And that makes me think of Stolitz greatest showman type au where the accident never happened, and through the years, Stolas would sometimes sneak out to the circus to see Blitzø perform. Then on his wedding day, he just runs away and tries to get a job at the circus and Blitzø ends up being the one to teach him everything and Stolas keeps making mistakes because he can't properly focus around his crush.

Blitzø, after watching Stolas mess up another trick: You know what, if you're not really serious about any of this, just go back to your palace and live your carefree life.

Stolas: I'm sorry Blitzø. I am trying and do take this very seriously, I promise. I just... I'll try harder.

Blitzø: Yeah, I'll believe that when I see it, your highness.

After Blitzø leaves, Stolas sighs and then begins to perform every trick flawlessly while singing a song about how he's been longing for fun and freedom and most of all, Blitzø.

What he doesn't realize is that Blitzø actually heard and saw everything.

Fizz let slip that whenever Blitzø isn't around, Stolas is actually really good at all the tricks, and Blitzø decided to try spying on him to see if it was true.

Blitzø is a mess of emotions. He's surprised and confused and kinda in awe, but most of all, he's relieved because if Stolas had actually been as bad as he thought, he would have had to leave and Blitzø can't stand the idea of Stolas leaving him...

Eventually, Blitzø confronts him, and they have a Rewrite the Stars moment, but it ends with Bliztø walking away because even though he wants this, he still isn't entirely convinced Stolas won't go back to his old life once the novelty and thrill of the circus wears off.

randomly crying about iwasaki-san and hayama-san seeing each other as rivals and the symbiotic friendship that formed because of that relationship 😭😭😭

#this is vee speaking #iwasaki-san was sakakihara-san’s guest on one of his web shows the other day and they were an entertaining pair lol #unrelated to the post lmao but iwasaki-san is very able to be a tsukkomi or a boke depending on the situation #and it’s just kinda funny he defaults to tsukkomi around sakakihara-san lmao #anyway during the show the 9th live came up (obviously lol)#and during rehearsals he was struggling a fair amount with division rep battle actually #besides his own expectations as a performer what was a huge motivator for him #was how even during rehearsals hayama-san was blowing it out of the park and he wanted to keep up 🥺#and then he mentioned that again during the hangout stream after asanuma-san mentioned being impressed by their rehearsals #with how hayama-san stayed with iwasaki-san during their practices until he felt like he had the lyrics down 🥺🥺🥺🥺#hayama-san’s a natural on stage and iwasaki-san admires that lol #(hayama-san had his own worries while performing that song too tho he puts a lot of thought into his performances)#and hayama-san has always been envious of iwasaki-san’s top tier rap skills from the beginning #and that’s also helped fuel his own desires to get better at rap lol #i wonder if they still have the nagosaka group chat 😭😭😭😭#hayama-san mentioned they’d tease each other when they felt particularly upstaged lmao #some shounen mcs out here wishes their rivalry was as uplifting and fun as iwasaki-san’s and hayama-san’s lol #c: seiyuu stuff

#i’m kind of really heartbroken right now #so i had tickets to the hot freaks concert and went tonight—which i don’t mind posting on here because i live several hours away #so basically i drove to the venue for several hours and stopped like once for food #it was my understanding that windsor was opening and then the hot freaks and then the happy fits i guess but i didn’t know the exact times #we were running a bit late bc of the road trip and walked in at 7:25 (the show started at 7) and i got to see the tail end of ‘boyfriend’#& i was like ‘oh okay i just missed their first song’ but then they walked off stage and my heart dropped. i missed everything #and yeah it’s on me because i must have had a misunderstanding about how the show worked #i’d never even heard of a show where an act performs for 20-25 minutes unless it’s like a variety show or something #i did cry about it already and just tried to have a good rest of the night since we’d already driven for hours #i got to meet the band at the merch table which was really cool and they gave me a free signed CD & sticker & friendship bracelet because—#they felt bad for me. which was very sweet (i also bought a shirt)#i know i should be grateful i was even able to go to the concert. and i still had fun but part of me will always be heartbroken #because financially/geographically it’s not smart to go to another show even further away just to see a 25 minute set when i’ve already got #the merch & all. plus i can listen to them on Spotify #i can only hope they come to a location closer to where i live #but there’s no guarantee because they’re so underground. they only resurfaced because of stupid tiktok & they’re only popular enough to be—#half of an opening act. so they could potentially never go on tour again #if i had more of a platform i would boost their music more but i don’t #i know it’ll be okay. it’s just a lot of things have been going shitty lately and i thought this would make me feel better and it just—#went to shit #tw vent #rose.txt

friends! guidance please?

my daisy jones spiral and @actuallylukedanes being generally awesome has reminded me how much i miss writing songs, and how much i used to want to learn to play guitar--and my best friend suggested a guitar could be my birthday gift this year. (i'm not used to asking for 'frivolous' or dreamy gifts any more, so it's become a really nice idea.)

november is still a long way off, but there seem to be a lot of used guitars floating around that i'll be able to choose from when it's time. i don't think i need anything fancy or special since i'll be such a beginner, just something acoustic that's cheap and also pretty if possible (they come in colors! i love that).

but i've realized that when it comes to buying from someone local, a method that worked really well for me the last time i needed furniture...i have no idea if there's anything i should know or look for when it's a guitar. because i don't yet play guitar! is there some way for me to know i'm buying one that works?

this feels like a dumb or obvious question, but since the choosing/arranging will be up to me, i don't want to be the reason my family buys me a birthday gift that turns out to be, like, broken or something. i'm not always the most possessing of what could be considered common sense. so, for those who might know: is it really obvious when a guitar is broken, off, nonfuctional? do i need to worry?

have a new character who plays the harp so I looked up just “harp cover” because idk I just want to start thinking about how it would look/sound, but anyway now I’ve come to the conclusion that Fireflies should never be played on anything but the harp.

#rose and rambles #prosie's writing adventures #i decided this like one measure into the video #obvs my goal is to find songs that fit the characters and ya know what maybe fireflies does but eh im still perusing #fun fact! in the fairy tale by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve #Beauty is very skilled with instruments and singing and performs for her family to lift their spirits #hence the harp thing #but also i thought it was so interesting how the fairy tale *does* mention that she likes reading and the beast's library #but it's only in passing and its more of a 'oh that could be a way to pass the time'#UNTIL SHE FINDS THE MAGIC MIRROR #and then she uses it to watch operas and plays and stuff from afar and/or the servants in the castle put on performances for her #I do think the disney version did so much more for developing the beast's character and from a writing perspective #the fact that his curse is so closely tied to his own character arc is much tighter writing #but it's also interesting how disney has truly impacted all subsequent retellings of beauty and the beast #to the point that the beast's arrogance and belle's love of books has become synonymous with the fairy tale #okay end of ramble and back to harp covers

Worst ending is probably just that bl*ck b*tler song that baited me (yes i am now "blurring" it out as this is the end part of the post that's meant to end as a reprieve)

and not to say that would necessarily be a bad way to end the post. hells, it might be the interesting (♒🌞) way to conclude this post.
