crying because all father paul wanted was to spend eternity being a part of his family and loving them. he left so much suffering in his wake but he was doing it all to right his past wrongs and love who he wanted to love and properly be part of his daughter’s life instead of just watching her from afar. he just wanted a second chance but he was far too late, and by the end all of his good intentions didn’t make up for the lives lost and the pain he caused, and when he realized what he’d done all he wanted was to die beside the woman he loved
