How Lookism Guys Fall in Love with YOU + personal hc

Requested. If you can't tell how repetitive I am from my masterlist, here it is all side by side to show you exactly the sort of tropes I like a LOT. Sorta hc, sorta the storylines-ish I like to write.

Strangers to Lovers

Johan Seong

Meeting Johan and bonding through his pups. You don't even need to show him kindness. Show Eden and Miro kindness and you will enter his thoughts regardless.

A cliched way to a man's heart is his stomach. Feed Johan up too to up the relationship.

Lots of emotional maturing needed for Johan to understand what the hell is going on. Pulls away to get some distance yet always ends up by your side. He can't help it. Eventually just gives in.

Goo Kim

While I personally dislike the love at first sight trope, this guy would absolutely double take if there was something that caught his eye and then he would be his normal extroverted and clingy self to get to know you.

This fucking charmer. Yes he's annoying, but even then he gets under your skin and you can't help falling for him too.

Also a fan of the hot-and-cold-casual-fuck-buddies dynamic. He'll see you every day for a week, wake up in your bed then ghost you for a month. Rinse and repeat. After a little while - oh. Goo realises he misses you.

Samuel Seo

Ah the oh-shit-I-caught-feelings-when-we-were-just-casually-fucking-and-no-strings-attached pining.

Meeting at somewhere like a corporate event or even in a club.

Lots of inner turmoil as he gets to grips with his emotions and how to deal with you. A little bit of push and pull before he eventually admits how he feels.

Ryuhei Kuroda/Xiaolong

Just meeting someone, anyone who is the opposite of Mitsuki and Vivi. Showing them what a normal healthy person, with normal healthy interests looks like. Show them kindness, show them your sweet smile, show them you don't want anything apart from just them and they will fall for you.

Ryuhei - Not really much guilt with moving on from Mitsuki because face it. They weren't exactly anything.

Xiaolong - oof. The most angsty hurt/comfort you can think of.

Friends (classmates) to Lovers

Zack Lee

Long-ish time friend, but nothing progressed due to his feelings for Mira. Gradually circumstances bring you both closer together. Tending to his wounds, school projects, maybe even shopping for a gift for Mira.

Start to see you in a new light. Deals with a lot of denial at first and then later, guilt. Unsurprisingly, it's Mira that notices the change in Zack and encourages him to pursue you.

Vasco Tabasco/Jace Park

Classmate of theirs through J-high or knew them from middle school. Help to tutor Vasco or just generally up to some shit with Jace. Maybe playing detective.

Not involved with Burn Knuckles, but you might as well be. With Vasco or Jace, the rest of the crew treats you with the same level of respect as their No.1/2 and will protect you at all costs.

Relatively straightforward friends to lovers, with all the worries of gang shit.

Vin Jin

Love the idea of Vin Jin, Mary and You being best buds together. Either from Cheonliang or you getting closer to Vin through Mary once they attend J-High.

An absolute asshole though he is a little softer towards you. Takes him a while to fall for you and see you in a new light. Is so used to you as a friend that it will take someone else interfering or an event.

See masterlist for someone asking you on a date or Vin seeing you in his Cheonliang jacket heh (the latter really breaks his brain).

Jake Kim

Childhood friend to lovers. You knew him before he joined Big Deal and/or while he was a tall lanky middle school kid.

Always had a soft spot for you. Walking you home from school, spending evenings in the library messing around, hanging in the park. Once he joined Big Deal and you started high school, it added some distance between you but Jake still could never get you off his mind.

Eventually reconciling and slow burn into lovers. Dealing with all the usual angst of Jake putting you in danger and risking your safety by being with him. Hint: he gets over it eventually. Or else it turns into angsty regret (my personal fave!).

DG/James Lee

You know him from his James Lee days and go way back. Either classmates together or another very typical show-him-a-little-kindness and then wormed your way into his heart.

Sees you more and more, and no matter what, you're never judgemental of him and you're able to talk to him like a normal human being - which is a rarity. Growing closer together until he starts to confide in you. One day, James just realises you're the closest person to him and he likes you. You have grown and grown on him until it's obvious and completely hits him over the head with it.

Progress into lovers is very straightforward. You stick with him through thick and thin. Even with his transition into DG, you're the one constant in his life that he keeps close by and protects.

Eli Jang

Know Eli from his J-high days and always been good buddies with you. Sure you could tell he's good looking but you didn't put him on a pedestal.

Eventually growing closer to him and also meeting Yenna. Which is a huge step, by the way. Eli is so goddamn protective of her and when you are both introduced he thinks 'huh? this is? nice??'. Loves the idea of a happy family.

Bit of angst dealing with the death of Heather and moving on with you.

+ Daniel Park, Jay Hong, Warren Chae, Hudson Ahn, Kwak bros

Colleague/Crew Member to Lovers

Gun Park/Goo Kim

The third partner and completing the Gun/Goo/You trifecta. Teaming up with Goo to piss off Gun or with Gun to become the sassiest, most fearsome duo and a headache for the blonde.

Eugene/Samuel Seo

Working alongside and rising through the ranks, impressing them with your competency that they have no choice but to take notice of you. They struggle treading the line between professionalism and falling for you.

Jake Kim/Sinu Han

Big Deal crew member, joining and working your way into the Boss's heart. Another one for lots of pining and slow burn as they try not to fall for you because they feel it's pretty inappropriate.

Another favourite little scenario: you working on Big Deal street. Either taking up an empty premise or working in a store or restaurant and catching their eye. Flirtation abound especially when they visit you when you should be working and prove to be an awful distraction.

YANDERE SEUNG EUN HAN(JOHAN SEONG) HEADCANONS

I feel so bad for what he has to go through, he does NOT deserve whatever he has to go through

You'd meet Johan Seong when his dog Eden would run off from him as usual. He was hunting for Eden as usual when he spotted him with you, you were petting his head and stroking his ears as Johan smiled softly to himself, glad to see that Eden was okay and he struck up a conversation with you. The two of you would talk for a while and Johan would be lying if he said he didn't like your company. He actually liked spending time with you and wanted to spend more time with you, which was something he didn't feel since a long time. He wants to know more about you however his mind will be telling him to cool it for the time being. He's quite disappointed even when he doesn't show it that you have to leave, he wishes he could spend more time with you and get to know you better

He wouldn't exactly fall in love at first sight, he doesn't believe in the whole love at first sight thing and has a rather logical outlook on the world. With his mom's blindness and his decreasing sight, he knows the only way to survive in the world is if he gets stronger and has power. Falling in love was the last thing he'd ever wanted, so why was his heart racing wildly against his chest and his face felt warm and flushed whenever he kept seeing you? Perhaps he was getting sick...that could be the reason, he isn't supposed to fall in love. He'll keep denying his feelings for you at first but when he sees you with someone else he'll get really cranky and annoyed. Why the HELL are you hanging with some other random dude when you have him by your side? Is this a way of telling him that he's not good enough for you or something? You should have known you're supposed to be by HIS side since the day you've met Eden and him

He has abandonment issues and trust issues, a LOT. He'll do extensive research on your likes and dislikes and your personality and he'll have your habits memorized too. He literally BLENDS in with the shadows of the night which makes it easier for him to stalk you and tail you whenever you're going back to your house. He'll end up breaking into your house as well at some point maybe when you're away or something. He'll take in every single detail of your room and ensure Eden doesn't mess up your room. His eyes will land on the pictures of you with your friends and his expression will darken slightly. He doesn't care if they're people from your past but he does hope you're in contact with them any longer, else he'll have to make a few house calls

He'll take a few 'souvenirs' for himself as well, not major things which you would realize would be missing, small things like your pens, pencils, your favorite lip gloss so he can imagine what it would be like to kiss those beautiful soft lips of yours...He has insecurities as well, he's worried you'll leave him like everyone else one day and that can't happen. The thought of losing you scares him, he can't lose you. He gets annoyed when someone else tries to steal you away from him, it just pisses him off to the core. Once you've left, he'll deal with that pest immediately by breaking their bones or just straight up murdering them. He shows NO mercy to those lousy scumbags who want to take you from him. The other day while you were speaking to one of the guys from your school, you didn't realize he was being too flirty with you and touchy with you, you failed to observe the slightly perverted look in his eyes but someone noticed it all right. A certain brown haired guy who always followed you around noticed it from the shadows, dressed in his usual black hoodie, white shirt and red sweatpants as his fists clenched till his nails dug into his skin

After you left, Johan followed the guy back to his house and just as he was about to enter his house, he grabbed him by his hair and dragged him to the back of the alley nearby and slammed him against the wall as he warned him in a ominous tone to stay the hell away from you as he beat him unconscious to a bloody pulp. If he decides to ignore his words, he could always pay a night visit to get rid of him permanently. You have to hand it to him, he's determined when he wants to be. When he's determined to make you his in every way and manner possible, you better believe he's willing to do whatever the HELL it takes for that to happen. At frist he'll cleverly isolate you from your friends with slight emotional manipulation and guilt tripping from his side till you realize what's happening and it'll be too late for you to do anything

Due to his insecurities and fears and all the immense paranoia of losing you, he'll kidnap you quicker than expected

You'll wake up in his house and you'll be confused why Eden is with you, nuzzling his head against your hand. Johan would just calmly walk into the room and tell you what he did with a stoic look on his face while you'll be freaking out and panicking at what happened. He'll be slightly annoyed with you panicking, why are you getting scared? He's doing this for your own good, he's protecting you and saving you from every single thing that could potentially harm you. You should be glad, but he'll feel slightly bad when he sees you crying. He'll let out a soft sigh and grumble slightly as he'll wipe your tears with his thumb and caress your cheek softly and lovingly as he'll make some food for you. Don't think of abstaining yourself from eating or starving yourself, he'll just make you sit on his lap and feed you as he shoves mouthfuls of food into your mouth. You're eating one way or another and he'll make sure of that even if he has to FORCE you to eat and take care of yourself

He's closed off and stoic around other people but he's like a hurt innocent child when he's around you. He feels like he can trust you, you've managed to tear down those barriers and walls caging his heart so it's a big deal when he starts telling you his feelings. When you hold him for the first time and hug him, it takes him all his will power and self control not to just tear up in your arms. He'll sigh in content as he'll pull you closer to him and bury his face in the nape of your neck. Yeah, whatever plans you've had afterwards will have to wait because once you're in his arms he'll refuse to let you go, clinging onto you like a leech or moss on the bottom of a rock

Did I mention he was incredibly clingy too? He NEEDS to be around you, he'll hug you from behind whenever you're doing something. Even when you're sleeping he doesn't let you be, he'll be the big spoon as he pulls you closer to him to cuddle with you and he feels like he's protecting you from something. Just humor him unless you want to deal with him being sulky, grumpy and annoyed for the rest of the day. Literal embodiment of a puppy sometimes, with murderous pent up rage. Growing up, he didn't really have a lot of attention. He always had to shoulder responsibilities and he just needs someone to tell him they're proud of him and show him some affection. Even the slightest touch from you will send his mind into an overdrive and he'll start blushing and become flustered. He likes it when you pet his head and he likes giving you kisses on your head and your hand or nuzzling his cheek against yours. See, he does have his soft moments at times. He might not be able to afford really fancy and expensive stuff given with his mom's eye surgery but he's willing to buy and make small things for you to see you smile. Besides, it's the thought and the actions that counts more than the gifts in his opinion

Don't escape from him for both of your sakes. If he returns back to find you gone, his dread and paranoia will start to settle in as he realizes his worst fear of losing you is coming true. However he'll compose himself as he's determined to find you no matter what. He'll have Eden track you down by identifying your scent and you can be DAMN sure he'll lead Johan to you. Johan will give you an icy glare as he drags you back home. Scream, kick, cry he doesn't care, he will not put up with your little temper tantrums. He won't hurt you physically but he'll yell at you for leaving him with tears running down his face, angry and hurt that you've betrayed him and he'll start with the guilt tripping of how Zack, his mother, everyone left him and how people like Gun took advantage of him to tug at your heart strings

It will be quite a long time for him to trust you again. He'll calm down eventually but that doesn't mean you're off the hook either. He'll punish you by taking away your favorite items and FORCE you to cuddle with him every day till he's satisfied. You'll have to deal with him being suspicious and sulky for a while because of your little escape attempt. Every night he'll whisper in your ear about how you'll never be able to leave him. He doesn't feel guilty or bad even in the slightest that he's abducted you, he feels like it was necessary, you're HIS and only his. He's usually gentle and soft spoken towards you too. Under NO circumstances would he let you join God Dog, he doesn't want you fighting and getting hurt

He won't take it lightly when someone tries to take you from him. He'll deal with them quickly sending them to their literal death no matter who it is. He gets quite insecure of his eyes at times but his heart would melt when you comfort him about them which fuels his possessiveness towards you even more. Ultimately at the end of the day he just wants to come back to you, hug you and hold you in his arms and love you. Is that TOO much to ask?

Oh, no! You had a fight! Anyway...

— Jonggun: Oh, word? You had a fight? He didn't even notice. He was so calm through all of it, you probably got annoyed with him and left. He lets it sit for a few days so your anger has time to simmer down before he approaches you again.

If he was in the wrong, which he rarely believes he is, he will try to goad you into physical intimacy again to make it up for you. If not and he finds your distance too annoying, he'll try to buy your good grace back with materialistic means. Smh. Do it again Jonggun.

— Joongoo: Genuinely refuses to be wrong even when he knows he's wrong. Somewhere in the middle of the fight, Joongoo realizes you actually make sense but he's committed to it so he will argue to the end even if it means pissing you off for good.

Will try to give you the cold shoulder back but it lasts for like three days until he comes over to pester you again. When you continue to ignore him, he tries to throw that treatment right back but fails and then doubles down on pestering you until you give.

— Vasco: Let's be real, it's not an actual fight. You just got exasperated because he's too dense to be helped and no matter how you try to explain, he won't get it.

Jace has to intervene at some point to explain that Vasco is just slow, not ill-meaning. Once it clicks for him what's actually bothering you, Vasco is pretty quick to apologize even if it isn't his fault. He doesn't like to see you upset, after all.

— Daniel: It's eating him alive. He got a flight-or-flight instinct to your disappointed tone. You don't even have to raise your voice at him, he's already fawning over you. Unless he thinks it's crucial that he's in the right, Daniel is pretty fast to diffuse the tension.

Never want to reach the point of fighting with you ever. But in the days after the fight, his people-pleasing mode is dialled up to the thousands with you. Will do anything just to see you give him one of your smiles.

— Jake: Most of your arguments don't escalate to fights. Honestly, he's pretty good at containing the situation. He'd rather you calm and articulate your point better than trying to argue with you. Hell, even if you said the most illogical thing ever, he'll probably agree with you.

Typical "happy wife, happy life" guy in a relationship. He'll try to make it up for you whether he was in the wrong or not. However, you can see when he's really in the wrong, he's extremely sincere. Probably be softer with you for the rest of the month.

— Samuel: It's annoying to fight with him because you know he won't ever be the one to lose his temper... visibly first. Has the habit of getting demeaning and nasty once he's truly irritated. Will probably say something insulting that he totally means.

Go on ahead, hit him with a bri—okay, maybe don't choose violence. Genuinely speaking, the best method to deal with him during an argument is to stay as calm as he is. Don't even expect an apology if he was in the wrong, that's just asking for too much.

— Eli: Another prime example of letting you with about 98% of the argument. He will sometimes bicker back with you if he knows it's not a serious thing. Jokingly teases you if you get worked up about small matters, but ultimately tries to pacify you.

Think it's pretty cute when you lose your composure? Won't tell you that though, he knows he'll sleep on the couch if he did. Super quick on trying to apologize and calm you down if he thinks it's not worth it. However, he's super serious if the argument is about heavy matters.

— Johan: This one is going to argue right back if you get annoying enough for him. It's so not worth getting into an argument with him because he'll be a sore loser if he lost. He'll be pouty and irritable for days afterwards, even if he knew he was in the right.

You probably have to be the one who went to soothe him because of that. It's so easy for you to win back his good grace, just make his favourite food and wait for him to come out... doesn't that just sound like—

PATCHING (AND TAKING CARE OF )THEM

-> ft. bokuto (haikyuu); daniel park and johan seong (lookism); damian wayne and tim drake (dc comics);

KOUTARO BOKUTO

-> he got injured during training and made it a scandal. luckily you, the nekoma’s manager, was there to help him before it got worsen and since it was night, the others had already left the gym, leaving you and bokuto alone together.

-> his injuries wasn’t bad. a scrappy knee and a small cut on his hand, how did he get it? bokuto says he only remember the pain, so you keep focusing in getting him better for tomorrow.

-> bokuto was talking the entire situation or at least he tried. he often moved his knee or hand whatever you applied the remedies in the injuries, gaining a small scream of him and how much it hurt to feel the liquid in his injuries, making it difficult to help him.

-> he only stopped moving away when you promised a kiss if he didn’t move away anymore. that moment he become a statue and let you do the entire job without crying about it. In the end, he received that kiss you promised with such a big smile on his face.

DANIEL PARK

-> another day of getting beaten, daniel felt like trash and unfortunately, he knows that even moving away from Logan and began a new life with his two bodies, he can’t have the best in his original body.

-> he feels horrible knowing that he could easily avoid using his original body and live a better life, however he would lose you if he did it. you, the person, who made him gain the goal to get better.

-> arriving in seoul, you befriend him and took care of his injuries regardless of his appearance, you didn’t care about it and said that he is a nice person to have around. He is a fool to fall in love with you that moment! Daniel knows that and yet, it was the first time someone (not counting his mother) did something like that to him.

-> usually, you used to visit him at that convenience store and stay there with him for a few hours before taking a nap in the back, that was your little night routine. now that he streams, you sometimes make small appearances in his lives, mostly off screen since he is afraid to show you off, and now you two spend more time together.

JOHAN SEONG

-> he can’t afford to go to a hospital after getting injured during a fight, so he just layer down in alley, hoping to feel better when waking up and to move on with his scars.

-> surprise! that didn’t happen and johan wake up inside of a little house where he sees you taking care of him with gentle hands patching his injuries. he thought of running away and leaving this place rapidly as possible, yet having someone taking care of him is nice.

-> when you finish taking care of him, at least as much you could do as a teenager, you feed him of the leftovers from lunch and made extra food when realizing how starving he was. Johan expect you to ask for something in return, but you didn’t and gave him sandwiches before he left your house.

-> johan didn’t get why you did it, why did you help him? he is still asking himself that for a long time and probably will til the day he gain enough courage to approach you again instead of watching you from afar.

DAMIAN WAYNE

-> damian lied, he said that he would arrive earlier to play with alfred(the cat) at your side, but he didn’t and only got home after hours and hours of fighting crime in Gotham. that didn’t make you upset, that made you worry about him even more.

-> his usual black and green uniform is now drained red, full of cuts in body and he kept saying that is nothing, that a trained assassin knows how to take care of himself and yet, you keep crying to him to seat down and let him guide you to how to stitches in his back.

-> he was grateful of your best attempt on the stitches in his back, damian joked that you should become his personal doctor (you didn’t like that). as he expected, the bandages you put on him aren’t excellent, but still good for him heal correctly. He is happy to have someone like you at his side and he won’t ever let you go.

TIM DRAKE

-> he didn’t felt the stab at the moment and only realized when you screamed at him when he was doing a research in the batcave. you almost pass out for the amount of blood and tim almost jumped from your scream, however neither of that happened and you rushed to get the first kit aid.

-> it small and the stab didn’t got deep as you thought, making it easier to clean and patch tim. you are too focused to make him get better that you don’t notice how adorable you are, your toughest out of your mouth and how your hands hold him from moving away. Ah! He is lucky to have you in his life.

-> when done, you stood at his side, afraid that if you left him, his stitch would open and more blood would come out. In the other hand, tim knows that’s completely impossible to happen. He knew how precisely was his cut to know that wasn’t life threatening, he is a genius, yet you will never discover about it.

Ugh it's hard enough getting used to having a friend around. He had his whole lone wolf thing going on before you came along. And now he has to deal with feelings? What's that all about??

And the way Eden and Miro loves you? Stop. Stoooop. He works hard to try and repress his budding crush for you but why do you have to keep worming your way into his stone cold heart.

He's a weirdo at the best of times and now he's just extra odd. He stares at you. A lot. And he can't help but want to be by your side even when he pulls himself away. He catches himself smiling at you absentmindedly. When he realises what his stupid heart is doing he is annoyed and unfortunately it shows outwardly.

Don't even ask about his jealous tantrums. Yikes.

They're something else until he figures out what to do about this. Yeah he knows he's childish but even he is perceptive enough to realise how he acts around you isn't normal or healthy. But you mentioning spending time with other guys? How cool someone else is? Or sweet? Please don't, his poor lil heart can't take it.

Jake

Sigh. Maybe he should have reined it in with his flirtatious banter and winks. At first they were just empty words and innocent silliness. I mean, don't think about it too hard, he's like this with everyone.

But when he starts wanting a sincere reaction from you? And hoping for a grain of truth behind your teasing responses? He was doomed.

So yeah. He has a big old crush on you and he feels like he should really keep it a bit more professional as Big Deal No.1. Try as he might to restrain himself though, the honeyed words can't stop slipping from his lips. They just get more intense and sillier.

...And start to get completely directed at you. All of it. Well this is an interesting development that the rest of Big Deal take note of. Of course they notice their boss is soft on you. It's obvious.

If he learned one thing from Sinu, it's that mutual pining especially for over ten years does no one good. He's not a coward. He will confess, he just needs you to take him seriously.

Vasco

Listen. Our Vasco Tabasco is already commited. He's married to the Burn Knuckles and he's got bad guys to beat up. He's already tried his hand at dating and he knows what his priorities are so he doesn't have time for a crush-oh.

The realisation creeps up on him. He's dense but he's not that dense ok? He finds the way his cheeks warm and heart pounds strange when he's in your presence or talking to you. And yeah he may need a little help with Jace to realise what's going on but he does realise. Sooner or later.

Type of silly guy to start fantasising about all sorts of wholesomeness with you even whilst just crushing on you. What was that Jace? Just thinking about Y/N and if they think it would be cute if we shared a chocolate milk hehe.

It irks him when Goo is anyway involved with his personal life at the best of times, but when Goo points out he's getting soft on you? He finds this annoying, he finds YOU annoying. How dare Goo and how dare you and especially how dare himself.

Outwardly, he doesn't change how he behaves with you once he comes to terms with his feelings. It doesn't do well for him to try and develop his crush further.

But this man barely has a threadbare excuse for being topless most of the time, so what if he does it a little bit more in your presence?

And so what if he cuts back on smoking because it makes you cough? And wears his hair a little messier cos he found you staring at him a bit starry-eyed and slackjawed that time? And if he responds back to your texts a little quicker even if it's just saying "I'm fine"?

Are you going to fight him about it?

Goo

Mercy above, you're giving him a migraine.

athleticism just wayyy over the roof. he's the jock of all jocks atp

he actually follows a strict regimen, and manages to outdo himself every time

nah cus this mf drinks his pre-workout mix few mins before lunch... because he actually intends to do workout during lunch 💀

despite being disciplined when it comes to working out and focused on hitting a new personal record every time, he's just bad when it comes to maintaining a proper diet

liiiike discipline just goes out the window when you open a bag of chips. he's right there before your hand even touches inside the bag 😭

he doesn't skip class, he's always present. there are times when he dozes off but not every time. instead he's just doodling, looking out the window, or sneakily checking soc med on his phone. bottom line is he's awake but his ass isn't reading 💀💀

he's surrounded by a solid friend group so it's hard to approach him, but he goes to you first when he needs help w studies

he's still unbothered but not that unapproachable anymore. got close to the class by allowing everyone to play with his hair :0

jake's not really a bad student, but he skips the first period sometimes for a morning workout

he's a contender as a team captain so he really focuses on his sport, but at the same time he's lowkey diligent w/ his studies too

when he's in the mood to learn fr, he switches seats with another classmate who's seated in front. otherwise, he stays at the back and snoozes frm time to time

jake probs takes notes sometimes, but shitty handwriting 😭 he sometimes can't understand the shit he wrote cus he was falling asleep in class

great guy despite his popularity, so he doesn't have a hard time finding willing people to help him out in his studies (lending notes and reference materials)

he doesn't always have his homework with him, but he barely asks to copy

just a lil uncooperative with group projects, he literally dashes to the gym after class to train. he got his goals straight and ur project is at the bottom of the priority list. oh well :(

but really, nice guy. everybody's his friend and he's not hard to approach at all. lowkey fans would come up and take pics with him and he doesn't pose properly ever. always gotta look goofy ...

like his teammates can't even get mad at the obvious bias of people towards jake. jake's just so fucking nice

doesn't even have to bring lunch money cus ppl willing to pay for his meals from time to time. and he's a big eater 😭

gets accused of sweet talking his way out of some of his bad grades, being a teacher's pet bc even teachers love this guy. they give him lots of chances during recitations until he gets the answer right

he's in the middle of super athlete zack & chill athlete johan. like he's goal-oriented, disciplined, focused, but he's not obsessed

this guy never skips practice, but on the weekends he relaxes and chills w his friends at the mall/park/cafe

um he has a motivational quote as his lock screen haha.... he just the type to do it ....

and he really hates it when one of his classmates are getting picked on. singlehandedly ended bullying in his school, slay

Lookism Characters and Their Tastes in Music ♪ (Headcannons)

Daniel Park:

Daniel likes alternative/indie pop, Soul, and R&B. He likes any song that gives a chill vibe to it and songs with nice lyrics.

Khai Dreams, mxmtoon, Keshi, etc.

He enjoys listening to Lo-Fi too, while he just lays on the ground in his house, relaxing, contemplating about events in his life until he accidentally falls asleep.

Sometimes, he sends Jay a text message asking what songs he’d recommend and Jay would send him a three-page list of songs in an online document

Zack Lee:

Hip-hop, Rap, and R&B

Consists of hyped artists like Drake, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi, etc.

He used to be a big fan of Kanye West, but after Kanye’s multiple controversies, he stopped listening to his music because he now believes that he’s trash.

But on days when he feels down, he listens to artists like Joji. *insert Glimpse of Us here while Zack cries a river*

Vasco:

Vasco is into the older classic 60s-80s bands: Queen, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Journey, etc.

Prefers the oldies with meaningful lyricsm rather than the new songs on the radio

However, he enjoys listening to more of the earlier 2010s boy bands like One Direction, and Backstreet Boys from the 90s. (He even listens to that one song that Daniel and Duke made, on repeat since he asked Duke to send him a copy of that song.)

Doesn’t mind listening to some classic 70s songs from Air Supply, Bee Gees, Earth, Wind, and Fire, etc. in peaceful late night jogs

Jay Hong:

R&B and Soul (boujee tastes 💸)

Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Steve Lacy, Khali Uchis, etc.

He has similar tastes to Daniel as well, and recommends Daniel tunes that provides relaxation and chill vibes.

The both of them would sometimes sit together during classroom break, and Jay would share one of his Airpods with Daniel. He’ll play songs that he thought that Daniel might like while he helps him do homework.

Jay even tried to ask Duke if he could get a copy of the song that he and Daniel performed at the festival. It took Duke a while to understand what Jay was trying to say, but he did manage to send it to him at some point. Once he got the song, he secretly played it on repeat for over a month.

Mira Kim:

Pop, Alternative/Indie (But a lot of people don’t know that she’s interested in this genre. Many assumed that she’s into K-pop like Zoe, since they’re both close.)

Clairo, Mitski, Marina and the Diamonds, Halsey (Especially her Badlands Album), Melanie Martinez, Lana Del Rey, etc.

Sometimes listens to R&B/Soul too (like NIKI, Justine Skye, Kiana Lede, etc.) whenever she chills on her bed

Whenever she studies in her room, she likes putting these songs on in the background to help her get in the zone

Zoe Park:

HUGE K-Pop fan

Other than BTS, she’s also a fan of other groups like NCT, ATEEZ, Stray Kids, ENHYPHEN, The Boyz, Blackpink, TWICE, Red Velvet, G-IDLE, LE SSERAFIM, STAYC, NewJeans, etc.

Also listens to older groups too and goes on a K-pop marathon late at night while doing homework with BIG BANG, Super Junior, INFINITE, VIXX, EXO, ToppDogg, iKON, etc.

She also loves listening to the older girl groups like 2NE1, Girl’s Generation, Wonder Girls, F(x), Girl’s Day, AOA, etc.

Eli Jang:

Eli likes to listen to bands such as Cigarettes After Sex, The Neighbourhood, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, etc.

Loves the cool vibes of these Alternative/Indie bands with a hint of low sensuality to them.

He’s also interested in listening to artists like Chase Atlantic.

But of course, he doesn’t listen to these songs around Yenna. He doesn’t want her to acquire such vulgar words, and he doesn’t want to ruin her innocence. (Listening to these types of songs was like a guilty pleasure for Eli.)

Vin Jin:

Vin Jin listens to rap artists that inspire him and his style in rapping and hip-hop

Listens to K-Rap by Flowsik, ZICO, DPR LIVE, Jay Park, Dok-2, Simon Dominic, Dumbfoundead, etc.

His celebrity crush is Jessi and he’s a major fanboy if he ever sees her in person

Wants to reach international levels of Asian rap, like Rich Brian’s level someday, who’s a part of 88rising

Mary Kim:

Mary mostly listens to female rap artists that give off BBE ✨

She LOVES Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Saweetie, Lizzo, Doja Cat, etc.

Also listens to badass female K-rappers like CL, Jessi, HyunA, Lisa from Blackpink, etc.

Sometimes, she even listens to other artists like Audrey Nuna, REI AMI, BIBI, etc.

Johan Seong:

Listens to edgy rock bands (post-hardcore, metalcore, and punk) 💀

Consists of Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Bring me the Horizon, I Prevail, Of Mice & Men, Breaking Benjamin, etc.

On nights when he walks his dog Eden, he likes listening to bands such as Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, etc. (Edgy bands that give off low vibes.)

His fav song is Take me to Church by Hozier, even though it isn’t even close to punk.

Since Zack is a fan of hip-hop, he discovered darker hip-hop genres one day and he thought of Johan while listening to them. He then recommended Johan to listen to Hip-Hop Punk Rap and Horrorcore Trap Metal. Mostly artists like Suicide Boys, Freddie Dredd, and even CORPSE.

Johan digged the song reccs that Zack offered, and now he goes to him for more artists to listen to.

Jake Kim:

Jake is into love songs by Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, even Big Time Rush. (Similar to Vasco’s tastes)

He also enjoys listening to R&B and Soul music by Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Usher, Ne-Yo, etc.

Sometimes when he’s home alone, he’d sing in front of the mirror while pretending to serenade someone by smoothing out his hair seductively, blasting these songs all night.

I like to believe that this man got a good voice, so of course, he’ll nail these songs if you take him to karaoke.

Samuel Seo:

R&B and Trap Soul is his way to cope

Certain nights when he likes to feel sexy while standing naked in front of the window to his condo, he blasts music by Jeremih, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller, Trey Songz, etc. (similar to Gun’s type of music but thank god he doesn’t know that they have similar tastes in music)

When he feels low in spirit, he drinks to songs that are relatable to him and has the same vibe as his mood like 6lack - PRBLMS, SZA, The Weeknd, Travis Scott - Power is Power, blackbear - do re mi, Russ - Overdue, etc.

Samuel listens to these types of songs on occasion though, and doesn’t have time to sit down and actually listen to them since he’s always been so busy with work.

Gun Park:

Similar to Jay Hong’s taste in music, he got “expensive” tastes in music as well ✨

Late at night while drinking alone, he likes listening to sensual R&B. (Some days, The Weeknd, Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez, etc.)

During his workouts, he enjoys listening to rap and hip-hop from artists such as, 21 Savage, Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Denzel Curry, etc. (Songs that get his blood pumping, while working out.)

Sometimes, he also listens to K-Chill R&B artists, like DEAN, Sik-k, Crush, DPR LIVE, Jay Park, etc. whenever he goes out on late night drives in an expensive car.

Gun HATES the music that Goo puts on whenever he’s driving themselves to any destination. He gets annoyed whenever Goo takes the AUX chord and plays weird songs from “sus” artists such as DBangz, Lil Boom, and sometimes Yung Gravy.

Gun punched Goo one time when he started blasting “Thick ****** and Anime Tiddies”. Gun would yell at him saying, “What is this trash?!” and the fight would eventually escalate to another one of their side-of-the-road brawls

Goo Kim:

This man’s taste in music is ALL OVER THE PLACE. Just chaotic.

Although, he has some shared music tastes with Gun. (Mostly similar tastes in Hip-Hop songs.)

He enjoys listening to fun and bouncy music, that goes with his moods really well (Pop or hip-hop, it doesn’t matter to him. Just no country music. He, “can’t stand that shit.”)

On days when Gun is annoyed with Goo, he’ll intentionally play country music just to annoy Goo just to get back at him, while going on long drives anywhere. Goo would eventually punch Gun on the arm, almost causing the car to swerve, until Gun decides to pull the car to the side of the road and fight him then and there.

LOVES listening to very weird, unhinged music. Mostly by artists like Yung Gravy, Bbno$, Lil Boom, Dbangz, etc. (probably even Pink Guy)

Goo is a big fan of Tyler the Creator, since he’s also a big goofy guy who doesn’t care about anyone else but himself and making money (through his music). Not only does he like his unique style and music, but he finds him very admirable for not caring about people’s thoughts on him, no matter what type of outrageous or unusual things he says.

He definitely enjoys listening to popular anime OPs and OSTs from anime that he liked when he’s at home.

DG:

DG doesn’t have a preferred taste in music, but he enjoys music outside of his own demographic.

Since he always listens to K-pop 24/7 (because of his job), he doesn’t mind listening to other types of music as well, and seeks out for new music to listen to.

He is very open-minded. Some days, he’ll listen to American Hip-hop or Rock (Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino, etc.) and other days he’ll listen to Latin Trap. (Farruko, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, etc.)

During his trips overseas, he’ll listen to traditional Japanese instrumentals to relax while riding in his private jet. The music would often lull him to sleep, as it is calm and perfect for someone who’s constantly busy.

Eugene:

🎼 Likes listening to classical music while reading a book, or doing paperwork. (Mostly dark academia classical music.)

Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Franz Liszt, etc. makes him focus and concentrate.

Also, he’s an enthusiast of the historical American “Jazz Age”, which was music from the 1920’s. (But his interest in jazz is not limited to just that era. He likes jazz all the way to the current jazz of today.) 🎷

Eugene has exquisite tastes in music. Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, and Chet Baker, gives him comfort and puts him at ease.

He collects vinyl records of these famous artists, and likes listening to jazz music while sipping on a cup of tea or coffee, admiring the sweet tunes of the Roaring Twenties while looking out the window from his office.

Not only does he like classical, and jazz music, but he’s also interested in Traditional Pop. (The forefathers who started pop and got famous in Las Vegas shows.)

Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Paul Anka, etc. puts him in a very festive mood, especially while sitting in his office while putting together a blueprint of his devious plans.

Lookism boys living together HCs

Ft. Daniel, Vasco, Jay, Zack, Jake, Johan (<33 ahem-), Eli, Warren, Samuel, Gun and Goo (because why not?) if I forgot to add someone maybe i’ll add it later

DG is the Boss at home, why? Because I say so and he just gives me that kinda vibe😌

Vasco does most of the work in the garden 🪴

Zack doesn’t do anything at all but he will clean up if he’s told to

Daniel tried to help out here and there, wherever he can

Gun and Goo make money so they’re excused from doing housework

Eli takes care of Yenna so he doesn’t have to do a lot of work but he’ll still help clean

Warren helps Vasco in the garden 🪴

Johan cleans the clothes (guys he knows how to use a washing machine 🥹)

Samuel takes care of finances and all the paperwork 📄

* Gun and Goo share a room (obviously-)

* They always argue so DG had to separate them

* Now Gun shares a room with Samuel (because Samuel practically begged DG to put the two of them together)

* Goo sleeps in the basement…alone. (no one wanted to be in a room with him for safety reasons)

* Gun visits Goo‘s room in the basement from time to time

* Gun‘s room is extremely minimalist and organized

* Goo sleeps in the basement but it doesn’t look like a basement at all… his room is very…flashy

My HCs for Jake & Sammy and Jake & Johan

* Samuel used to share a room with Jake

* They literally had the „You can’t cross this line…here…this is my territory, there…that’s your territory“-thing (people who used to share a room with siblings will understand)

* After Samuel moved to Gun‘s Room Jake now shares a room with Johan

* Jake always tries to start a conversation with Johan but Johan usually ignores him

* From time to time they hold some conversations though and I feel like Johan would rant a lot and Jake would listen

* Johan would feel bad for ranting though so he’d probably do something for Jake in return like fold his clothes

* Jake likes to play with Eden and Miro a lot and although Johan didn’t want it at first he doesn’t care anymore

My HCs for Danny & Zack

* Daniel and Zack share a room

* Zack often visits Johans room but Johan always tells him off

* What more can I say about Zack and Danny? They’re bffs

* Daniel cleans Zacks things from time to time

* They sleep on a bunk bed because bunk beds are cool

* Sometimes they talk until deep into the night until the people next to their room tell them to shut the fuck up

* Vasco shares a room with Warren

* They hardly talk

* Vasco always tells Warren a lot of things and Warren listens

* Vasco somehow managed to completely misunderstand the things Warren says since he leaves out a lot of words

* They still get along well

My HCs for Eli & Yenna (and Yenna & everyone else)

* Eli is in a room with yenna

* he always tries his best to fulfill her needs

* whenever yenna cries everyone comes rushing into the room (because yenna is the queen and everyone should love her 💯 …except Sammy, Goo and Johan they just put on headphones)

* Yenna runs around in the house a lot and everyone tries their best to take care of her (even Sammy, Goo and Johan try not to hurt her and sometimes take care of her as well)

* he sleeps alone because he’s rich 💵

* but he visits danny in his room a lot

* sleeps over in danny’s room too

My HCs for DG

* DG sleeps alone in a big no huu~uge bedroom

* his room is like four times as big as the others rooms (and just twice as big as Gun‘s and Sammy’s room)

* I imagine his room to be like royalty style if you know what I mean

* he rarely leaves his room
