Elite Ten

♥ Nene Kinokuni - They do consider each other as friends. Masae respects her greatly and thinks that she’s someone who’s capable of several things. She never wanted to mess with her in any single way. Sometimes in shock when Kuga freely jokes around about her. Later on in the series, they get closer.

Initially, she might have been a bit scared of Nene because of her ranking so high in the Elite Ten and also how she seems cold to several people. However, she’s met all kinds of people after working in a diner for so long, so she wasn’t scared after some meetings. When she was new, Nene also was the one to explain some other things about Totsuki that she didn’t know. She trusted Nene, but she wasn’t sure if she trusted her back.

♥ Isshiki Satoshi - He’s one of the people who’s the easiest to talk to! Sometimes she pays a visit to their dorm if she doesn’t have to do anything for her family in free days. She actually likes his accompany, and she thinks the atmosphere in the Polar Star Dormitory is one of the best ones out there yet!

They were friends since they communicated quite well, even if it was her first day in the school. He also doesn’t mind about her background of working in a diner, and he actually gave her some information he knows about fruits and vegetables! She also loves hearing him talking about his dorm mates, and she can’t help but smile as he does. Sometimes, she talks about her dorm mates with him too. They end up chatting for some minutes. They’re actually close!

♥ Kuga Terunori - A person who tends to joke around and has high confidence. That’s what she thought of him at first, and she felt at ease around him. Her confidence can never match his. They talk a lot to each other a lot, ever since the first day they met- since he did wonder about her diner. He did end up going there once, and he thought that her cooking was actually delicious. She actually appreciated the compliment, and she gains more confidence after this.

Their first meeting wasn’t the best. Kuga brought up her diner and said it might not be special. However, Masae spoke up and tried to defend the diner, but it later on showed her less confident side. After the initial meeting, it became better when Kuga decided to show his more playful side to her. He even said that if he ate there, she better do her best and her confidence shouldn’t hinder her from making the dish. They’re close friends now because of constant talks!

♥ Eizan Etsuya - She was too polite. She didn’t want to disturb him from any of his “calls”. She first wondered on why he had several calls, but after hearing some things from other people, she knew on why he had so many. They started as an acquaintances, but she didn’t really trust him because of what people said.

Even if she didn’t trust him with her whole heart, she did know that he’s actually a great help to Totsuki. He was in the Elite Ten for his cooking and also because of business. Being great at those two? That’s really amazing! She doesn’t try to bother talking to him too much, mostly because she thinks he’s a busy man who has to use his time wisely. Eizan on the other hand, does know what she can do, but he doesn’t pay too much attention

♥ For Shoko and Julio… I’m sorry… They didn’t appear too much, so I can’t really comment about it! At most I can just think they’re acquaintances unless I know more about them! I can just think that Masae was a bit triggered with his comment about the Polar Star Dormitory, since she heard stories from Isshiki and has been there. For Shoko, she would be looking at her… face once she was defeated by Megishima.

Dorm Mates

♥ Kaoru Atitarn - They were best friends ever since middle school! At least the second year of middle school. Kaoru was famous because he did theater and music in their old school. Masae, on the other hand, was famous because she was one of the greatest chefs in school. Let’s say something happened, and that’s what made them closer. Their backstories are in my DA account!

They both enter Totsuki, and it was a surprise to the both of them since they never mentioned it to one another. But honestly, Kaoru thought he was pretty dumb for not being able to guess his best friend will be in Totsuki. Usually, he’s seen with her and they have a sibling bond with one another. Normally, Masae has to pull him away from talking to women because he’s a flirt. He’s got the charisma, but Masae thinks there are things to focus on more besides that.

♥ Dai Adachi - They met before she entered their Dormitory. Soaring Land Dormitory was a dorm that was somewhere in Tokyo. People believed that people who lived in this dorm was considered rich. However, if you don’t want to pay for any additional fees, there was a challenge for the Totsuki students. They had to make a dish that will satisfy majority of the judges. Bad thing: you only have one trial or else you have to pay. Dai reveals he was already a part of the dorm, since he’s been there since middle school.

After the whole thing, Dai was the first one to Congratulate Masae besides Kaoru. When it was said that they’ll be additional chefs to the dorm if ever there are visitors was the catch, Kaoru and Masae accepted. She and Dai are often seen in the large living room, playing some card games or chatting about the day. They’re close friends, and they’re nothing more than that.

♥ Christelle Morin - They also met the same day she met Dai. But in the contrary, she was more quiet. She observed how Kaoru and Masae cooked and she believed that they were siblings. Mostly because Kaoru would go “Sis” at times and this confused Christelle a whole lot. She did believe they had great potential, and she knew they were going to pass from the start.

She didn’t bother talking to Masae until the night because of the small feast they had after there were 2 additions to the large dormitory they had. Masae talked to them about her family diner and Christelle was the first one to bring up that she will be the first one to eat there. After a few weeks, they become close friends and Christelle does comment that Masae was no ordinary diner chef, but she wouldn’t say that to her face.

Others

♥ Rentaro Kusunoki - He was the person she was up against once the Autumn Election came. When she knew this, she was very nervous and Kaoru was the one to comfort her, saying he believed in her. Sadly, she lost and she felt like breaking down on stage. He looks at the score once again, and he say it was 3-2 match. It was close, but he had too much of a pride to bring that up.

Some seconds later, she actually calms down once someone stands up and yells that she did her best. Rentaro and her exchange each other’s food and he comments that she did rather well, but there was something missing. While she decided to feed his ego and tell him that he was the obvious winner. After this, they do talk, but nothing too much. It’s hard to determine if they’re friends or not.

♥ Mea Yanai - After the whole thing of the Autumn Election, she actually talked to Masae and said she didn’t need to feel too bad because Rentaro was one of the well known students because of his unique specialty. She did tell her something that Rentaro didn’t bring up, and it was the closeness of the score. Masae quickly counters saying it was only by coincidence, and Rea pouts.

She points out that if she said that to Rentaro, he wouldn’t accept the word “coincidence” and say he’s going to be his hot-headed usual self and told her to just accept the skills she had. Quickly, that’s how the conversation ended and this confuses Masae. They’re more of acquaintances than anything.

♥ Rui and Shigemichi - Sadly there’s not enough of them so I can’t really guess on how they could be… Luckily Rentaro and Mea had some parts where they actually converse and I could guess how they act… Most likely not enemies? Just acquaintances?

♥ Kanichi Konishi - He was a part of the Don RS! She holds those kinds of foods a very special place in her heart since those were the typical foods that her mother would cook, since she mostly focused on Japanese food when she cooks. She couldn’t really make something fancy since she’s a very busy woman. Once she showed interests about the Research Society, she was asked if she wanted to join.

Sadly, she denied because she wasn’t so sure if she wanted to join anything yet. However, they do end up being friends! She would often drop by the Research Society and ask if something new was going on! This also happens even if Ikumi already joined the Don RS, where she was still excited to know more about it!

♥ Tetsuji Kabutoyama - Since he’s one of the people who is in a research Society, Masae actually does appreciate his talent and think that his specialty is pretty amazing. The fact that he shows deep care about his club and the pride he has for being in it, she was actually inspired to do better because of him. She also did enjoy having small talks with him here and there.

She even pays a visit to his Research Society’s stall in the Moon Banquet Festival to buy something from it, and she also did the same to some other places in the Moon Banquet Festival. Such would be to Chinese Cuisine RS as a promise to Kuga, and to the place where Nene served her food. A year after, when she heard about him having the possibility to be expelled, she was greatly upset on how things were and how the judges voted.

♥ Kiyoshi Godabayashi - Since he’s also in an RS, she has shown to respect him but she never really talked to him as much. She does appreciate learning more about it though! However, when Erina takes his RS down for the first time, she actually felt bad on how it ended up and wished that there was another way. But she knew that Erina Nakiri would be truly hard to defeat in a shokugeki so she could predict the outcome.

♥ Hanako Fujioka (belongs to @polar-stars!) - Masae actually looks up to Hanako! She might want to say it to her directly, but she’s too scared to know her reaction if she does. Would she think it would be weird if she suddenly thought that? It’s mostly because Hanako is goal-oriented and she actually thinks that’s an important factor in being a chef! She also does consider her as hard working, and she looks up to her because of that!

Maybe they can have some casual talk sometimes! If something, Kaoru will most likely be more care-free in talking to Hanako than Masae, but this often leads to Masae trying to drag her best friend away, saying she’s too busy so he shouldn’t take time in trying to flirt or whatever with her. In reality, Masae is actually concerned for her because of how she works so hard, and she wonders if she gets enough rest. Kaoru is more open in showing it more than Masae- since she respects her too much and her decisions

Three Culinary Judges Join the Cast of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma

Three new cast members have joined Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, an ongoing TV anime adaptation based on the food battle manga written by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki about a young man who seeks to prove himself as the best chef at a prestigious culinary academy.

The new cast members appear in Episode 23 "Bearing Polar Star Dormitory", and they include:

Yui Horie as WGO Marshal Rank 1, Anne.

Kenji Nojima as WGO Marshal Rank 2, Charme.

And Ryôta Takeuchi as WGO Marshal Rank 2, Histoire.

☕️ + megumi and hojo?

(Give me a ☕️ + a character/ship and I’ll ramble off whatever thoughts and opinion I have about it)

Oho, interesting! Thanks for the ask!

Megumi Tadokoro

Megumi is a character I love and adore. She has given me no choice in that matter, lol. I cannot possibly dislike a character who portrays such a huge amount of real, genuine kindness. Adding to that, she's incredibly easy to relate to (I know that I am not the only one who does).

In my opinion Megumi has had some of the very best moments in all of Shokugeki, especially in it's earlier parts. The Shokugeki against Shinomiya in Trainings Camp is still my favorite battle in the whole manga after all. Her performance in the Autumn Election Premlins was also really satisfying and sweet to see. (Monkfish Preperation Scene Supremacy)

Tsukuda really did great on making Megumi a character that I really want to see succeed.....But that is where the problem comes in.

The problem is that Tsukuda struggles with the Show, Don't Tell-Rule from Central Arc onwards.

Pre-Central, Megumi's character development was solid in my opinion. It was believable and not too fast-paced. But once focus was shifted to Azami-Drama, Megumi and other characters had to take a little step back from the action. And Megumi's character arc started to stagnate.

Through Training Arc. Autumn Elections and Stagiares, Megumi had visibly gained some more confidence in herself and her stage fright problem from the beginning of the series was ceasing. However there was something missing: pay-off. Her character arc lacks proper pay-off.

You see, throughout all of Central Arc Megumi has not won any single fight on-screen. She was given one victory against Shigemichi Kumai but not even second of that fight was actually shown to the reader. But when it's time for a more detailed fight against Momo, she looses.

In her fight against Momo, the judges do find the time to point out tho that Megumi might hasn't been able to beat Momo however there is quote unquote ✨potential✨.

Thing is that the "potential"-thing has been getting old at that point. It felt very reminiscent to Megumi's fight against Ryo back in the Autumn Elections. Ryo was able to win, however it was made clear through multiple dialogue-lines that Megumi did give him a good fight, defying the expectations the audience had from her. So basically that fight was like: Yes, she lost now. But she is on the right path. There is a lot of potential.

The issue is that time has progressed ever since the AE and it was about time for us, the readers, to see that potential unfold.

But we never got that.

We get a lot, a lot of talking about Megumi's potential throughout Central Arc but never an actual showcase of it. And it does not get much better with BLUE Arc either (I mean, what do you expect from that trainwreck of an arc anyway?)

First off, despite all of her potential and her participation in the Regiment de Cuisine & the retaking of Totsuki as a whole Megumi somehow ends up with the lowest seat in the Neo-Elite 10??? And I'm just: Why??? Why is she the only explicitly ranked below Eizan & Nene (who got a massive downgrade) with everyone else far ahead? (Tho the Neo-Elite 10 Ranking as a whole is one confusing mess and I should probably stop trying to bring sense into it if I do not want to go insane, lol.)

The infamous Hot Spring Fight against a Noir is where we finally see Megumi shine a little on-screen (at least in the manga). And well....I enjoyed seeing that but...

It is still not the proper pay-off she deserves, I'm sorry. Because ultimately that Noir-Guy is some random One-Off we never saw again. And that's a problem.

This character had no time establishing himself to us. We barely know him.

To put it into perspective: Satoshi Isshiki beating Julio Shiratsu in the RdC did not feel like a very impressive thing. Because we have only come to know Julio in that one fight and had absolutely no judgement on how powerful he may be (not to mention, that he was mostly placed in a very ridiculous light). It would have been a lot more impressive to the reader had Satoshi won his later fight against Eishi Tsukasa, because Eishi is a character who we have spent a lot more time with and who has repeatedly been portrayed as absurdly skillful and an actual threat.

See what I mean? As much as I loved seeing Megumi being an absolute badass in that Hot Spring Saga...It was not the satisfying pay-off I want for her.

The few victories she gets are always against random One-Offs while her fights against the more important characters are always a loss for her. Case in point: BLUE. She gets anOTHER off-screened match against some Noir in Chinese clothes, whose name I won't bother looking up if he even has one, where all characters talk about how talented she is but once it's time for her to go up against big bad bitch Asahi she looses. And that sucks.

Not to forget the fact that Megumi always gets strung along to every big event but we never get much justification for her participation (other than the obvious Meta-Reason that she's a main character).

Think about it, her and Takumi got extremely lucky in Train Arc by having Rindou giving them a free pass just for the lulz, while everyone else got expelled. Then a good number of messy chapters later, Megumi and Takumi get invited into BLUE without even a shred of reasoning behind it. Why them? How random is it to invite the 1st, 7th and 10th seat but no one else? Meanwhile when BLUE Arc was first mentioned in the manga they told Jouichiro that it's actually extremely rare for a student in that age to get into this tournament. And Jouichiro was a 3rd year back then, what are those three 2nd Years doing there??

The anime at least addressed that by having Totsuki's students fight for the participation (I appreciated that, if only the episode that covers it wasn't so lazily done)

I'd have much less of an issue with that if they actually gave Megumi something to work with in that arc. But really in RDC and even more so in BLUE, she's mostly just there I feel. She barely really impacts the story meaningfully in both of these arcs, I feel.

And it's one big shame.

As I said, I love Megumi and Tsukuda set her up as someone who I wanted to see succeed and defy expectations. Her journey up till Central Arc was a lot of fun and very compelling but then it just...came to a halt. And her arc never got any real, proper closure I feel. She was instead pushed more and more into the background and she just did not deserve that, man.

Never forget that she is one of the mains after all and she should have been treated as one.

Miyoko Hojo

When realising that Miyoko's speciality is Chinese cooking, I was super excited for her! I really love Chinese food and I've been waiting for it to be covered in Shokugeki up till that point.

I like Miyoko quite a lot, she's definitely one of my faves from the...well, I don't think "secondary" cuts it...the tertiary cast. Unfortunately we've got to see so painfully little of her.

I like that Megumi, in the most Megumi-ways, made her learn a lesson like "Feminism =/= You can not possibly get along with a man. Ever.", but it was also interesting to see acknowledgement of the inequality of men and women within the culinary business through Miyoko.

Miyoko's friendship with Megumi is something I adore and I would have very much liked more of it please. I enjoy the thought of Miyoko, this tough, unapproachable woman, having her face soften whenever this pure, little angel approaches her. Also 100% sure Miyoko would drop-kick whoever gives Megumi a funny look.

I also would have liked to see Miyoko interact more with Kuga, because I imagine it could have been a lot of fun. From the one, tiny interaction they've had I feel that Terunori actually respects Miyoko quite a bit. Which I think is interesting, because Terunori otherwise seems to enjoy bitching at people.

Honestly? If you ask me??? Miyoko should have been in the Regiment de Cuisine.

I'll never get over how she's shown in the audience, alongside Nao, smiling when the rebels are about to snatch victory. Like ahdhFJG, excuse me Ma'am what business do you have just watching??? You can not tell me that from what we've seen about Miyoko that she would not be up to kick Azami's ass out of Totsuki. I generally think it's stupid for the Rebels to go up against the Elites in a number even to them.

Azami. Explicitly told you guys. That you can bring more than that.

You were up against the Elite 10 Council.

(The Regiment de Cusine could have been a lot better to buy for me if the Rebels had shown up with more participants tbh but that's a different subject)

Anyways, as I said I wish we could have seen a lot more of Miyoko. But it just wasn't meant ot be :( I mean, when characters like Alice and Akira get pushed to the side, what chances does the tertiary cast have?

I'm at least glad that she is sort-off shown being the new president of the Chinese RS in Les Dessert 1? I like that for her.

But yes, ultimately...another criminally underused character. I look forward to write her being a cool mom in my fanfic tho.

Eizan/Kuga

[Note: This is when they’re part of the Elite Ten already because I thought it’d fit my idea most!!]

Summer vacation was up ahead and they both had different goals for the whole vacation. Eizan planned to gain some money by doing his “job”. By being able to persuade people with his lies and bringing down their business afterwards, he was able to get additional money- much more than what he actually needed. Kuga had other plans- it was too improve his forte so that he could actually move up in the seats and beat the people above him. He also planned to train with his men during the vacation so they wouldn’t be rusty.

… But well the gods weren’t in their favor. More of- Rindou Koboyashi wasn’t in their favor.

She planned a whole trip with them- with the whole Elite Ten to be specific and let’s just say that it wasn’t the best thing… Since there were two people who would probably stab each other on the guts if they had the chance. If only laws didn’t exist, huh?

Eizan was currently inside the airplane, and he thought that the trip was going surprisingly well. He didn’t talk to the blonde that annoyed him a single time and it was because he sat beside Erina Nakiri… So there was nothing but silence between the two.

All of a sudden, this peaceful moment was ruined by his seat getting kicked from behind… Of course he was going to ruin his day. Eizan sighed loudly before shouting from his seat, which even caused the sleeping first year to jump up and accidentally hit her face on the window of the airplane. “What the fuck do you want, midget?!”

“What the fuck did you just call me?!”

“First off, why the fuck are you kicking my damn chair?!” Eizan turned around to face Kuga and spotted the missing seat beside him. “Did you annoy Kinokuni enough to make jump off with a damn parachute?!”

“She was annoyed and she excused herself in the bathroom. I wouldn’t annoy her that much that she’d want to jump out the airplane!”He protested before grinning.” “Why do you care about little Miss Pigtails again?” Kuga casually crossed his legs. “Huh, you shit?” He has that stupid cocky grin on his face and Eizan wanted to pull his hair out.

“I don’t fucking are about her.” He replied before rolling his eyes. “But damn you make me want to jump off because your voice sounds like a fucking rat. Squeaky and annoying. Matches your height.” He insulted and Kuga stood up from his seat and he didn’t even hide his irritation.

“We’re playing dirty now, huh?” Kuga glared and he raised a finger. “At least I’m not a fucking business man who will never have nothing inside his pants but cash.” He countered and Eizan slammed the chair and went closer to the man who said that. “Do you got some shit to say to me, bitch?!”

Erina was currently face palming and she stood up from her seat. “Tsukasa-senpai, Koboyashi-senpai. I am transferring seats.” She couldn’t take it anymore and she knew from the start this will end up happening in the end. “I will sit beside Kinokuni-senpai and leave these two alone.

“THERE’S NO WAY I’LL SIT WITH THIS FUCKER!”

“FUCK NO, NAKIRI-CHIN! JUST SIT BESIDE ME! I’LL RATHER HAVE YOU THEN THIS BASTARD!”

The trip only started 2 hours ago… and this trip was supposed to last for a week… Some members of the Elite Ten now were placing their bets on who will sacrifice who first.

Julio/Isshiki

[Note: This is before Isshiki became part of the Elite Ten!! We will see more of him in like.. Training Camp Arc in my fanfic and also on Autumn Elections!]

There was something that Julio didn’t understand about Isshiki Satoshi. He was well-liked by people, particularly by his juniors and he even had the friendliest attitude. He never seemed to focus on improving his skills during class hours and he never saw him stay after classes- he only went back to the dormitory which he called his “home”.

But what he didn’t understand was that no matter how much he didn’t show his true skills- he was still somehow on the top. Julio wanted to curse that damned man who never needed to perspire while he cooked, he cooked with no effort and yet he had grades greater than his. Isshiki was able to get something that he wasn’t and that was honor.

It was somewhat unfair to him and he couldn’t see how he was always better than him.

He gritted his teeth for a short moment but he ended up only looking away. Maybe if he weren’t so preoccupied with his dorm mates, he could have shown much more talent. Maybe he could actually prove to him that he deserved that spot. Because there was one thing he noticed about the male- he usually held back… It was getting annoying.

Before he could actually be trapped in his thoughts, he spotted the same male who he was thinking about with the corner of his eyes passing by him- not even pausing for a second to look at him. This was what made it worse. Isshiki was able to treat him as if he was just an “ordinary” student. He was more than that, and he deserved more attention.

“Isshiki.” Julio tried to catch his attention, and for the first time- he did. The male he called stopped on his tracks and turned around to look at the male who wanted to get his eyes on him. “I have to tell you something.” Once he said this, he only gave a sweet smile at Julio. He was in confusion since the smile seemed like it was hiding something underneath.

“What is it, Shiratsu-kun?” He asked politely, wondering on why the male suddenly wanted to talk to him. “I was planning to go back to my dorm earlier today because some of my underclassmen need help!” He brought up the same people as always and this annoyed the hell out of Julio.

“If we go against each other, don’t hold back.” Those words slipped out his mouth and Isshiki’s smile only got wider before he ended up laughing. He began facing the direction of the exit again, as if he was ignoring what he just said.

“Maybe we can talk about this another time!”

Once again… He was ignored. But who knew that his small request would be happening very soon?

Nene/Mea

[Note: Middle school Nene and Mea? YES! I think once she’s in First Year, she becoms more studious so yep!!]

Who knew that Nene could somehow be convinced to go out to go shopping after school hours? ... Oh wait, she wasn’t convinced. She was forced. She was currently in her school uniform and she was holding unto her bag as she was getting pulled by one of the most well known students from her year... Mea Yanai.

She didn’t really mind going out for shopping, but she wasn’t the type to ever crave to actually go out and shop. She’d prefer drinking tea than soda inside a big restaurant. She’d prefer simple clothes than stunning ones that stole attention. She’d prefer doing simple things such as calligraphy or maybe even poem writing than actually shopping for bags and new clothes... She’d rather be studying than go out.

But well, her hand was grabbed by the girl and she somehow couldn’t get out of her grip. She later on gave up and went to the flow. Even if she gave the coldest stare to Mea, the other woman didn’t bat an eye as she continued to bring her along. So in this fight, she already knew she couldn’t win.

Right now, they were in a clothing shop as Nene only looked around, not even giving too much notice to the clothes around her. She found some pretty, yes- but she’d prefer to not say it out loud or react because if she did, it will only fuel Mea’s enthusiasm for the trip. She froze when she heard Mea speak. “Kinokuni-chan! Look at this!” She gets the hanger of the clothes and shows her a blouse.

It was a shade of light pink and it had some floral patterns on it. It somehow resembled one of her kimonos and she actually thought it was pretty. She didn’t want to take too long in the shop so she only talked in a blunt manner to try her best to show that she had no interest. “What about it?”

“Don’t you think it’d fit you?” Mea tilts her head and she gasps once she spotted something that would perfectly go along with it. She got another piece of clothing and showed it to her. “This will look stunning if you wear these two at the same time!” She exclaimed and Nene only held her bag tighter. She had to admit, it was tempting.

She never really go the time to have fun and shop with friends, and she was usually never given this opportunity because inviting her to places always ended up getting to nowhere. However, the pink haired girl was clearly a different one. She wouldn’t stop trying to persuade her until she said yes. “Fine. I’ll wear it.” She gives in. “But once I do... I’m leaving.”

The purple eyes of the person who was able to actually be with Nene outside of school sparked in happiness. “Of course!” She places her hands together. “I’ll be waiting for you to come out of the changing room and see how well it fits you!”

It took some minutes, but once she looked at the mirror- she actually was surprised with how much it matched her. It was simple yet elegant and it wasn’t something that grabbed too much attention... It was perfect for her. She went out to show the person how she looked.

Mea was absolutely astonished by what she wore and she clasped her hands together. “Perfect! Absolutely perfect! Gosh, I’m the best in picking clothes!” She began praising herself and Nene fixed her glasses while blushing. “How about I buy it for you?”

“Y-You don’t need to...” She stuttered a bit because of the compliments and the offer. “I told you, once I wear this and get out of it... I will be leaving.”

“You’re not leaving without any new clothes, honey! That’s the Yanai Number One Rule!”

Tetsuji/Hanako

[Note: I don’t know when this exactly takes place but it’s probably somewhere around middle school since I think written exams are more common during that time for Totsuki students uwu]

Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock. That was the only sound that was repeating in the classroom as Hanako continued to study something for the upcoming exams. Even if their school focused on cooking- there were some tests that were written- and this was of course, not related to cooking at all. They still had other subjects after all.

Hanako only focused on the paper and ignored the rays of the sun that peeped at the window. She decided to come early so she could settle on her seat already and study there. If she came a bit later, there could have been a chance that she wouldn’t have been able to refresh her memory about the lessons in school because of the noise some of her classmates made.

She sighed as she pulled the paper closer to her so she could take note of every single detail from definitions to theories. For a couple of nights, she’s been sleeping later than usual just to study and it was known to some people that she was a hard worker, and even goal-oriented. She would do anything to reach what she wanted. Even if it meant making some sacrifices that could affect her health.

Once she was done with the reviewer, she brought out her book to turn it to a page with additional information- and there she suddenly heard something else besides the clock inside the room or herself flipping notes. It was the door. She looked over to the the person who came, hoping it wasn’t someone rowdy or loud. “Oh, it’s you.”

It was no other than her close friend. She was really relieved to see him come closer to her and he only sat beside her. He smiled at her like usual before he looked over at the things she was holding. “As expected from you, Hanako. But I think it’s best if you don’t overwork yourself.” He was a little worried about her, but he knew that even if he did say this- she’d do it anyway.

“I can’t do that. I have to make sure I pass.” She closed her book for a moment and she the male who just entered the classroom sighed. He already knew what was going to be her answer, but he still had to be mindful over her. He was one of the more caring ones, and he even acted like an older figure to some other students.

“I should have expected that answer.” He replied to her before he brought out his own studying materials. “But I hope you don’t mind that we study together. So at least you’d not end up mumbling to yourself the whole time.” He did notice that she was more stressed when she was with no one else and she had no choice but to blame herself if she didn’t understand something. “It would help the both of us.”

Hanako nodded her head, not minding his offer. Even agreeing with his little comment. “I’m okay with that.” She looked back at the page number that was written on the handouts that was given to them. “Page 125.”

It was always less stressing if you could study with a friend, and she knew this so well by now.

Title: Missing Pieces

Summary: There was a certain gang that wasn’t able to come to their first meeting. But after some weeks, it was time for them to show up.

Word Count: 5335

Notes: Okay so this is the first appearance of X-terminate <3 <3 I know it took a while before they showed up but considering how serious they are compared to the LA5T 5HOT5, they’re pretty much more busy so they’re out on missions a lot!! Also... yes... it’s a long time before you see them, but I like keeping them pretty myterious and stuff like that but fjkbdf I hope you like it !!!!

But yes, this is pretty gorey so just a warning !!

A phone began ringing in an empty dark room. It’s been several days ever since anyone took a step in the house, and there were several missed calls from different numbers. People should have expected that they weren’t always at their “warm little home” since they have some business to do. People never dared to steal their attention, because they wouldn’t be able to tell if they were going to shoot them or not.

“Fear is the best solution.”

That was a line which their leader always told them. A dark grin on his face as he chuckled softly in front of the people they captured. He wasn’t the kind of person to show mercy to traitors, after all. If you dared betray his trust, he wouldn’t mind tearing off some skin of your body to make you realize that mistake you did.

There was one thing about him that everyone knew and that was...

He hated traitors.

A couple of people were found inside the Kinokuni house because they had to do their hiding in a different location for a moment. Well, actually, the bigger reason was probably the fact that her parents began worrying sick about her because she wasn’t seen for a while- but they still talked to her through a phone. The visitors didn’t enjoy the words they heard from outside the room.

“You’re supposed to be the perfect head. You’re not supposed to be running off without telling us, Nene.”

Nene was part of a family who had to follow tradition, and for the first time in her life- she didn’t follow it. But it was for a good reason, and this was to ensure her safety more. If she stayed inside the Kinokuni house for a long amount of time, she might die the next morning on her bed. Even if so, her parents never understood.

“Will you not do anything, Greedy Shit?” Kuga was oddly quiet, his voice being really soft so the people on the other side of the wall can hear. “If Mister All Smiles were in her place, I’ll bang the door open then go “Hey bitches if he stayed here he would have died!” or some shit like that.” He reenacted the scene, even lifting a middle finger at the person in front of him.

Eizan didn’t speak up, all he did was sigh loudly. “You fucking idiot, if I were to do that then her parents would have cut off the deal. You shouldn’t go against the person you’re making the deal with.” He explained. “Even if I wanted to point out the truth, this isn’t the correct time when they’re completely angered because of worry.”

Kuga rolled his eyes before leaning on the wall. “Man, I pity her for having someone like you. You have to go out of your business kind of thinking for once. This is why you’re called Greedy Shit.” He may have not cared too much about the female, but he still disliked people who never tried to hear another person’s side.

The side of the house was quiet, and the negotiator began looking around before trying to bring up a solution. “Well... I master the techniques of making people hear you out, if you all want to, then I could speak up...” He raised his right hand, even if he hesitated. “I might not know Miss Kinokuni Nene too well... But I think this is unfair on her part, and I would want to... you know... Try and help.”

“Canción, you may do that after Nene comes out of her room. This is a formal matter.” Their planner started to give her own opinion. “Even if some of us really care about her, it’s best if we stay in place. We shouldn’t disturb family matters.” She may have not liked the situation, but she believed it was best to tolerate it. “Once she’s out, we can talk to them. We shouldn’t budge in.”

Without them noticing, someone went inside the room and they all had a surprise expression on their face.

“Mister All Smiles, you fucking dumbass!”

The door in front of them got shut and everyone didn’t know how to respond to what he did.

“Right after I said that...” Lotus placed her two of her fingers on the bridge of her nose. “Whatever. I think Mister Isshiki Satoshi knows what to do. He does know about her most, no?” A figure slowly opened the door to have a little peek and he was only pulled back by their planner. “Leader, what are you doing?”

“... I was curious to see what’s happening but you’re completely right. If someone knew her well, it would probably be him.” He began speaking up before fixing his collar. “They are... Well, childhood friends after all.”

After a few moments, the pair ended up going out first and Nene started to walk away by herself. Without a moment to waste, Eizan who was just about to place a cigarette in his mouth, began following her. He, for the first time, didn’t know what to do.

“Leave me alone.” She says this bluntly, walking away from her protector. “I don’t want to talk to anyone right now.” She tried her best to avoid any eye contact with him and the man behind her only caught up to her and he was able to grab her by the arm.

“They’re the wrong ones. Don’t let them get to you, woman.” He didn’t force her to look at her, but he did want her to hear what he had to say. “I’m informed about how your family goes, and I have to personally apologize to them myself for not thinking about their...” He shrugged. “Thoughts.” In reality, he didn’t care about any of their feelings. As long as he got something what he wanted, he was okay with whatever happens. Lying was common in his kind of life anyway. “Maybe it’s my fault, maybe it’s not. Who fucking cares? You’re still alive anyway.”

Nene pulled her hand away but she didn’t continue walking. “... You’re not at fault either.” These were her last words before she continued to walk away and Eizan was left there, thinking that whatever she wished was the best thing to do.

An unknown number began calling the phone of the other Clan Head and he immediately answered. “Isshiki Satoshi, who is it?” He didn’t sound as happy as usual, and this might have been because of the conversation he had to have with the parents of his friend. At least they believed whatever he said was true. “If you’re not going to answer my question, I have to end this call.”

A chuckle was heard from the phone. “Are you threatening me, Isshiki-kun?” The voice was rather raspy, and it sounded that he was completely tired. “I went home from stealing lives and I’m greeted with so much... negative feelings.” He sounded like what he did was bittersweet. “It makes me want to bring down more people. Maybe... to you know, make them burn in hell.”

Isshiki wasn’t unfazed by the person who called, and he clearly knew who it was. There was only one person who could speak so violently with having a fun voice in his tone. “You’re Death, aren’t you?” The happy tone returned to him. “I gave you a couple of calls some weeks ago! I hope you were able to hear all the voice messages!”

“You’re... terribly scary switching your sides so easily.”

“I can’t believe I got these words from a well-known murderer!”

A laugh escaped from the mouth of the “murderer”. “Oh wow. Anyway, yes. I did receive all of them... We could meet wherever. We’re free for a week, Kiyoshi-kun is way too injured to actually go on missions... Oh wait, nevermind what I just said! It’s best to meet us inside headquarters.”

“Hm... I’ve only seen you in Aroon’s house a couple of times.” He tried to think of every moment he talked to the mysterious figure. “But I think I’m down to meet you there! Just inform me about the location... oh and, are you alright with some people besides me? I think it’s a must for me to bring them!”

“A must? Really? Yeah sure, whatever. Just be sure they’re not going to do anything against me... or else...” He paused for a moment, and if Isshiki was able to see him right now, he might have one single drip of sweat crawl down his face. It wasn’t a sight to smile at. A normal person would have backed away, especially if he had his favorite knife at hand. “They’ll pay.”

“Well...” Isshiki suddenly heard some the door bang open, and he ended up talking in a quicker pace. “See you later then!”

“Wait, Isshiki-”

The phone was down before he could say his next words. There was a person with a pretty irritated expression on his face. “Damn, if we were in Aroon’s place, I would have been shouting at you! I was calling for you a couple of times and I knocked but you weren’t responding!” He stuck his tongue out. “The ever-behold Kinokuni elders were calling for dinner! Everyone fucking looked at me when they asked who’d call you!”

Isshiki laughed nervously before scratching the back of his head. “I apologize! I promise that I’ll be more observant next time!” He had a smile on his face and Kuga huffed before dragging him out of the room. “Oh? Is it their specialty? Soba?” He asked this and from there, the conversation only continued.

“Your parents finally let you out again?” The tallest male brought up inside the group and Nene only nodded her head slightly. “That’s good. I was worried that they wouldn’t trust Eizan Etsuya to protect you anymore... Maybe us too.” He did act like the dad figure, even to the people who was only new to the group.

“They did. They only kept me in for three days.” She explained. “They also understood what Isshiki said. They were even more convinced after Eizan, Canción and Lotus spoke to them.” She told her the gist of what happened. “Added to that, who else could they trust if they ended up breaking the deal?”

“That is true.” Sukiru began thinking about the situation. After the whole incident that went on the public news paper, people began being careful with who they choose.” He clearly knew the incident, but he didn’t think that Nene would have known it too.

“... I heard about it from my parents. The case of the Milas family, I’m assuming.” Nene was someone who had to be informed about the current situations and risks, so her parents always told her what happened in the public. “The parents were found dead, one sister went missing and the other was in the hospital but she left with no trace. People believe she committed suicide because of her “Last Letter” found in her hospital room. People have given up finding her.”

Sukiru shut his lips tight. “Yes. The murder scene was morbid, and they never ended up revealing the faces of the family in public. But we should never bring that up, people might believe that we could have done it if they overhear us.”

“I wouldn’t be talking it out of nowhere. It reminds me how dangerous my life is, and I’ll rather not think about it.” She looked down to her feet. “I also don’t enjoy talking about the dead, I want to respect them.” Even if Nene didn’t show fear most of the time, there were moments where the topic of death made her feel uneasy.

“We don’t need to talk about it.” A smile was present on the face of his. “I wouldn’t want you to feel any negative emotion when you’re around us. Make yourself feel at home.”

“Hey Daddy Wolverine, Misses Eizan.” A man stepped inside the room, a grin on his face and the two only faced him at the same time.

“... Don’t call me that.”

“Well, you see... Isshiki wants to meet someone.” He begins ignoring their words. “Someone who I know very well and... Trust me, I fully believe in him... But you Misses Eizan, should be careful.” It was the first time of Nene to see the gang leader of LA5T 5HOT5 to seem so nervous. “... He’s... dangerous.”

Someone else came in the room, and he tried to observe the gestures of Nene. After a few moment, he walked away to tap the shoulder of the person who protected her. “Eizan, I think Miss Kinokuni looks pretty nervous.” He brings this up and the person he talked to only raised an eyebrow. “I think Aroon might have informed her about who we’re meeting later.”

He didn’t have anything against Canción, so all he did was stare at him. “... Thank you for the information, I guess?” He shrugged, not knowing who they were meeting either. “I don’t know who we’re fucking seeing. District 1 is one of the most dangerous places to be in. I don’t trust whoever is there. We better have our defenses up if we’re going there.”

“We will.” A smile was on the lips of Canción, and it was strange to find someone this calm when there was a risk of death. “The person who we’re meeting already eliminated all possible danger in that District! Their leader wanted to claim that territory.”

Eizan did not comprehend why he was so calm in this situation, he actually began believing that it might be because he was a negotiator, who had to hide any feelings- or it might have been that it was someone who he already trusts. “... I will believe in you with those words.” Seconds later, Eizan was found walking off to the place where Nene stood, so he could calm her down even with the littlest ways.

“God, I know you’re all friendly but- How can we fully trust them?! You won’t even mention their gang name to any of us but Aroon!” A blonde began yelling at the person he was protecting. “I know you’re all chill and shit, but we shouldn’t be too risky, Jesus! What if the gang we’re meeting is planning to kills us?! I know allies are important but at least tell us who they are!”

Isshiki was surprised to see the Yakuza member to panic this much. He blinked a couple of times before tilting his head. “But you’re the best Yakuza member in the world... I don’t think you should be worried!” He tried to calm the person in front of him down and Kuga only spun to face the wall and slam his head on it. “Kuga! Don’t do that! Are you okay?”

“I know I’m the fucking best, but that fucking District... They’re fucking terrible. I remember taking a step in and I was greeted by my damn suit getting fucking red all over it!” He began pointing at his suit. “It was their fucking blood! But this is my new suit, so I can’t fucking make this covered in red!”

“You bought another one?” Isshiki attempted to change the topics, and he quickly fell for this.

“Yeah, so at least if it was my last day to live, I’ll look new and drop-dead fun-fucking-tastic, right?”

The allied gangs and the two people who they aimed to protect ended up in a ghost town kind of Distict, and this was a surprise to see for the Yakuza Family Gang Leaders. The last time they’ve been here, there were a couple of people who actually aimed for their head, or were ready to have a duel to death with them.

Lotus only looked around before looking over at Gaia. “Let’s do this as planned. In case anything happens, please go in front. You have the fastest reaction when it comes to seeing people move around, so if there is any foreign object moving, be sure to give us a sign.”

“Understood, Lotus.” With that command, she instantly went in front of the group and prepared her gun. “If I am able to spot something, I’ll just shoot and you would already know what that mean.”

“Of course we would, but thank you for telling us.” Lotus knew that whatever she decided would be the best for the group. “Aroon, you’re the best with guns. You know all the codes of our gang, so if you hear Gaia say a certain code, you know what to do. Canción, in case there are any stranger who approaches us, be sure to convince them that we can do this in a peaceful manner. Sukiru, if several people suddenly come in- you know the cue.” She wasn’t holding anything but her gun. “I don’t need my papers or pens for this plan, all I need is my gun.”

Everyone was listening to what the planner had to say because in the past few weeks, they all came out alive because of her plans. This was to the point that even Nene believed in her with her whole heart, and Eizan could never look down at her anymore. “And what do we do, Miss Bunny-Bun?”

“Don’t ever call me that.” She glances at Kuga for a moment. “But all you have to do is watch out for any suspicious people because you’re the main protectors of those two next Clan heads over there.”

“And Kuga...” The gang leader smiled, but it wasn’t no ordinary kind of smile he would usually give. “I hope you know my gun is out and I can shoot your fucking head.”

Aroon looked away from the golden eyes of the gang leader and he felt how pissed off he was with the energy surrounding him. “... Alright, sheesh Stupid Red Hair Clips. You don’t need to... look at me like that! You don’t need to be jealous!”

Kaoru twitched before he poked the muzzle of the gun on his neck. “I’m not fucking jealous. It’s just me being a protective gang leader, deep shit. I know we’re friends but let’s not get too friendly here, got it?”

“Leader, I think you should go some steps away from Kuga for a moment!” Canción smiled innocently before he pulled Aroon away. “Let’s cool you off for a moment!” Even if the situation was bad, Canción always knew how to calm the gang leader down and he only sighed before shifting his attention away. “But... I think we should go to the gang’s house now... We might be late if we keep still!”

“Yeah. I know...” Aroon starts to cross his arms. “I do know that he hates people being late, so we should hurry before he gets angry. But we do have a secret weapon though so he wouldn’t get mad.”

Canción began laughing a bit before eyeing the female who was in front of them, walking ahead, turning at a different direction every once in a while. “I thought he had a weakness for you too?”

“What? Me?” The gang leader waved his hands around. “No fucking way! He wouldn’t kill me, but... He’d still never hold back his words if he were to talk with me. If he did have another weakness it’d be...” He went near Canción to whisper to his ear. “Matchmaking. It’s pretty much a secret until he sees it happening.”

Once they arrived in the area, the person in front knocked on the door, and she was doing it in Morse Code. After a few seconds, there was an entrance to the house. The female who opened the door had shades on and her white hair was tied to a ponytail.

“What are you doing here?” She sounded as if she was giving herself authority. Kuga carefully prepared his gun but Isshiki lightly nudged his hand, signalling him to not lift up his gun.

“We’re here to see your leader.” Gaia quickly replied, even looking up at the girl.

“Hah?!” The woman they just met seemed pretty intimidating, and from there- Nene could already feel the difference between this gang and LA5T 5HOT5.

“We’re here to meet Death.”

When that name was brought up Kuga brought his hands to his face and Eizan instantly faced Aroon.

“Why did you not tell us this on the fucking first place?!”

“We know him already, you shit!

Nene paused before turning around to look at the two men glaring at the gang leader. “Death?” She questioned the name, but she did remember that they all had these kinds of code names. “Who are they?”

“Remember we were supposed to meet another gang but they were unable to come?” Eizan tries to explain to Nene despite glaring at the male who didn’t tell him which gang it was on the first place. “Death is the gang leader of X-terminate. We have met him before so I wonder why the fuck this bitch didn’t tell us who it was.”

Before the argument could continue, they were allowed to enter the house. They had to follow whatever instructions the female had to avoid the possibility of triggering a trap. “The name’s Bullet.”

Everyone inside the group took note of her name and Gaia began speaking to her. “We’ve known her for a while, she makes weapons for the gang.”

Bullet only gave a brief nod. “You got that right. I might be a person who usually makes weapons, but don’t underestimate me.” She warned them before looking back for a moment. “I know how to use them too.” She unlocked the door in front of them, and this started to reveal the rest of the members of the gang.

“We might be consisting of 6 members only, but you have to know that we’re a group who people fear.” Bullet reminded before going to her spot. “This is why we’re called X-terminate in the damn first place.”

“Thank you Bullet for giving us such an excellent appearance~!” The man who was in the middle gave a small grin, his red eyes dull but his expression looking very excited. “I didn’t expect to see you all here. And oh, what do we have here?” He zoomed in closer before patting the head of Nene. “Oh! Gasp! A female!”

“Death, you dumbass. You don’t say gasp out loud.” A person with red hair and blue eyed looked pretty irritated. “Come back here, we should formally present ourselves.”

The grin on the face of the person who moved in close never left as he went back to place. “My, oh my! Who does that sweetheart belong to?”

Eizan didn’t want to respond to the male, but Kuga had the biggest grin on his face. “Grim Reaper, she’s engaged to Greedy Shit over here!”

“... Engaged...?” The smile was exchanged with a surprised reaction. “Oh god. I was right, a fellow person with glasses is your type...”

“Shut up, Death.”

Suddenly, someone was close to Eizan’s face, a knife directly at his neck and a gun thrown down to the ground. “This is my house. Respect me, fucker.”

Nene’s hear beat raised, and she wanted to try and separate the two but she was stopped by Aroon. “It... isn’t the best to go against him.” He muttered. “He can get very violent... He wouldn’t hesitate to slice your neck more because he doesn’t even know you.”

“Death.” A girl with black hair tugged him by the shirt. “Calm down.”

He seemed to ease down almost immediately when he heard that voice. “Hm... How cruel. You know I can’t deny you.” He placed his knife back to its hiding place, but he didn’t look as lively as he did back then. “X-terminate. Please present yourselves.”

“I’ve already presented myself.” Bullet brought up before pointing at the rest. “So it’s their turn now.”

A person who had a masculine figured rolled their eyes. “Right, you were the one who opened the door. But I have nothing much to say... The only new person here is the two people who we have to protect. Well, I’m Cross. That’s it.”

“That was really quick Cross. Did you want me to present myself this fast?” The person who spoke had a large and round figure, but he was proud to have it. “I am Target and I came from a long line of my family’s Yakuza family.” He showed so much pride in himself just by the way he speaks. “My defense skills are undeniably the best out there! I am living up to my family name!”

“Don’t take too much of the shine~!” Someone butted in the conversation, and with how much he was sparkling- the darkness of the room seemed to light up. “Shot, remember that blessed name! A man who switches from gang to gang, I am sure everyone inside the whole Yakuza has heard me before!” He winked at the visitors before pushing the girl who was at his side. Her expression only darkening.

“Raven. I have nothing else to say. Leader?”

The person who may have induced fear inside Nene on their first meeting didn’t have any happiness present on his face- he looked pretty pissed and the eyebags underneath his eyes did not make anyone feel safe. “Death.” He brought out his knife once again, but this time, he placed it near his mouth. “My name and something that I cause.”

Nene was right... They were completely different from the ones they’ve met so far, and she couldn’t help but wonder... could she really trust them?

“If you’re scared of us, I think it’s best to leave.”

“I’m not...”

“Don’t lie to me, sweetheart. It makes me tempted to... shut your mouth by making you choke on your own blood.” He warned. “Be honest with me. Are you scared?” Nene became quiet for a moment and she didn’t have an answer to him. “I don’t care if you’re engaged to Eizan and I fully believe that you’re his perfect match, once you piss me off, it’s over for you. Did Aroon not warn you?”

“Stop scaring her, you fuck.”

“Eizan. You say something against me, I’ll do something worse than killing you.” He barked. “Maybe I can kill the person you’re protecting. Ruins your reputation and you get no money for protecting a girl with your life.”

“Once you’re in his house, it’s his rules.” Cross explained. “We have two, one of them is no betraying, the other one is no lies. I think it’s best to follow them if you want to survive.”

Isshiki only stared at the gang leader of X-terminate. “I know his rules but, can you at least be nicer to her?” He starts to glare at him. “I don’t think it’s nice doing this to a person you just met.”

Death glared back at Isshiki, before squinting. “Isshiki, listen... I respect you, but I swear to god, but I fucking do what I want. People who are scared make the most stupid decisions.” He explained. “And now she knows about my gang, she can report us anytime she wishes, and she’d probably do that out of fear.”

“Can everyone shut up for a moment?”

Death closed his mouth before staring at the girl who eased him down for a moment. “I might care for you greatly, Gaia... but do you think telling me to shut up is a bit too much?”

“First off, no. Secondly, can you listen to me?” Gaia sighed. “How can she not fear you if all you do is evoke fear from her?” She had to reply to him logically. “I know that you hate trusting others in first meeting, but you have to let this slide for once.”

“And why are you telling me this?”

“We’re here to be allies.” She sighed. “Not to bring fear to people, Death. I know this is your way to see if someone is worthy... But please bring that out for a moment. How can she not fear you if she believes you have all the capabilities to slice her neck, especially that there’s a bounty for her head? Can we... start talking to each other, like normal people? Like the people who we used to be?”

The room went silent for a moment, and the dull eyes of Death changed for a bit. “... I guess we can do that for a moment... But I’ll never be this easy with anyone else, understood?”

“Of course.” She made an agreement. “You know everyone in this room, correct? So only Misses Eizan needs to be considered.”

“If that’s what you say... Then I shall obey. I have too much things I haven’t done for you, so it’s best to do things for you now.” He suddenly started to move away before opening another door. “Let’s discuss things more... civilized, shall we?”

Nene felt like she could breathe again, and Eizan was still glaring at the male. “Don’t worry, Misses Eizan.” Gaia began talking. “Once you meet a man like him, you’ll never fear anyone in your whole life.”

“What do you mean?” Nene wondered what she meant. She never felt fear towards a person, but this might only because of the circumstance she’s in.

“Once you overcome your fear of him... You’ll probably be a fearless badass. You’ll be able to hold up your gun and shoot at anyone when needed.”

Isshiki sighed out of relief after the whole situation. “This gang is critical because they’re probably one of the most talented gangs out there... But I was worried about the worst... Thank you, Gaia!” He smiled politely at the small girl before giving her some pats on the head. “I’m glad you can talk to him like that!”

“Isshiki... No need to thank me but... When you talked to him... You didn’t seem like yourself.” She replies. “Are you hiding something from us?”

“Huh? Of course not!” He laughed. “I was only feeling protective over Nene, since she’s the only one who hasn’t met Death yet, and I know how he could be like sometimes... I was worried, so I tried to say something back... Plus, their gang might be the missing pieces to ensure that I and Nene will be completely safe so... I thought that he wouldn’t be like this...”

“... You’re all taking so long. Are we going to talk or not?”

“We’re coming in some seconds, Grim Reaper!”

A new side of Isshiki was able to be observed by several people in the room, and there were people who discovered that maybe Gaia and Death had a quite mysterious backstory with one another... This was a day where everyone was filled with questions.

“X-terminate. You already know us. We’re ready to kill.”

Dai “Death”Adachi

The known leader of the gang, and he chooses to eliminate anyone as long as the price is right. He’s known to specialize with knives and stealing. He gives a strict atmosphere in public, and he can be rather threatening- but he’s got a large soft spot for some people. Mostly his own gang, LA5T 5HOT5, Clovers and Bull’s Eye.

Christelle “Cross” Morin

She used to be a part of the French Mafia, but after leaving the country, she tried to start new. After hearing Dai and Kaoru split up for certain reasons, she goes back to this life to help out Dai. She’s the known soldier of the group, and she specializes with hand-to-hand combat and her main weapon are tonfas.

Rin “Bullet” Hisakawa [@polar-stars‘s oc]

Invited by Dai and promised to give her extra pay because she actually does some fighting- but what makes her special is that she knows how to fix and make weapons. She normally hides all her fear, and she does it pretty well- but she’s often with Christelle when out to do a mission. She specializes in weaponry, so she knows how to use any weapon given to her.

Kiyoshi “Target” Godabayashi

He’s in a family line of a Yakuza family and he’s very proud to show his talent. He specializes in any kind of defense and he’s good with traps. The main reason why he joined the gang was because Dai admitted her wanted revenge, and he also has the same motive as him so they ended up being friends and inside a gang.

Julio “Shot” Shiratsu

One of the more known ones inside the gang because he switches from gang to gang once he sees a better one. He also finds the combination of the members interesting. His previous target was Isshiki Satoshi before he came inside the gang of Dai, and at one point Dai had to stop him from shooting, saying he was not his target anymore.

Shouko “Raven” Kaburagi

Used to be a lone wolf who only chooses her targets herself unless someone requests her to kill someone, but to hire her- you have to pay a lot. She’s an excellent sharp shooter who never missed a shot before. She’s the best in assassinating someone in the group. Normally, she’s up all night to make sure the group is safe so she’s usually found sleeping in the morning.

For further information, the gang leader is accepting more people to join!! Unlike the gang of Kaoru who plans to stick to 5

I’m bored and achieved nothing today, I need to do at least one productive thing

A quick run-down of my Next Gen kids, because why not? If anyone asks me about them I can point to it ;w; It won’t be the most informative post ever but it’s really just a simple introduction. In case it sparks your interest, feel free to inquire about these kids.

Kimiko Yukihira

DoB: 27th of June I Daughter of Soma Yukihira and Erina Nakiri | Loves Playing Cards & Grocery Shopping | Dislikes Materialism & Being Called “Kimiko-Sama”

An friendly and optimistic young aspiring chef entering Totsuki as a transfer student in her first year of highschool. Was taught the so-called Yukihira-Style and is therefore known for her creativity. Greatest aim is to create a dish in which her mom can find no fault in.

Hiroshi Aldini-Tadokoro

DoB: 25th of May I Son of Isami Aldini and Megumi Tadokoro | Loves Plushies & Fishing | Dislikes Cigarette Smoke & Dark Humor

A shy but practically angelic guy from Tohoku. Looks out for others a lot, which also shows in his cooking. Very well-versed in both Japanese cooking as well as Italian cooking. Often falls into the shadow of his much bolder cousin, but doesn’t make any attempts to get out of said shadow.

Kaori Hayama

DoB: 17th of February I Daughter of Akira Hayama and Hisako Arato | Loves Gardening & Pastel Colors | Dislikes Mess & Snails

The current valedictorian of the 115th Generation, who more than often gets a sort of nobility attributed to her by the rest of the students. Known as the “Gatekeeper to the Fountain of Eternal Youth” or “Youth Preserver” for short, as her medicinal cooking is famous for energizing it’s customers. Has her goal firmly set on the top of Totsuki and has no interest in socializing whatsoever.

Mika Aldini

DoB: 9th of August I Daughter of Takumi Aldini and Ikumi Mito | Loves Dancing & Romance Movies | Dislikes Rain & Gardening

A fiery, bold girl from Tuscany, who appeared in Totsuki as a transfer student in her second year of middle school. Specialised in Italian Food as well as the usage of Meat. Up to any kind off challenge thrown her way.

Lola Nakiri

DoB: 17th of November I Daughter of Ryo Kurokiba and Alice Nakiri | Loves Limousines & Heavy Metal | Dislikes The Color Pink & Being Bored

The daughter of the headmistress who’s certain she can do whatever she wants. Well-versed in the usage of Seafood and utilization of Molecular Gastronomy, but known for putting more focus on the Seafood-aspect of her dishes. Teases everyone and anyone with no mercy.

Mona Nakiri

DoB: 17th of November I Daughter of Ryo Kurokiba and Alice Nakiri | Loves Techno Music & RomComs | Dislikes Hot Weather & Rap/HipHop

The other daughter of the headmistress who’s much more quieter and reserved than her twin-sister. Known for making use of seafood fairly well, but her true passion lies in Molecular Gastronomy. Just wants friends but is actually very socially awkward.

Takayuki Hojo

DoB: 6th of September I Son of Terunori Kuga and Miyoko Hojo | Loves Fireworks & Pudding | Dislikes Operas & Complete Silence

The grouchy, easy-to-trigger little brother of the president of the Chinese RS. Being part of the RS himself, Takayuki also specializes in Chinese cuisine mainly having his focus on Sichuan Food. Absolutely hates commentary on his shortness.

Kazuo Mimasaka

DoB: 9th of March I Son of Subaru Mimasaka and Nao Sadatsuka | Loves Every Romance Cliche Out There & His Camera | Dislikes Mika’s Fanclub & Aggressive Dogs Barking

A very eccentric member of the 115th Generation who easily scares people with his mere presence. Truth be told, he’s completely harmless. Traces other people’s work but adds his personal spin on it by working in foul-smelling ingredients. Has a massive crush on Mika Aldini and is a hopeless romantic.

Yasu Ibusaki

DoB: 2nd of March I Son of Shun Ibusaki and Ryoko Sakaki | Loves Forest Walks & Adzuki Bean Paste | Dislikes Gossiping & Tight Clothes

A peaceful and friendly young man, whose gentleness often gives off a big-brother-vibe to many. Knows a lot about Fermenting and produces his own Sake, I mean Rice Juice. His true passion is in the art of smoking however. Much more competitive than he lets on.

Chieko Marui

DoB: 5th of December I Daughter of Zenji Marui and Yuki Yoshino | Loves Chess & Matcha | Dislikes Metal Music & Irresponsibility

A highly intelligent girl and the ace of the Enomoto-Seminar that focuses on literacy-research about cooking. Incorporates said research excellently into her dishes while additionally having a talent for Wild Game, even taking interest in breeding. Known fairly well for loud complains and long rants, usually referring to her dormmates.

Hideyoshi Kawashima

DoB: 19th of August I Son of Shoji Sato and Urara Kawashima | Loves Himself & Parties (in Chieko’s room) | Dislikes Broken Mirrors & Studying

The overly arrogant emcee who’s known to host a bunch of events on Totsuki. Through and through an attention-whore who does has a fair share of admires though, being honest. Spends all of this time where he is not loudly praising himself with bickering either with Daisuke or Chieko.

Daisuke Aoki

DoB: 26th of October I Son of Daigo Aoki and Yua Sasaki | Loves Retro Stuff (mostly 70s and 80s) & His Guitar | Dislikes Horror Movies & Dangerous Animals

A soft-spoken and shy emcee who hosts Shokugekis and other sort off events on Totsuki. Much more friendly than his childhood-friend Hideyoshi, but overlooked regardless most of the time. Bickers a ton with Hideyoshi.

Emi Kusunoki

DoB: 25th of July I Daughter of Rentaro Kusunoki & Mea Yanai | Loves Saunas & The Smell of Gasoline | Dislikes Still Being Without a Boyfriend & Libraries

An often brash young girl who’s also known as the major Gossip Girl on Totsuki, that loves to hear and share all kinds of rumors around. Specializes in Heating. Wishes for a boyfriend with a motorcycle.

Itsuki Kumai

DoB: 10th of March I Son of Shigemichi Kumai and Rui Kofuru | Loves Self-Deprecative Humor & Edgy Rock Bands | Dislikes Colorful Clothes & Phone Ringing

Very silent but also awfully pessimistic. Itsuki has a large talents with vegetables and herbs, as he tries to cook as vegetarian as Totsuki’s tasks allow him to. Additionally he has large knowledge around the cuisine of North-Africa. Forgot how to smile long ago.

114th Generation (The 2nd Years who constantly argue for the most part)

Hiraku Yukihira

DoB: 13th of April I Son of Soma Yukihira and Erina Nakiri | Loves All Thing Decadent & Squid | Dislikes Laundry & Elite 10 Paperwork

Ever since entering Totsuki as a transfer student a year ago, Hiraku quickly worked himself upwards as one of the most, if not the most, admired chef of the school. His sensitive sense of taste, the so-called “Tongue Blessed by Angels” or “Holy Tongue” for short gives him a great advantage at cooking. He’s awfully unorganized however and much of a dense airhead.

Akio Hayama

DoB: 26th of February I Son of Akira Hayama and Hisako Arato | Loves Clipboards & Traveling to the Middle East | Dislikes Stains & Organizing Hiraku’s Fanmail

Hiraku’s loyal and diligent secretary, who does not seem to mind just how chaotic Hiraku can be sometimes. Inherited his father’s sense of smell and is therefore outstandingly talented in the usage of spices and creating fragrant dishes. Very friendly but also easily nervous.

Suzume Hojo

DoB: 11th of April I Daughter of Terunori Kuga and Miyoko Hojo | Loves Memes & Fans | Dislikes Sitting Still & Sexism

The bouncy, energetic president of the Chinese RS. Therefore of course specializes in Chinese Cuisine. Much of a laid-back jokester but does look out for the younger students and takes certain matters fairly serious. Shouldn’t be underestimated.

Shigeo Eizan

DoB: 29th of November I Son of Etsuya Eizan and Nene Kinokuni | Loves His Smartphone & Jazz Music | Dislikes Slow or No Internet & Suzume’s Jokes

A materialistic, cold-hearted young man who’s already involved in consulting-work despite the young age. His cooking relies on his intensive knowledge on the chemical components in his ingredients and how to utilize them. Is incredibly intelligent and fairly good at tricking people into trusting him.

Ai Kabutoyama

DoB: 25th of January | Daughter of Tetsuji Kabutoyama | Loves Violin Music & Butterflies | Dislikes Loud Noises & Movies Without A Happy Ending

A very silent and distant young girl, who barely ever talks to anyone but wears an almost constant miserable expression. Specialized in utilizing Skewers. Friendly but insanely Short-Cut whenever she does speak.

Beatrice Shiratsu

DoB: 9th of July I Daughter of Julio Shiratsu | Loves Posing & Making Lists | Dislikes Video Games & Bad DJs

A girl that can often be rather extravagant but all-things-considered she’s very open and rather sweet. Specializes in Italian Cuisine. Loves partying and is very occupied with savoring the life of a teenager as long as she can.

113th Generation (The Third Years, where most of the classmates have been removed already)

Noboru Shinomiya

DoB: 29th of April I Son of Kojiro Shinomiya and Hinako Inui | Loves Painting Landscapes & Autumn | Dislikes Unreliableness & Getting Bothered on his Day-Offs

Noboru is a serious young man who values organization, structure and a good environment. Gets easily annoyed when such things are not provided. Shows great talent in both Japanese cuisine and French cuisine and feels greatly torn between the two. Wants relaxation.

Kiyoko Saito

DoB: 21st of February I Daughter of Somei Saito and Momo Akanegakubo | Loves Shopping & Kimonos | Dislikes Untidiness & Disrespect from younger Students

Kiyoko is a proper but spoiled young lady who’s friendly as long as she receives the respect she thinks she deserves. She’s specialized in Japanese Sweets, but does know how to make Western desserts as well plus Sushi of course. Very fashionable and has a booming Instagram.

Masashi Eizan

DoB: 13th of May I Son of Etsuya Eizan and Nene Kinokuni | Loves Classical Japanese Music & Kiyoko’s Daifuku | Dislikes Everything He Considers Indecent & Being told to rely too much on his Father and his little Brother Shigeo

Masashi is overly serious and strongly values rules and customs. Considers himself superior than practically everyone on Totsuki, save for Noboru and Kiyoko. Specializes in Traditional Japanese Cuisine and is known for an extraordinary talent with Soba. Has a very short temper.

Ran Mimasaka

DoB: 1st of June I Daughter of Subaru Mimasaka | Loves Her Motorcycle & Her Laptop | Dislikes Bullying & Not Being Active For Too Long

Ran is a calm, friendly girl but also slightly witty young woman. She utilizes foul-smelling ingredients for her dishes. Ran is also often perceived to be the “most normal” one of the Mimasaka-sibling. In actuality, she’s excellent at fishing and gaining information and is incredibly informed about basically every person walking Totsuki.

116th (The 3rd Years of Middle School)

Moe Saito

DoB: 20th of December I Daughter of Somei Saito and Momo Akanegakubo | Loves Balletts & Bears (primarily Pandas) | Dislikes People She Doesn't Know Touching Her Ribbon & Ripped Jeans

Moe is very stoic and barely ever truly emotes. Should she ever actually smile, its a sign of her being beyond happy. She’s a Sushi-Chef whose main gimmick it is to make the Sushi as cute as possible. Also has a great talent for Bentos and while it’s not her main focus, she does know how to make desserts. Speaks dryly but also very bluntly.

118th (The 1st Years of Middle School)

Kei Eizan

DoB: 5th of July I Son of Etsuya Eizan & Nene Kinokuni | Loves Video Games & Tigers | Dislikes Ties & The Scent of Coffee

Kei often has troubles with making a good first impressions as he’s rather grouchy or even aggressive at points and also makes usage of a very foul language. Not to mention the reputation attached to his surname. He does have a good heart however and an actual sense for justice, which shows in his friendship with the frequently bullied Ayano Mimasaka who he befriends and would protect at all costs.

Ayano Mimasaka

DoB: 30th of October I Daughter of Subaru Mimasaka & Nao Sadatsuka | Loves Lewis Carroll’s “Alice In Wonderland” & Sewing | Dislikes People Pulling her Braids & Physics Class

Ayano is a fairly eccentric but innocent, little girl who just happens to have a number of a bit more outlandish interests as well as a creepy laugh and the tendency to pop out of nowhere. She got heavily bullied in her life already just because many consider her weird and scary.
