KIM KITSURAGI - Your frenzied babbling falls deaf to the lieutenant's ears. Instead, he approaches the broken vehicle, sunken in the ice. He moves with a caution and gentleness you haven’t seen him display before.
INLAND EMPIRE - It must be cold and lonely down there, in the icy water. Maybe he could sense its sorrow, calling to him…
PERCEPTION (SIGHT) [Easy: Success] - His hands, which are always stiffly placed behind his back, are trembling.
ENDURANCE - This is the shuffle of a tired, tired man.
HALF LIGHT - He’s going to do something drastic because of you. Oh god, terrible! You’re a terrible liar! You can’t look at this, you just can’t!
VOLITION [Formidable: Success] - It's not *you* who drove his kineema into the sea. You have plenty of faults, but this one is decidedly not yours.
KIM KITSURAGI - He kneels down with his head bowed, casting his face in shadow. He plants a hand on the ice to stabilize himself, squinting to get a better view of the motor carriage. “Detective, it says ‘57’ on it.”
YOU - Sweat drips down your brow, and you feel a terrible headache coming. “Maybe our joyrider has an affinity for that number?”
LOGIC - He's not stupid, he knows that it's not that.
KIM KITSURAGI - “57.”
YOU - “What about 57?”, you brace yourself.
KIM KITSURAGI - “Precinct 57.”
YOU - You wince. “Kim, look-”
KIM KITSURAGI - “When I woke up in the Whirling-in-Rags with no memory of what happened during the days before, I've taken note that something of mine has gone missing.” He grits his teeth. "A very. Important. Something."
He runs his hands over his face, messing his already unkempt hair in the process. Regret creeps up on his features. “God. Fuck. They’re going to fire me over this, they’re not going to hear me out.”
EMPATHY - Desperation settles in the lieutenant's tone. Sadly, you find yourself in agreement, even if you don’t want it to be the truth.
YOU - “People are more valuable than machines, Kim.”
KIM KITSURAGI - “Not people like me.” He rasps.
YOU - “…”
KIM KITSURAGI - Before you can say anything more, you fail to notice the lieutenant carefully walking onto the edge of the ice. He looks over the frigid water, a dizzying blue that mirrors and distorts his exhausted face back to him.
YOU - “Kim?”
KIM KITSURAGI - Seconds pass as he looks to be contemplating something. Out of nowhere, he casually takes another step where the ice ends and the sea begins. It happens all too quick for the lieutenant to even voice a call for help— if he even wanted to — his body plunging into the cold water before your eyes.
YOU - “KIM!!!!”

Something funny about the possibility of Lucky Guy being just that. A guy. Went to the manor with his closest friend for fun, only to end up in a hellhole all alone
The other survivors and hunters have all these complicated and rich backstories of why they came to the manor and Lucky just thinks to himself that he shouldn't have taken anything for granted back then. Worrying about his thesis and rushing to class looks so much easier now that he's in a game of life and death
He feels stupid for having gone to the manor. Test his luck? Yeah right. Lucky was too selfish. And now it cost him everything.
The first time the survivors and hunters finally step out of the manor, he doesn't believe it at first. The others celebrate, feeling like a huge burden has been lifted off of their shoulders.
Only Lucky stands to the side, staring at the phone in his hand. So many missed messages and calls.
(What was once cloth and cotton has turned into flesh and blood.)
Emma tries to call Lucky over to celebrate as well. Lucky looks up from the screen, and the gardener tries not to blanch at the dead look on his face. His eyes look tired.
"I need to get home."
And he still has that thesis to worry about.

cannot stop thinking about lupa and juno's reactions to jason's death. god did juno feel it when he died? did she hear his string get cut? did she wail loud enough that all of olympus heard it? what was it like realizing the boy she loved like a son was dead? was was it like watching his father not even shed a tear? was she the one to tell lupa? and on lupa's end, how angry do you think she was? this is her pup. her youngest pup. he was so young when he first started, when juno first gave him to her? he learned how to roughhouse with her packmates. he learned to fly with her! did she snap at juno? did she scream and curse and blame juno? did she howl mournfully?
#these are his moms!!!#not very good ones but his moms nonetheless!!#when he fought krios do you think he heard their voices in his head encouraging him#'victory or death jason' lupa says in head 'die like a roman or don't die at all.' jason picks up his sword again.#krios knock his sword out of his hand and jason bares his teeth. that's okay. he doesn't nned a weapon to fight#he wrestles krios to the floor and the titan's throat is bared and it would quick and simple to rip it out but he hesitates.#normal people dont do that. his head pounds. his lady's voice exhoes in his head 'go for the kill always my champion.'#jason leans down and clamps his teeth around krios' throat and rips it out. the titans gasps pathetically underneath him#it's not enough. he can already see the wound beginning to heal so he digs his fingers into the wound and starts pulling#the neck rips quickly once he gets started and he snaps the spine as he goes. finally with one last tug the head comes clean off.#he stands up from where he's kneeling over the body and picks up the head by its hair turning around to face the legion.#there is ichor staining his mouth golden. it drips onto his armor. he lifts the head up high. the legions stares at him in shock and awe.#they look terrified he notes absently. #kinnporsche#kinnporsche the series#kinnporche the series#porsche pachara#apo nattawin#zzarchive#i normally tag darlings but im going to think out loud a bit so ill spare you <3 if you do happen to see and read this. im so sorry sahjksdh#do ignore really. its late and idk what im saying anyway. maybe i;ll properly talk about this someday but this is just real fast real simple#so i dont forget#okay so. anyways. this took me so long. was very hard and weirdly confronting and cianshine if you happen to see this. i got through it!!!!#also had like three breakdowns but were ignoring that#anyways. onto the episode#when i first saw this ep it was so ridiculously confronting and jarring and i didnt know what to do with it all tbh. but making this set#really forced me to properly look at him so now i have even more thoughts#and the thing with this episode is#it is obviously very different from the first couple of eps and there is this clear shift in tone that is so deliberately put there#and its like this punch in the gut. this wake up call#and throughout this episode he just appears to be so so lost#he doesnt know what to do with these feelings. doesnt know what to properly make of them and you see it in literally everything he does#he is so obviously affected by it all but refuses to let it show because what good will it do#but then he also gets punished and then its not just him being lost#there is this clear sense of anger and betrayal#whats interesting about traumatic situations-idk what to call it so were going with that-is that its usually not just the actual situation#that fucks with you. it is the aftermath of it all that plays such a pivotal part in how you come out of it#and tbh i feel like that is vey much the case for porsche#because yes he is so confused about the whole situation. but then everything afterwards just leaves him with this clear sense of betrayal#and anger. and so he acts on those feelings. feelings he knows#but it just backfires and all he is left with is more hurt#but the second time theyre on his home ground and there is such a shift in power that was so necessary for this to work. but then they get#interrupted by dumbass men who go: boo time to die so that's the end of this i guess

and like more seriously just. the trust it's about the trust!!! trent doesn't rely on anyone and he gets himself out of bad situations and he's lowkey terrified of this hero who's got him cornered and he's been in this horrible situation for so long but then it's ted and he immediately relaxes. and ted--you know ted realized they had trent and immediately panicked and was ready to just bust in there and it was only beard holding him back and making him be practical about it that didnt have him just bursting through the walls ten minutes after realizing. and him realizing trent trusts him.... holding him and being like oh. i can protect him this way and i can comfort him this way and it's working... augh

Hey, Jil!! Just wanted to pop in because I've been watching videos with obscure Pokémon facts, and there was one with Steven that made me go, "Oh! It's neat that Jil's husband is so thoughtful!" And I had to run and tell you asdfghjkl
I believe it's in Emerald, but I know it's definitely in Gen III. Apparently, if you don't visit Steven and get Dive during the story (which could happen if you traded over a Pokémon who knew the HM, therefore bypassing seeing Steven to get it), the game has a little fail-safe where when you go at the end of the game to collect the Beldum he leaves for the player, he'll also leave the HM Dive, which you would have gotten during the story normally! And I just thought it was cute that such a tiny detail exists ... Steven is truly a sweetheart. /p
