The fact of the business is that I generally don't like to speak ill of anyone. However, regarding Donald Trump, there's just no way around it. The idea of having that cat back in the White House scares me tremendously. As I've often said before, I don't do political parties. This isn't about Republicans versus Democrats. This is about protecting the democracy and values that this country purports to stand for, which Donald Trump has shown to be a threat towards. With that said, however, Donald Trump... Well, for better or worse, he basically has the Republican Party wrapped around his little finger. I should've seen that Nikki Haley didn't have much of a chance of defeating him in the primaries. While he is currently on indictment of many charges, there is... well, the very real possibility of him being able to... I can't even finish that thought. I'm a lot older than I look. I've been alive for almost a whole century, now - and I definitely remember the Richard Nixon trials. However, I can still state that the current Donald Trump situation has been unprecedented in all my years of living. So to my lovely fans, friends, and followers... if you are eligible, please be sure to get out and vote by the time November comes. The well-being of this country... and the world, in fact... really depends on you.

Jimmy Reed was an American blues musician and songwriter. His particular style of electric blues was popular with blues as well as non-blues audiences. "Baby What You Want Me to Do" is a blues song that was written and recorded by Jimmy in 1959. Jimmy influenced other musicians, such as Elvis Presley, Hank Williams Jr., and the Rolling Stones, who recorded his songs.

Jimmy Reed was the first blues artist I became aware of as a youngster. I’d sneak into my older brother’s room when he was out & listen to his records, being real careful to put them right back exactly where I found them. There were healthy doses of Elvis & Chuck Berry, “Hi-Heel Sneakers”, & a really cool song called “Baby What You Want Me To Do” by Jimmy Reed.
Once I got a little older & I started idolizing British groups like The Rolling Stones & The Yardbirds, eventually I started delving a little deeper & discovered Bo Diddley & bluesmen like Muddy Waters & Howlin’ Wolf.
Then I came back to Jimmy Reed, & after repeated listenings over the years, somewhere along the way I decided maybe Jimmy was my favorite. There was just something about those repeated rhythms & his nonchalant delivery that just felt right & spoke to me...

I understand that when people mock, taunt, or bully others - it's usually a case of putting others down to make oneself feel superior... which isn't quite the same thing as doing so out of a strong moral conviction against being eccentric or whatever. However, the fact that remains is this: When you feel a need to mock, taunt, or bully someone for being 'weird' - you *are* making a moral judgement. Essentially, the act of doing so conveys a message that you think not conforming to the status quo is a morally contemptible act.
