i went out the other day and ran across some nice dresses so ofc i had to draw @sunnyys-jarss's roommate au boys in them! Forgive me for the poor form of dresses and poses; I'm not very used to drawing people in formal clothing, so this was good practice!

#reason i wanted to change koe's design was bc i felt like the first one was a bit too basic ig?#wanted to give it more personality beyond being a maid outfit#so a funkier skirt and shorter sleeves and gloves and stuff. idk its more koe and less maid. but still maid#other than that obviously are the two wholly new characters#honestly designing them was interesting in a way bc it was like reverse engineering andys face#i think she takes after her mom more tho#but she also does try to emulate her so thats also part of it#honestly andy is really similar to amary in a lot of ways not just bc of the whole princess thing but the family dynamics to a degree too#there are still some pretty big differences (andy wasnt abused but her father is still really strict and constraining out of worry#and amary's mom was actually kinda the polar opposite of andy's and their emulations are completely different too)#BUT#look read cepheus's flaw. hes not going to be a good guy lol#hes the type that starts out nice enough on the surface but when pushed it will become. again. ends justify the means#very.... Heyoo! I finally got the charm I had design and it came out okay lol. I believe I made the Beast too blue and dark, but I can fix that. I'm gonna talk abit more below.
I think it came out well, but I'm more disappointed on the quality of the charm and print? I ordered 3 and on one of them, there is an apparent white layer that wasn't cleaned off well. Idk about acrylic charm making, but I don't like that white layer being so visible like that.
And I also don't like how visible Belle's face is on the Beast's side. Behind her hair, you can see her face which makes me a lil upset. It can also be like that with the Beast's eyes where you see his other pupil on his side. Idk if the print wasn't thick enough or if the lineart is dark enough to see thru, but I have double sided design charms myself and they don't have that problem of seeing the design from the back/front side. Unless pink is a very transparent color or something? I want to know why her face is haunting me on the other side of the charm :/
I was hoping I could sell these if people were interested, but I don't think it's good and I don't want to give out this quality of a charm.
I got these from Vograce and I don't know the general quality of their charms from other people, but I would like to know if someone had similar experiences. I could have gotten a bad batch or I did something wrong on my end.
Overall, these are okay and I'm disappointed XD. Thank you for reading this small rant lol.

Hot take but I never adjusted to Hiccups colour pallet being changed to primarily red

Hi! I know you’ve answered this before but there’s been some drama in the book binding community recently and I just wanted to get your official stance so I’m not stepping on your toes. Obviously no illegal binds but are you okay with people commissioning non profit binds of your fics? Or do you prefer explicitly personal binds. I know a lot of authors used to allow non profit commissions but have decided they weren’t comfortable with that anymore and will only allow it as gifts at most.
i went and dug up my previous answers because i couldn't remember exactly what i said and right, what you're asking isn't answered very clearly, so: i am okay with book-binding my work on AO3 only for personal use. i am not okay with not-for-profit book-binding commissions of my work. i am never okay with book-binding my work for profit.
additionally, 1) thank you for asking! 2) if anyone has seen any binds of my fics around i would like to see them... i've been asked for permission a few times but have never been shown any :( 3) i would love to know The Drama

Finishing my WIPs was just an excuse to cast on all over lace project. Day one always has the most impressive progress.
#knitting#lace rot#knitblr#lace knitting#wip#this wasn't even the all over lace project i wanted to cast on. my brain has been having a Mental Illness Moment recently#i have three other projects lined up and it just went actually what if we knit a hannukah gift in less than a month so ig we're trying that#at least it's pretty. this purple is so intense. hopefully this yarn blocks well (acrylic/nylon blend) so the actual pattern shows.#i don't mind how it looks just kinda textured while scrunkly but the actual pattern is WAYYY nicer#godwilling i'll get more work done on this today. had my covid booster yesterday and it's kicking my ass along with seasonal depression#also if anyone recognizes this pattern i added two additional garter stitches to either end so that's why it's a little funky#also i am actually using stitch markers this time!! only two because i still hate them but#it was nice to know the difference between the edge stitches and the main pattern repeat
