My 16-year-old cat is on this arthritis medication called Solensia. It’s an injection that he has to get once a month, and it’s almost like a miracle. I had been noticing some signs of arthritis, specifically in the way he walks up stairs, so I brought it up to my vet and she suggested that my cat tries it. I didn’t notice much of a difference after the first shot, but then after the 2nd shot and all of the subsequent ones, there’s such a huge difference. While he does still limp when he walks up the stairs, he can jump up on the couches and bed with no problem. He had started to dig his nails in when he jumped onto furniture because he was having trouble jumping high enough. He chases the laser and light reflections again like he used to, and he gets the zoomies at night. Today I heard him playing with one of his toys, and sort of playing catch with himself where he flings it in the air and then runs after it. He sounded like a horse galloping up and down the hallway. It’s so wonderful to see (and hear) him acting like this again. The arthritis had developed slowly over time and I hadn’t realized the things he had stopped doing so much until he’s able to do them again now. 🥹

Ok and I have a question to add- what happens when you think back on a book that you’ve read? Do you see the same images as when you read the book? I do.
While I’m reading it it’s like a whole movie in my mind for the most part, with made up actors, and I don’t hear words. I think it’s occasionally just snapshots of the scene also. Usually it’s seen from my POV as the main character. When I think back on it it’s usually snapshots of scenes that I see, but not playing out like a movie.
If you are watching a TV show, it can be live action or animated.
But not when you're reading a book. Much to think about.
