biggest pet peeves:

grant ward - people who talk with food in their mouth, prying questions from strangers, small talk, nail biting

kassy harwell - slow walkers, loud talking & energetic energy before 11am, women being asked about babies and marriage when it wouldn't be asked to men

alec cross - people who get plants but don't care for them, people who like being negative/bringing the mood down on purpose

rev everheart - talking about feelings, touchy people, pda & gossiping

nathan bishop - saying 'i'm not hungry' then eating from his meal lol, pacing while trying to have a conversation

trinity lambert - being overly materialistic, constantly getting the newest phone model, men inserting themselves into conversations no one asked them to

what makes them smile?

grant ward - watching someone he cares about be happy or cute or silly, dogs, happy kids with their parents, teasing him (but also it runs the risk of him blushing so)

kassy harwell - her people, cute animals, jokes that arent quite funny enough to get her to laugh, seeing someone blush, seeing someone laugh, the ocean, the sunset, the stars, someone being cute, someone being genuine/wholesome

alec cross - people in love, flowers, bees, butterflies, his friends, anyone complimenting him, happy families, people smiling, his grandma, cute animals

rev everheart - fighting in the ring, enjoying nature, watching someone they care about (they have to be unnoticed and alone), their brother happy

nathan bishop - pretty much everything from the little things like seeing kids play outside or an old couple, to making people laugh, to seemingly annoying people (in good faith), being offered anything, being trusted, being given a chance, being sneaky, being cheeky, to more important things like making people he cares about happy

trinity lambert - being able to be herself and show her joy freely, someone complimenting her crafts and clothes and trinkets she's made, seeing karma strike someone

tried and failed hobbies:

grant ward - being able to play the piano; he had been taught to play a few songs as entertainment for his parents parties but when he messed up they said forget it and hired someone professional and he never took much interest in it again

kassy harwell - yoga, it was just too relaxing she'd rather just take a nap & doing graffiti; it was a lot of fun but she decided against it mostly because she didn't wish to have a run in with police. i can see her maybe doing graffiti art on canvases instead but it's a thing of the past for her

alec cross - writing & drawing, alec met kassy through art but he was never much good at it and prefers to model for drawings instead of doing it hismelf. he also wanted to write his own romance novels and ocassionally will write little prompts but its purely for himself

rev everheart - when rev was young their mother tried to get them into ballet which they refused and hated, also then was suggested to learn guitar but they do not have the patience and nearly broke it

nathan bishop - reading; growing up nate didn't manage to get a proper education therefore struggles with reading even if he's always fascinated in the stories, he just doesn't have the patience and can become a little embarrassed for the lack of speed and skill. sewing; not necessarily as a hobby he enjoys but he tried once or twice to fix the few clothes he had

trinity lambert - woodworking; trinity loves and wishes to try almost every hobby and activity and skill she can however, growing up she wanted to try building birdhouses and things like that however it was deemed too masculine for her and her parents refused to support it, that along with most sports aside from horseback riding and kickboxing for self defense

today's new mindblowing discovery: i think kassy is actually biexual 👀

kassy - she has stretch marks on her outer thighs and two little scars on her hands, one along her pointer finger and another on her thumb from a cooking accident.

grant - he has a scar along his left cheekbone that is constantly splitting and rehealing, bullet scar in his shoulder and just above the opposite hip. the tops of his shoulders and sprinkled a bit on the tops of his hands and arms have faded white cigarette burns. raccoon bite scar on his forearm and a couple scars along his calves. post season one ; a scar over his nose, a handful of knife scars along his chest and arms.

nate - he's got a few knife scars along his arms, one at his side, one across his chest and a small, faded scar from just under his cheekbone to his jaw.

trinity - long scars that wrap around her thigh on one leg where she broke her femur from a car crash, a thin scar along the side of her arm from her wrist almost to her elbow.

alec - a bunch of little scars over his knees, legs, elbows and arms from many clumsy falls and bumping into things. he had a few small ones on his hands. he also has a faded scar above his eyebrow on his forehead that's usually hidden by his hair and a thin, faded one over the bridge of his nose.

rev - they have a few scars along their arms and shoulders from their childhood before gaining their regeneration abilities. couple are from falling out of a tree, couple others are cuts from glass windows of like abandoned houses or places they weren't allowed to be, and then a couple are from fights at school and they got pushed into something sharp. they have one on their ear too when they were really young and tried to cut their own hair because they didn’t like it long.

hunter - would have a ton of scars but because of their regeneration abilities they have no scars.
