Angels’ trueforms in their most memorable moments [26/?] - Nephilim fetus: regular nephil, sired by a regular angel (above) and Jack, sired by Lucifer (below)

#NEW ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AGES!!! I TOLD YALL I WASN'T DONE WITH THIS!!!#SO sorry it took so long. i still can't control my artblocks. but i've had this idea for so long #spn #spnart #spn art #mine.caro #ok so. explanation time. cracking my knuckles. i haven't done this in so long ahhhh #so i HAD to do nephilim eventually. of course. and the key thing about them is they're the children of angels and humans #and i figured i'd start with a fetus bc that's the nephil version of the angel factory settings. and that needed a shape like the AFS did #it felt right to go with a sphere. and after the nephil is born and becomes a more distinct individual etc the spheres unravel in different #ways. some open up like pillbugs (woodlouse? i never know the right name). others sprout like seeds. others spiral out. the possibilities #are endless hehe. and the sphere had to have a mix of angel trueform and human soul. which i've been coding so far as the black and white #trueforms and collages. so that was settled. but that couldn't be it bc it's not just one and the other. they're integrated in one thing #so. for the regular nephil i filled out some cells in black like angel trueforms and others with collages. in the trueforms cells #and it's Earthly Things like plants and body parts and fruits and animals water and the sky and rocks etc. and a bigger solid collage block #that's just body parts. so specifically human stuff. AND THEN i took that sphere (well circle) and cut it up and kintsugi'ed it with #angel grace. feels like a way to go to represent nephil. and then i added the angel wheels to look like a sort of proto version of AFS #and that's regular nephil. for jack he had to be different bc lucifer nephil is thee antichrist. it's different. so i followed the samelogi #but based on the lucifer trueform instead of AFS. so i painted the solid black with alcohol-based markers so i could smudge it with alcohol #and then added the collage bits (more from a fitness magazine than a fashion magazine i used for the other one. gets a more aggressive vibe #i think. more flexed muscles) and painted the chaotic smoke cloud over it. and then i did the same kintsugi process. i was gonna do it in #silver but figured it made no sense. it should be the same. and the black and gold look cool #and what else. regular nephil has a rosary-like umbilical cord! emerging from one of the poles of the sphere so to speak #and jack has none :// partly bc i forgot at first kfjg but then i didn't go back to add it bc i feel that matches fetus jack's situation #considering it's an angel grace umbilical cord #and i think that's it!#these aren't up on the stores yet but im gonna add them now #hope they're worth the wait. if anyone was waiting for more #Trueforms

#concepts #i was thinking about those ridiculous protestant / puritan names and also guard dog archetypes and—yeah. yeahhh #six hundred kilometers is a true one actually. years ago my grand-aunt had this one dog—Dima. he'd gotten old and then during routine #the vet tech found a cancerous tumour in his bowels. she couldn't bear to watch him die so #in his endless wisdom my eldest uncle decided they should drive the dog very far away from home; make him comfortable; leave him there.#so they did. so they drove out a little over six hundred kilometers #because within a 300~350km RANGE around us they were sure he'd be able to find his way back #since he'd been going around w her everywhere his whole life #well. what do you know? Dima came back.#looking dirty and exhausted but the good boy made his way back #he lived longer than they thought he would too—for about one more year. died quietly with his head in her lap.#i'm very fine about this story obviously : )

Personal, death tw

My friend who was killed made the news? Its so bizarre to see her name in the news for this reason. She was always brilliant so her name should have been in the news for something like building new rocket parts or rovers for nasa like she'd always dreamed of, googling her name shouldn't lead to articles about her death or them arresting the guy who hit her or him trying to get out on bail and maybe flee the country. Right now I'm just trying to support her family in their strive for justice, while also dealing with my emotions, and it's all just feels so bizarre. No one tells you how bizarre grief can feel. She deserved so much better than this.

But thank you so much to everyone for your condolences and prayers, I truly appreciate it!

#Grief is weird #One guys recklessness lead to all of this #I want to be able to forgive him but it doesn't feel like my thing to forgive and I'm just so angry for everything he took from her #It feels weird wishing her to rest in peace when she didn't want rest or peacefullness she had so many plans and so much she wanted to do #But I do hope she feels happy with the life she lived and I hope she's united with God and whole despite having been taken to Him far too s #She lived her life to the fulllest and never hesitated and while she deserved the time to realize all her dreams I hope she is happy #With what she got to do with her time on earth #I hope that with God her endless curiosity can find answers and creativity can find a place as part of the power of creation #She always dreamed of the stars #I hope you can see them now and I hope they're everything you dreamed of ❤️#lisa <3

😍 Operation: Gros Michel (SquadOfCats) - 358K, stucky recovery fic - incredible, phenomenal fic - really digging in to trauma & recovery but in a way that doesn't feel too heavy/dark for very long - Steve's POV so we see his healing & recovery, and his finding purpose again. Amazing OCs. Plus a lot of really, really yummy sexy times. Reminds you that hope is an action, hope is hard, and hope has many manifestations of being. also makes you love Florida at least a little bit.

😊 Where The Inevitable Isn't (Survivah) - 41K, sterek, alternate dimension AU - enjoyable dimension hopping fic with Stiles Prime portaling to a more dystopic/gritty dimension where he & D are super together. I really liked the aspect that they could ping pong back & forth between dimensions, it wasn't just a one-time thing

Oh lmao yeah. y-rhywbeth and wilchur were talking about sorcerer Durge on my dash and I was like "Hm, that's interesting" and intended to go about my day. But then it wouldn't get out of my head, so I figured I'd start again and multiclass Kyvir into sorcerer/bard just to try it and get it out of my system and it's. it's been so good. So fun. The vibes are exquisite for him, I'm going to have to stick with it.

I know some ppl are like 'they're just making walking dead spin-offs for the sake of it' and I think that would be a fair enough assessment if anything we'd seen so far was shit or clearly rushed... but it hasn't been. it doesn't feel like they're just pumping shit out, they're telling good stories with great characters.. why complain about that 😭

Dreamling Inception AU where Hob sinks further and further in the Dreaming, delving through the layers and dimensions of Dream’s realm until he loses sight of what’s real and what’s fake. He knows he can kill himself in the Dreaming to wake up, but he’s convinced that he’s in the Waking; he’s not ready for Death’s gift yet. Not even Dream can force him to return to the Waking, but he can plant the idea that he’s dreaming in Hob’s mind, deep in his subconsciousness, buried in the dust and love of his childhood home. So Hob becomes obsessed with the idea that he’s in the Dreaming and he and Dream “commit suicide” to return to the Waking world.

Except that idea is still there. It’s still hidden in those ancient rooms, convincing Hob that he’s still in the Dreaming. Once again, Dream can’t disavow him of this notion for several reasons, not least of which being that he’s the one who planted the idea in the first place. Hob thinks that his entire life, his entire perfect life, his job at the university, his fellow professor friends, the New Inn, everything is a lie, is a dream. Cue Hob begging Death for her gift, not because he wants to die, but because he wants to return to the Waking, wants to return to his real life.

Matsumoto stands beside Ryousuke as Fumihiro starts the countdown. The Eight-Six sits before the S2000, engine revving in anticipation for the final count. Ryousuke watches them with a pensive look, his arms crossed over his chest and a slight frown pulling at his lips.

"Do you think everything is going to be fine?" Matsumoto finds himself asking. He knows that he shouldn't jinx it like this, but it's hard to forget that Takumi's hospitalization wasn't that long ago in the grand scheme of things.

Ryousuke narrows his eyes with just the barest hints of uncertainty. "Yes, I do."
