I wrote fanfiction for the first time ever in my life. it’s a little jonnybrian cuddling and also I added my headcanon about part of how their mechanisms work because I wanted to.

this is the sideblog of @pride-dragon42 but you’re more likely to know me as @allthedoorsareopennow.

Jonny nuzzled closer to Brian, burying his face in Brian’s shirt. The metal of his chest was hard and unforgiving, but Jonny didn’t care; a gentle warmth from within radiated through the spcotton, so unlike Jonny’s own mechanism; the metal of his heart was cold to the touch and the chill deep inside him seemed to seep out from within, dulling his emotions and making him want to curl up and hide. He usually overcompensated with big, dramatic outbursts, fighting the encroaching cold and despair by being the loudest in any room and slaughtering all who crossed him, but not now. He was tired, so tired of it all. His eyelids dropped as he finally allowed exhaustion to overtake him, curled up against Brian’s chest, a fistful of Brian’s shirt clenched in his hand.

After a moment of hesitation, Brian’s hand came to rest in Jonny’s hair, gently stroking it with his thumb. With his other hand, he began to slowly unbutton his shirt. He gently pushed Jonny‘s head away as he undid the buttons Jonny had been leaning on and Jonny grunted slightly in annoyance, before settling again, pressing his face against Brian’s bare chest with a noise of contentment. Brian rested his arm around Jonny’s shoulders, gently hugging him closer; its solid, heavy presence was grounding and comforting, and Jonny melted into sleep.

Jonny is "helping" if you will.

something about jonny and brian’s mechanisms being the inverse of each other jonny’s only mechanical part being his heart and brian’s only organic part being his heart. yeah. they have a friendly or not-so-friendly rivalry but also they are dating

20. have you ever cosplayed as a mechanism? if not, would you? who would you be?

I have not but I would like to, I would probably be jonny and fail miserably at the makeup
