After a careful consideration and stepping back from Tumblr completely for the last 2 weeks, I have decided to give "returning" a try, meaning I will be crossposting my content in Tumblr, at least for a while. If there won't be toxicity, I will be returning permanently.
I have scheduled my content from last year to be posted, starting from tonight. I'm posting once a day until they run out, but publishing 5 today to align the rest of them (blame is on me and my obsession with numbers).
But this still means I'm not (publicly) interacting with other authors/my readers beyond writing/requests related stuff in Tumblr (my writing, not others), only in AO3. So chain asks etc are going to get ignored, and I also won't be doing follower celebrations, and I won't be posting pictures of my guinea pigs or selfies. I may be updating something about the con that's happening 1st-3rd of March because I know a lot of my followers still are here because of Grishaverse, but that's going to be a major exception. The situation may change at some point and I'll start reading fics from other people in Tumblr again, but for now I'm not reading anything in Tumblr.
Comments on my stories will be answered, and reblog comments are going to get reblogged with an answer.
Taglists still won't be operating so please don't ask. This is excluding posts where they already are added into, because I don't need to do any extra work for them. I'm tired of fighting with them, so no longer doing them. If you want to get informed about new pieces, I have series folder things in AO3 for each fandom and character I've written for, depending on your preference. More characters will get added as I write stuff for them, as AO3 doesn't let me create serieses unless there's at least one work published for that series.

Hello there this is Jenisa Ma. Vanisa D. Anlagan for JenTalks!
This marks the beginning of making a startup project.
So today is the end of our technoprenuership course week 1. During this week we formed a team of 4 for our project. In finding our team mates we first assess our classmates according to what our team needs and knowing them for about 4 years really help us.
After forming a team we then assess our selves with the help of Berkeley Innovation Index test and MBTI personality test. I took the test and the results can be seen in the attached pictures. I was not surprise with the personality test because the result was the same when I took it back in 2018. What surprise me is the innovation index test results because I didn't expect having so much percentage on it.
That ends the week 1 of my technoprenuership journey. Stay tuned and be excited on how can a protagonist personality with an 82 percent of innovation mindset can contribute to the making of a start-up project.

So I remembered a conversation I had with my labmates about what dinosaurs we’d like to be. One chose pterodactyl because she liked that they could fuck shit up and fly while the other chose saurolophus because he liked Ducky from Land Before Time. I chose brachiosaurus just because they could easily fuck shit up too but were the chillest motherfuckers there and just did their own thing. And I dig that. So yeah, I don’t know. Next time you’re bored, you can imagine this 5 foot asian girl wishing she could be a brachiosaurus for shits and giggles. Also I edited my photo after 4+ years on Tumblr so check out my shameless selfie.

when i was 5 i wanted to watch The Lion King every day but i would cry miserably about Mufasa, and when my mom would try to comfort me i'd get embarrassed and tell her i wasn't crying, my eyes just hurt, and she'd be like "your eyes always seem to hurt at this part" and i'd be like "yes...because of my mysterious disease..."

I'll be replying to the request if I end up deciding I can't do it, I never delete requests without telling about it. You are also allowed to ask if I have anything for a specific character in my wips/how many wips I have for a specific character, if you're interested.
Also, a reminder: If you send in a request, it's not the next in line! Me not posting does NOT mean I don't have anything to post, it usually means I'm just busy or otherwise not being able to post new content.

Two things to remind requesters:
- First, if you ask the reader to have a physical attribute, like glasses, certain hairstyle, a specified body type etc, it has to be linked into the plot somehow for me to use it. If it doesn't have a relevance for the plot, I just ignore that part of the request and I don't make mentions of it. Most of my readers are a blank canvas in terms of their appearance. They often have mentions about having some kind of unspecified hairstyle on their head but other than that, you can imagine the reader to look whatever you want, I don't make the reader a skinny white skinned long haired girl by default, I know a lot of writers do that but I don't. I came across so many fics with long haired reader back when I still had my pixie hair and yeah, it threw me off to read how I tied my hair up etc, so I don't make mentions like that.
If you want me to write something where the reader has a large red birthmark that spreads across their collarbone to their jaw and they're insecure of it and character comforts them about it, then sure, shoot. But if you want me to write a fic where character makes a birthday surprise for short!reader, then their height has nothing to do with the scenario and I will ignore that part of the request. You can imagine the reader being short yourself because I'm not writing anything that suggests reader not being short either. They can be short, tall or average, I don't make mentions how character looks up or down when they're looking at you, I just write "character looked at you" which you can interpret how you want.
- Second thing, this has been bubbling up a lot lately through asks and IM's: if I don't post anything for some time, it does NOT mean I have nothing to post. If you request, your request is NOT the only one in my drafts and won't be the next in line.
Every time I publish something new, I get at least one message or ask, some polite and some less polite, about if I got their request because they expected it to be the next in line to come out because I hadn't posted for a while and they assumed it's because my inbox is empty.
You ARE allowed to ask once if you're not sure if your request came through because of Tumblr's bugging, but if you're sending that ask because you thought your request is the next in line and that's why you think I don't have it because I posted someone's else's request instead of yours, then no. That's not the case. My life is just a lot different from what it was 3 years ago or even a year ago and unfortunately that means less updates and requests taking longer to come out.
And just in case someone is wondering, next request I'm posting is a Pin Hawthorne oneshot with clumsy kiss prompt.
A bonus info: I will make a mini to-publish list post that only include requests that will come out next, instead of my whole to-do list as a full to-do list is too difficult to manage on mobile (adding new requests as they come etc was a big challenge on mobile because I wasn't able to have multiple tabs of Tumblr open and some details got forgotten on the way from inbox to editing my to-do list post, especially when some requesters expected me to add their requests within 10 minutes if they saw I'm online or then they private messaged me with a "um my request included x and y important details???? Why didn't you add them in that to-do list desc, they're defining aspects???"...)

About BatBP schedules for those interested (and an explanation why I've been so absent/slow to publish new stuff):
I've tried to decide what is the best option for a while now. I want BatBP/Bastard and the Blood Princess readers to know when will the next chapter be published as it has gotten an influx of readers and it no longer is a "whatever, no one cares" situation, so I've decided to publish three requests before each BatBP chapter. I've posted only BatBP since last August, minus the Gideon piece in January and Peeta yesterday, so I think it's time to start doing my requests again properly. This means I have 2 oneshots to post before the next BatBP chapter, as The Favourite (Gideon) was posted about two weeks before Chapter 8 of BatBP (can't check because AO3 is under maintentance).
Also a reminder that from that pile of fics I posted here a month ago were posted on AO3 last year, so they weren't "new" and I don't write new stuff fast enough to be able to post daily, or usually even weekly. I recently came back to cross-post here, which is why I posted all that.

Also I know a lot of you are waiting for my new SaB pieces/oneshots, I've been staying away from those because of BatBP but now I may be doing them too again as I'm intending to do my requests semi-regularly as well. Though I will be filling my requests for my other fandoms too, and I don't plan on doing what I did last year, 80% of my published content being either for SaB or one of Freddy's characters (not Kaz).
I have a few reasons for why I've been slow, one reason being that a thing our family has been afraid of for years is now finally happening. Another reason being that I've moved away from where I lived in previously, and a lot of overwhelming stuff has been on the table since this year began because of it as I'm expected to do and be more than I was, despite being incredibly stressed and overwhelmed all the time. And this takes away from my energy to write anything. Requests, BatBP, stuff I write for myself only, I haven't written anything for months, only proofread and edited stuff that was already written and waiting to be published, and there's a bunch of that waiting for me to proofread/edit to be published next.
I don't want to vent about my personal life in detail anymore here, but I hope you will understand that my life is very stressful right now and I'm trying my best to go through your requests, but I'm not a Superwoman and I've learned to set myself a limit so I won't burn out again. And yes, I know there are a lot of writers who publish long pieces daily, every other day, several times a week, and some of you throw me with usernames and compare me to them, and then get back to me with a frustrated message when I don't answer because I don't want to pull them into any drama. Especially when some of them are my ex-friends from when I still was one of the "main" group.
Also I do have one half-excuse why I haven't been writing much after coming back from the con. I feel slightly weird of writing for Freddy's characters/proofreading my finished pieces for them rn because I got to talk to him and hug him a month ago, and I'm still recovering from that shock 😅 Which is also one of the reasons I haven't written anything new for them. But I'm training myself back into it, because I do feel incredibly motivated and inspired to write 100001 pieces for them at one sitting.
But yeah! This was the thing I wanted to talk about, thank you for reading this far. I possibly have a new piece coming tomorrow or over the weekend, I just need to sort my ready to publish requests out and decide which one I'll publish next 👍🏻 (Gotta go to shower and sleep in an hour so can't choose now)
