I consider my approach to GW2 canon ‘maliciously compliant’ because it’s always technically PLAUSIBLE, but did it happen? no. of course not. but COULD it have by using the building blocks provided in the game’s lore? yes, in theory.
Anet gave us the incredible gift of a Tyrian multiverse via WvW Mists lore and it allows for SO much crazy unhinged nonsense while still remaining ‘plausible’ through the loosest technicality of all time.

Another installment of random Sonic Headcanons
Sonic doesn't like buttercream frosting, Tails doesn't like whipped frosting, and Knuckles always wipes 90% of the frosting off his cake
When Tails is doing something, whether it's working in his lab or just making dinner, Sonic will shadow box the air behind him. He stops when Tails turns around to look at him, but the fox very much knows that Sonic is throwing fake punches at him lol
Tails, Cream, and Charmy play animal crossing (or the Sonic equivalent lol) together
Matter of fact, I think like all the characters play video games together. I'm sure they have different types of video games they like (I can see Sonic playing animal crossing but Jet? Not so much) but it's not odd for them to enter an online lobby
Tails loves crunchy foods
Espio once asked Vector to death roll him to "see if his body could take it".... Vector obviously said no
I don't think any of the cast really feel famous, except for maybe the Babylon Rogues bc they're (probably) sports stars

I think for a while he was too prideful to write things down or set reminders because heaven forbid the ultimate lifeform needs help. This led to Shadow forgetting where his own place was and refusing to ask how to get there
Maybe this is my new explanation for why Shadow is always in caves and is never shown in a house of his own, instead of the actual explanation lol
Sonic often talks to Gaia/Chip when he's alone, Tails caught him a few times and has also picked up the habit, though he does talk to him less than Sonic does
Charmy doesn't like bananas
I've said this before in this post about shadows development, but I think he sheds a lot. Hedgehogs aren't actually supposed to lose quills unless they're super stressed, but because Shadow's DNA is only partially Mobian Hedgehog, a few things are off

Right so what's up with MotoGP omegaverse?
so, this should be the moment where i admit i don't even remember half of the guys competing because i started after the end of the season and i laser-focused on the marquez brothers and the italian guys. Anyway, I'm not going to give you a list of who i think is what, because we're here to talk about DYNAMICS. thoughts under the cut because i got a bit ranty.
So, motorsports are an hypermasculine enviroment, every single one of them. Think how bad it gets when you are riding death machines at 200kph that will try to kill you at every turn. You have to be strong you have to be aggresive you have to be a real man you have to fuck a lot (i'm not sure how this translates to being able to ride motorcycles but i also never claimed to be in the head of somebody really stupid) = you have to be an alpha. So of course for the longest time only alphas where considered strong enough to ride properly. Betas? too weak, not aggressive enough. Omegas? they can hold the umbrellas, maximum. They are too submissive, they will never overtake an alpha, they will lay down and show their neck to be mated right then and there when the alphas should do their real manly racingTM.
This of course doesn't take in account the fact that kids will start riding minibikes waaayyy before showing their second gender (in their puberty) so. Beta riders are most definitely there, and once stereotypes around omegas start to subside in the family sphere (thank you omega activists) and parents allow their omega kids to continue racing, omegas are there too.
Which doesn't mean that betas and omegas (in particular the latter) aren't treated horribly and always underestimated. A couple of omega champions (Jorge and Marc) change a bit the perspective, but the rosquez divorce sets everything back to 50 years. (No, i'm joking. Mostly. Just know that the rosquez divorce here is bad. really bad) Still, in the paddock there isn't much equality: alphas are almost always half of the grid, if not more, followed in numbers by betas and then omegas.
Are relationships between riders incentivized? OF COURSE NAWT, because those evil cunning omegas will try to make the big, strong alphas loose their focus from the championships with their evil ways. And betas are not even considered, because a true alpha rider will only fuck a traditional, stay-at-home omega that will raise their pups while he throws himself down the circuits at 200kph on the other side of the world. (you know, like true alphas do). And of course omegas are expected to not get pregnant because they're an investiment for the team and the least they can do is not getting a pup bred inside them and ruin the championship for everyone. As you might imagine, omegas get offered waayyy less contracts than alphas and betas.
I said before that i wasn't going to say who's what because i've put down like, maybe five riders, but i changed my mind, so.
Jorge is an omega, as per @whatwepostintheshadows amazing post, as is Marc. Vale is an alpha, more on those two here. Dani i'm not really sure, because I can see him both as an alpha and a beta, always criticized for not being alpha enough/not agressive/strong enough. Alex is probably a beta. Enea is probably an alpha (is this purely based on his nickname being "la bestia"? maybe. I'm open to discussions about him). And for the academy, I'm sure of pecco being a beta, but i'm not sure about anybody else.

I saw the same post you kind of, alleged? (Unsure if it's the correct word) and man oh man, the way it was written felt extremely accusatory for no reason. Like, i have my own opinions about the bigotry in the CR fandom, but it is in no way more or less present than almost any other fandom
Im paraphrasing but it felt like they were saying "hey critters, just so you know this story has PoC and it's very important to PoC (not me of course cause im white) so be cautious and respectful" like ok? And?? (I'm aware that this is ofc how i interpreted the post, and may not be the true intentions of OP)

Yeah it’s…something. Like, I am also white and so I don’t feel comfortable actually going on OP’s post to say “uh what the fuck,” but like, racism in actual play fandom is a very valid topic to explore, but “not watching the original series for a miniseries in which there were black characters” is an entirely neutral choice, particularly if the miniseries has twice as many actors of color (and twice as many black actors) in it as the original.
Anyway it fucking sucks. It co-opts social justice language/the concept of anti-racism but makes it about the white OP's apprehension about a different DM coming into a world they like. I also find that D20 fans have been pretty fucking obnoxious about "I just wonder if CR fans/fans of Matt will understand the rich lore" while not actually providing any tools to understand that lore other than watching A Crown of Candy. Like...obviously I have my biases as a CR wiki editor but the D20 wiki is in shambles. I've gone there to get Neverafter summaries because I'm still struggling to get through that season but do want to know what happens, and there's nothing. If all this whiny, hostile handwringing about how CR fans won't know the lore were replaced by a few hours of cleaning up D20 fan-made resources so they could learn the lore? That would do a thousand times more good. But it's not about that; it's pure snobbery. And here's the thing: it doesn't matter if people do know the lore. It's none of anyone's fucking business what other people watch, and to throw this into the CR main tag acting like people who are fans of CR can't pick up on lore is laughably stupid and incredibly obnoxious but also, if they can't? Why the fuck should that bother an existing D20 fan?
I love ACOC! I do think that if you have the time to watch it, it's a great watch and I highly recommend it! But presumably Brennan and Matt have worked together to set the scene for new viewers. And most importantly, it is not actually problematic for people to come in to the series cold, and it's immensely gross of a white person to act like it is when this is really entirely about their own feelings.
[This is a tangent but I have many thoughts about how to be a welcoming fan to new fans, mostly boiling down to "shut the fuck up and let them enjoy themselves without trying to meddle in the business of strangers simply because they like what you like." Anyway it's interesting bc I find CR fans err in the other direction of trying to be too welcoming in a way I find offputting, and glossing over the fact that yeah actually there is a lot of lore floating around that might be worth checking out if you are so inclined; both approaches suck.]

Request Guidelines and Rules
Important Things to Note:
This blog is just one of my hobbies that I do for fun in my free time, and I make these gifs for free - of course I am going to prioritize getting requests done in a timely manner, but I might also just chill and take an extra day or three to finish.
Rest assured I'll always communicate if, for whatever reason, life decides that I need to put gifmaking/requests on hold for a few days or longer. Same goes for when I'm back up and running - I will not reopen requests until all previous accepted slots are filled.
Guidelines:
Send requests through the askbox only, please. I won't consider requests made through comments/dms.
I'd very much appreciate some kind of interaction on a completed request just to know that my work was acknowledged, though that's not strictly required. Still, a like or a reblog or even a quick "thanks!" on anon can go a long way :]
If your request is simple in nature, don't be shy to just send it as it is.
That being said, the more specific, the better! I can get closer to your vision with the more details you can provide, otherwise I'll fill any gaps myself as I see fit.
EXAMPLE: "can i request a set of the scene where niffty stabs adam in episode 8?"
Simple request, but easily doable - in cases like this it would be entirely up to me on certain aspects like how many gifs I'll end up doing, which parts of the entire scene I show, if I add subtitles or not, etc.
Here is an example of a request for the same scene, but with more detail:
EXAMPLE: "request: a set of the scene when niffty is stabbing adam while laughing maniacally (starting from 16:32) and ending when lute shouts "no!" with subtitles? thank you!"
Also just as doable, and now I have clear instruction on what exactly to include. Heck, you can even throw in details like, idk, "including vox's reaction"/"can you take out vox's reaction though?"
If you're asking for a set focused on a certain character(s)/character closeup set (eg: adam, angel dust), you can specify how many gifs you'd like: The minimal I'll do is 2, with a maximum of 8. Otherwise I'll do 4 by default.
My minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 applies to all requests, as of now.
Rules:
Repeating this only once more: I will only consider requests made through the askbox.
Keep your request contained in a single ask. I will not fill a request if it is split between two or more asks, so get those details all within the character limit.
For my personal comfort, I'm asking that you don't request gifsets or interact with me directly (ask, dm, @) if you're a minor (also like what are you doing here? lol). As I state in my bio, I'm an adult posting about an adult show that very much has adult themes prevalent in it so like it's not rocket science as to why the idea of talking to a minor about this show is Fucking Weird, right?
That being said I'm not anyone's parent and I'm not gonna spend hours combing through every single blog that sends in a request off anon looking for age confirmation but also like, if I hover over your name and you have your age right there in your bio that is very much under 18, sorry but I'm gonna block you.
I will only decline requests privately - meaning, if you requested on anon and I need to decline for whatever reason, I'm afraid I won't be able to tell you why. I'll always state my reason for declining, and link you back to these rules if necessary.
I don't know how to put this eloquently but like, try not to go overboard with requests? I'm still pretty new at this and I don't know how to do a lot of those cool color effects/blending/layering stuff the actual good gifmakers can do lmao. If I feel like I don't have the ability to fulfill the request and/or feel that it would just take too long to complete I'll decline and state my reasons why + encourage that you send another request. I don't exactly see this being a real issue, but hey, just in case.
For personal comfort, I won't do requests that are specifically asking for shipping content - yes, even if I myself do ship it! I figured staying neutral is the easiest way to go about this. Chaggie would be the only exception since they're less of a ship in my eyes and more of just a canon couple whose relationship is an integral part of their own respective stories/the main plot as well.
Don't ask for ships, ask for source material instead. What do I mean by this? Instead of asking for content of the characters by their ship name and/or wording the requested interaction in a way that paints it in a romantic light, you can just ask for the scenes as they are.
Example of a request I won't do: "can you do a gifset of huskerdust moments/interactions from the beginning of episode 4 pls?"
I would decline this, but you can still get this exact scene filled if you word it like this instead:
Example of a request I will do: "can you do a set from the beginning of ep 4, when angel is flirting with husk and he tells him he sees right through his act?"
Much better. Yeah, I very much ship huskerdust myself, but I'd only take the request if it's worded in this way.
If you're wondering why the hell this is even a rule, it's for me, mostly. I don't like the idea of constantly declining requests of ship content for ships I'd be uncomfortable doing/denying myself making gifs of moments between characters I like in a context outside of shipping. I think this way keeps it fun for everyone. Humor me, yeah? I promise this is my only weird rule lmao.

Listen im not gonna say "i hope someone dies in a car explosion full of hammers" has like, the strongest high ground standing. I'm above that. So may you. But I am gonna say it highlights the double standards pretty well. Are we gonna pretend like half the site wasn't openly wishing for Trump or any sort of alt-right politician to die? Not even like in a cartoony way? Just straight up memes about preparing the crave rave if anyone went? Which was a lot more passionate and strongly motivated than this? I watch so many people get straight up nazis in their askbox. I see so many bigots remake blogs without a sweat if they're even deleted in the first place. Misinformation and racist memes abound. But this small thing gets someone and all their blogs nuked off the website? Okay. Sure. Yeah. That tracks.
Hell, the fact no one can even tag him now shows a special standard. Wdym none of us can blocked being mentioned by others but the specialist ceo can because he's getting flamed for his own double standards? And that's what all the outrage is about. It's the double standards. It's about how all these legitimately awful people still stick around because its not hard, but some random queer or otherwise marginalized person will get scrubbed off the face of the Earth because they were a little rude once. Or because they've done nothing at all. Remember when normal-horoscopes' blog got nuked for no fucking reason at all? Have no idea if that blog was ever restored. But man, all those posts unable to be searched for again.
And to be clear, I'm not surprised by this. In the slightest. When have ceo's ever reacted will to the people using their product not giving a shit about them? I may not know the entire story of who this trans women is and her history but like. But this part doesn't shock me. It sucks but its not surprising when Whatever Rich Ceo picks an enemy out of thin air and tries to drag them around as an example. It's happen so many times. I'm not shocked.
Nor does seeing the transphobia spike AGAIN because of it.
It's just exhausted that I set up myself here all comfy and everyone I follow is considering jumping ship again. I doubt I'll ever use any of the tumblr copycats. I got rid of my twitter. I've been putting off making an instagram for forever. If this goes assume your best chance is finding me on discord or by carrier pigeon. And ill be upset as hell because I love tumblr, it's my homebase, and I just set up my art blog here.
Yeah. So none of this is surprising. Disappointing, but not a surprise. You mean the website that regularly thinks any depiction of a queer person deserves a mature label with no ability to really appeal and fight against that, is being mean to a trans person?? Is the sky being blue also shocking??

Killian couldn't believe what he was watching. He could handle the loss of the magic bean, and even his third loss of the Jolly Roger. But the thought of Emma, his new bride- with the greasy pirate Black Beard- Black Beard was everything he'd tried to overcome in himself to become worthy of Emma- she deserved better than to spend even a moment with a sleazebag like him, let alone a night.
And yet, here she was, about to play a cards with a cheat so smooth, he could hold six aces and none would realize his deception.
Black Beard picked up the deck and began to shuffle, but Emma stopped him, placing her hand on the deck and partially on Black Beard's grubby hand.
"Who said anything about cards?" Emma asked. "Haven't you fellows ever played Davy Jones' Liar?"
Killian had never heard of such a game, and, apparently, neither had Black Beard.
"It's a dice game- they say Davy Jones' crew plays it on The Flying Dutchman. I learned how to play from Bootstrap Bill himself- one of few men to escape the grip of the locker."
The name "Bootstrap Bill" sounded familiar, and Killian recalled that it was the name of a character from those blasted pirate moving picture shows Emma'd made him watch.
Emma took ten dice from the side of the table, handed five to Black Beard and kept five for herself, then continued.
"A simple bluffing game- involving all the dice on the table, not just your own. Roll the dice; keep yours hidden. Call out how many there are of that number- of both yours and my dice- if I can raise your bluff, I will, and if you think you can raise that bluff, you can- but if at any point we think the other must be bluffing, we call them a 'liar' and show all the dice. Loser throws a die off to the side; last player with dice wins."
"You're on." Blackbeard said.
As panicked as Killian had been at the onset, he now realized he needed his poker face to hide his excitement. No matter how long he'd known Emma for, she always found a way to surprise him, to amaze him- and here was a bloody brilliant example. This game was all about bluffing and lying, and Emma, unbeknownst to Black Beard, had a sixth sense about lies.
Black Beard didn't stand a chance.

BEST EXPERIENCE: there’s been a lot of good ones but i look back fondly on the time i put out an rp ad for muses willing to be murdered and then did threads with each of the victims where i did just that. or the time a friend and i RP’d two muses that ended up as a couple and lived through multiple events together so there was a whole timeline going of their adventures. very cool.
RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: very little phases me, but one thing i find that makes RP hard is when your partner doesn’t leave something for you to pick up on/connect to, whether it’s a line of dialogue or a reference to the setting/event/thing you’re doing together, or a hint (in like body language or etc.) to your muse’s thoughts. i’m not a mindreader and i don’t want to godmod your muse, so throw me a bone when we chat! this rarely happens (only once in my RP career) and i’m good at making things up on the fly to compensate but yeah, RP is magical precisely because it’s a two-way street. insult my muse, laugh at her, dote on her, ignore her, whatever, it’s all good. i’ll have fun with you too, i promise.
FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: my smut sucks. fluff and angst it is. i also enjoy crack, leaning on the 4th wall, and dashes of psychological horror.
PLOTS OR MEMES: sadly i don’t think i’ve ever seen a plot to its end (besides with that one RP partner) but i still like them even if they’re incomplete. maybe i can try something in a future event? a lot of this stuff comes spontaneously. memes are always welcome, of course.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: doesn’t matter, but i try to match length. or sometimes my replies get longer/shorter during the course of a thread and that’s okay too. don’t feel obligated to match my length either, write what you feel is natural

okay so your fic 'romance' changed my life. i read that well into 2020 and it became a permanent fixture on my mind. it is easily my favorite fic maybe... ever
it had just the right tone and pacing. i felt like i was walking in these woods, slitting my own throat, and then watching my own corpse being defiled... in a very distant, almost kindly manner. i could just picture it all in my mind. you are still and waiting for the man of your dreams... i guess this is more of fanmail lol than anything else but hearing you're back made me want to say this
