Derek’s hands were warm, a comforting heat radiating from the palms splayed across Stiles’ cheeks. His thumbs trailed circles over Stiles’ high cheekbones as he moved slowly toward him. Stiles’ heart was deafening in his ears, the soft press of lips on lips all he could want.

“Stiles,” everything faded back to normal. Stiles sat in the newly painted loft where Derek hunched over maps, toying with a sharpie between his fingers. “You think they went south?”

There were no warm hands, no soft kiss against his lips: just Derek looking for his betas and Stiles, the love-sick human, helping.

I really like Harumitsu because I feel a sort of kinship to the repressed straight laced independent character that is Edgeworth, and I get to live vicariously through him in all the fics and art. I get to imagine having an outgoing, doting, loving boyfriend who would do anything for me and who I eventually am able to become comfortable and live a life with and un-repress my feelings by reading about him doing it.

Because I might be doomed to unlovable repressed isolation in real life, but in fiction people like me can sometimes get a happy ending.

had a kinda lazy morning. in the afternoon though i went out for lunch and went to barnes and noble and read a bit in the cafe till my cousin got off work.

after that we went to the mall and a couple other places

i’ve been reading bookshops & bonedust and it’s really good! just a cozy fantasy read

i’ve also been rereading the house of olympus series (i’m on “the lost hero”) when i originally read the series i only finished the first two books and then lost my gumption with mark of athena. im gonna read them all this time though. (especial because i want to read chalice of the gods and the tv show has revamped my 12yr old interest in the book series)

I think he's gonna dress like most middle aged men do which is. whatever's comfortable and easy to move in. I actually think he actively tries to avoid dressing too young? (Though, idk if I really conveyed it with the outfits I cobbled together.)

He's a working class man he does NOT have fancy coats or suits (unless Marcille gets to dress him up and Marcille does NOT get to dress him up). Chilchuck has maybe two pairs of jeans he cycles through total.
