Hard Defeat (Released May 2023)
Oh no, it seems like our underdog hero got punched into smithereens! Here's hope that Junk Warrior picks itself back from this pinch to show that arrogant dragon who's boss!
A new take on Junk Warrior, further working on my cel shading technique! Hope y'all enjoy it 😊

From season 2 of Symphogear onward, Katsumi Ono took over as director, having previously worked on my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! series, Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s. To pay homage to his time working on the latter, Hibiki had a scarf added to her Symphogear form and she performed the signature attack animation of one of the protagonist of 5D’s’ signature monsters, Junk Warrior.
So in honor of those facts and today being Hibiki’s birthday, I spent too much time on this stupid screenshot edit that will be amusing to nobody except me.

avatrice is peak wlw ship bc those two dumbasses lived a whole domestic life in the beautiful mountains training very closely to one another working at the same bar going home to the same one bedroom apartment probably sharing most of their belongings and having the most comfortable intimate touches ive ever seen yet they only finally just confessed their obvious feelings for each other when one is about to die

Junk Connector
My favorite part of this guy? The fact that you can tell which way his link arrows point just from his artwork. I haven't seen any other link monster make clever use of their design this way, and I'm wondering why it isn't more prevalent? It's really neat.
The junk archetype is funny, because the majority of the monsters don't even look like they're made out of junk, like the name implies. Just look at how clean and well put together Connector looks. This is straight up futuristic robot design here, and I wouldn't say a single part of him looks like it was pulled straight out of a scrapyard. The "future robot" look is also extremely fitting for his role as the only junk link monster (the background helps a lot in this regard). I just kinda wish he had more of a fun color scheme. Don't get me wrong, the grayish green with silver isn't bad, I just wish it was something that stood out more like what the junk synchro monsters have.
Rating: 9/10

1. Love the issues, I’m rocking the bars of my encounter while trying to grab the next one
2. How long does it normally take for you to do a page or two?
Thank you :)
It really depends on the number of frames! Generally and 1-2 hours per page! (I only draw when it’s late at night so time flies)
