a moment of silence for the young Christian pro-life girls who genuinely want to fix the world and stop “the genocide of babies”.
I just wish they’d actually put that passion and energy into something that can truly improve the situation, like improve the adoption system or promote better sex education or encourage for better medical studies on the women’s body and pregnancy to help women in the future. But no, they are taught that they have to “ban the murder of children” and they put their genuine passion into the wrong direction.

Some of yall deeply underestimate how much some cis men are threatened by trans men and our masculinity. How theres so many cis dudes out there that want to rape us, thinking that will make us detransition. How many incels out there are mad at us for betraying womanhood and not sucking their dick. How much they want to force us to detransition, how much they want to kill us and force us into hiding which, to me, minus well be killing us since theyre smothering who we are for the sake of a status quo. We shake their fundamental understanding of the world. Its one thing for a GIRL to be a tomboy to them. They think its cute, like a baby pretending to be an adult. Its a whole other thing for someone percieved as a woman to try to actually be a man to them. They think thw fact we have the gal to assume we can escape their grasp, to escape the kitchen or whatever tf, means we're disrespecting them and trying to "destroy" them, rather than what it really is, us trying to be independent. We're the exact thing these types of cis men hate. Sometimes they tolerate (emphasis here bc im not saying they accept yall. Dont twist my words)trans women bc they fetishize them but they want to completely eradicate us becayse we threaten the patriarchy by virtue of deciding we dont need a man to take care of us, we want to be the man that takes care of ourselves.

But let's not teach students how to have safe sex or reproductive health or anything that will actually fucking help them in life 🤬

How many babies have you killed because you did not want to take responsibility for your actions?
I am guessing you are referring to women having the right to reproductive care - up to and including abortion?
I have never been pregnant.
But don’t get it twisted, this space is very pro-choice, because it is an integral part of female health security. I am not pro-death, but I am definitely pro-choice.

A woman in England has just received a custodial sentence for using abortion pills begging the legal limit during lockdown.
I cannot, cannot emphasise enough how fucking awful this is and how much rage is coursing through me atm. Fuck the judge, fuck the COPFS, fuck the police.
She has 3 kids, one of them has ASN. The judge and the system have just fucked their whole lives up and for what? Medics wrote to the judge and asked for them not to do this.
I honestly do not know whether to scream or cry but if you’re reading this and you’re angry I’m begging you to organise.

Holy fucking shit.
They are out of their goddamn minds.
Then are those fertilized eggs "dependents?"
Do those fertilized eggs get child support?
How far are they going to go? Will the destruction of those stored fertilized eggs be considered "murder?" How far back? Is there a statute of limitations?
Will only the egg maker be charged with murder, or will the sperm donor also be charged?

It’s just all so damn inconsistent. If you’re a person from the moment of conception and birth makes no difference, why do we count age from birth and not conception? Because according to that stance, we’re all around 9 months older than we claim to be. And yet, even pro-life folks seem to count their age from birth, not conception. They celebrate birthdays, not conception days. The state (every country, afaik) counts your age from birth, not conception. No one seems to be campaigning for any form of recognition for the unborn (beyond banning abortion of course).
Why birth certs but no conception certs? Why no passports or any papers until after birth? If we had state recognition for unborn children, you wouldn’t even need to ban abortion. It would just fall under “murder”. And yet for some reason, it doesn’t. And no one is campaigning for that. No one is living their own lives according to that.
Almost as if there’s some kind of fundamental difference between born and unborn. Weird.

Saying “I’m opposed to abortion but will make an exception in cases of rape” is really not the nuanced, compassionate take anti choicers think it is.
It is basically saying that a woman must have her body violated before being allowed the most basic of autonomy over it. That is a shitty, shitty stance, mate.
And given that a large proportion of women never report their assaults, or aren’t believed or victim blamed even when they do, it’s an argument that falls flat on its face.
Abortion is a private, medical issue, and really no one’s business but the person who is getting one.

Given everything that Dr Torres has been through, one could be forgiven for thinking that Alabama must take extremely good care of its children . . . but one would be mistaken:
Source
"The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) announces the 2021 Alabama infant mortality rate is 7.6 deaths per 1,000 live births, with 443 infants dying during their first year of life. The state’s infant mortality for 2021 is an 8.6 percent increase over the 7.0 rate of 2020. Alabama's infant mortality rate, however, remains higher than the U.S. rate for 2021, which is provisionally 5.5. Infant deaths, fetal deaths, live births and estimated pregnancies all increased in Alabama from 2020 to 2021."
Source
Well, would you look at that . . . So yeah, you can miss me with the "pro-life" bullshit.

Wouldn’t it be great if rich men just didn’t create systems with the sole purpose of oppressing women?
