ALRIGHT SO SO, it is sooo funny to me that there were at least a few people who like. thought these two were the same fucking guy. Like vague gesture I vividly REMEMBER seeing people saying Vylad was Jeffory's shadowknight form. I also remember this all started due to ONE line Katelyn had which pissed me off as a kid but looking back it was SO funny.

I also remember the only ship I actively actually disliked was Katelyn x Vylad, I a baby aspec had basically seen Vylad and instantly started projecting. add to that the fact it was ?? just a single line Katelyn had about Vylad I was sooo unamused. Honestly looking back its super funny mcd was wild.

I do wonder if Aphmau actually had anything planned?? Like were they supposed to be like distant relatives or smt? Because that one Katelyn line is kinda just strange?? idk man.

Either way I think it would be funny if they were like cousins or something on Vylads father side. Maybe even have Jeffory become a shadowknight after his death so at some point a long way down the road they just have spiderman pointing meme.

Okay listen, I absolutely ADORE Kim now as a character than I did when Season 3/4 was first released but sometimes I kind of wish Aphmau had used another character that she abandoned way back in the beginning or even someone from MCD, because they were cool characters who deserved a modern adaptation

Mystreet Emmalyn, her MCD incarnation is literally Ghost (but that plot line makes no sense I’m so sorry) and she had made an appearance in the original side stories and also had a major role in one of the S1 episodes titled ‘A New Years Kiss’ before never showing up again. She exists, shes just kind of living her own life.

Zoey, the magical elf who would have been a cottage-core icon in MyStreet and the one who essentially started the plot in S2, gave up her immortality in order to bring everyone back home, and also raised most of Aphmau’s children. At LEAST give her a voice actress so we don’t have to interpret her voice as Jessica anymore. Also, the supernatural element would’ve made sense to her magical abilities

Cadenza who was the baddest bitch ever, and probably wouldn’t have taken Ghost and any of her nonsense with Zane in the first place. I’m convinced she would attack Ein herself if she ever got under the Forever Potion. She had also made a couple of cameos (the last one being in S3, where Kim was also introduced, so it wouldn’t have confused anyone either to keep up with the cast)

Nicole, who can kind of fit this role but probably shouldn’t be the first choice for it, idk I just really miss her character a bit. Maybe Ein/ the Lodge Gang needed a steampunk and called her over, officially making her apart of the actual group without bringing Katelyn or Dante into it. I just don’t want her to be forgotten as the love interest to someone else :(( I think she had more room for potential

Jeffory, because his character is just so sweet! He would totally be chill with Ghost wanting to leave the lodge and allow her to use his body. He would probably be like “I’d like to establish some ground rules, if you don’t mind, but other than that I would be honored if you wanted to possess my body :D” boom, done. Most of the issues with Ghost would have been solved. Omg imagine Abby and Ghost playing dolls together? I think that would be sweet.

(I don’t think Dante or Laurance would fit into being Ghost’s vessel tbh so that’s why they aren’t included in this list, but I would also greatly appreciate it if they brought those two back)

(Thought abt adding Vylad into the mix too and then I literally remembered that Zane was her past lover, and honestly that would’ve been… immoral to witness. If that was just not added in he would’ve been a good contender if not THE BEST option for it)

I got into DnD recently so here's what I think each of the Jury of Nine would play as (Zane included because he's a Juror in my mind):

- Zane. Cleric. Evil, evil Cleric. He doesn't heal anyone ever. I will not elaborate.

- Ivy is 100% a Barbarian. That girl kills for fun and I respect her for it <3

- Janus is a very high level Fighter. Specifically strength based. OP.

- Ivan's a Warlock, obviously. He has 11 hit points and keeps picking fights with NPCs and dying

- Lillian is a Rouge solely for the sneak attack function

- Jeffory is also a Cleric but will actually heal other members of his party unlike some people previously mentioned

- Katelyn is a Paladin. Don't ask why, I don't know, it's just vibes.

Helllooooo Aphblr!! I just went to the Renaissance Festival in Arizona and I am happy to report that the rot consumes as always and I literally did not stop thinking about MCD the entire time!!

A particular highlight was during the jousting when one of the knights was dressed in gold and burgundy and had tanner skin and brown hair. And his name started with an L and ended with a ce. I promise I was normal about him and did not literally almost cry when I watched him get murdered. I'm normal.

Anyways below the cut are some outfits and things and stuff I saw that made me think about my favorite brain worms.

This outfit was giving Cadenza and Laurance. I think about them in matching outfits a lot.

This bad boy screamed Laurance at me like his life depended on it

I literally have never stopped thinking about pirate Cadenza. Ever.

Originally I didn't know who to assign this to, but the big bang server suggested Garroth and Aphmau when they're infiltrating O'Khasis

Jury of nine post because I need more content of them and Jess will never give it to me.

I think about the loyalties of the members all the time and why they might be loyal. We know that Katelyn and Jeffory aren't all that loyal but it seems like the other four we know (Janus, Lillian, Ivy, and Ivan) are. And I think/headcanon this might be why.

Janus- He is described as a monster and thats all we really know about him, so I think thats a pretty important part of their character. So what I think happened is that Janus was probably also a 'monster' before they met Zane, and he never had a place to belong and was an outcast because of the people's fear. Now Zane (being a smart man, so probably targeting people he knows will give all loyalty to him for simple things) gave him a place, the jury. They wouldn't be an outcast as most jury members are 'monsters', its the type of people Zane wants. Being with him ment that they belonged somewhere and that he had a purpose, being Zanes monster. So I think he's loyal to Zane because Zane gave them everything he wanted. (It also said that the jobs Zane gives him are his purpose in life, so that's why I think it's one of the biggest things)

Ivy- We know she is pretty blood thirsty and being with the jury ment that she was one of the most powerful people as she had more authority then majority of people and she gets the power that comes with the job, plus working under Zane means she'll probably get a lot of bloody jobs. So she stays for that. But she also knows how good of a leader Zane is and how charismatic he is so if someone else were to come into the picture she probably wouldn't leave the jury as she knows Zane will most likely come out on top in the end.

Lillian- I think she stays out of respect if im going to be honest. I think she would respect the power Zane has and what he will do to keep it and get more. She stays under his rule because she wouldn't want to be under anyone else. He's smart and gets what he wants. She respects his methods and all that he is.

Ivan- I think its pretty similar to Lillians, he probably respects the power and authority Zane has and how he does things. While he may not understand it all and think some of it is dumb, he can still put himself behind it as he respects Zanes decisions. He is also probably there for the power and authority it gives him.

Now we only know 6/9 of the members (Zane is the leader, not a member) and out of that only 2 of them are there without having some type of motive to be there, only there cause Zane wants them there and he has ways of forcing them to stay. But I think out of the other three at least 2 of them are also loyal to Zane, I think this because Zane probably knows that having people that aren't completely and totally loyal to him is risky, which is why only 2/6 of the members we know about are blackmail into joining. And we know there have to be others because in rebirth, Lilian mentions Ivan, Ivy, Jeffery, Katelyn, and then mentions others. So I wish to see them please

Small Character Dump for my fic

As of Chapter 8

THE JURY

Zane is still a little fucker. He is still power hungry, and insanely manipulative. However, he is now the second youngest in the Jury, meaning he has a MASSIVE chip on his shoulder. Also, he earned the position of High Priest by studying, and is the YOUNGEST in the cities HISTORY to gain it. Meaning manz is smart as fuck. I need more studious Zane in my life.

The Upper Four (Ivan, Jeffory, Janus, Katelyn) have been in the jury together for a few years now, so they are all basically siblings. Granted, they mainly hate each other, but they are brothers in arms. Only they can fuck each other over.

Zero is essentially Ivans minion. The boy never leaves his side unless he is specifically ordered to. And he is near emotionless. Idk why but I lowkey love this unfeeling bastard.

The Lower Four (Zero, Ruby, Lilian, Clas) are extremely separated from each other. Where the Upper Four are the siblings who hate each other with a burning passion, the Lower Four are essentially the cousins that play nice at family gatherings only to never speak once they go home.

The Jury really is just hanging on by a thread. Sometimes the Jury is a tight nit band of soldiers who would get along great, but others are this close to imploding on themselves and possibly causing a civil war. This jury is the latter.

Basically every single Juror has some form of trauma, the majority of it being religious. They literally were separated from society for a few months and forced to take in magical abilities their bodies weren't supposed to have. And O'khasis is a HEAVILY religious city.

THE SHADOW KNIGHTS

Gene has Delfina and Zenix under his command in the General Army, yet they both constantly threaten his authority. By that, I mean they are the only two who will OUTRIGHT call him a dumbass in front of everyone. Usually it doesn't end well.

Zenix is for some reason eternally in his teenage dirtbag phase in the worst way possible. He always has an attitude, and is basically a chihuahua: way to loud for way to long despite his size. He is actually really smart, but if you try to give the solution to world hunger via a string of fuck yous and death threats, no one will listen. They'll just be annoyed.

Vylad and Laurence are probably the most caring of the main Shadow Knights I have in here. And the saddest. They have their ways of not giving in to the idea of taking revenge on the Surface, meaning they constantly carry a sense of guilt.

Ok but like genuinely, Laurences arc to becoming a SK is fascinating? And I honestly really like it? I feel like if you take out "Aphmau was his reason for not loosing his sanity", he'd still have the fortitude to not give in and maintain his sanity. He'd just be extremely broken.

Also Laurence gets to keep his long orange hair because I say so. One of these men need to take one for the team and have hair longer than their shoulders.

For some reason, once I started looking more into the backstories for the SKs, I forgot that they all had died and Shad gave them their revenge arcs. I forgot just how much angst this group had. Whoops.

Also Sasha and Laurence knew each other and i completely forgot?? H O W ???

So I was talking about Aphmau characters and how likely they are to get cancelled on twitter as well as why they would get cancelled. This is not relevant to the superhero au or the rewrite by the way. Highlights include:

Nana gets cancelled for... obvious reasons

Ivy might get cancelled if someone brought up how she acted in high school

Zane for being a b//rony

Aaron would start twitter beef with a child

Zenix commited a crime or something

Blaze would do something on accident... not sure what exactly, but something

Jeffory, Kim, Teony and Vylad would simply not get cancelled at all.
