I finished watching season 44 of Survivor, and I would have loved for the final 3 to be Carolyn, Yam Yam and Carson. But at least we got the 2 out of 3 of them. Sad that Carolyn got no votes, tho.

I’ve only watched a few seasons of survivor, but I liked season 44 so much because I didn’t hate any of the contestants. There were a couple annoying ones that got voted out somewhat early, but the way they all got along so well and genuinely cared about each other while also playing the game was so nice to watch. sometimes one of them would take it personally if they were voted against when they were told the vote would go a different way, but then they were over it in like a day.

Also, I appreciated that people actually wore clothes this season and didn’t run around in bikinis 24/7

Plus, Carolyn was so much fun and also Yam Yam was funny as heck.

Matt and Frannie were so cute. Nerd love.

I recently watched the Fans vs Favorites season (i think it was maybe season 16), and man, they had some horrible people in that season. Like, conniving and mean. So stressful to watch. I think there were like a couple people that I liked and they were voted out or left pretty early. Weirdly, I liked Jonathan Penner in that season, which I am annoyed about bc of the way he acted like a scorned husband in season 25 when Lisa Welchel voted him off at the final 5 and he “outed” her as a former teen star to the jury out of spite.

I wasn’t a fan of the Blood vs Water season, either. Something about the way they treated each other that season also left a bad taste in my mouth.

So yeah, I really enjoyed season 44 and I liked season 25 a lot, too. I think Malcolm should have made it to the final 3 instead of Denise even though Denise won lmao. Lisa or Malcolm should have won, imo.

I think I like Survivor so much because every season is so different, socially. Like just the group of people they choose has a different dynamic every time and different casts play their own way, which is usually different from season to season in certain aspects.

I wonder if Jeff Probst is ever going to get tired of hosting this show. It’s been on for 23 years.

I am just a little guy with a little dog and a little self-esteem. I work as a Sales Administrator full-time, but in my spare time I game, read, and write. My favorite novels include "Beloved" by Toni Morrison, "Red, White, and Royal Blue" by Casey McQuiston, and "Quicksand" by Nella Larsen (which I wrote my senior thesis on). I'm still deciding if I wanna go to grad school in the future, but I would go for a PhD in English because I'm a big nerd. If I were a snack, I'd be a fruit roll-up.
