single release by Jorja Smith, supposedly off of upcoming falling or flying later in September. - - i love the hints of orchestration that backs up the pulsating production here. definitely interested in seeing how falling or flying fares upon release!
For AMM: Barbie (2023) is incredibly aro-friendly. I don't want to get too deep into spoilers but there is an extended scene that discusses how a) romance doesn't solve everything and b) that for some folks, romance isn't really an option and that's ok. Also has a lot to say about people who define themselves solely by their romantic relationships and how that isn't healthy or good for anyone. Honestly one of the best films I've seen to challenge the concept of amatonormativity and compulsory romance in general. In terms of romance, there's a married couple, there are a lot of romantic partnerships, and a few discussions of romantic love. But it all pays off in a super aro-friendly way. 5/5 film

mofo gay love sketchbook studies referenced off of a Pexels photographer's library, credit to Ketut Subiyanto!. it took some digging around for specific and/or related photos on that site without helpful filters and whatnot so using Google image searching to prioritize exact ideas within it pretty much helped. they offered a plentitude of overall nice stuff to go snoop around for.
i'm working off of personal assumptions that Subiyanto is not there anymore with most latest pic being from 2020 and it doesn't seem like they're present anywhere else online... i sincerely hope they're doing well in life offline rn considering how chaotic and scary life could've become for anyone when 2020 arrived. :(
