I can’t remember the name of the timepetals fic so if anyone recognises this scene please let me know the name but I once read a fic where Rose stayed with The Doctor and it went over the seasons but with Rose with him and there was one moment in the fic I loved.

In the fic’s rewrite of the episode The Runaway Bride when Donna is teleported onto the TARDIS she notices that Rose is on the ship and looks a little sad and obviously doesn’t know it’s because Rose just had to say goodbye to her mum, Pete and Mickey so she thinks that Rose has also been kidnapped by Ten like she assumed she had and is so sweet to her telling her that if she’s in trouble too she’ll help her and it was just so sweet!!

Because that’s the true Donna right there a person who has flaws, and can be a little abrupt and sometimes say things that can be a little insensitive when she’s stressed and doesn’t know the whole story but she’s also protective and kind and a woman who fights for what she believes in and in this fic she saw a young girl she thought might be in trouble and instantly thought to help her even though she is going through a stressful time too.

I hate fics that make her only traits be that she’s loud and sarcastic because yes that’s a fun part of her but it isn’t all she is and I loved it so much that this fic made her so kind and thoughtful because that’s who Donna Noble is and I’m sad that I can’t remember the fic name
