Month 11, day 19
Did a little bit of translation work tonight because I'm struggling to read Athian again and I wanted to practice it :)
I was not expecting information on pilgrims on papers that look like diagrams for something lol. Anyway, these are papers pinned to the boards inside of the Cognoscent's Guilds. My kingdom for rips of these texture/image files so I can have cleaner, clearer text to work with. Alas, these will have to do

somewhat rough day today 😔
- didn't find any good books at the bookstore today
- the crowds outside were massive today which made me really anxious about the health risks. my anxiety had also partly stemmed from my dislike for big crowds in small spaces
- was caught in a heavy downpour on the way home
- a car sped past me (likely on purpose) through the flooded roads and drenched me from head to toe when i was walking home. honestly really mean-spirited of the driver to do that and i was so incensed i cursed them out under my breath in four diff languages lmfao
- the ramen that i bought home for dinner was too greasy and heavy... i didn't feel too good after the meal
- i'm feeling really tired and drained and headachey rn and i don't have the energy to do what i was originally planning to do tonight (to look for apartments, draw, buy books online). and it's such a bummer bc i've been spending quite a few consecutive saturdays in discomfort already and i was really hoping to break the streak today
but there were silver linings!
- my hair and makeup looked nice today!
- i spent about two hours in the bookstore today just reading, exploring, and observing (and overhearing interesting conversations). i may not have gotten anything to unwrap and look forward to reading in the end, but it was still time well spent
- my family knew i was caught in the rain for an hour so they waited for me outside with the door held wide open, which was the most comforting sight for me after a bad day <3 they also helped me dry my belongings while i took a warm shower
- I'm having an early night today!!! i love getting solid sleep hours i just never try bc ~revenge procrastination~ from work. i'm gonna feel so fresh tomorrow i can't wait
