Placed in the Golden Age.
During millitary drag preformences, when lady pitchiner was watching Kozmotis preform. (she had front row seat cause they lovey dovey)
She used to rest her arms on the stage and put her hand to her cheeks and look up when pitch came close to the front.
It's so she could peak up his skirt during performances, she did this with others, however she never peaked up their skirts. Only Kozs skirt, she did it caused no1 its her husband, she can do what she wants.
(and he is also a-okay with it, in fact it gives him a thrill and it makes him exited to do more performances that also boosted moral in the military and made it so people didnt just give up the fight)
And no2 with her 'peaking' to others, its false, she does it so there's a patterns to her behaviour and makes it so people are less likely to notice on what she's doing.

What is the tubehell challenge
The Tubehell Challenge is a challenge I made up for myself where I take the shoddy work of Andrea Wagginer (not sure how to spell her last name I normally just call her Andrea TubesForBrains or something instead for my own amusement) and rewrite it with the same limitations she had. Well not exactly the same cause I don't know what her exact limits are but ya know what I mean
Basically, I write what I believe was the intended story she was going for, with whatever modifications I deem necessary, all while using the exact same amount of words that she used. I have the exact same amount of time to tell the same story she did with the goal of doing the storyline more justice.
My Tubehell Challenge is specifically for two of her stories, The Storyteller (in the Bobbiedots Conclusion book I believe) and The Mimic (in the Nexie book I think?). They had what felt like a good storyline beneath the guff that was just so disappointingly done that it gave me the idea to do this in the first place. I came up with this as a joke, but now I'm committed because it feels really doable to me and easy way to pick up writing again, so this is what my Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month which is the 'write 50k words in the month of November' challenge) project is going to be this year.
The name of the challenge comes from how these stories of hers feel like a form of hell for me (yes I'm dramatic so sue me) and that she keeps going on about the fucking climbing tubes from Cleithrophobia. Which btw, I read the Wiki summary for that and it's the most stupid fucking death trap ever Ballora sends all those that cross her to the fucking Tubes now this is the joke I won't drop ever again lmao Andrea just really loves her fucking Tubes okay? She keeps killing people on them
But yeah I've maybe gone insane over how tormentingly bad these are. Just a bit.

my grandma can be so infuriating like she’ll just say things about you to your face that are patently untrue and a little hurtful. and its been getting worse over time but shes also just always been like this

rina's stuff with rey doesnt negate the abuse rina faced in the flora community. it doesnt make the fact their csa experience was used in a nsfw visual novel on a porn site when they're clearly not comfortable with it being there suddenly go away. it doesnt make their experience with w0z (whom glip is vehemently defending) suddenly stop being real. just like how glip's own abusive actions doesnt suddenly negate the fact that they themselves were abused. It just doesn't fucking work that way.
im so tired of glip's tactic of deflecting the blame when the person accused of something heinous is someone they're close to or even just themselves. we've seen it all before with lain and fluff. glip finds something they can use to paint the person as an unreliable narrator and they run with it because they know it's the only argument they have. they wont answer for the things theyve done they'll just point out how bad the accuser is, too! it's textbook bullshit but hey I guess it works for them huh.

Independent Reviews 5 - The British Museum
As a history and art nerd, the British Museum was mandatory to visit. The British Museum is probably one of the largest collections of historic artifacts and art in the world. And the museum is infamous among anyone with a smattering of anti-colonial sympathies as an egregious collection of imperial loot. That’s what I knew going in.
But there was a thought I had. I’ve heard a lot that “there’s nothing British in the British Museum”. While obviously hyperbolic, I wanted to see just how much of the collection is genuinely from Britain, or at least Western/Northern Europe.
What I found was that there is an almost overwhelming amount of artifacts on display from Britain alone, let alone the sheer amount from Western Europe at large. I spent a good 2 hours just cruising the collections of the Ancient European, Roman Britain, Anglo-Saxon and Early Middle Ages, Medieval, Renaissance, and Early Modern exhibits. Not even taking the time to really read and just look at the artifacts. If I wanted to do that, I’d need a whole day and probably another one too if I wanted to study the artifacts.
I took pictures of some of the collections, these are all ones from England, Britain, or Western Europe, all crowded together like this.
There was so much there that was British, English, or at least Western European. So much and it was crowded into a handful of rooms. How much better could I appreciate these artifacts if they gave back the stolen heritage here, and spread their artifacts out across the space instead? I saw the Sutton Hoo Helmet, the Battersea Shield, the Waterloo Helmet, I saw clasps and glass over a thousand years old. Beautiful crafts from England’s people going back millenia. Why isn’t that enough?

Something I’ve read a few times is that Britain and England especially is embarrassed by their history and culture, but it’s embarrassment isn’t the empire or the suffering, but the parts of their story they should cherish the most. Their folktales, their customs and quirks, their ancient artifacts, and their myths.
The British museum has said they can’t give back things like the Elgin Marbles or the Benin Bronzes or the Rosetta Stone because then their museum would be empty. But what I saw from Britain would take ages to truly appreciate. So is that what they think of Britain’s history? Of England’s millenia old history? That it’s nothing?
