it's so funny to me that weathertaro is much more insanely popular compared to Puccitaro/Jotapucci, like the ship with the same person but with the different twins is just to funny to me

I love weathertaro, I made an entire page of my sketchbook for them

BUT IM SO INSANE ABOUT JOTAPUCCI IS SO FREKIN FUNNY AND INSANE TO ME, they're are just so special to me, I dedicated an entire full on drawing about them, I love them okokokok.

I'm actually having to think super hard on this because I don't think I have many opinions that wouldn't be obvious to regular non-freaks (such as he was not in love with Dio, etc).

The first thing that pops into my head is that I hate when people make Pucci into Vanilla Ice 2 in fanworks, making Pucci call Dio 'Lord Dio' and all that. While Dio probably very much did just see Pucci as a follower, Pucci saw Dio as a friend - he just called him Dio!

I know this is just Fandom Grievances now, but I also find it weird to ship Pucci with any of Dio's sons. Not only are they quite young for him, he also fuckin' hates all of them lmao?? All of Donatello's arc was Pucci going "Jolyne is so much better than you in every way Donatello".

And of course everyone already knows that I don't think Pucci hated Whitesnake, nor was he overjoyed to lose him in favour of C-Moon lol

i think a part of the issue with pucci is that aside from like. jojo fans not having reading comp and not getting characters who are even a little bit more complex than saturday morning baby cartoon characters, as well as the way that general antiblackness and racism makes them simplify him further. its like hes also a character who will very quickly bring out the evil in yaoi addicts bc the most popular ships for him are 1. a guy he knew as a child whos also effectively his groomer and 2. his twin brother. like people who are so shipper brained they cant interact with characters with out that lense will look at that and go ”Welllllll i guess i have to…” like you actually dont. hello.

#i mean there are normal pucci ships too like jotapucci kakyoinpucci (i think theyre funny) and shipping him with other villains but LOL………..#theyre like oooh gun to myy head i must…… if i dont mangle the characters and put them in aus to make it work then aaahhh ill dieeeee #if a child was on his death bed dying from cancer and his last wish was to ship d*opucci would i let him?
