                                              JACKSON SINCLAIR
                                                 THIRTY-EIGHT – BOSS – SINCLAIR
warning: kidnapping.
Jackson always knew that he’d be the head of the Sinclair crime family one day. His father was a powerful, feared boss in Chicago, and Jack was expected to carry out that legacy. His last name carried a substantial amount of weight in the city of Chicago. His father had a temper big enough to make anyone run in the opposite direction. Despite Johnny’s borderline abusive parenting, Jack turned out significantly different than the older generation in his family. He fought hard to prove his worth, only Jackson was more rational in the way that he went about things. Jack was civilized, composed -- up until the minute that he wasn’t. Had it not been for Jackson’s level head during the early years of his reign, the Sinclair organization would have likely crumpled without him.
Even before being crowned boss, Jackson was an absolutely crucial player within the organization. He trafficked weapons in his twenties, often serving as his father’s unofficial adviser. College wasn’t in the picture for Jack.‌ He was smart enough to get in, but showed absolutely no desire to further his education beyond high school. Instead,‌ Jackson opted into a criminal apprenticeship in southern California with some associates of the family. Jackson had all of the training that was required of him, but he wanted more. He was an active person – competitive by nature. So it wasn’t a surprise that Jack ended up being damn good with a gun. His aim never faltered, no matter who the target was. If he missed, it was because Jack wanted to.‌ It didn’t take long before he started operating an arms trafficking ring in San‌ Diego division, molding the loyalists there into the perfect soldiers. He made them lethal enough to transport Sinclair merchandise anywhere without fear of ever being caught.
Jack was running a tight ship in California, and Johnny was impressed with his son’s work. The Sinclairs were swimming in even more money thanks to Jack. He’d never anticipated California to be so… permanent. Eventually, Jack moved back home to Chicago, but visited San Diego on a monthly basis to check on things there. During one of his trips, he met Charlotte Abrams. Charlie was a fucking force, unparalleled. The night she and Jackson met, she tried scamming him out of $16,000. Jack was no fool. He could tell she was running a con on him, but he didn’t give a fuck.‌ He entertained the idea for a few hours, even let her pocket his wallet. By the end of the night, Jack confronted her, smug, half offering to let her keep the cash. Prioritizing the business wasn’t hard with Charlie around. She was adventurous and fun and sexy, and all she wanted was for Jackson to be successful. She motivated him in ways no one else could.
Charlotte and‌‌ Jackson married in a whirlwind Las Vegas wedding when Charlotte found out she was pregnant with their first child. Jack moved Charlie home with him, introducing her to life in Chicago. They had several more children over the years, and Charlie even started running the Black Cat. With Jack’s return to Chicago, Johnny decided it was time to step back and retire. Jack became the head of the family, and under him, a few changes were made. Employees respected and admired his natural born leadership. He was the perfect balance between normal and Sinclair. He was a family man, an incredible husband and father. But Jack was also tough, unafraid of showing his ruthless side and disciplining anyone who might wrong him or his family.
Perhaps the most challenging part of Jackson’s job has been his youngest sister, Paityn. She was troubled, different than the rest of them -- and Jackson was livid the moment she announced her engagement to Luca Costello. Charlie had to walk him out of the room, force him to calm down. No one liked it, but Jackson especially hated it. Paityn was his baby sister, and marrying a Costello was like putting a nail in her own coffin. Jack had a talk with Paityn, tried talking her out of it -- but there was no budging. She really loved the guy. Jack begrudgingly agreed, even going as far as to set up a meeting with Leon Costello about how their organizations would move forward after this.
The stress of the wedding alone was getting to Jack. His thoughts were riddled with a never ending list of things that could go wrong. And he ended up being right. The night of the wedding, Paityn disappeared without a trace. Jack immediately put his best people into looking for her and instructed everyone in his family to cut ties with the Costellos. Whatever friendly alliances had formed during the months leading up to the wedding were officially over. Jack went to war -- he had his employees rip Chicago apart in search of Paityn, not caring if they were trespassing on Costello territory. Jack felt an immeasurable amount of guilt for letting this happen to her. Had this been the plan all along -- to go after the Sinclairs when they least expected it?
It’s now been six months since his little sister’s disappearance, and there are still no answers. The searching has taken a big toll on Jack and his family. Jack’s been sleeping less and less, and it’s only a matter of time before he fucking loses it. Turning into his father had never been in the books for Jack, but losing Paityn might be the thing that does it.

N A M E: Jackson Sinclair A G E: Thirty-Eight O C C U P A T I O N: Head of Arms Trafficking  L O Y A L T Y: Sinclair Crime Family
                                 SOME RISE BY SIN,                        AND SOME BY VIRTUE FALL.
Jackson Sinclair was the result of a drunken hook up. He hardly knew his mother - she was a young waitress who’d gotten in to bed with the wrong guy. Johnny Sinclair was no gentleman, having four other children with different women over the years, most of which he rarely ever saw. Jackson and Morgan Sinclair were his only sons - so they were the only ones that Johnny wanted around. Jack’s father was a powerful, feared boss in Chicago – Jack was expected to help Morgan carry out the Sinclair legacy. Their name carried a substantial amount of weight in the city of Chicago. His father had a temper big enough to make anyone run in the opposite direction. Despite Johnny’s borderline abusive parenting, Jack turned out significantly different than the rest of the men in his family. Jackson underwent the same training as Morgan Sinclair – he fought just as hard as his older brother did to prove his worth, only Jackson was more rational in the way that he went about things. Jackson was civilized, composed – up until the minute that he wasn’t. Had it not been for Jackson’s level head during the early years of Morgan’s reign, the Sinclair organization would have likely crumpled without him.
It was no secret that Jackson was an absolutely crucial player within the organization.‌ Morgan had once offered him the position of adviser, when Jack was merely twenty-one years old – but he denied, deciding there was a lot of life still left to live. Advising Morgan, talking him down from another rampage – Jack already did that. He didn’t want it for a job, too. Jack prioritized the organization, but that didn’t mean he wanted to be married to it in the same way that his older brother was. Not at twenty-one.
If he missed, it was because Jack wanted to.‌ It didn’t take long before he started training the newer employees in the San‌ Diego division, molding them into the perfect soldiers. He made them lethal enough to transport Sinclair merchandise anywhere without fear of ever being caught.
Jack was running a tight ship. The Sinclairs eventually started distributing out of California. It was close to their clientele, and they could easily sell weapons to neighboring organizations without encroaching on their territory. Eventually, Jack was promoted to head of arms trafficking after he established several lucrative business deals on behalf of Morgan. The‌‌ Sinclairs were swimming in money, and it was all thanks to Jack.
He’d never anticipated California to be so… permanent.
At thirty, Jackson was splitting his time between Chicago and San Diego. He’d visit Morgan every other weekend, checking in on things back home – until Jackson’s visits became less and less frequent. He had a good reason, too – her name was Charlotte Abrams. By the end of the night, Jack confronted her, and the rest was history. Prioritizing the business wasn’t hard with Charlie around. She was adventurous and fun and sexy, and all she wanted was for Jackson to be successful. She motivated him in ways no one else could. It was no surprise when they fell hard and fast. Despite spending almost every waking moment together, Jack kept Charlie a secret from his family. He had no reason to – he knew she’d fit right in with his crazy family. But Jackson loved her so much, there was a desire to keep her to himself, untainted by the war in Chicago.
Charlotte and‌‌ Jackson married in a whirlwind Las Vegas wedding when Charlotte found out she was three months pregnant with their first child. Morgan and the rest of the family back home were shocked when‌‌ Jack came back home with a very pregnant wife. No one had even heard of her, but Charlotte adapted perfectly to life in Chicago. Jack still flew out to California rather frequently, but Chicago became home base. He and Charlotte had several more children while Jackson became a more prominent figure in the organization. His title never changed – he remained in charge of the arms trafficking, but Jackson was a natural born leader.‌ Employees respected and admired him. He seemed to be the perfect balance between normal and Sinclair. He was a family man, an incredible husband and father. But he was also ruthless and unafraid of disciplining those who had wronged him or his family. Jack saw firsthand how distraught and unhinged Morgan seemed to be after Paityn almost died. Offering up Paisley to be married seemed like some sort of cruel joke. Jack objected to the wedding on several occasions, but he knew that whatever Morgan said was law. He should’ve fought harder for Paisley.
Paisley was shot and killed at the altar, and‌ Jack watched helplessly as it all happened. He got his wife and children out of the church unharmed. Paisley’s death was a shock to the entire family. It got harder as the days went on – especially when he knew that Morgan was on a downward spiral. No matter how hard Jack tried – Morgan wasn’t accepting advice from anyone.
While the Sinclair family tries to grieve the loss of Paisley, Jack spends his nights awake, desperate for answers. Whoever killed‌ Paisley is still out there, and they need to be dealt with. Jack is almost certain that the Costellos pulled the trigger. It makes the most sense, in his mind. With Morgan losing a grip on things, Jack’s beginning to wonder if it’s time for someone else to take the Sinclair throne. Sebastian Sinclair is next in line, and Jack’s hoping he can get the kid ready enough to be the leader his father never could be.

Name: Jackson Ravencroft
Age: 33
Birthday: Unknown
Species: Human
Personality: Jackson is a good person, really. He makes for a amazing and loyal friend, even if he’s not so loyal with sexual encounters. He can be a bit narcissistic at times, but has been working on being more humble. But even so, he can still be very promiscuous in the presence of women or others he may be attracted to for whatever reason.  Jackson is also very hard working and very much a leader type. Though he can play the follower as well, especially where Angelina is concerned. As he know she respects and values his opinions.
Occupation: Lawyer
Sexuality: Pansexual
Face Claim: Jack Falahee
Powers: None
Bio:
During his high school years, he had started showing signs of addictive behaviors, mostly in sexual acts. This lead to having many encounters with others, but not too many friends afterward.  Jackson, however, managed to juggle these extra appetites of his and his courses in law school very well, while also seemingly still being a respectable person of society. Even though he had become a sex addict, he refused to let that get in the way of him and his ultimate goals. Which was to take of his mother, ultimately.  Jackson was, of course, a mama’s boy and wanted to do whatever he could to help her live comfortably after she had started showing signs of her depression and ultimately her own fears of going outside, which stem from an incident almost over thirty-three years ago, that she refuses to tell him, or anyone, about.
Jackson started working with Angelina Freeman, whom he had met while in law school,  they formed a sort of bond together during this time.  Whenever she had quit working with the Mayor Jackson followed her and became her right-hand man. In recent months Jackson met someone who has seemingly changed him, even if only slightly. He has been trying his best to remain faithful to this person, even ignoring other women who make advances toward him, or what he thinks to be passes at him, for sexual favors. Which he would have jumped on with no questions asked before.
On the night of the blackout, Jackson had been having a particularly stressful month. This lead to him breaking his faithful streak. For months he had been going to a coffee shop in town and had been seeing the same girl there. Any flirtatious pass at him he took, without revealing that he had already been in a relationship, or that he was involved with anyone else at all. On that night he finally broke and slept with the woman he had been seeing at the shop. Since then he has been keeping the encounter a complete secret. But he can’t help but think about the woman from the coffee shop more and more as time goes by and knows he won’t be satisfied until he sleeps with her again. The encounter has left Jackson a little touchy and jumpy, whenever conversations of relationships are brought up. Which he tries to hide, and most of the time can do so without incident. But the more time he spends away from the woman at the shop, the more he knows he’s failing to actually forget the incident and falling deeper into his addictions once more.

Basics;
Name: Jackson Griffith Age: Thirty Occupation: Detective in the Organized Crime Unit Loyalty: Vasco Faceclaim: DJ Cotrona Availability: Open
In Brief;
Jackson Griffith; the loyal soldier. With tunnel vision dictating his every move, there’s only one thing he wants to do. Jackson is determined to ensure the cops he’s employed under don’t catch the man he works for.
+ loyal, diligent, resourceful - short-sighted, obsessive, manipulative
History;
Jackson always knew his place in the world. The son of a dirty cop, corruption ran through his veins like blood. Jackson idolized his dad. When he would hang up his gun every night, Jackson tried to fit his belt around his small waist. While playing with firearms was discouraged in most houses, Jackson’s father taught him how to handle a weapon as soon as he showed interest. He was trained to be just like him. He was so focused on his future career that friends and family fell by the wayside. Really, his father’s approval and his life as a future mob loyalist was the only thing that mattered to him. He focused on school, wanting to have an impressive resume under his belt to ensure prime pickings when it came to his eventual placement on the force. With a strong academic and athletic record, along with his father’s recommendation, Jackson was able to work his way up the ladder at the NYPD quickly and easily.
When he first met Leonardo Vasco, Jackson was only twenty-three. It was a quick meeting, but Jackson was in awe the entire time. Now, not only was he desperate to get his father’s approval, but the Don’s approval, as well. So, he did whatever he was asked to do and more. He tampered with evidence, dealt with rats and followed every order his boss and father gave him. When he noticed Lydia had taken to the business, as well, Jackson started to shift his focus a bit. He knew the kind of people who hung out at The Villa and wanted to ensure that his sister was safe. Though, despite his best efforts, his work always took priority.
His current mission was to deter the police from catching on to Salvatore Vasco in Cillian Byrne’s murder case. It was clear that it was a mob execution, but the NYPD didn’t have many leads. While Jackson was assigned to the case with some of the most dedicated to taking down the Vascos, he was sure that he pointed them in every direction but the right one. It wasn’t terribly difficult to lead them away from Sal. The man was good at covering his tracks. But one misstep could result in the end of the syndicate as a whole. Jackson was sure he wasn’t going to let that happen, even if it means having everything else he cares about fall to the wayside.

Alright so here’s a little bio about Jackson so yall can get a gist of how he is and how I will play him.
Alright first things first is Jackson is a pothead, and apart from that various other drugs, whatever you want, he’ll give you the hook up. That being said, he’s almost always high– actually that’s a damn lie. He IS always high. Cause even when he hasn’t done anything he’s done so much shit his mind is gone.
He tries to be cool with everyone, because why how successful would you be really, selling drugs if you’re a dick. He’s like that hippie you see in the corner talking about peace and love. Generally he’s a nice guy too, he’s a happy camper ^.^
However he’s an instigator. A trait he acquired from his sister, Kennedy who’s just evil lol. He likes to call people out if he feels like they’re being fake. When he gets drunk he’s just a hot mess, he will literally go on Twitter and subtweet about people and even @ them lmao it’s great. He’s great. I love him so much, he’s just a tall tree who’s trying to make his parents proud but drugs got in the way, he honestly is all about doing shit right there and then because he’s almost 100% sure he won’t make it to 24
