listen I know everyone loves throwing ivy at alear or diamant but can I grab all of you and beg u to consider ivy and jade. ivy who has been fighting uphill her whole life and having to hide herself gently pried apart by gentle, respectful jade who sees and admires the deeply rooted spine of steel ivy possesses? jade who is content to sit with her in the silence and assure her the creaking is just the trees in the wind and not ghosts coming to haunt her. ivy who beta reads jade's work, rewarded with a smug little smile that tells her diamant hasn't laughed that hard in weeks? ivy and jade who watch the shenanigans of the somniel with a dry exchange of witty banter. jade who feels like she's just a bit too plain and brodian to stand next to someone so pretty and composed and elusian like ivy, and yet how deeply ivy appreciates the company of someone so grounded and practical who knows precisely when to be serious and when to make her laugh. the awkward mending of two nations at war beginning with a knight and a princess. look at me. look at me they didn't give them a support because they would be horrendous at flirting and far too powerful.

My prejudgement of the engage cast: Brodia edition
This is as of before I venture into chapter 5, so obviously I don’t actually know ANYTHING about anyone except what I’ve accidentally absorbed through fanart. This is all purely based on their appearance and the vibe. I’ll reblog with what I actually think of them after I’ve finished the game, or have sufficient enough exposure to them ＼＼\٩(๑`^´๑)۶//／／

Bio:
Jade is a royal knight from Brodia, and Diamant's retainer. Always calm and collected, and serious about her duties. As she rarely speaks, people think she's emotionless, but in truth she can be surprisingly cheerful and funny.
Thoughts:
Jade is one of my favorite names. Another blonde, but I like her hair style. I also feel like she's the type of person I would try talking to and become really good friends with. I tend to find the people who are super quiet and bring them out of their shells, at least when they are around me. I like that she's a funny person. I hope that her sense of humor is really shown in the support conversations.
Looks (Hair): 7/10 - Love the style, don't like the color
Looks (Outfit): 6/10 - Most of it is kind of boring but the designs on her hips and shields are great
Looks (Face): 7/10 - She's pretty
Fighting Style Flair: 7/10 - She swings that axe with a twirl. You're going to die. LOL
Personality (1st Impression): 7/10
Class Fit: 7/10 - Female armor units are great. The stoicism works for that
