✦ JTTW CYBERPUNK AU

✦ I've decided to make my take for an Cyberpunk AU of JTTW as well! These are the designs I thought about the gang. This is only the "basic base", in another day I will create a more detailed reference sheet. c:<

✦ You're probably asking "oh Bread/Brenda, you already have a cyberpunk AU." Yes, I do. But it is a Lego Monkie Kid AU and I'll call it Cyberattack and use it's tag. That it got the same stuff LMK got, like Macaque and Wukong being friends in the past, the Monkey gang and ETC.

And the JTTW Cyberattack AU I will simply call just Cyberpunk, which this one is heavily inspired by the original novel. So no MK here or the monkie gang.

So, some characters will act differently from each other from these AUs because the said characters i often see them with two different point of views and ways to act or designs. 🧍‍♀️

(I'm weird, I apologize for that.)

✦ And...Yes. I'm a big nerd with high technology and aesthetic hyperfixation.

Part 2 of my favorite JTTW graphic novel scenes because I ran out of picture space

Wukong’s interactions with children is my absolute favorite thing ever, I’ve only seen/read a few adaptations but I’ve heard that he’s super gentle and playful around kids in multiple of them and it’s so sweet!

I can’t even really explain why I like these panels so much, I just enjoy the dialogue a lot :)

HIS FIRST INSTINCT IS TO PROTECT THE BABY

Wukong interacting with children >>>>>> anything, also he has clearly taken care of monkey infants on Mount Huaguo, just look at how properly he’s holding the baby my heart

Yup. Great way to end a monster fight. Getting peed on. Karma is a bitch, Wukong

Honestly I just really want to see all of the pilgrims interacting with and taking care of a kid, I think it would be so cute

(Also, for those who haven’t read JTTW: Great Sage Equal to Heaven = Wukong, Heavenly General = Wujing)

Situation: Ladies begin to roll up to the demon-pig and the river demon, and their interest is real and sparkling. Ladies can flirt with them and give gifts, IN SHORT, girls in love! They are not interested in Wukung and the monk!

Bottom line: How will the team react to this situation?

Hello hello! It's okay! English is not my first language either! :D For fun, I just pick Pigsy to get all the attention because I think it's funny! (Also I wanted to do a quick design for Sandy! :D) Hope it's okay! ❤️ But oh boy! The place where there are only women is too much for the gang! Sandy is just confused yet worried for Pigsy. Tripitaka is just happy that he can be safe for at least 10 minutes while Reader got another history reminder that made her very uncomfortable. While she got weird looks for being 25, not married and clearly she is a foreigner. People don't see people like her much. And Wukong is just being Wukong. The ego of that pig will rise again and it will make him annoyed

Don't worry they didn't leave Pigsy!

The long awaited part 2. Now reader has given the pilgrims another reasons to argue amongst themselves.

Also a nice contribution to the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie. I watched it with my sister on opening day and I LOVE IT!! Definitely a great cinematic experience for long time fans of the franchise. School has been meddling with my drawing so I wasn’t able to finish some of my drawings. But more is yet to be posted. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll watching FNAF for the 100th time.

You think Wukong would make Bajie his unwilling wingman? Like not in the regular way more like “Hey Y/N I need to be close to you at all times because Bajie can’t be trusted. Don’t worry I’ll protect you 😤”

Bajie, and by extension other demons or even townsfolk become his excuse anytime he wants to be close without saying he wants to be close.

Like Bajie is bad about his habits sure but he does make it clear every time Wukong tries it that he wouldn’t do that!! Honest! Y/N knows that Wukong is just bullshitting and unable to express what he wants without his pride getting in the way, but it is kinda cute how he tries so hard to not be obvious.

“Hey I heard Bajie was gonna try something tonight so I’m gonna sleep right here next to you. Don’t look to into ok I’m just doing this for your safety-“

“Hold onto me while we walk through town. Don’t want anyone getting any smart ideas about separating you from the rest of the group.”

“I’ll be on guard while you bathe. Don’t want you getting jumped by a demon or something while your vulnerable- what do you mean Wujing would be better for this!? No it doesn’t matter that he’s a water demon I’m doing it and that’s final.”
