Made a new marsea/kanenball tribute. :)
Finally uploaded this three years after starting it. What a kanenball of craziness.
Summer's here and just last night I decided to look through some of my old marsea videos. That led me to rewatching the first half of this tribute that I had already made (until @1:08), and because of their adorableness, I just had to finish it and upload it for all of you. Maybe the random continuation three years later will show a change in my tribute editing style/skill? Probably not, haha.
Six seasons have passed and I still have yet to see Mark with a better partnership than what he had with Chelsea. In season 12, he embraced his creative side and was not afraid to take risks each week. He even got an emmy nomination for his dances that year. Not only that, but they truly had a great light about them, and I honestly miss seeing the great joy and fun in Mark that we did back when he was with Chelsea. I said it back then and I'll say it now - I truly hope nobody forgets the magical pairing of Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas.

So, this is it...
I know everyone's disappointed about Mark and Chelsea ending in third place, but let's face it, Chelsea's fanbase isn't as large as Kirstie's or Hines'. They have been around for many years, therefore gaining lots of followers/fans.
They did their best each week, but that wasn't the issue. They needed votes. Promoting them or saying people should vote isn't enough. Voting several times is the answer.
You've seen what happened when they were in jeopardy. Obviously they had just enough votes to stay safe, but at this point, it was more than obvious that EVERYONE was going to bring the fans to get the votes.
Through the season, Hines and Kym were constant, and never in jeopardy. They did their very best, and heck they even got the first perfect scores! Let's be real, despite the talent, DWTS is a show that is based on the popularity of the contestants.
The pros already have fan bases, and if you add the stars', the result is amazing. Sadly, Mark and Chelsea's weren't enough. They did amazing, but the fans failed to get enough votes for them.
Everyone saw that Miley tweeted her fans to vote for Kirstie, sadly that inclined the votes to favor them, and it worked. Her scores weren't even good, but the votes changed everything. Judges scores: 50% Votes: 50%. Her fans (or Miley's, however you want to see it), did their job.
Mark is an amazing dancer and choreographer, who gave his very best, through sickness and injuries, and Chelsea learned quick and did what he expected; they were great not only on the ballroom, but outside too, and their friendship will remain through the years. Sadly they didn't win, but they did their very best, and that's what matters.
On a side, I'm extremely sad about them losing, but on the other, I am happy for Hines and Kym, they deserved it. For team Kanenball, it just wasn't their time to win.
I know many of you are going to hate on me for this, but I can assure you I am a die hard Mark Ballas fan, though I'm not biased, and I know how to recognize a job well done. This blog will continue supporting Mark, and whoever his future partner is.
