The box on your desk was mocking you, or at least that's what it felt like. It was a large box, one that was often used for moving your clothes or such and not really for paper. A peek inside was enough for you to groan in annoyance and the note that read 'has to be finished by tonight' didn't make it any better. You knew well enough that your boss, Myung-Hee, was doing this just so she could take out her frustrations on you at the end of the day. But you were competitive and there was no way that you'd give her that satisfaction, so you were determined to finish everything.
The first document was quickly finished, only two pages long and you only needed to fill in a few blank spots. Then the second document came along, this time twenty pages long and you had to search most things in the system. Unfortunately for you, the rest of the fifty documents were also twenty pages or more. So by lunch, you were only done with a quarter of the work.
"Are you coming, (y/n)?" One of your co-workers spoke up and you looked up from the papers before sighing softly, stretching your limps and grinning at the satisfying pops.
"Can you just bring me back a sandwich? The usual one." You asked and although she seemed a bit disappointed in you, she agreed nonetheless. You looked at the papers again before getting up for coffee. You didn't usually drink coffee during work hours, but right now you didn't have much of a choice since your eyes stared losing focus from the letters on the papers. So you moved to the coffee machine and taking one of the paper cups to pour it in. After drinking it, you went back to work. Every piece of paper felt like it took an eternity to finish and working while eating was a bit more difficult, but you tried your best. You didn't really pay attention to the time, you were too immersed into the stupid letters to notice the lack of sunlight. It wasn't until your last co-worker left that you noticed, but only because he told you. Yet, you had over twenty documents left...
With a glum face, you took the finished documents to Myung-Hee's office and knocked with your foot. The door was opened and Myung-Hee stepped aside to let you in, but the smirk on her face said enough. Weirdly enough, she just replied with a thank you before requesting that you leave. So you did.
Tumblr media
"Are you still not finished?" Your co-worker asked and you shook your head, sinking in your seat with a loud sigh.
"Just two more, which means forty more pages." You mumbled before yawning loudly, covering your mouth in surprise before groaning again. Luckily, you were finished by lunch and ready to down after bring Myung-Hee the final documents.
"So, you're finally finished?" Her voice was clearly meant to be mean, but you honestly didn't care. So you dropped the paper before walking out.
"Hey! I'm talking to you!" Myung-Hee didn't even care if anyone heard her, marching after you and roughly turning you around. She started her rant of how the papers had to be finished yesterday and now she was behind as well, causing clients to get annoyed. You hardly believed her and if it was true, it was her fault for delivering the documents to you so late. Nonetheless, you stayed quiet since she was still your senior and boss.
"How are you still working here? You barely do anything and if you do, you do it wrong." She sneered and you rolled your eyes, which she quickly noticed and suddenly you felt a slap on your cheek that made you flinch harshly to the side. The pain in your cheek was barely felt as rage took over your body, boiling over your limit and the it snapped.
"You really think you're above everyone else here?!" You exclaimed as you got closer to the woman, ignoring the whispers around you from the people that had never seen you like this. They were used to the kind and sweet you, not this version.
"You're not better than anyone here, you scam and threaten people to win your cases! You barely do any of your own work and I know this, because I do it! There is not a day that I wished you'd dissapear or that Cha-Young stayed instead of you. At least she did her work, the good and the bad." You sneered, not even trying to control the words that rolled from your tongue. You were well aware of how horrible you sounded, but you honestly didn't care at this point.
"You're a vile woman that I wish didn't even ex-" "That's enough now, darling." Han-Seok's voice rang from behind you and a hand covered your mouth. You bit it, ignoring the loud whine from Han-Seok as you turned back to trying to berate the woman before you. You didn't get the chance as Han-Seok lifted you with ease, throwing you over his shoulder like you were a large bag of sand. You shrieked, hitting Han-Seok's back to be released. Han-Seok didn't budge, instead he walked to the elevator. As the doors closed, you were dropped on the ground again. You fell down on your butt and glared up at Han-Seok, who only kneeled down before you after pressing the button for the top floor aka his office.
"I was talking..." "You call that talking?" He asked and you rolled your eyes at him before hissing when Han-Seok lifted your chin. Your eyes connected and you could see the switch in his eyes, no longer pretending to be sweet Jun-Woo and rather now his true self as Han-Seok. It was something that usually scared you a bit, but now it didn't.
"You have no idea how attractive you are when you're mad, do you?" His smirk spoke wonders for your imagination, thoughts racing through your head. The man before you only smiled before placing a soft kiss on your forehead before leaning down even more so his eyes were on the same level as yours.
"So fix it, baby."

Okay so let me just write my thoughts and reactions on ep 18 ( it’s kinda long)....
From the starting I knew that jang Han SEO never betrayed him. Please look at the shock, his shaky hands and a bit of horror. His acting skills man. My himbo baby. They way he GOT UP made my squeal so hard. Whenever vin speaks Italian I ascend to heaven. They way he just kill the Interpol guys and scared the shit out of the officers was amazing lol. The cover story was so convincing. WHEN HE SAID MS Choi ARE YOU STUPID , I WAS SO PROUD. Jang Han SEO should be an actor istg😂. Me Han was suspicious tho. ‘Bye ms Choi’😂. Just hold my hand lmao. I like how mr Han also stood up against ms Choi. IT WAS A SET UP YAY. I like how vin was worried for him and asked him if he was scared, nobody asked him that in his life time🥺. MR NAM COMING AS A REFREE WITH HIS ROLLER SKATES. Vinny , mr nam and jang Han seo make a great team. They way they just look at each other and smirk. The scene where jang Han SEO is carrying so much things and Vinny is like is it heavy? I jus feel like he is asking him to not carry this much load and give him some just warms my heart. Han seo is carrying the trauma, fear and helpless since birth. All of that is making him tired . Then Vinny takes his bag anyway means that he is taking Han seo fear because now Vinny is on his side. He is assuring him or am I interpreting it wrong. The whole shooting in the arm said BROMANCE. It was so endearing to watch them behave like real brothers and I was so happy. Him repeating everything Vinny says, being confident about getting shoot, Vinny teasing him that he didn’t even shoot it, them him fainting was so wholesome and funny. ‘ Grandma, why are you here grandma’ , JANG HAN SEO YOU ARE SO FUCKING CUTE. Then him smiling and giggling like a baby in hospital room please I only want happiness for him. Bye bye balloon trip, is it foreshadowing 👀. Vincenzo gaining a younger brother and N older brother please why am I in tears. Jipragi team is just chef kisses. Miri really is a bad bitch. Just want Vinny and chayoung to adopt her. Feels like she is their daughter or is it just me? She just raised the volume lmaoo. Han seok losing his pieces. YAY.Their court room walk be always iconic. Chayoung literally had heart eyes when Vinny was taking to the press. She was like that’s my man. I am 100% sure that monks are carrying out the gold. I love how geumga family take care of everyone. This found family is everything. They way chayoung and Vinny said see you later and departed I knew this episode will break my heart later. I can totally see jang Han seo enjoying by seeing his brother suffer. Mr Han really thought he could underestimate him. The way vin hung up the phone remainded me of chayoung 🥰. The scene with chayoung and Choi is so good. The way the director showed that chayoung is overpowering her is just wow. Their whole conversation is just oozing out queen energy. I am a lesbian for Hong chayoung the power she holds. They way Choi just takes a sip and chayoung the bad bitch she is took a shot with no hesitation. I was screaming. I Stan this women. Just because mr Han is a chief prosecutor he thinks he can underestimate him. I laughed at his naive childish behaviour. Vinny being the intimidating mafia consigliere not giving a single fuck and shot them in the leg🥵🥵. Han seok being chased out of his kingdom .Their fight scene phew. Him being scared was so good. Mr cho getting beaten up🥲. I feel like mr Kim will be the real villain pulling up the strings. Han seok throwing a tantrum like a spoiled annoying brat and ms Choi acting like his mother. ‘ you must admit, Vincenzo is no match for you’ I was like FINALLY THEY REALISE. Han SEO not getting scared of his brother outright telling him that he is not scared and dumb anymore. You can see shock on Han seoks face when he realises that he can’t control his brother and when he laughed at him I lost shit.Jang Han SEO FINALLY standing up to him. Him pressing the hand cuffs please he is really learning a lot from Vinny. Han seok realising that he doesn’t have enough power is just so satisfying to watch.
The scene where Han seo says that Vinny is like his brother and like how he is comfortable with him. The scene was so heart wrenching. He has never experienced love and warmth. When Vinny told him not to call him brother you can see the pain. He is thinking that I wish he was his real brother so that I don’t have to ask for his permission to call him brother. When Vinny agreed you can see the happiness in his face and how he got all giggly and happy. Please someone hug him. The scene touched my heart. You can see that Vinny CARES for him. He really does. He really has been treating him like his little brother. You can also see that Vinny got a bit sad by how Han seo was treated. You can see a bit of protectiveness when he looks at Han SEO. I am really scared for Han SEO though. Like really. Vinny finally showing Han seok who is the BOSS .His story about his past was given in two lines but it didn’t feel rushed and I was satisfied. The writer really is amazing. The story about how he tortured the murder and saying that he is a cat which likes to play with his mouses aka the enemy was scary and so satisfying. I always thought that he was this kind of a guy. This just shows how superior he is. The big brain energy he has is just amazing. Like how he literally played Han seok. Everyone fangirling over luca aww. Vinny happy to see Luca but it was ruined by serious matters. Angry Vinny is so sexy. The chayenzo moments were less but it’s okay. I love how they are slowly building the relationship which will be unbreakable. I saw that the curtains of both Vinny and chayoung house were open. Does this mean they are finally acknowledging their feeling? The photo was so beautiful. Look how lost Vinny was when inzaghi didn’t come. The whole goodbye was so emotional. Chayoung is so strong. A true Mafia wife. Look at her consoling everyone while putting on a brave face and a smile. Some one hug her please. The whole geumga plaza giving him food and warmth I am crying. When he says thanks bro to bye bye balloon boss. I was like AWWWWWWWWWWW. Chayoung literally learned Italian FOR HIM I AM CRYING. The handshake....can’t he just hug her. she literally said you are my other half. THE GOLD IS NOT THEIR BAHAHAHA I KNEW IT. chayoung protecting miri is just like how a mother protects her child🥺. The way she was shielding her.
YAY VINNY CAME BACK. YOU CAN SEE THE ANGER ON HIS FACE. He was like how dare you touch my wife and scare my daughter you piece of shit and then just yeets the guy. Vincenzo really knows how to end the episode. Vincenzo is officially my favourite k drama istg.

Why is hanseok considered the greater evil, and vincenzo the lesser evil?? I genuinely dont understand, can you explain it to me please??
hiii thank you so much for sending me an ask!! i'm not going to lie, i saw this ask a long while ago when you originally sent it but it took me a long while to answer it because i really had to think about it and also it's kind of a hard question for me to answer. but, i will attempt my best to kinda give my thoughts on why we consider vincenzo as the "lesser evil."
first, i need to say that both vincenzo nor han seok are good people and i am not saying that either of them are good people. i am simply comparing their evil levels and explaining why we as viewers often find vincenzo to be the lesser evil than han seok.
second, we need to define what evil means in this context (which is kinda hard because it depends on each person's perception but aaa) if we're considering someone evil for purely their actions, excluding motivations, then both vincenzo and han seok are the same level of evil. han seok brutally murders, and psychologically and physically abuses people. vincenzo's actions (aka setting people on fire, abusing and murdering people, torturing people, etc.) also makes him evil.
BUT if you define evil through motivation, then vincenzo and han seok are still evil but not on the same level of evil. yes, both characters commit bad actions but their motivations are different. vincenzo kills only when given a reason to. for example, we know that a robber killed his foster parents so when he joined the mafia he both psychologically and physically tortured him for almost a year (now whether the method of killing is a justifiable or an equal punishment for the crime is an entirely different question and i just won't be able to answer that because it's just so hard and complex of a question.) he sets the warehouse on fire to get revenge on behalf of the victims of the drug produced in said factory. he kills the two people who killed cha young's father and he kills the people who set up the family of the dead researchers to look like a suicide. he only kills or tortures people who have done a wrong against him or the people he cares about.
on the other hand, han seok kills and tortures for his own amusement and gain. he kills the prosecutor with the hockey stick because he didn't get his way and they annoyed him. he allows and gives the resources to choi myung hee to kill or maim anyone that gets in the way of his plans. han seok murdered his classmates for no reason other than he didn't get what he wanted. and most of all, he tortured and abused han seo just for his amusement. han seo was his punching bag, where he would belittle and abuse him in order for han seok to get his anger out. he does bad actions without a given or justifiable reason. he would play with han seo and keep him on the edge at all times, because he got a power rush from it. so when you compare vincenzo and han seok's motivations for their actions, i don't think you can say that vincenzo is the same level of evil as han seok.
we also don't see vincenzo attacking someone beloved to the person who has done wrong in order to get revenge. for example, in order to hurt vincenzo, han seok kills vin's mother, who has not done anything wrong this situation. but with vincenzo, we never see that happening. even though we see vincenzo hanging out with prosecutor jung's family after he betrays them, there's not a moment that he actively threatens or attacks prosecutor jung's family. he doesn't threaten prosecutor jung or tell him he will kill his family because in his mind, it's not justifiable to take the life on another person who hasn't done wrongdoing in order to hurt the person who has. for han seok this is not true, he has killed or attacked innocent people to make his enemy hurt.
another reason we are bound to consider vincenzo 'a lesser evil' is because of remorse. despite vincenzo's motivations or actions, he displays remorse and regret for the killing he has done. han seok, on the other hand, does not. Vincenzo is haunted by the killings he has done, by the blood he has spilled and we don't ever see that ending even when he gains a family and gains love. even if he can justify his actions, he is still regretful of what he had to do. han seok does not show the same remorse as him, only feeling bad when it is his life that's under threat in the very last scene. not to mention that he brags about killing, he gets power and happiness from his killings both when he killed his classmates as well as when he killed the prosecutor. han seok takes pleasure in his actions, as he is shown dancing and being gleeful as he kills vincenzo's mother and many others. he has no regret or shame in what he has done.
in so many law and crime shows we see a "morally" good hero who "spares" the villain in the end because it is the "right thing to do" despite a) killing all their side minions that helped the villain and b) all of the villains evil actions and harm they have caused the victims. we, as viewers, often aren't satisfied at the end because we're not seeing the punishment match up to the crime. this show's main thesis is showing that han seok is so evil that no law or justice system can properly punish him for the pain and abuse he has inflicted on his victims AND because this system that is supposed to punish him is just as cruel and corrupt as he is. it's highlighting the injustice to the victims of babel as a corporation, victims of the justice and law system and victims of han seok himself. vincenzo is showing that he is the best punishment for han seok because vincenzo is a mirror to him and han seok in the end is getting a taste of his own medicine.
all of this is why that last monologue of the show is important. we, as viewers, are watching a show that frames vincenzo as the main protagonist. his actions and him are framed in a way to make us root for him, with the music and the cinematography. but we're also given small reminders of who he actually is throughout the show: through the nightmares he faces, through mr. tak telling him not to change into a lighter person, through the scene where he faces han seok in jail. and finally, that ending monologue is showing that no, he is still a bad person. he is still an evil person who is committing bad actions and us rooting for him to punish the villains in this show does not change the badness of his actions. really, that last line in vincenzo is making us question whether his actions are justifiable and can we actually root for him.
feel free to disagree with me or start a conversation below because i feel like this is a really interesting question but the answer to this changes based on each person's perception of morality and what constitutes a good person and a bad person. i feel like this is such a deep question and there's so many ways and angles that you can look at this from so i don't think i've done a great job in explaining everything but this was just what i came up with for today. there's also every chance that my line of reasoning or logic is flawed so i'm open to any criticisms to this so i can acknowledge and correct it!
(also if you want a good kdrama that asks these same questions and has that same energy as vincenzo then please watch taxi driver! it’s a great show and it really makes you think about the earlier questions of “does the punishment given out by vigilante justice match the crime committed by these people? to what extent is vigilante justice justifiable? where does the law draw the line between giving the victims of brutal crime justice vs protecting the criminal from cruel and unusual punishments?”)

Yoga
Summary: Vincenzo hides his jealousy as well as he hides being part of the mafia.
Author's note: it was supposed to be a cute jealous yoga story I don't know why this ended in angst 😂😂😂 I really need to get my life together. Also Vincenzo rubbed me the wrong way today and some people are trying to convince me that I'm interpreting the show incorrectly and explaining to me why it didn't offend them and why everything was fine and I just need you to know, my opinion isn't changing but listen if you had a great time today watching the episode please don't let me stop you. I don't need anyone to be outraged with me. I'll be mad all by myself I promise! But just to be clear my problem was the creation of yet another gay character who an awful person in a kdrama. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen gay characters not be predators or abusive.
Anywho I give you jealous aerial yoga fun that ends in man pain!
He probably believes that he's being inconspicuous again, hiding this side of him as well as he'd thought he was hiding being a member of the mafia. But he's just as obvious as he always is in her eyes, much like her he's too theatrical to ever really conceal how he's feeling. He talks too much and reveals his cards too easily- especially to her.
He's attracted to her that much is painfully evident, if her father's nosy assistant hadn't interrupted they would have kissed. She would have been laid across the table and taken apart, his eyes promised a great time as he devoured her. She was just as attracted to him, she wouldn't have stopped him from doing whatever he wanted.
It is getting more difficult to ignore the quiet moments though, when she can feel his eyes on her and it's not sexual at all. He's just looking at her and she feels bare, naked.
Those moments scare her in a way she hasn't felt before. Ergo she presses them deep, deep into the dark corners of her brain behind all the different ways that she has concocted to throw off others, she's used to being strange and having men overlook her for it.
She's never been what others would consider "sexy". But then he appears and suddenly men seem to see her in a new light. Or maybe he brings her attention to it.
It all begins at the coffee shop, they've made a habit of starting their mornings together by getting coffee. She doesn't analyze what exactly they're doing but some may consider it a date, she hasn't giving the outings a title there's no need to.
She feels comfortable with him and he hasn't been resistant to her pushing her way into his life. She has always been like this, too much and overbearing. Usually it drives people away and she pretends that it doesn't hurt that she's something that people need in doses, she's heard that so often that it's etched in her brain.
Friends in college, boyfriends and her colleagues to name a few.
But for some reason he keeps coming back for more doses, regularly smiling at her shenanigans even egging on her antics with full body laughs.
So he'd taken her to get coffee grinning once again as she dragged her caffeine deprived body dramatically like a puppet with its strings cut to the counter, plopping herself on the surface before crying out, "If I don't get a large sewage water in five minutes my death will be on your hands!" The barista behind the counter grinned over at her, used to her dramatics. He was young, barely nineteen and he'd tried his hand at flirting with her a few times. She had promptly laughed in his face the first time, spewing coffee everywhere before strutting out of the shop.
Laughing and punching a stranger in the arm, ignoring the loud "Hey! What are you doing," before she danced down the sidewalk, hand on her hip as she flipped her hair before shouting to the sky, "I've still got it, baby!"
That day he had glanced at Vincenzo before walking over to her, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"I didn't realize I had so much power over you. What if I say I won't give it to you unless you let me take you on a date?" She remembered her eyes widening in shock and then disbelief and finally landing on bemusement, he was persistent she would give him that much but she was no cougar so his flirting was futile.
She opened her mouth to let him down easy- laugh in his face again and remind him that he had to be this old to ride her ride but suddenly her Italian was leaning across the counter, all cool lines with a deadly smile on his face.
With a his deep voice he chillingly said, "If you don't give it to her your death will be on my hands."
There was heavy silence.
He continued, "I know how to kill a man with only a coffee cup and a string."
The barista, Heon, stared at Vincenzo with all of the blood draining from his youthful face. She didn't blame him the man did sound unnervingly serious and the look in his eyes was a little too real to be purely acting. Plus there was conveniently a coffee cup and a string right there on the table, it was an oddly specific thing to say.
Then after a pregnant pause, he started laughing loudly filling the entire shop like a mad man and she looked over at him as if he had lost his damn mind but this was her favorite coffee shop, she couldn't be banned so she started laughing with him, guffawing and pushing the idiot on the shoulders.
"He's just joking! HahaHAHAHA, laugh it was a joke! LAUGH!!" She leaned across the counter to pat the scared boy on the back but then Vincenzo leaned into her, draping his arm around her shoulder and pulling her back until she was no longer touching him. His laughter static and too robotic to be anything other than a hoax.
She'd never seen anyone brew coffee that fast before. It was impressive what a person could do when they felt as if their life was in danger she'd thought, she gave him a generous tip before leaving.
Heon mysteriously stopped working when they would normally come to the coffee, another barista informed her that he had switched his hours. A certain Italian was really cheerful upon hearing the news, whistling an unknown tune as he sipped his tiny cup of espresso- double shot, traipsing away with a pep in his step and the wind beneath his suit coat.
His random violent outbursts continued.
Bartenders. Businessmen. Traffic officers. Other lawyers. A librarian who had flirtatiously whispered that she wouldn't need to be quiet when they were alone. Suddenly there were men everywhere and she was the hottest thing on the menu, her lower back probably had an imprint of his hand by now from all the times he would steer her away from her suitors.
Every time his excuses were the same, "I'm just protecting you. Guys like that are scum, you deserve better."
Well the one she wanted had no intention of staying so why was he blocking anyone else from trying?
Thinking about it makes her chest feel tight and she welcomes the weekend, she has booked an aerial yoga class to release some of the stress and tension just being around the Italian causes.
It's a warm day so she dons a small set, a light blue sports bra with matching shorts throwing a light jacket over in case the temperature drops at the end of the day. Looking in the mirror she scoops her hair into a low ponytail, pushing back baby hairs that frame her face.
She swipes a thin layer of chapstick across her dry lips before grabbing her phone, keys, gym membership card and her gym bag with a change of clothes.
The drive to the studio is short, she listens to BlackPink on the radio happily screaming about her dududududu complete with car choreo that consists of arm shakes and a lot of hair whipping. It's another miraculous day where she does not cause a car accident, she gives herself a high five for the small victory.
She parks her car haphazardly driving onto the sidewalk several times before getting it right. With a satisfied sigh she hops out of her car, opening the back door and bending over to grab her gym bag.
"Cha-young ah?"
A familiar voice surprises her and she jumps bumping her head into the roof of her car with a cry, she drops the gym bag and leans out of the car rubbing her throbbing head with a pained grimace.
Vincenzo is standing in front of her, in what is the most casual outfit she has ever seen him wear. A pair of navy blue sweatpants, a plain white t-shirt and expensive looking black sneakers, leave it to him to wear Balenciagas when trying to look casual.
Her mouth becomes very dry as she takes in the unexpected but very much welcome sight.
Shaking herself out of her stupor she raises an eyebrow at him, "What are you doing here?" She asks once again leaning into her car to retrieve her gym bag. When she turns around slamming the door shut she watches Vincenzo peel his eyes away, quickly looking away from her direction.
Had he been checking her out?
She smirks at the thought before openly checking him out. Eyes perusing his body up and down in a slow and thorough examination.
"Are you checking me out?" He asks amused as he folds his arms across his chest, making his already impressive biceps look even bigger and more enticing. She knows exactly what he's doing, he's about as subtle as a bulldozer.
"Yes, I am. Do you need me to turn around again so you can check me out?" She laughs easily as he sputters and tries to deny her claims, once he realizes that she doesn't believe a word he's saying he finally stops, admitting defeat.
"Those are...great shorts." He drawls, gone is the embarrassed act. Now he's freely eying her shorts clad body, eyes hot as they trail up and down her legs.
Shaking her head she smiles at him, "You never answered my question. What are you doing here?" He struts over to her prying her gym bag from her hand and throwing it over his free shoulder. She tries not to get too affected by his sudden closeness, his cologne filling her nostrils with the fresh earthy musk.
"My gym is here. I came to work out. You look like you had the same idea, you should have called me." There he goes again, making space for himself in her life although he has no intention of staying with her. It was cruel and she knows she should cut him off before it's too late.
"I don't think you'll be interested in what I'm doing." She answers walking ahead, holding the gym door open for him. They both show their card to the attendant at the front and the young worker smiles at her before saying, "Your aerial yoga class will be starting in five minutes. It's best to go early and secure a good spot."
She can see Vincenzo's questioning face in her peripheral but she ignores him to nod at the younger woman, tugging her bag off his shoulder and nodding at him in dismissal.
"Enjoy your work out." She climbs the stairs leading to the huge studio where the aerial classes are held. His eyes are like lasers on her back and she already knows that he's going to follow her, he's too intrigued to stay away. That's what she was banking on.
She would get him back for all his jealous tantrums this past week. There were so many places they were probably going to be banned from and all because he didn't know how to play well with others. She's wasn't some toy he could claim. Especially when she couldn't claim him back.
Finding a spot in the corner she puts her bag down on one of the mats that are provided, taking a few moments to do some light stretches. She bends over touching her toes before dipping her head and elongating her neck, then she does a few squats and jumping jacks just to get her blood pumping and her heart racing.
She can feel the exact moment that he comes, it also helps that all the women gasp and she can hear coy giggles about their new guest. She pretends not to notice him, stretching backwards into a perfect handstand holding it for a few minutes before tilting back and planting her feet until she's upright again. She almost loses her composure when she catches his expression in the large windows.
He looks shocked and aroused, neck redder than normal.
All the women settle down when the instructor comes to the front of the room, they have reached the point where he no longer shows them what to do instead he walks around the room correcting their form and giving tips or words of encouragement.
He's a beautiful man, with mocha colored skin and a lean muscled build and the most gorgeous head of coily hair. She has been coming here for months and they've become quite closer as they have a lot in common, most importantly they both love men. When they had run into each other and realized they were staring at the same guy's ass, it was love at first ogle.
When he comes over to greet her she immediately steps into his space with a mischievous grin. Sean grins back looking exasperated already but he still says, "What are you up to? I know that smile Ms. Cha-young." She leans closer certain that Vincenzo is avidly watching her every move. Trailing a finger up his thick bicep she whispers, "Nine o clock, don't look but I need your help to teach him a lesson. Are you up to it?"
Sean starts to turn his head before processing her order and stopping, he stares at her before a devilish look gleams in his bright eyes too.
"You know I'm always up." He replies voice full of innuendos and she fake swoons, bringing her hand to her forehead. "Don't tease me."
He chuckles at her before walking back to the front of the room, none of the other women react to their flirtations used to their antics and everyone already knows that Sean is as gay as the pride flag. Everyone except one fuming Italian.
She can feel his waves of anger crashing across the room and she tugs at the cloth in front of her testing the weight before easily hoisting herself up, letting it cup her bottom as her feet dangle.
She's ready to put on a show.
He hadn't stalked her per se, he'd merely overheard one of the tenants say that they'd seen Cha-young in a nearby studio on weekends so he'd went to see if she really did go there. And then there she was bent over in her car, pert little bottom sticking out the car and he wanted nothing more than to smack the flesh and watch it bounce and jiggle under his hand.
This was why he was so protective, not jealous. Protective. She was too careless with her body and there were salacious men out there ready to take advantage of that, she needed someone like him who had a pure heart to look out for her.
He was allowed to fantasize about spanking her while having a pure heart, it was called having duality.
So he'd followed her into the gym, a little peeved when she abandoned him without a word to attend something called "aerial yoga", he knew regular yoga and if it was anything like that he was very much interested.
In watching her do it.
Turning to the young worker who had been staring a hole in his face, he sent her a charismatic smile before leaning nonchalantly on the counter, he could tell that he had her full attention by the way her mouth fell open.
He almost felt bad, she seemed a bit wet behind the ears. But he wasn't really trying to seduce her so it was fine, he wasn't some old creepy predator.
"Hey, that aerial yoga class am I allowed to watch it? I want to see if it's something I might be interested in." He lies to the younger woman, watching her process his words before answering.
"Well technically that class is restricted for those who signed up..." She trails off looking at him and he smiles brightly, pushing his curly hair off his forehead he had forgo his products today and the way her eyes follow his fingers make him thankful that he did so. "But you won't do any harm by watching, I'm sure it'll be fine. Go on up." She finishes and he throws a mental fist pump, he still had it.
Outwardly he smiles serenely, thanking her before walking up the stairs that Cha-young just disappeared up. It leads to a spacious studio with a wall of gleaming mirrors and huge bay windows overlooking the city. He looks around before his eyes land on her, the reason why he's here.
He swallows a groan as he watches her stretch that slim gently curvy body, she's all smooth lines and feminine appeal. When she starts squatting he can't help but watch those firm cheeks tensing and tightening, he lazily leans back hungrily watching her.
Then he almost swallows his tongue when she bends backwards into a perfect bridge before lifting herself into a handstand, damn she was strong and deliciously flexible. Looking her in the eye was going to be even more difficult now.
His heckles raise when he sees another man approaching her suddenly, a Black man who seems way too familiar with his Cha-young based on the way they both grin and invade the others space. He sneers as he watches them whisper and grin at each other, who was this guy and why were they so close? He releases a sigh of relief when the man finally backs up, going to the front of the room before pressing a button and light soothing music begins to play.
He must be the instructor then. Wonderful. He prays that was the end of the unnecessary touching and standing too close to his lawyer. He doesn't want to have to make a scene.
It isn't the end. Not by a long shot.
The instructor who had introduced himself as Sean easily walked around, stopping every once in a while to correct someone or praise them for having good form. The ladies would preen and thank him and that was it, he would nod before moving on.
Cha-young was the only exception to this rule.
He watches mesmerized as the limber lawyer bends herself into a graceful pose that resembles a swan and he can't fight the images that start flashing in his mind of them in bed, her twisting around him with pieces of cloth. Tying him up and showing him just how flexible she is all night long until they both sore and sated.
When she suddenly releases the cloth and starts tumbling to the ground he finds himself jumping into action shoving the fantasy to the crevice of his mind, legs already moving to catch her before she saves herself with her ankles, her body swinging freely with her face only inches from the floor. His heart skips a beat before it starts chugging along again.
Why was she always worrying him?
"That was perfect Cha-young! You've finally let go of your fear of falling!" Sean praises her walking over and patting her legs, but he doesn't let go after the quick touch. He keeps those grabby hands on her thigh and helps her back up onto the cloth, he thinks that will be the end of it. He's wrong.
He moves her body into a new pose with the cloth wrapped around her shoulder and he glares when a hand runs down her back precariously close to her bottom before rolling back up. He pushes her gently on the cloth harness and she laughs gleefully before she whispers something to the instructor, it's hard to read her lips from this distance but he can make out, "with me."
He understands what she asked for when Sean nods and moves into position.
Sean wraps his arms around the same cloth and suddenly lifts himself off the ground, his face level with her groin and he wants to go over and rip the cloth from the ceiling and strangle the man with it. Then Sean pulls himself up and Cha-young slides out of her seated position, grabbing the cloth too until they're face to face and spinning in lazy hypnotic circles. They both have huge grins on their faces as they move together in perfect harmony, the last straw comes when she wraps her legs around his waist and their bodies are pressed together- he sees blazing red and disconcerting white and then finally pitch black.
He's fleeing before he's even aware of it. Bounding down the stairs, two steps at a time then shoving the entrance door open and letting the surge of cool air ease his anger. If he stayed another second the instructor would be dangling out the window much like that thug before except he wasn't sure if he would be able to pull him back up.
Why was he so anger? She'd looked fine, happy even. She clearly wasn't being taken advantage of. But his rage is bursting at the seams and he jolts when a hand suddenly grips his wrist. Instinctively he turns grabbing the person and slamming them into the nearby wall.
Cha-young looks up at him, face flushed and sweaty.
That will also be burned into his retina.
"You should know better than to sneak up on me." He warns taking deep breaths to suppress some of the frustration he feels looking at her, the memory still fresh in his mind.
"What's wrong with you?" She counters bringing her hands to his shoulders rubbing in a calming motion, "You look pissed. Did something happen?"
He watches her for a second, taking her in seemingly harmless question and recalls her legs wrapped around another man who wasn't him and he wants to punch that fucking handsy instructor right in his smug fac--
Wait.
She was smiling. No, smirking. Right up at him like she knew everything that was racing through his head.
He'd been played.
"Did you have fun?" He asks voice laced with snarkiness and he shoves her harder into the wall, red hot fury brewing in the pit of his stomach. She knew that he was part of the mafia but still acted like this. Did she not have any sense of self preservation?
"Were you jealous?" She asks in a ostentatiously cutesy voice like this is all a hilarious joke and he wants to kiss that damn smug look right off her face. No one has ever dared to treat him like this, acted like he was a joke.
She's playing with fire and he's not opposed to burning her up.
"Do you still think you have the upper hand right now?" He looms over her pushing his pelvis into her and she squeaks at the hardness that pokes into her. To his surprise she eagerly presses back, pulling him in by his waist until they are flushed chest to chest. He doesn't know if an upper hand exists anymore.
"Yes. I do, getting to see you jealous was the highlight of my day. Cute little jealous mafia lawyer."
He snarls at her feeling stupid because of how easily she can play him, and without thinking he wraps his arms around her.
"You looked really cozy with him."
She sniffs before pouting at him, "Yeah and you didn't fight for me at all. Where were the death threats and cold glares? Sean would have pissed his pants." Her giggles only make him angrier because she's seen through him all along.
He stares at her blankly before throwing caution to the wind and leaning down to capture her tempting lips, he runs a hand through her ponytail tugging her head closer to him and she moves easily with him standing on her tiptoes. He closes his eyes ready to put himself out of his misery when he feels a finger in his lips, he blinks his eyes open staring at her perplexed and a bit offended.
"What?"
"Are you staying in Korea?" She talks over him, her finger firm on his mouth.
They both stare at each other and her question spins in his busy mind, thoughts too full of her seductive moves earlier and how badly he wanted to destroy anyone who dared to look at her. He doesn't know why that question is coming up now, at this particular moment when he just wants to kiss her breathless. They can leave the rational thoughts for later, right now there should be more frenzied kissing. But when he tries to push her finger away she grabs his face hard, adamant.
He stares at her and finally he sees the chinks in her armor, gone is the overly confident Cha-young that he's so used to seeing and there's something softer in that stead, the vulnerability that always shrouds over her eyes when they have this reoccurring conversation is back and it leaves him feeling cornered as it always does.
He can't answer that question. The answer should be easy and it had been before her. He was going to take his gold and get the fuck out of this God forsaken country.
That had been the plan pre: Cha-young.
Now that plan was muddled and he could admit that he was jealous of other men stealing her away from him, at least to himself. Could admit that he wanted to wreck her completely, have her screaming in his bed those nimble limbs wrapped around him as he thrust into her over and over and over. But he wasn't ready to admit that he might feel something more than just intense attraction to her. That she had changed all his plans and made him consider settling down, with her. It was insane, he barely knew her and they weren't even in a relationship.
"No. I told you, I'm leaving."
He's a coward. He can admit that too.
She sends him a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes before ducking under his arms.
"Then leave and don't confuse me. I'm not yours to get jealous over. I'll see you Monday."
She doesn't look back, walking straight to her car and speeding away without checking any of her mirrors as she's wont to do despite him constantly reprimanding her for it, he's certain she's over the speed limit.
He punches the wall with a yell, the pain in his fist nothing compared to the pain in his chest. It was a huge mistake coming back here.

hi hi i heard you like chief kim and i'm here to get all the intel on why it's a good drama 😊 and what you love about park jae bum's other dramas 😊 pls let me know if there's romance bc that's the oxygen i breathe when i watch a show 💕
Hello!!! Thank you for asking me about Chief Kim!!!! I can go on about it for ages lol. This got a bit long so i’m putting it under a cut
Chief Kim (aka Good Manager) is a comedy office drama with 20 eps, and it aired in 2017. There isn’t a main romance plotline, but don’t let that put you off! It’s an incredible drama in so many ways. (tho there is a subtle romance side plot, but it doesn’t involve the main character and it’s never the main focus, though it is cute). It does feature a bromance that was so great that the two actors literally won an award for it tho lol, so there’s also that!
In a way, the general premise is somewhat similar to Vincenzo in that it’s the main character and an unlikely team of others fighting a big corporation. The comedic tone is also more or less the same. The drama follows Kim Seong Ryong (the titular Chief Kim, played by Namgoong Min), a man with a talent for handling numbers who goes from running a seedy accounting firm to quite accidentally becoming a champion of employees rights in one of the biggest corporations in the country. He originally joins the company with the goal of embezzling a lot money and moving abroad, but he gets swept up in office politics surrounding high executives and the sinister goings on surrounding the position he was recruited for, as well as the shady things the higher-ups want him to do and the suspicion of the other members of his department. Eventually he starts to work alongside them to fight the corruption of the higher ups, and quickly becomes the bane of top management’s existence by being so incredibly annoying that they begin to regret hiring him.
It’s the kind of drama that really gets you to laugh, while still being incredibly heartwarming. The main character is so unashamedly funny, and the character dynamics are all so warm, and none of it ever seems forced. The first tag for the drama on MyDramaList is “character development”, and that says a lot! There’s so much growth that goes on for all the characters, even some of the villains! It’s especially funny because to begin with all the good things Kim Seong Ryeong does are completely by accident, and he’s annoyed but also pleased with all the attention it gets him. Over time he begins to own it, and begins to actively try to stand up to the corrupt people at the top of the company. The other highlight for me besides the humor is definitely the characters. From the eccentric main character, to the no-nonsense second in command in his department Yoon Ha Kyung, to the aggressive finance director Seo Yul who is always eating (one of my all time favourite characters, played by 2PM’s Junho), to the janitor lady who always roasts everyone, there isn’t a single dull character, whether good or bad. And Seo Yul gets one of the best character arcs I’ve ever seen in a kdrama. You get to watch the characters struggle and triumph, and you feel for them because their struggles feel so real, and the drama really gets you invested in them. You see the ways in which they fight to survive as normal working class citizens and you want them to win.
It differs from Vincenzo in that the main character isn’t considered evil and loses his less savoury traits over the course of the drama (his character arc is one of becoming a more upstanding citizen), and the message is one of fighting against corporate greed using the corporate system against itself in order to make things better for the average working citizen. But there’s the same plotting, and the same feeling of rooting for the protagonist team to win as you watch them plot and plan. I never rewatch things, but i’ve rewatched Chief Kim twice already and i’m looking forward to rewatching it again soon (just writing about it is making me want to rewatch it right now lol). It especially hits well for me because i love office dramas, and the humor and the bromance are just right. (Also, not entirely related, but it’s the first drama Kim Seonho was in!)
Another Park Jaebum drama i can definitely recommend is The Fiery Priest! It’s also a comedy action drama with 20 eps (released in 2019), and it follows Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil), a catholic priest with a real temper, as he works to solve the mystery surrounding the death of a senior priest. No romance there either, but it’s got the same humor as Chief Kim and Vincenzo, and the same overarching found family trope (that really shines for this one). It’s darker than Chief Kim, but not as dark as Vincenzo. The plot is very intriguing, and it’s the kind of drama you feel compelled to keep watching to see what happens next. And the host of characters in that drama is still one of my favourites to this day. Every character was incredibly written, and they all played vital roles in the overall story. Again, lots of character development all round, and great character arcs not just for the main character (even for a few of the villains!). Plus it was lovely to watch the various characters interact, get closer, and build relationships. Such an iconic squad. Not to mention how funny it is?? And the fight scenes??? In fact, I enjoyed it so much that when I checked Park Jaebum’s page on MyDramaList after watching it around June last year and saw Vincenzo as an upcoming project, I added it to my plan to watch list immediately even though there was only a single line of synopsis lol. It’s also got an absolute banger of a soundtrack!
When you think about it, all three (Chief Kim, TFP and Vincenzo) can be simplified to “guy with dubious past sets out to fight corruption and creates a great support circle in the process”. All three are dramas of finding people who care about you and are willing to fight alongside you, and fighting for your convictions/what you think is right. Each main character starts out as a somewhat solitary figure, and you get to watch as they each find people who are willing to fight alongside them and support them. What exactly those specific convictions are varies in each drama, but Park Jaebum writes the character development arcs incredibly each time, and the relationships between the characters are so real and so satisfying to watch. And yet the integrity of the main character in each drama is never compromised either, it’s shown that they can grow and become better without losing themselves. The growth is also in the way that they learn to work with and rely on others, because teamwork makes the dream work. And then to cap it all off he lets them have victories, and he makes it SO satisfying??? There are highs and there are lows, and you feel all of those right there with the characters, which makes the victories feel so so good. In each we see the ensemble cast get involved with the fight and the plotting, and we get to see all their epic plans and their execution, and the victories they win that build up over time. And it’s so satisfying to me! I love it a lot, just thinking about it is making me smile lol. It also shows how well humor and darker/more serious plotlines/events are balanced in the dramas, neither is compromised in favour of the other, but it always works so well that the humor never feels forced or out of place. As someone who doesn’t like overbearingly dark shows, I really appreciate that. They all give you lots to laugh at, while not losing any of the plot to the funny.
Of course there are differences, notably the romance, and the fact that Vincenzo is bad vs bad rather than good vs bad like the other two. They deal more with redemption (especially The Fiery Priest), but that works for the stories that are being told, and it’s very well executed.
It’s worth noting that Park Jaebum also wrote Good Doctor and 4 seasons of God’s Quiz. I haven’t checked those out yet, but I’ve heard good things about all of them. He also wrote Blood, I haven’t seen that one either but opinions seem to be split on how good it was. All of those are medical dramas (which is the reason I haven’t watched them lol, i can’t stand medical dramas) from before 2017, when he wrote Chief Kim. It seems he’s been on a roll since then, good for him and good for us lol. You can see everything he’s written on his MyDramaList page.
Overall I enjoyed the Park Jaebum dramas I have seen for first and foremost the comedy, but also for the warmth of the character relationships and for how well developed/written each character is. And I love how he balances the humor with more poignant/darker moments, I laughed a lot watching all three dramas, but I’ve cried over each of them as well. It’s a good balance to have, it gives you a good plot to be interested in, but doesn’t keep you stressed and sombre the whole way through. I’ve seen people say that Vincenzo wouldn’t be as good if it wasn’t so wacky, and I fully agree. It’s the same for both TFP and Chief Kim, and that balance is definitely what I appreciate most in Park Jaebum’s dramas. I know I will laugh, but I also know I will get an incredible plot and incredible characters, and that’s really important for me. Plus I know I can trust that there will be a good ending because the writer cares about his characters.
I definitely recommend checking out both TFP and Chief Kim after Vincenzo is done, especially since they’re so similar in terms of comedic tone and basic plot direction. If you ever get to watching either of them feel free to hmu to chat about it!! There’s lots of plot stuff that can be can discussed.
lol this got v long (i have lots to say about how much i love these dramas haha), but I hope it’s helpful!!!

Drama Review: Vincenzo
Welcome to my first drama review in 2021. In this opportunity I want to talk about the newest drama of Song Joong Ki, Vincenzo.
Tumblr media
Okay. From the first picture we can see that the drama is dark, too much horrible scene in drama, very heavy genre to watched. That's exactly my first impression and expectation for this drama.
During a visit to his motherland, a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer gives an unrivaled conglomerate a taste of its own medicine with a side of justice.
- source: IMDB
Even we can see from the synopsis, the drama will be dark and heavy topic will be carried in this drama. I was hesitated to start this drama, but honestly I tried this drama because of Joongki ha ha ha. Wow the drama really beyond my expectation. I love it so much! Honestly, I started to love it around Episode 4 and started to think this drama is really interesting. I think the introduction a little bit too slow to get into the main story but if I think again it is necessary to build the nice story in Vincenzo. But to be honest when I watched Episode 1-2 there are times that I think this drama is too long and made me sleepy, and when Episode 4 came damn!!!! I was like this is so cool??? this is my kind of drama?!?! I love the main character so much!!! Eventhough the story is actually serious and dark, I love how the writer and PD nim can wrapped this drama into an exciting drama, funny drama so the audience won't get bored watching this drama and won't get too serious and furious but enjoying this drama. They also make a few plot twist that will be revealed one by one so the audience will not get bored with the plot. I also love how they make Vincenzo have many different looks just because he had his hair different.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We can see how Vincenzo when he get serious and his Mafia mode is on like in the first picture. Then we can see Vincenzo in his relax activity with all his hair down, and how he looks when he carried a mission (psst if you know what a mission he must do while riding a horse ㅋㅋㅋㅋ). Sometimes Vincenzo can be cute too.
Tumblr media
This picture above show one of my favorite episode of Vincenzo. I was laughing hard watching this episode. This episode that makes me want to recommend this drama to everyone. Like this is a serious drama, but you can make this episode too. I think I will re-watch this episode😂. When talking about Vincenzo, we can't forget about the other support characters. I love this drama because they make every one of the character is important. They all have their stories and have important role in this drama. At firsr, Vincenzo is trying to get the gold that buried under the building so he must interact with Geumga Plaza residents, but in the end the most precious things that he got are not the gold, but a new family.
Tumblr media
I really love how every characters turned out have a secret and how writer nim packed their story to be unrevealed one by one with the plot twist and how it helped Vincenzo to meet their goals. When we talking about Vincenzo, we can't forget about our handsome and cool villains of course. First, we have Jang Han Seo that introduced first as Vincenzo and Cha Young first enemy, and turned back to become one of their squad in the end. Jang Han Seo really have the best character development in this drama.
Tumblr media
You'll be missed, the not-smart-but-in-the-end-a-smart-dongsaeng, Jang Han Seo.
Not like his brother, the brain of this villain things, Jang Han Seok played by Taecyeon. Taecyeon really portrayed his character really well. Started as an Cha Young intern, has a bubbly and kind personality, turned out he's an evil psycopath.
Tumblr media
He's really the worst. with his partner, Choi Myung Hee. Both are the worst. And I love how Vincenzo made them pay for all their sins. Please watch it if you want to know what happens to them!
Not just about the revenge, thanks to writer and PDnim, they also gave us a little romance in it. Really little romance, but I'm satisfied. Thanks too for the ending. It's funny when Vincenzo and Cha Young had to do a mission, and turned out they trapped in romance mission.
Tumblr media
This episode like a turnover and the audience didn't see this coming because of a mission ㅋㅋ But thanks mission, you got us this sweet scene.
Overall, I really love this drama and it becomes one of my favorite drama in 1st quarter of 2021. I give it 4.5 of 5 star for this drama! Really recommended if you need laughter and funny drama but also have a serious plot. If you love antihero character, you will love it!
Addio!

Written in Blood, chapter 9 (Cats fanfic, Tugger/Misto, NSFW)
New chapter of Written in Blood has been posted! You can read it here on Fanfiction.net or behind the cut.
(Be aware that this chapter is NSFW and contains Macavity/Misto sexual coercion/rape. If you need to skip it, go ahead and rejoin the story when the next chapter comes along.)
Macavity’s unreadable eyes were on him for a good, long time. When the Hidden Paw finally decided he’d built enough tension, he smirked knowingly and nodded.
“I’m very glad we could come to an agreement, Mistoffelees. Come inside.”
Mistoffelees balled his paws into tight fists, tried his best to keep them from shaking, and followed Macavity inside the house.
The house was different than Mistoffelees remembered. At least, he assumed it was. When he’d first been dragged here, he’d been too frightened and preoccupied to notice his surroundings, and on his way out, he’d been too busy laboring with his kittens to notice much of anything.
There was more activity now, that much he knew. Everywhere he turned there was a tom or a queen. Some slumbered in corners, others were wide awake and pacing the house. Others were huddled, talking, tousling. As they rounded a corner, Mistoffelees saw three toms and a queen savagely tucking into a meal of roast chicken. One of the toms was Bixbite. Mistoffelees shuddered in revulsion.
They passed by a sight that Mistoffelees recognized all too well: the large brown bureau covering the entrance to the basement. A miserable-looking tom stood by the bureau and watched him and Macavity walk by.
“I want to see her,” Mistoffelees said, his eyes fastened to the bureau. “I want to talk to her first. Let me see that she’s all right.”
Macavity’s pace came to a gradual halt. He turned on his heel and gave Mistoffelees another long, cold stare.
“All right,” he said after a few moments. “Don’t ever claim I’ve not been generous with you.”
He followed Macavity to the bureau and watched as he moved it aside with a simple flicker of his wrist, as though it weighed nothing.
Macavity turned to the brown tom. “Vincenzo, you will remain here. If anything comes up those stairs without me, slit its throat. Understood?”
“Y-yes boss,” Vincenzo nervously said. The tom’s fur was dull and his face looked haggard. Mistoffelees would have felt pity for him, if he hadn’t been one of the toms keeping his daughter locked away.
He followed Macavity down the flight of stairs, a sick feeling of familiarity in his gut. It was replaced by numbing relief when he spotted Mandragora, who stood strong in front of a nest of blankets. She was strong. Mistoffelees was proud.
Macavity stood by the bottom step, making it clear the visit was going to end the second he said so.
“Mandra,” Mistoffelees gasped. His heart broke as his daughter’s composure crumbled and she threw herself into her father’s arms.
“Dad!”
“I missed you, kitten!”
“Am I going home?”
He hugged her tighter. His eyes darted around the basement, making sure she had blankets, noting the food and water that had been brought to her. At least Macavity was keeping his word and caring for her.
“Soon, Mandra,” he said, taking her by the shoulders and pressing his forehead to hers. “I promise you’ll be out of here soon. I’m taking care of everything.”
She pulled back, alarmed. “Dad, you’re not… I know what he wants, you’re not going to…”
“I’m so sorry, Mandra. Please don’t hate me.”
“Don’t… please…” she said weakly. “I’ll find a way to escape on my own! Don’t do it, please…”
“Just trust me,” Mistoffelees said. He pushed the words out before he could give himself time to doubt them. “Trust that I know what I’m doing, okay?”
Mandra pressed her head to his again, defeated. “Oh dad. Don’t do this for me…”
“Come.”
Macavity’s curt voice made them both start. Mistoffelees drew his daughter into his arms, squeezing the breath out of her. Once he was out of here, he was going to hug her every single day. “I love you, Mandra. Keep yourself safe. You’ll be out of here soon.”
He let her slip from his arms, and as much as it tore his heart apart to do it, he turned and followed Macavity back up the stairs.
Mistoffelees waited awkwardly as Macavity spoke to the brown tom by the basement entrance, and made him move aside as he used magic to drag the bureau back into place. That was the sort of magic Mistoffelees could do now, he thought fumingly. He could probably destroy that damn bureau now with a bolt of energy. But there was no way he was bringing Macavity down with his little zaps.
Instructions given, Macavity fixed his gaze on the smaller tom. Mistoffelees braced himself, though for what he wasn’t quite sure. He supposed he expected Macavity to toss him over his shoulder and drag him to his bed while cackling, but the Hidden Paw merely cocked his head in the direction of the corridor and said, “Follow me.”
The masses of queens and toms thinned out as they walked down the corridor. It was a relief, as with every step Mistoffelees felt more and more as though the hench-cats knew exactly why he’d come here, what his purpose was in dutifully following Macavity to his bed.
When they got to Macavity’s room, Cesare stood by the entrance, smiling icily, his sister Eris grinning at his side. They stepped aside to let their master in and Cesare made a great show of sniffing the air lecherously as Mistoffelees walked by.
“No one interrupts us,” Macavity said to the twins, and the moment Mistoffelees was inside, he shut the door.
Mistoffelees wasn’t sure what to expect from Macavity’s sleeping area. He’d made himself a nest of cushions and blankets, nothing peculiar or ostentatious, and the room was otherwise bare. It looked clean and smelled of Macavity, and no one else. Mistoffelees wasn’t sure why that surprised him. Somehow he’d pictured Macavity dragging over and rutting a new cat every night.
It was strange to imagine someone like Macavity resting here, vulnerable in sleep. What did he think about before he drifted off? Did he ever relax, even for a moment? Did he think of books, of his favourite foods, did he practice his magic for the fun of it, did he enjoy music or dancing? What did he dream of?
Kittens, evidently, Mistoffelees mused. He dreamt of heirs, that much was obvious. He wondered if Macavity had ever been around kittens. Did he have siblings? Bast, he had parents, and he obviously had been a kitten himself once. What sort of child had Macavity been?
The Hidden Paw was busy circling the room, and when his little inspection was complete and he seemed satisfied, he came to a halt uncomfortably close to Mistoffelees. He swallowed; he’d forgotten how tall Macavity was.
“I’ve instructed Vincenzo, Eris, Cesare—everyone—that if any harm should come to me while you are here, your daughter will be killed. And it will not be quick.”
“Stop,” Mistoffelees said, his stomach churning at those sinister, casual words.
“It’s reality,” Macavity said cryptically. “I don’t care for violence. But I certainly understand the need for it.”
Mistoffelees scoffed. “You have a strange way of showing you don’t care for violence.”
He wondered if the comment crossed a line, but Macavity grinned. “All a means to an end, Mistoffelees. When this is over, we’ll get both what we want.”
“Do I have to stay here with you until the kittens are born?” Mistoffelees asked curtly.
“No,” Macavity said. Mistoffelees blinked; that was not the answer he expected. “You may return to your junkyard, so long as you keep my kittens healthy and come here when the time comes to bear them.”
“Are you also going to let Mandra go the moment we’re done here?”
Macavity’s grin widened. “Well that would be quite foolish of me, wouldn’t it? Do you think I would risk any harm to my kittens, after you get what you want? No, your runt will stay with me until this litter is born and brought to me, alive and healthy.”
Mistoffelees started. What did Macavity mean by any harm, specifically? He swallowed hard, and said, “Then… you need to know something.”
Macavity gave him an impassive look.
“I was pregnant a second time, but I miscarried the kittens a little under a year ago.”
“Miscarried,” Macavity said evenly.
He couldn’t tell if Macavity was simply repeating the point, or if he didn’t know what the term meant. “I lost them.  They died inside me. I-I don’t know what caused it, it just happened. So… so if I miscarry your kittens through no fault of my own, what then…?”
Macavity stared at him for a few long minutes. “Then you will return to me, and we will repeat this little ritual until you have given me my heirs.”
Mistoffelees nodded numbly. This was going to happen, then. He stood stiffly, ready for the ordeal to begin, and flinched when Macavity raised a paw. There came no blow, no slap, no move to throw him across the room and onto the bed. Instead, Macavity cupped his jaw, lifting it slightly, and buried his nose in the exposed neck.
Macavity had been obsessed with his scent before and it seemed it was still the case. Clenching his paws, Mistoffelees let the other cat have his way, inhaling his scent, running a rough tongue along the delicate curve of his neck. If this worked to get it all done faster, then so be it. Mistoffelees stole a downward glance and nervously noticed that Macavity’s length was slowly thickening.
So far it was all quite gentle, and Mistoffelees wasn’t sure what to make of it. Macavity’s paw pressed against Mistoffelees’ chest, inadvertently palming a nipple, and Mistoffelees couldn’t help the shudder that ran through his body. Any hope that Macavity hadn’t noticed the reaction was gone as he lifted his head from Mistoffelees’ neck and gave him a curious, amused look.
Mistoffelees held his breath. To his dismay, Macavity dragged his paw against his nipple, rolling it beneath the thick pad of his thumb. His efforts to hold his reaction in only served to make his inevitable moan louder. He pulled his body away on instinct and realized with horror that he was getting excited.
With a wicked grin, Macavity rolled the nipple one last time and reached down to give him a firm squeeze, sharp burning eyes boring into his the whole way. “No, stop--” Mistoffelees gasped, before realizing it was rather futile to protest. He’d already given his consent, even if it was under duress.
Macavity chuckled knowingly. “Get on the bed.”
Swallowing hard and fighting the urge to cup his paws in front of himself, Mistoffelees obeyed and padded over the bed, crawling over the blankets. He hesitated, balancing on all fours, before deciding he’d rather stick with the undignified position and avoid having to see too much of Macavity. He pressed his cheek to the blankets, his stomach churning anew, and lifted his rear in the air, flicking his tail out of the way.
The blankets shifted as Macavity crawled behind him. There were only two sounds in the room: Mistoffelees’ ragged, nervous breaths, and the soft wet sound of Macavity stroking himself, preparing himself for what was to come. Mistoffelees pressed his face harder to the blankets, doing his damnest to block out everything—the scent of Macavity on the blankets, the sounds of Macavity touching himself, the inevitable discomfort of what was to come.
He nearly jumped and yelped as Macavity placed his paws on his rear, touching him a little tentatively. Mistoffelees wasn’t sure what to make of it; the touch was a little hesitant, squeezing his rear, stroking his lower back. It wasn’t unpleasant, and perhaps that was exactly what made it so disturbing.
Macavity’s paws wandered over to his hips, and suddenly Mistoffelees was self-conscious about Macavity’s hands on his body. No tom but Tugger had ever touched him, and no tom but Tugger knew the imperfections of his body. Macavity’s paws roamed until they pressed against the soft, loose skin of the smaller tom’s belly.
Mistoffelees shuddered and tried to squirm away, a difficult task when squirming away from the paws made his buttocks bump against Macavity’s erection. The thing already felt huge and violating.
Macavity’s paws fondled his stomach for a few more moments before moving lower and briefly stroking the tux’s softening erection. The touch wasn’t enough to arouse him and Macavity didn’t seem to care, anchoring one paw in Mistoffelees’ hip while the other paw slid off his body.
He knew was what coming. He tensed, face buried in the blankets, trying to block out the reality of Macavity shifting just a little bit closer, erection in paw, until the thing was relentlessly pressing at his entrance.
Mistoffelees bit the blankets and whimpered, as the pressure quickly became a sharp spike of pain. Macavity pressed all the way in, tightening his hold on Mistoffelees’ hips, and pulled back out, leaving a fiery pain behind.
Relax. Bast, just relax! Mistoffelees stifled a groan of pain and tried to force his shaking lungs to draw in a slow breath, trying to will his tense muscles to relax a bit, to give himself a little bit of relief until this was done. He hoped Macavity wasn’t a prodigious lover; the sooner he spent himself inside Mistoffelees’ body, the better.
The thrusts became harder, faster, and Mistoffelees gave up on trying to relax, bunching the blankets tightly in his claws, his jaw clenched so tight his teeth felt ready to crack.
He almost missed it when Macavity spoke.  “You – enjoyed it when you made your first litter?”
“What?” Mistoffelees hissed. What kind of question was that?
And suddenly it dawned on him. Macavity wanted him to conceive successfully, and that meant recreating all elements that may have been responsible for his previous pregnancies. Magic, of course, along with the Jellicle Moon, were huge factors. But something told him the magic here was strong enough to make this happen without any outside help.
He thought about lying, because he didn’t want to deal with the shame of having an orgasm in Macavity’s presence, but maybe it had been a factor the other times, and he had to grudgingly admit that he did want this to be a successful mating.
“Oh…” he ground out, wincing in discomfort. Macavity was big, about as big as Tugger, but his thrusts were rough and careless. “Yes, I… I did.”
“What will it take for you to enjoy it?” Macavity asked through halting breaths. It was strange, Mistoffelees thought, to hear Macavity in such a borderline-vulnerable state. But he had no allusions; Macavity was not vulnerable, ever.
He was only half-hard, an instinctive reaction more than anything. Macavity wouldn’t be pleased until he came, so he would have to work at it somehow.
Mistoffelees unlatched one tense paw from the blanket and, struggling for balance with Macavity still thrusting at him, slid the fingers into his mouth to moisten them before reaching down to caress his nipples.
The contact made him gasp, and a few rolls and pinches did convince his member to reluctantly harden, but the whole situation soon made any sensation of pleasure turn to pain. Mistoffelees groaned in frustration and reached for his erection, pumping it a few times, though he had to stop both because it wasn’t working, and because Macavity’s thrusts were knocking him off-balance.
He clenched his claws back into the blanket and, grudgingly, resorted to his final option.
“Bite me,” Mistoffelees said in a weak voice. “Bite my scruff.”
Macavity chuckled, maybe a little incredulously, but obeyed the instruction, slowing his pace for a moment. Mistoffelees felt intense heat all along his back as Macavity leaned over him, fastening his teeth into his scruff and pulling hard.
The bite was harder than anything Tugger had ever attempted. To Mistoffelees’ horror, he reacted more intensely as well, unable to hold back a loud groan as his body shuddered with excitement. Macavity’s teeth stopped shy of breaking the skin. He straightened up, forcing Mistoffelees to straighten with him. With his teeth in the smaller tom’s scruff and his paws clasping his hips, Macavity resumed his pace.
This felt dirty. More so than being fondled and penetrated, this felt like a violation, because this was something he’d discovered with Tugger, something that gave him so much pleasure, and to have another cat do it to him made him feel sullied.
Still, it was working, and as he felt Macavity’s thrust become short and erratic, the bigger cat’s breaths hot and heavy against his scruff, Mistoffelees took his erection in his paw again and stroked, trying to concentrate hard enough to climax. He finally managed a brief, unpleasant orgasm, spilling himself onto the blanket and tightening despite himself around Macavity’s length.
Evidently his orgasm was all Macavity had been waiting for. Two more hard thrusts and the Hidden Paw was done, jerking soundlessly as Mistoffelees felt the burning seed spreading inside him.
It took a few long, painful minutes before Macavity finally pulled out of him, leaving a burning ache behind. Bit by bit Mistoffelees relaxed, unclenching his paws, relaxing his jaw, getting breath back into cramped lungs. His scruff felt sore and the less said about his rear, the better.
He let Macavity get to his feet, clean himself off, do whatever he wanted before Mistoffelees turned around to face him. It was only when the sound of movement stopped and Macavity curtly said “Rise” that he moved, gingerly crawling off the blankets and back onto his feet.
He felt weak, shaky, sick. Macavity looked poised, not a strand of fur out of place. He met Macavity’s eyes and the returned gaze was impassive. “How long until you know?”
Mistoffelees drew in a shaky breath. “Soon. Within the week.”
“I am letting you return to your junkyard as a favour. I expect you to return here the moment you know. You will either prove to me that you are carrying my kittens, or we will repeat what we’ve just done until you do. Am I clear?”
“Yes.”
No more needed to be said, and Macavity headed to the door, nodding to Eris and Cesare as he left. It wasn’t clear if Mistoffelees was being left to his own devices to leave the house and return home, but it hardly mattered at this point. There was nothing he could do in a house surrounded by hench-cats and magic.
But still…
But still, he tried. Macavity and the twins were gone. Mistoffelees closed his eyes, pictured the basement, pictured Mandragora, and gathered his energy to teleport.
For a moment, there was no resistance, and Mistoffelees felt the familiar sideways pitch as his magic prepared to bend space and bring him to his destination. But before his body could leave the room, a force like a full-body slap nearly sent him stumbling onto his arse.
Mistoffelees whimpered, placing his paws on his knees and struggling for breath. Of course Macavity would have wards in place to prevent him from swooping in and teleporting Mandra away. Of course he’d have thought of everything. Damn him.
Tears prickled at his eyes as he hurried out of Macavity’s room, past the queens and toms littering the house. He saw no sign of Macavity.
The moment he was outside, Mistoffelees practically ran to the only place in Elmsmere Way that made him feel safe, propelling his aching body until he’d reached the house where he’d given birth to his kittens, leaping in through the broken window.
Once inside, he tongue-bathed himself to remove Macavity’s scent until he retched and when he was done, fell to all fours on the cold floor of the room.
He stared at his paws, tensely clenching against the floor, until he realized the darkness of the room had been joined by a faint, silvery glow.
Mistoffelees squeezed his eyes shut, dangerously close to tears. When he opened them again, the sparkling had reached his arms, tiny dots of magical light illuminating his black fur, heralding something he’d planned, but did not want.
It was done.

han seo headcanons (part two)
i have exams right after vincenzo ends (a gov and physics on monday actually and uh spoilers: i dont know anything) but instead of studying i wrote this because i needed it, emotionally and spiritually.

tw: mentions of abuse
as han-seo gets closer to jipuragi, he also spends more time at the plaza. at first, they were weary, with all the residents pulling their signature 'we're creepy af' routine.
it was fair, he thought. he knew who his brother was and what he had done to these residents. the losses they suffered at his brother and inadvertently by his hands.
but still, the way they looked at him when he was in the room. well more like the way they didn't look. for the first two weeks, he moved around like a ghost, ignored by the plaza residents because they assumed he was like him.
slowly enough, they warmed up to his presence, not quite accepting but not quite ignoring him either. and that was good enough with him
he knew from experience that it was better to be a ghost anyways
but everyday, as he would enter the plaza, he would be drawn to the snack bar, watching as Hee-Soo (the snack bar lady) would cook
you see, han-seo was a mama's boy growing up. as a child, his father was too busy in his office, working late with no time to spare for his "illegitimate" child.
not to mention, the glare and cuts han-seok would deal him if he saw han seo around his father. it was always han seok's father, not han-seo's
his mother would place him on the counter as she cooked, han seo crowned with a fake chef's hat as he kicked his legs on the counter, his heels hitting the cabinets underneath.
"han-seo dear, taste this for me won't you?" she would ask, the stress washing away from his mother's face as she smiled kindly at him, her hair silky smooth and the warmth of her voice comforting
he'd smile at his mother as her hands would cup his face and push his hair back, and for a moment, everything in him would wash away as he saw her smile back
"you have her smile" han-seok would tell him sometimes. "i want to carve it off your face, as a disgusting reminder of what you are"
he shuddered, suddenly, thinking of the various cruelties han seok would inflict on his mother. but in this sudden movement, his hand hit the glass of the store and he froze.
hee-soo's head swiveled in his direction, at first just staring. then, as if she was luring a scared animal, she asked "would you like to come in?"
he was still frozen, his breath stuck in his throat as he stuttered out a yes and shuffled his way in
he stayed in the corner at first, stretching to see what she was cooking on the stove, his hands clutching at his little suitcase he carries around when he works from jipuragi
"come closer" she asked him in a softer tone, looking over at him as she stirred the delicious food.
he stepped closer tentatively, looking over what she was making, as they shared a comfortable silence and he clutched his suitcase in both hands, making sure not to fidget or move, lest she turns him away
as he smelled the delicious aroma of the food, he was flooded with the memories of his mother, the way she would envelop him in her arms when he had a nightmare, the way she would ruffle his hair when he came back from the playground, how her warmth and love made up for everything he was dealt by his father and brother
when he snapped back into the moment, she outstretched a small spoon towards him to taste, and his eyes blurred with tears as he accepted it and it tasted just like his mother's
"it tastes amazing!" he told her, a smile stretching across his face as he tried hard not to breakdown in front of her, in front of the first act of kindness he'd received from them
after that, he always found his way back to the snack bar every morning, watching as she would make dishes for the other residents and getting prepared for the customers in the morning
one late night, while wandering the halls of the plaza on his break time when noticed a bright white light shining in a pitch dark room
deciding to be brave, he stepped in when he was jumpscared by a figure with a grotesque mask on his face
obviously, he did what any sensible man would do and let out the highest pitched scream as he flung his arms out to defend himself
"hyung, stop, stop, it's me, it's young-ho, im just putting on make up for my website" the figure spoke from his seat, the white light not making things anymore flattering.
next thing he knew, han-seo was waking up on the floor, the lights turned on and a blanket around him as a couple residents shuffled around him
"he's up!" young-ho had shouted, and his mother broke through to ask if he was okay, if he felt alright
and for the first time in a long time, he felt the same love enveloping him that he had felt in his childhood
he laughed it off with them, joking about how scary young-ho looked in the harsh light
(on a side note, he was particularly satisfied that a particular pianist wasn't there that night)
as he spent more time with the residents, it was clear that his love language was gift giving
he would buy hee-soo the best pans to cook in, and stock her pantry with the best ingredients.
one day, he shows up to the plaza lugging out huge black bags, calling out for young-ho
apparently he was carrying around huge lighting equipment for young ho to use in his videos
they sat together that whole day, learning how to put it together
on mother's day, he bought two bouquets full of flowers. he visited his mother and spent time with her, telling her about the family he had found, the love they had given him and telling her not to worry
he had nervously walked around the plaza 6 times, before the pretty pianist had stopped him in his tracks, scaring the shit out of him and stealing his breath
"give it to her okay? you should give them to her." she looked up at him with doe eyes, the clip in her hair shining in the light.
her hair was so smooth, he felt like running his hands through and seeing just how silky it was
she said nothing else to him, and walked off and he was stuck in his place before remember how to breathe and function
before he lost the courage, he ran up the stairs to her, to visit the snack bar and thrust the flowers into hee-soo's hands as he stared down at the floor
"thank you. for showing me kindness and love that i haven't had in a long time" he mumbled out, not wanting to see the rejection coming
but instead all he felt were hee-soo's arms wrapping around him, pulling him into a warm hug
"thank you, han-seo" she had smiled up at him, her eyes warm and he knew, that he could never let go of this family he had here.
to be continued...
