About the 40k dataslate changes
I think it’s hilarious that the biggest point of contention is a few armies with power armor got a bit of a buff, but every other faction thinks Jamathon Workshop personally took away the AP modifier from all of their weapons. For real, the game is so killy now Space Marines and Co needed the buff.
Is there way too much rules bloat this edition? Absolutely. But I think anyone who’s One-trick Pony army list got ruined from a single update should try looking at other ways to run their army rather than give up???
Also, the only Space Marine friend I play against is using Black Templars and he rolls 5++ invul saves like crazy, so it’s business as usual for me whenever I’m fighting that guy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think the biggest issue for the power armor buff is Space Marine vs Space Marine battles are going to get very boring. They only have -1 or -2 AP on Bolters/Chainswords, so most basic infantry fights are gonna be a slog. I guess someone can correct me here how they think that will go down.
Nothing really else to say about the changes. I’m still going to keep enjoying my heavy Best Snagga cavalry army. Super excited to get my Tyranid codex soon!

Organizer Joe Bogdanovich marks the event a success. "It's hard to be free. Everybody worked for free. The artistes worked for free. The sponsors were also working together as opposed to being competitive. As a result, the sense of giving was there, and it brought a spirit of togetherness needed the music business fraternity, and to all the patrons and citizens. I think the show, the performances and the execution of the television aspect of production went well. The performances were up to the marks we were hoping to get. Total togetherness and harmony and spirit. I think we achieved that," Bogdanovich told THE STAR. "Behind the scenes, the mix of music and stars, representing the wide variety of musical genres that we have here, was very warm and upbeat and enthusiastic." Bogdanovich said. Donations to the Caribbean Love Now hurricane relief effort will remain open for the rest of the year. "The donations are going through December. You can still go online a make a pledge... Make donations and go to Hardware and Lumber companies, bring Christmas spirit. The message is so important," he said. He’s always been the most terrified of losing Sirius, because Sirius is his brother, and he’s the only one that James has ever been close to losing. He practically attached himself to Sirius at the hip when Sirius first came to live with the Potters, because he was so terrified that if Sirius was unhappy there, he’d go crawling back to the Blacks, and James would’ve been destroyed by that.
Do they want to get married? : Absolutely. James grew up in a house with two parents that were completely head over heels in love with each other, and he really wants that for himself one day.
Do they want kids? : James really wants kids. Not now, but when he’s older and the war is hopefully over, James wants to have a bunch of kids.
Someone they wish things had turned out differently with : Lily, though not in the way you think. James is really embarrassed by his younger self, and how much of a tool he was. It wasn’t until seventh year that he realized that he could charm Lily by being himself. He made her laugh, and that’s what ultimately won her over. He thinks maybe if he hadn’t tried so hard, maybe they wouldn’t’ve had to climb over those six years of baggage to get where they are now.

Biggest regret : Fifth year. James is super ashamed about what happened with the Incident, and the fact that he threatened Snape. He’s not ashamed of threatening Snape to keep him quiet, but saying that they’d let Remus finish what he started if Snape said anything? That’s the part he wishes he could take back.
Someone they fear : He hates to say it, but Remus, a little bit. Not when he’s in human form, but when Remus is a werewolf, he scares James.
Someone they could kill : James isn’t sure if he could kill if it came down to it. He’d thought for a long time that he could kill Snape, but he knows if he got the chance-- like he did in fifth year-- he wouldn’t be able to. Mulciber, maybe, but even then, James is too softhearted for that.
Someone they miss : McGonagall. He admires that woman more than probably anyone else in the world, and he misses being able to see her every day.
Someone they resent : Regulus. How dare he not appreciate how amazing Sirius is. James would never admit it, but he’s kind of happy Regulus is gone. One less person to compete for Sirius’ love.
Is there a secret they want to share with someone? Who and what? : James wants to tell Peter he knows Peter likes Sirius, just so he can be there to comfort him. He knows it’s going to hurt Peter, and he wants to be there to support Peter, just like he’s always done.
Something they’re embarrassed about liking : History of Magic. Everyone thinks it’s lame, but James finds it completely fascinating. He actually asked Professor Binns for a couple copies of the exams so he could have one to show to the boys that he failed fantastically on, and the actual exam that he did really well on.
What did they want to be when they were younger? : A muggle. James’ perception of what reality was was really crap when he was a kid.
Secret they consider to be their “big secret” : James was happy when Regulus died, because it meant Sirius’ last tie to his previous life was gone, and he didn’t have to worry about Sirius ever looking back after Regulus was gone.
