No, cuz like
during the cloning arc of Danny, there's at least ONE clone that escaped without Vlad's knowledge. It was a bit more cunning and smart and knew that they had to get away.
The thing is, this clone Danny isn't a halfa at all, its a full on human. Alive and not half dead.
But it is sick and frail so when this clone Danny manages to get to the doorstep of Gotham, it was surprising.
lets call clone Danny as Daniel since it was the name that Vlad mostly used in his mutterings that Daniel caught on.
And while Daniel is in Gotham, sickly and lying on one of the rooftops, he met a vigilante with a red helmet.
"What the-?" Red Hood questioned when he saw Daniel's mouth dripping green blood or some kind of goop, which in turn reminded Red Hood of the Lazarus Pits.
"Who are you, kid?" Red Hood crouches down slowly to Daniel but the boy only turned his back on him, coughing and wheezing, "Hey! What happened to you?!" alarmed and confused, Red Hood shakes the boy gently. His fingertips could easily felt the cold coming off from Daniel's body.
And when Daniel stopped coughing, he faced Red Hood with a tired smile, "I'm fine." Daniel answered, "But I can't be here forever..." he added before coughing up some more of those green goop.
"Hold on, kid." Red Hood said, "I'll get you some help." but Daniel stopped him from leaving.
"Don't. I know when my time is up." Daniel said, "I'm just glad that I get to explore this far..." he wheezes out, "Don't feel bad tho... I'm just a clone..." Daniel stopped breathing.
And Red Hood thinks he's Tim's clone.

Okay, you’d probably expect a dump of feelings regarding La Casa de Papel P4:
( here be spoilers, obviously )
It’s a fact that the writing of LCDP has never been brilliant. The heist was clever, but some scenes were far-fetched and the dialogue faltered many times. Still, I was mainly here for the characters: criminals, flawed people whose human side was revealed through the episodes, that was the reason why I got attached to the show.
I can’t help but to feel disappointed that they seemed to have lost perspective of them: the characters were turned into puppets for the sake of dRAmA!!1, became caricatures of what they used to be - this is already our 4th year with them, we know them, and please don’t call it character development when it’s so obviously just bad writing. They deserved better than this.
That being said:
- It’s not even the fact that Nairobi was killed; it’s the fact they’ve created and developed a strong female character, shot her for a cliffhanger at the end of P3, saved her at the beginning of P4, had both her body and mind tortured multiple times while still not fully recovered, and then simply put a bullet in her head by betrayal, with no honor nor glory. And for what, shock value?! Fuck you!!
- Since we’re talking about Nairobi: it’s not that she shouldn’t want to be a mother ( people claiming but she’s a feminist!! can shut the fuck up ), but she already was a mother, despite having no son for years, one that once got offended after being told that she should just have another baby to replace the one she had lost. Now, not only they gave me no closure regarding Axel and the way the Police used him to bring her down, but they also forced me to witness this marvellous woman emotionally manipulating a man that she knew to be in a committed relationship to have a baby with her and then partying with his partner ( her supposed friend ) without telling her the truth;
- The same can be pointed at Tokio, going ( again! ) after Denver, “ let’s fuck and pretend it never happened “ - they actually tried to tell us female friendships, yay!! and then have her sexually pining after her supposed friend’s husband, twice. Like, what are even women to each other if not rude bitches, right?
- Look, I don’t know what kind of wet dream these writers have about Tokio, but it’s time for them to actually acknowledge her faults, no? Nairobi would never consider her a good leader; the team would never accept her as a good leader; Tokio is simply not a good leader. Also, so much disgust at all the sexual innuendos between her and Gandía and the general idea that he only kept her alive because she turned him on...
- I was honestly laughing at the whole surgery scene; I gave it a pass when they helped Mónica with that infected wound back in P1 because..., but this was so ridiculous it was too much for me to bear. Tokio is becoming the Rachel Berry of LCDP and you have no idea how much it bothers me to write these actual words;
- She still had her moments, though. Not enough for me to love her, but I will always defend Tokio from a fandom who hates on her at the same time that idolatrizes Berlín, for fuck’s sake... -.-
- Raquel was one of the best characters this show had on P1-2. If Lisboa doesn’t grow a personality detached from El Profesor, I’ll be punching a wall, seriously, what did you reduce her to?
- But not everything was bad: Estocolmo is still MY GIRL!!!1 I’m still pissed they had to break up her marriage to give her some attention ( women are allowed to have partners and a life beyond them, in case you didn’t know ), but I generally liked her in P4 and how she’s slowly gaining her own place within the team. The whole discussion about seeing Denver in a new light was interesting ( I could write a whole essay about it ), but should have been better worded and developed, especially because this fandom is overall dumb and is already blaming it on her - but what else is new?
- I’m also only supporting this because I believe she’s dealing with her previous choices, and basically coming together after the initial Stockholm Syndrome, and will eventually get back together with Denver. If not, I’ll burn Netflix down;
- Also, being sad that Nairobi died, yes; coming after Estocolmo because she should have died instead, no, fuck you!! >:(
- Now, the major disappointment: thanks for throwing THREE years of development out of the window so Denver could chase Tokio’s ass, as if he ever felt for her half of the things he apparently did on P4, and thanks for nearly ruining my favorite character on this fuckery, starting with his rude commentaries about women ( he was in love with Mónica and still pushed her away because she wasn’t able to fully consent their relationship, but sure, let’s all agree that he sees women like cars because so funny!! Also, implying that he only ended up with Mónica because he couldn’t get Tokio, yes, that’s totally what happened, who the fuck wrote this shit...?? ) and ending on the toxic jealousy over his best friend being traumatized and finding his only comfort with his wife ( like, WTF was that even?! );
- Managing to regress Denver into someone he even wasn’t at the beginning of the show was probably worse than watching him die somewhere along the way, and, trust me, I hate to write this :’(((
- But thank you ( and this goes to Jaime Lorente, not the stupid writers ) for bringing him back on the last episodes. I guess this is what you get when writers don’t know how to properly do their jobs, but the writing has been a general mess since P3 so I’m choosing to still love him and want all good things for him. Including his wife back, because admitting his shit and trying to be better is still Denver’s redeeming quality, and I think she’s ready to accept that;
- I still think Ricardo is a better fit than Daniel :(((
- I admit that Manila was cool, but she still felt like a way for the show to gain some diversity points with a trans character that is not even played by a trans actress... Her conversation with Denver, although sweet, was vague and only complemented the initial feeling, since it could have lead him to reorganize his thoughts over male/female friendships ( as if P1-3!Denver ever needed that... ) and eventually served for nothing;
- That is, I’m choosing to believe they won’t make Denver/Manila happen on P5 because fuck them if they do...
- Also fuck everyone who’s coming after Río for being weak, and fuck whoever let the boy stay at the Bank after months of torture. The writing of his arc was just as bad as nearly everyone else’s ( perfectly able to shoot a missile in one day, incapable of holding a gun against Gandía on the other, wants everyone to kill him next... ) but his friendship with Estocolmo was worth it, loved them;
- He’s also a baby and he’s now Estocolmo and Denver’s new baby <333
- Last, but not least: I really didn’t like the way they turned Arturito into a major creep and confirmed rapist. This was a character we hated on principle, for being a headache and playing hero when he wasn’t more than an idiot, but this... What was even the point of this?
Some other random thoughts I have left:
- Helsinki: honestly, stop hurting him, please;
 - El Profesor: I can’t get myself to like his character, sorry I’m not sorry;
- Marsella: a good boy;
- Palermo: please die;
- Bogotá: not convinced, still don’t like him, can still die;
- Sierra: the best antagonist;
- Antoñanzas: the best sidekick;
- Moscú: I missed you, papa </3/3/3
- Berlín: * you’re not allowed in Heaven with the rest of them, go back to Hell, motherfucker *
- The Bank’s governor was cool, helping to save Nairobi, protecting Amanda and telling Arturito off :)))
- Hope Amanda gets her well-deserved revenge, let her cut Arturito’s dick when he’s asleep ( or awake, it doesn’t really matter );
- I missed Cincinnati and Miguel x_x
Also, the cast and crew saying P4 was a satisfying ending when it so obviously was a non-ending felt dishonest and I don’t like being played like that. Just assume you’re trying to milk the most out of it - and apparently losing grip of it all together.
So, yeah, I’ll be back for P5 because they left me hanging on, but the disappointment is real. I wish they had left it where it was supposed to end. :(((

If Merci could, she’d live forever.
But that's not how life works. Truly, you have no control over your life. You’re born when life chooses and you die when life chooses. Everything that happens in between is also life’s choice, though somewhere along the way life tricks you into believing it's yours. And it seems life had decided to cut Merci’s short.
Being in a gang was dangerous. Everything about it was dangerous. But Merci wouldn't give up the Verdelet’s for anything. Not even for her own life. Still the men in front of her tried to get information from her. She knew they'd end up killing her if she didn't speak up and it scared her. But she wasn't going to say anything because either way they’d kill her. It was either she spoke up and got herself along with everyone she cared for killed, or she stayed quiet and took death herself. All she wanted to do was go home and hold her brother, they'd watch a few cartoons until he was asleep and then she'd spend the night making sure he was still breathing. But it seemed like that wasn't an option.
A small tear streamed down her face as she thought of how’d she’d die in that basement and would never be able to see her brothers again. How she’d never be able to see Quinn and Daniel again. The small tear streamed down her face, burning the cuts that scattered her cheek as it did. If someone were to ask her how long she had been in that dark and cold basement she wouldn't have been able to answer. Everything seemed to be clashing together and she barely even knew what was happening at that point.
Feeling the sharp blade being forcefully pushed into her thigh, Merci winced in pain, her teeth gritting as to stop the screams from being shouted. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction of hearing her pain. If she were to die she was going to make her death be a burden on those who caused it, not a reward. The man that stood a few feet in front of her watched as his men tortured the girl, his smug expression had been replaced with annoyance when he began realizing the girl wasn't going to break.
What Merci hadn't realized was that it had already been two days of this. Two days of utter torture. At first they had started with just using their fist. Pulling her hair and slapping her occasionally. But when she continued to refuse speaking they had started using weapons. Her entire back had an ugly and painful burn from a torch they had used to burn the skin off. Her arm had been hit with a bat multiple times and now lied limp at her side, pointing off in an uncomfortably painful angled. Her thighs had multiple stand wounds in them that were leaking a unsafe amount of blood. Her face was barely recognizable, cuts, bruises and burn marks from cigarettes decorated her entire face while both eyes were practically swollen completely shut. Her long black and blue locks had been unevenly cut, though that was more for their amusement than as torture.
Merci’s head lulled back, her body was too weak now. Her body ached, every part of it. And she was second from begging them to just kill her. The thought alone made her incredibly sad. Merci didn't want to die. She wanted to live. She had so much left to do. She had to be there on Eden’s first day of school. On Maddox’ birthday. When Quinn won her fight against drugs. When Daniel’s children were born. She was supposed to live, live to see those days. She had to live. She couldn't leave, not like this anyways. She was supposed to die from old age. She had planned her life. She knew what she had wanted, and it wasn't this.
She was supposed to watch her brother grow up, watch him go to school, make friends, go to prom. She was supposed to make an album of pictures of Eden. From first day of school photos, to prom pictures. There's surely be pictures of his graduation and wedding in there too. She was supposed to meet the love of Eden’s life. Threaten to punt her if she hurt Eden then hug her and welcome her into the family. Merci's family had been ripped apart long ago but what was left of it was what mattered. And boy did the two boys matter to her.
She was supposed to marry the love of her life. Spend her dying days in the arms of the girl she promised nothing but death would do them part. In her spare time she had often imagined that as a life for her and Quinn. She had never said that to anyone for she knew if that were the case it wouldn't be for a long time. Still, it was a pretty picture she had painted in her mind. Quinn.. Merci’s mind filled with imagines of the girl. Oh how Merci loved her. With baggage and all Merci would have chosen her over any other. She was, is worth the fight. Her addiction wasn't her. It was something life made from a back choice Quinn made. But above all, Quinn was an amazing women. Merci hated how she wouldn't live to make that known.
She was supposed to talk Daniel into naming his daughter merci. She was supposed to say, “I'll meet you halfway, name the baby Poptart-Merci” Then laugh as if it was the funniest joke of all. She was supposed to jump from bed when she got the “Im having a fucking baby” text. Rush to the hospital and threaten as many nurses as it took before she was let into the room. She was supposed to scream at Daniel, tell him if he passed out while his baby was being brought into the world she'd punt him into space. She was supposed to laugh with Daniel years later when they talked about how he passed out. She was supposed to say, “I'm still gonna punt you, Arm Boy. I'm just waiting until you least expect it!”
She was supposed to cry happy tears as she stared at the baby with Genni. She was supposed to hear her call her mc. At least one more time. She had to hear it again. This couldn't be the end right? She had to buy cute baby clothes for Genni. Offer to help throw a baby shower. Why hasn't she told Genni how good of a mother she was going to be? She wish she had, more than ever.
She had it all planned out. Maddox would find someone, maybe it would be Val. Genni and Daniel would be happier than ever. Her and Quinn had figured everything out. They all stood around a fire, one Daniel and Merci set up. Their loved ones all around them, most of the gang there. Eden was with his friends in his room. Teenagers, right? Daniels kids were running around, their laughter filling the air like soft harmonies. Trixie was there, too. She had just walked away from where Merci stood after having endured Quinn’s words. She ran after Poptart. The kid having stolen one too many cookies from the kitchen which Trixie was trying to get away her. Too much sugar before bedtime was against the rules.
At the thought of how she had planned her future a small laugh left Mercis lips. What she hadn't known, since she was too busy thinking about those she loved, was the men in front of her held a gun pointed at her chest. Believing she had laughed at him he instantly pulled the trigger. “Leave her body on her front steps, let them deal with it.” She heard as pain surged through her chest, spreading like wildfire until it took over her entire body.
The drive to her home was one spent going from conscious to unconscious, shaking unforgettable as death slowly took hold of her being. Before she knew it she was being picked up only to be dropped onto the ground moments later. Hearing the sound of pounding on a door before feet stomping on the floor. The screech off a car could be heard off in the distance as drops of blood slide down her lips. The squeak of a door was the last thing she heard, everything else was left for her brother to deal with.

Whether you didn’t have time to watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones, and want to know what’s going on, or if you missed out on some bits and want to get quickly caught up, we’ve got all the details you need. It shouldn’t need saying, but obviously, what follows is FULL OF SPOILERS for Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 1. With that out of the way, let’s get on with the recap.
Of all the possible starting points for Game of Thrones’ penultimate season, the Twins would appear very low on most people’s lists. But that’s where we began, with Lord Frey hosting a feast for members of his household. Wait, wasn’t he killed by Arya last season? It seemed unusual for a show to begin with a flashback, possibly showing Lord Frey’s death from another perspective. Something about it seemed off from the start, though. Frey is not only throwing a second feast in a fortnight, as he says, but he is also using self-deprecating humour that you wouldn’t normally associate with him. He then tells them to drink up the Arbor gold, rather than the Dornish “horse piss” they are used to.
When the glass doesn’t touch his lips, you realise he’s poisoned his own people. Game of Thrones has trained us enough to expect the worst. But it became a notch weirder when he started listing what they had done at the Red Wedding, and how they had enjoyed doing it, while avoiding his own culpability. You killed “a woman with a babe, a mother of five”, Frey says to his gathered family. Things become much clearer as everyone starts to fall on the floor. Pulling off the Frey mask off her face, the person reveals herself to be none other than Arya underneath. If you thought killing their ruler last season was justice enough, then you clearly don’t know the Braavosi-trained Arya well enough.
Post that, we jump north of the Wall to see the slow march of the White Walkers, with a giant fog enveloping their movement. There’s little new here, except a few giants, but it’s more of a reminder for what has always been coming. The scene cuts to reveal Bran Stark observing it via his warging skills, who has made it to the Wall thanks to Meera Reed (and Benjen Stark last year). There, the two meet new Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch Eddison Tollett who wonders how he can believe who they say they are. But after Bran tells him about past events that a regular person can’t have known about, Tollett accepts their explanation and gives them safe passage.

At Winterfell, meanwhile, the new King in the North, Jon Snow, is instructing his allies about how they need to prepare for the coming of the dead. Every man, woman, and child needs to prepare for the long winter, he says, because we can’t fight this war with only half our people. Lord Glover objects to putting arms in the hands of his granddaughter, giving everyone’s favourite young ruler Lyanna Mormont another chance to scold the adults.
Another important thing of course, Jon adds, is to man the castles along and nearest to the Wall. He means to let the Northern lords who fought against him keep their lands. Sansa objects to the Umbers and Karstarks getting their ancestral homes back, since they supported Ramsay Bolton, but Jon understands they cannot alienate anyone, and he isn’t going to punish the next generation for their fathers’ sins. He invites the new rulers, Ned Umber and Alys Karstark – two children fearful for their safety – to pledge loyalty to House Stark.
After the meeting, Jon Snow complains to Sansa for undermining him in front of everyone. Sansa notes Joffrey was a king who never let anyone question his authority, which is a wild comparison by any standard. An aghast Jon wonders if she thinks he’s Joffrey, and she assures him he’s as far from Joffrey as anyone she’s ever met. Sansa’s actions are out of concern for Jon, she says, as she wants him to keep his head, unlike her father, or Robb. Just then, a message comes from Queen Cersei, asking Jon to travel to King’s Landing and bend the knee. Having seen what the woman is capable of, she tells Jon to be wary and not forget his enemies to the South while he’s so focused on the North.
At King’s Landing, meanwhile, Cersei is overseeing the meticulous construction of a room-sized map of Westeros. Jaime’s entrance provides the perfect surrogate reaction for the audience, who glances at what the hell her sister has been up to, and bluntly asks what it’s supposed to be. It’s what they have been have waiting their whole lives for, she remarks, which is supposed to signify Lannisters’ rightful position at the top of the pecking order. Cersei asks why Jaime has been so quiet since his return. He answers in the negative when she asks if he’s angry, and when asked if he’s afraid of her, he wonders aloud: “Should I be?” Cersei brings up their brother, Tyrion, who she knows has been named the hand of Daenerys. She asks Jaime where their armada would land. Jaime points to Dragonstone, since it isn’t guarded, and is her birthplace.

Cersei says they need to plan for a war, with enemies on all four fronts. Jaime reminders her they have more pressing concerns with winter here, and corrects her when she calls herself the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. “Three kingdoms at best,” he says. Cersei knows the rule of game of thrones, and she knows if they lose, they die. But if they win, they could launch a thousand-year dynasty, which sounds a lot like something Hitler would’ve said. Jaime bluntly asks whom the dynasty is for, considering all their children are now dead.
Jaime then says even the Lannisters need need allies to survive, and it doesn’t look like they have any. Cersei is two steps ahead though, and she’s already contacted someone. Herald the coming of a thousand Greyjoy ships, under their new leader Euron, as we predicted correctly from the trailer. In the Red Keep’s throne room, the three – Cersei, Jaime, and Euron – bicker about how the Greyjoys have tended to break promises in the past. Euron says he’d love to kill his family members (Yara and Theon), and the fact they have banded with Tyrion puts them on the same side. He also fires multiple zingers towards Cersei and Jaime’s relationship, before bringing up his own intentions. He wishes to marry the new Queen, but Cersei declines it saying he’s not trustworthy. Euron understands that the best way to a woman’s heart is with a gift, and he’ll not return to King’s Landing until he has that. Tyrion’s head would be special, but any one of her other enemies might do fine.
Cut to the Citadel, where Samwell Tarly is being put through the paces while learning to be an apprentice. Rather than spend all his time with books, as he’d love to, he’s also tasked with being a servant for the other maesters, including serving them food and cleaning their bedpans. It’s gross, and a repulsive coincidence that the two don’t look very different, and the montage the director Jeremy Podeswa constructs out of them can be quite off-putting to watch. What Sam needs access to, in terms of literature, is locked behind gates and restricted to maesters. Considering the danger posed to the living, Sam requests access while helping one such maester weigh the organs of a human body; Westeros may have magic and spells, but their knowledge of biology is still some ways behind. Though the archmaester admits the tales of the Long Night can’t be all fabrication, he eventually refuses and says that the Wall has stood for nearly a thousand years. “Every winter that ever came has ended,” he adds. With no way left, and time running out, Sam steals the keys at night, and enters the restricted area by himself.

Back at Winterfell, Brienne is training her squire Podrick. Looking at them from some distance away is Sansa, when she’s interrupted by Littlefinger. He gets in a couple of compliments for Brienne as an ice-breaker, but Sansa knows his tricks by now. Without any pleasantries, she bluntly asks him: “What do you want, Lord Baelish?” Of course, you can expect him to never get straight to his point. He says he wants her to be happy and safe, and Sansa tolerates him until Brienne enters. After Littlefinger departs, Brienne asks why he’s still at Winterfell. The Starks still need his men, the Knights of the Vale, without whom they would have lost the Battle of Winterfell.
Somewhere in the Riverlands, Arya is travelling on a horse after murdering most of the Frey household. She encounters Lannisters soldiers sitting around a fire. Ed Sheeran is playing one of the soldiers, and fittingly enough, he’s singing a song. After Arya compliments it, the soldiers invite her in and offer their food. She looks around and makes note of where their swords are placed. The soldiers are on their way to the Twins to keep peace, a situation Arya knows more than enough about. When they ask why she’s going to King’s Landing on her own, Arya takes a sip of the blackberry wine and then adds with a poker face: “I’m going to kill the queen.” At first, everyone just looks at each other silently and then they all burst into laughter, with Arya joining them. Who would be foolish enough to say that in front of the Queen’s men, let alone a little girl her size.
Further north, Sandor Clegane and the Brotherhood Without Banners are making true on their promise to fight the advance of the White Walkers. They come by an abandoned house and identify it as a place to rest, but the Hound recognises it and wishes to avoid it. inside, they find the bodies of a man and his daughter who killed themselves before they’d starve to death. It’s the same family from whom Clegane stole while he was with Arya, and you can see the guilt etched all over his face.
After Thoros of Myr lights a fire, Clegane and Dondarrion bicker over why the Lord of Light keeps bringing the latter back. Thoros tells him to come near the fire, something the Hound has always done his best to avoid since the incident with his brother. He reluctantly agrees, and as he steps near, Thoros tells him to look intently into the flames. He says he sees the Wall, the dead marching over it, and a castle by the sea. All of that hints towards Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, which was also the castle Jon Snow had brought up with his people. Judging by what we glimpsed from the trailer, it seems both Jon and Dondarrion’s forces will meet there later in the season. Later at night, Thoros goes outside after hearing sounds, and he finds Clegane digging a grave for the aforementioned deceased, giving them a proper burial in the process.

We’re back at Citadel then with Sam, who’s poring over the books he stole. He finds a map for dragonglass in one of the books, which points to there being an entire mountain of it under Dragonstone. Well, you’re going to need Daenerys’ help getting to that. Going through his morning routine the next day, Sam is frightened by a man with greyscale who attempts to grab his arm through the small opening of a cellar. He asks if the Dragon Queen, Daenerys Stormborn, has arrived yet. The man inside is obviously Jorah Mormont, who was dispatched by the Khaleesi last season to find a cure for his sickness.
Cut to the Dragon Queen herself. Her armada has crossed the Narrow Sea and arrived at Dragonstone, as everyone has already surmised. Still, it’s a scene of heavy significance in many ways. For one, Dany has kept repeating her wish to return to Westeros since the beginning. And she’s finally here. Two, she was born at Dragonstone so it means more to her personally. Lastly, it was the place that her ancestors chose to build a trading outpost on, and later a castle, during the days of the Valyrian Freehold.
Dragonstone’s is known for being an easy castle to protect, but now that it’s been left abandoned, Dany and her aides simply walk in. She pulls down the Baratheon banners, and inspects the throne room where many of her Targaryen ancestors sat. Instead of placing herself on the seat, she walks by it into the map room that Stannis spent a lot of time in. The Chamber of the Painted Table, as it’s properly known. After inspecting the table’s contents, and with Tyrion by her side, she says: “Shall we begin?” Daenerys has waited a long time for this, and she’s clearly restless to begin her conquest of Westeros. At the same time, it feels as if the writers are communicating with the audience too. Now that we finally have the chess pieces in place, are you ready for what’s coming?
