💎 or 🌄 or both
Oh boy these are gonna be difficult.
💎 show you wish people talked about more
Ghost Host, Ghost House. I think a good number of people watched it and liked it but I wish even more people would watch it and also talk about it. This show dealt with grief in quite literally the perfect way for me and was airing right around the time I lost someone special to me so it was healing in a way. I think the story is so beautifully told.
🌄 your favorite scene of any BL show
One scene? One SCENE? From ANY show? There are so many good ones? But I'm going to choose something from not a BL. This scene from Oh No! Here Comes Trouble:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
First of all, someone hug that boy. Second of all, this is one of the few scenes that has ever managed to make me cry. And I cry every time I watch it. It felt like Yiyong was speaking to me about dealing with my own trauma and guilt (good god I'm tearing up just thinking about this scene) and Yiyong definitely has wisdom beyond his years. Plus there is something in the way that he carries his trauma that feels familiar to me. He is grumpy all of the time, but he is the kindest soul. He had something so incredibly horrendous happen to him and all it did was make him kind. This is what empathy is. This is what it means to listen. This is what it means to be human. And Yiyong is in pain but uses that to help. Always to help. And I love him so much for it. Anyway...does anyone have chocolate for me now? I need it.

I've seen people remark on how awkward the 1967 scene is and that is so frustrating because, for me, it is one of the most emotionally resonant flashbacks in the entire series. It is so multifaceted and ripe with implication and that assertion is baffling. As though just because this conversation appears to be hard for them, it must mean that there has to be some sense of weirdness or awkwardness between them?
This scene feeds heavily into my theory that 1941 ended in some sort of aborted romantic moment between the two, most likely initiated by Crowley. Aziraphale can barely stand to look at Crowley because the very first moment he looks him in the face, he can't stop himself from giving him this hooded eyes, barely contained look of longing.
Tumblr media
The next thing we see is Aziraphale immediately launching into a statement about his fear for Crowley's existence that is as brutally sincere as it is heartrending. His eyes are wide, his voice is heavy with emotion, and it's clear that he is terrified beyond belief to lose Crowley. Even as he acquiesces and gives him the holy water, you can see that he wants to take it back and deny him it all over again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then, of course, Crowley asks if he can give him a lift, which is definitely something that they both know is a totally different question than what lies on the surface, given that they're mere feet from the bookshop and at first Crowley frowns so deeply that it's almost cartoonish but a moment after Aziraphale turns him down you get this glimpse of very real sadness:
Tumblr media
Aziraphale sees it for what it is and in an attempt to comfort him, without being able to do what currently seems impossible to him, shares a fanciful but resigned fantasy about spending time together unbothered and unrestrained, all to the tune of these tight little, loving smiles:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When he asks again, you can just see Crowley's desperation for Aziraphale not to go. It's hard to say how long they'd been apart, but it's safe to say that for them, that previous interaction likely is very fresh in their minds.
Tumblr media
Aziraphale has always been more fearful than Crowley when it comes to their feelings for each other. You could even potentially look at the holy water as a metaphor for their relationship. In his expressions of concern about The Arrangement, Aziraphale has always been remarking on how Crowley could be destroyed, similarly to his words here. So when he's telling him, "You go too fast for me, Crowley," what he's really saying is, "I'm terribly afraid and I'm not ready to take that step if it means that I could lose you." And it's plain to see by the wistful look on his face that it pains him greatly to say it:
Tumblr media
The scene so quickly cuts to Crowley looking intensely at the holy water after Aziraphale has left the car (as if trying to convince you that that was the real point of the scene) that it's easy to miss this devastated expression on Crowley's face:
Tumblr media
There's no look of perceived rejection on his face. Just a somber look of resignation. There are so many barriers in front of them, and I think that Crowley was willing to risk it but understood that Aziraphale wasn't ready to.
This is the most honest and laid bare we ever see these two be when it comes to their emotions. There's so much being said without being said and even their actual words (i.e. Crowley remembering exactly the amount of time when the 'fraternizing' conversation happened) are so full of emotion that it might even be a bit hard for some people to watch.
It's not awkward. It's just that the scene is just so incredibly earnest and heavy with coded language that it's easy to be swept up by the fact that the two aren't engaged in their typical banter and bickering. What we truly have here is an incredibly difficult and loving conversation between two people who are stuck in a seemingly impossible situation.

RED & BLU Spyper Headcanons
Oh boy this is a long one
RED
can create multiple holograms of himself that he can control individually (kinda like Kali from Stranger Things, but only holograms of himself)
avid freak hunter, started off as having to defend himself but then took it up as a job
has multiple scars on his face and body from fighting other freaks all the time. he patches the holes in his clothes himself
uses a double bladed staff, its great for crowd control and he likes the distance between him and his enemies, but he does keep a few extra knives on him just in case
has a dead ringer and will absolutely use it in a fight. faking your death can be useful once they get you
mute (not really a headcanon since minifett confirmed it to me on steam)
knows sign language but doesn't use it often
ace/aro
dominant spy personality, represses sniper personality. the switches bothered him. he got tired of the weird stares on missions. we've seen how other freaks react to blu spyper. (nnngh sniper calls him a “spy head mutant.”) obviously everyone in this world is weird in some way but headswaps aren't seen all that often
uses spy's default revolver, its small enough for him to carry around and not as loud as a sniper rifle
doesn't drink alcohol because he tries to keep his mind stable. he’s almost always working and doesn't like to be distracted
can shoot equally accurate with both hands
likes birds (he secretly wishes he could fly)
doesn't trust people easily, anyone can turn on him and he will not take that chance
decent hacker, breaking into buildings or tech facilities undetected is a lot easier if you know how to disable the security system and shut down bots
likes to draw, it keeps his mind clear. he started off as doodles in his free time
BLU
keeps a deck of cards in the pouch on his hip, he gets bored on his own in the van and solitaire keeps him busy (plus intelligent heavy likes to play Go Fish)
keeps his van clean, most of his life is chaotic so he likes to be able to come “home” to something tidy and well kept
has a cat bed in the van for his pet headcrab, Goggles, because it’s claws kept tearing up the seats (intelligent heavy made it for him)
has 4 watches (stock invis watch, enthusiasts timepiece, quäckenbirdt, and cloak and dagger)
still has body dysmorphia from having his head yanked off his old body and screwed onto another, but he cant remember being a normal spy
neither personality is really dominant though spy is default, he’s ok with the switches and doesn't try to hold them back
pan/demi/ace
doesn't let anyone besides intelligent heavy drive the van because he only taught IH how to drive it. i mean, who knows how to drive a flying van
has bad handwriting
prefers a sniper rifle over spy's revolver
mixed handed/cross dominance (writes lefty, shoots righty)
can't cook. he doesn't get the chance to practice when he’s almost always on the road, but intelligent heavy brings him home cooked meals sometimes
terrible with computers, he’s not always around technology and prefers to be outside in the “fresh air”, but he does have super long distance (upgraded with austrailium) walkie talkies to talk to a certain heavy freak
trained Goggles to stay near the van and lets it out when they park, usually calls him back with a whistle when they’re ready to leave
uber touch starved, he melts whenever intelligent heavy hugs or puts his arm around him. blu will usually keep close to IH or lean on him whenever they’re together, it helps him feel more in touch with himself.
BOTH
neither drink anything with caffeine because it makes the personality switches more erratic
both are very agile, though red is a bit faster and blu relies on teleportation
both can speak French, even though they cant remember their spy lives, the language remains
both are excellent navigators, their sense of direction is incredible
both are 6'1"
Feel free to tell me your own ideas, or let me know what you think of mine!

Okay so Fire Emblem anon here!! Here's a Kinda Super Long Bc I Got Carried Away description of a few Fire Emblem games, plus some characters that seem like they hit tropes you like!
The good news is that there's not a super huge overarching timeline, there's several smaller timelines that are seperate from one another except for the crossover games. I'm gonna go with describing the newer ones that you're most likely to be able to get your hands on and play; a lot of people complain that they lean into some anime-tropey stuff and are too easy, but tbh, that's a perk just as often as it isn't. Basically, it's Game of Thrones, but rated T and with more cute girls and old men who are friendly instead of creepy.
Tbh, it's a turn-based strategy game with visual novel elements for characterization, if strategy games aren't your thing and you're just interested in the characters, watching the support conversations on Youtube might be more your thing. All the characterization, none of the resetting the same goshdang level thirty times. Anyways, description of the games in passing, including a brief description of the plot concept, pros and cons, trigger warnings, and some characters you might be interested in if you're just looking up characters.
*line break for legibility*
Awakening: for the 3DS. Follows Robin, an amnesiac mage, after they're found in a field by a band of knights called the Shepherds. Involves the undead, a twink in a mask, timey-wimey shenangians, and the usual cast of oddballs you'd expect from a Fire Emblem game.
Pros of Awakening: customizable player character, intro of Casual mode (turns off permadeath) and the Pair Up system, which lets you put characters together for shipping reasons strategy and stat boosts. Also doubles as a shipping simulator, since you can pair off characters and meet their later in the game due to said timey-wimey shenangians.
Cons of Awakening: there are some....very concerning combos of names/skin tones/plot relevance for certain characters, so go in with a warning about implicit racism. Also if you like strategy games, this game is relatively easy to break and make "too easy," but tbh that's what Lunatic Mode (the Ultra Unfair Hard Mode) is for.
Trigger warnings across the main plot: underhanded politics, attempted assassinations, martyrdom, an optional character is implied to stalk Robin but idk how to tag that, identity crises, conflicts within a family, character who isn't you looks like you, backstory child abuse, an optional character is a bad portrayal of DID if you squint?
*line break for legibility*
Fates: is actually a group name for two games set in the same universe, and a DLC bonus story: Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations. All for the 3DS. All three games star Corrin, a pacifist raised in seclusion in the kingdom of Nohr. Each game reflects a different path Corrin can take in navigating the war between the nations of Nohr and Hoshido: Birthright has them stand with Hoshido, Conquest with Nohr, and Revelations has them strike out (nearly) alone. Each path has a completely different storyline, cast of characters, and difficulty curve.
Pros of Fates: honestly, the characters here cater the most to the avid pro-shipper and multi-shipper. I just love this cast. Both Nohr and Hoshido have four members of the royal family you can play and get to know, each of those royal family members has two retainers who are various levels of dedicated and/or unhinged, and the cast just widens and widens. Also a character customization and shipping simulator point for the same reasons Awakening gets it. Also, canon fujoshi rights (there's a character with a skill called Daydream, which boosts her stats when two male characters are paired up near her. one of us, one of us). Also the first game with canon queer characters: both Rhajat and Niles are bi.
Cons of Fates: unfortunately, the writing is kinda rushed or badly translated in some places. Also *shakes IntSys* my lore! Give me more lore! Also, iirc, you could get both physical games in a bundle for a discount when they came out, but not anymore, so it's sorta like Pokemon with version exclusives. Which is less fun, since you can't directly trade characters. Also the fandom for this game is RIFE with discourse, which is kinda sad bc I just wanna talk my ships with ppl sjxhdjdn
Trigger warnings for Fates: child abuse might as well be Nohr's middle name, in-universe racism (since Hoshido is p obviously Japan-inspired, and a lot of Nohrians are rancid to Hoshidans), kidnapping, on-screen murder, lots of fighting your loved ones (on both main routes, you gotta fight the playable characters from the other side AAA), su-c-de, death of sibling(s) in certain routes, demonic-like possession, there's like six characters people can read as bad mental illness rep, Niles especially is discourse bait for being a kinky (yes that's canon) bi man of color but also he's awesome so die mad antis
*break for space*
Shadows of Valentia: for the 3DS. A remake of Gaiden, the second game in the series. Follows Alm, a farm boy from a small village in Zofia, and Celica, his childhood best friend. Zofia and the nation to its north, Rigel, are two nations ruled by the dragon gods Mila and Duma, respectively. Normally, they're in equilibrium, but Rigel is invading and Mila is missing, prompting Alm and Celica to independently investigate the problem.
Pros of SoV: the most like the old-school Fire Emblem games, but it also has the permadeath-off mode. also the first to be fully voice acted! The art style is gorgeous, and the plot was polished up from the old game--two characters names Berkut and Rinea were added, and they are PEAK OTP the diskhorse can die mad. Also the cast is pretty fun all around, from buddy squad and the older brother/dad figure they adopted along the way to "hello this is my gang of childhood friends, we're gonna kill a god" Also introduces Mila's Turnwheel, which lets you rewind your moves if you realize you goofed big time and screwed yourself over.
Cons of SoV: has the most references to other games, but you won't, like, be lost if you don't get them. You just might have a few interludes of "who tf is Camus/the White Wing Brigade/etc" but it's easy enough to look up on the wiki. Also tbh, the plot kinda drags in the middle, there's some filler battles to try and make it feel more realistic and it feels...weird. Also no custom character, you are Alm and Celica and you will Like It.
Trigger warnings for SoV: you know that thing where a girl character gets killed off for a guy character to angst over? the game starts with a fakeout version of that. also a character slowly goes mad over the course of the plot (but it's really well done imo?), there's some self-sacrifice stuff in there, classism is a major theme, possession/selling your soul™, there's a couple of levels where you're exploring tombs/prisons, I'm sure there's something else but I'm forgetting right now
*line break for legibility*
Three Houses: on the Switch. The newest game in the series, and the most polished imo? Stars Byleth, a wandering mercenary turned teacher at the Officer's Academy. The Academy, housed in Garreg Mach Monastery, teaches youths from across the land of Fodlan how to be warriors, commanders, and knights. Students are sorted into three houses based on their country of origin: the Black Eagles are from ghe Adrestian Empire, led by the heiress-apparent Edelgard; the Blue Lions are from the kingdom of Faerghus, led by prince Dimitri; and the Golden Deer are from the Leicester Alliance, led by Claude, grandson of the Duke. You choose one of these houses to lead, and then everything quickly goes sour.
Pros of Three Houses: It's such a rich experience! The music is incredible, there's so much lore, and you can wander around the Monastery and hang out with the students to your heart's content. Also, it's four storylines for the price of one, even if they're all relatively similar in the first half. It does a pretty solid job of weaving together its themes into a satisfying narrative that will make you consider everyone involved. Also we got our first bi main lord (Edelgard) and non-white main lord (Claude is mixed race) in one fell swoop! Also, given the setting, it's teacher/student ship heaven.
Cons of Three Houses: just gonna come right out and say it: one of the villainous factions in the game is pretty substantially tied up with some anti-semitic tropes. There's no way to ignore it, it's just bleh, and I'm not gonna send anyone in without that warning. Also, though there's some characters you can persuade to switch sides, or spare, there's no route where there's a happy ending for everyone. Also there are so many people who are fake deep about the themes of the game, so be ready for the worst takes imaginable about your faves. also super trigger heavy, see below.
Trigger warnings: MANY. Garreg Mach and the Church of Seiros are very reminiscent of catholic religious stuff, for anyone with religion triggers, blood in cutscenes, death of a parent, death of a sibling (different characters), major gaslighting vibes in some places, lots of people going unhinged, some white savior™ vibes in places, body horror, creepy ass weaponry, backstory genoc-de (mostly not related to the anti-semitism), blood magic (definitely related to the anti-semitism), in general it goes to a lot more effort than the other games to make you think about what's Actually going on, even if it doesn't always work.
*break for legibility*
As for characters you'd like, if you just want to look some characters up, my recommendations based on what I understand about you include:
Awakening: Libra fits 'gnc man of the cloth' so well it's actually a conversation in game: "so what's a woman of the cloth doing here?" "...man, sir, man of the cloth." And Then He Never Gets Misgendered Again. Also Nowi's supports sometimes feel like a jab at antis-- she's a manakete, a person who can transform into a dragon. Manaketes also grow really slowly, as in "middle aged looking manaketes are like 1000 years old," so she's got major baby face and copes with being mistaken for a teenager by making jokes. Also Gregor, who she first appears with, is pretty fun--older mercenary with a thick accent who is like 80% here for a good time. Also Walhart, who's a villain but got some content added as DLC.
Fates: any interactions between Corrin, Leo, and/or Camilla are probably right up your alley--Camilla is obsessively protective over her siblings in a way that's Very Definitely Platonic™, and Leo also canonically has a crush on her in something that was cut in the English release. Also Gunther--once upon a time he was your classic knight in shining armor, now he's semi-retired, Corrin's personal guard, and covered in scars (and his voice is gorgeous too)
Echoes: my biased answer is to listen to every single line Ian Sinclair read for Berkut because he absolutely did NOT have to go that hard. My actual answer is to point you in the direction of the pegasus sisters Catria, Palla and Est, or maybe the older gentleman who's the head of the Priory, I forgot his name oops abbdbd. Also Clive is a devoted husband to one Mathilda, who looks just like an older version of his sister Clair 🤔
Three Houses: knowing you, you'd adore Hanneman--an older professor who's extremely passionate about his work, to the point where he tends to forget personal space and such. Also Seteth, like I mentioned before (join me in simping for him and his gorgeous pecs) and like, honestly, I know ppl make jokes about Alois but he's rlly good. Soft, awkward but he doesn't care, dad jokes everywhere. And also Mercedes, both because she's the biggest sweetheart imaginable and everyone should love her, but also bc she is just walking potential for the kinds of stuff you post on this blog. On one hand, she's the oldest student at the Academy and attached at the hip to one of the youngest, Annette (tho people act like they have a way bigger age gap then they actually do) and on the other hand, she has a long-lost half brother she can encounter (who I will not name for HUGE HUGE spoilers reasons) who she spends the rest of her life with in one of her endings. Heck, he has three possible endings total! Total!
Basically I brought the games up bc I'm used to being on the side of the fandom where everyone shoos anything uncomfortable under the rug, but there's so much material here that's being wasted I SWEAR
If you have any other questions I can send another anon? Your call! Thanks for hearing me out I love ur blog :3
OKAY!!! sorry for answering so late, but this ask was pretty much a BOOK (not that I´m complaining though! thank you so much! ;;u;;)
and from what I read here, I THINK if I´m going off on my first fire emblem adventure, I´ll try and pick up three houses if I get the chance! I have read your trigger warnings (thank you so much! ;u;) and I think I can take it! >:3
again though, I am really, really not a fan of anime and the anime artstyle in general (blergh! XP) so I´m not sure how I´ll cope with that in particular, but then again, an artstyle does not make a game! u3u
AND HANNEMAN SOUNDS LIKE A WINNER TO ME!! I looked him up and OOOF!!! he may not have NEARLY as many wrinkles as I´d like him to have, but the facial hair is definitely a step in the right direction! ;3c
NOW YOU GOT ME INTERESTED!!
LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Alright, here's the story prompt I've got for you to work with: We've got a Jakoby always getting dinged up on the job, so he's gotta come home and get cleaned up by his worrisome, poor partner that just can't help but but express the concern with endless kisses, hugs, and touches. But you know, one night, the soft touches just aren't enough to express all that pent up love ya need to get out, ya know? Yeah that's right, some smut! Breeding kink, and perhaps some of that good overstimulation
My first request! This was so much fun– I loved “Bright”, and Nick Jakoby is the most precious character in it! I’m all for showing this Orc the love he deserves. Extremely NSFW. Enjoy!“To Protect and Service”
You knew he washome when you heard the door click open and a heavy thud of his uniform baghitting the floor.
“Shit.”
The muttered growlmade your lips twitch in a smile as you rubbed your face into the pillow, as ifgetting the last of his old scent before his new one would soon fill the bed.It was all that you had most nights, especially now with his new shift hours. Itseemed rare that you both were on the same schedule, what with you working daysand him often working straight into the early morning hours. It was onlymidnight now, but you hadn’t been able to sleep.
Yes, he was a cop,and it was a career that was dangerous even for an Orc, and you couldn’t helpbut worry.
But you’d nevertell him to quit.
A break occasionally, though, wouldn’t killhim…
You pretended tobe asleep, your back to the door, when you heard him attempt (unsuccessfully)to make his way quietly down the hall to where your bedroom was.
Poor guy didn’thave a stealthy bone in his body.
You heard himcreak the door open, pausing if he thought it’d wake you up, and then trudge inas sneakily as he could before he made it to the closet.
When you knew hewasn’t looking, you slowly peered over your shoulder, watching him undress ashe sluggishly slipped off his civilian shirt, the muscles defining his broadback prominent even in the dimness of the room.
Feeling a tingleof heat hit the center of your core, you were reminded of your own sleepwear, which was just a plain white shirt. One of his. They were the perfect fit foryour frame, which was almost tiny in comparison, the fabric just barelyclipping the edge of your knees when you stood. It was too warm for regularsleepwear in the summer, and therefore you didn’t have pants, either.
It wasn’t as if heminded. He commented once in a while (in his own words) how it was sexy to seeyou wear his clothes. Wearing his scent. It made him proud in the most Orkishway.
There was a slighttwinge to his movements as he looked down to unbuckle his pants, and yourogling paused as you felt your stomach sink.
“Nick?”
He paused andlooked over his shoulder to spot you. Even in the dark, you could see hisyellow eyes, tired and darting away guiltily. “Oh. Sorry to wake you, sweetie.”
“I wasn’t asleep,”you answered, sitting up.
He gave a grunt ashe walked over, sitting down heavily on the edge of the bed to try and pry hisshoes off.
“You’re hurt.”Even with your limited senses as a human, there was no mistaking the scent ofblood wafting from his chin. As you leaned in, a hand grazing over theprominent cut that started at his jawline and etched down near his throat, youfrowned. Even with his mottled skin, you noticed darker variations lining hisface. Bruises.
His eyes caughtyour frown and he looked away to let you keep inspecting. “Just a human with adagger we caught tryin’ to steal from a store. Jacked up on some fairy dust, madehim kinda feral. It’s nothin’ to worry about,” he rumbled.
“I’ll be the judgeof that.”
Compared to whathe’s been through on other nights, this was just a mild inconvenience to anOrc. To you? It was always unacceptable. After a minute longer of inspecting, youpressed a hand to his shoulder carefully, pushing it slightly to make him standup again. You hated to move him after he just sat down, but those wounds neededto be taken care of.
“Come on,” youcoaxed. He sighed and bit back a wince from standing. “I’ll take care of that.”
“It’s notnecessary—”
You pressed a kissto his ear to shut him up.
“There’s morewhere that came from if you keep talking back to me, Officer.”
He ducked his headand you knew there was a smile on his face as he followed you to the bathroom.“Nicest threat I’ve had all night.”
Lavender filledthe room from the scented oil perpetually heated in the bathroom. Nick’s, notyours. It was calming, he said, his favorite smell—besides you, of course, which he would then frantically try to backtrack because he assumed that theway he said it was offensive because it had implied that you had a prominentscent and humans didn’t really have a badsmell to them, although some did— “but, but not you, no, never you”.
He sat on the edgeof the tub as you cleaned his face, taking care to work delicately around thecut on his throat with the alcohol swab. The tiny nubs of his filed tusksflinched slightly as he tightened his lip to hide a grunt.
“You don’t have totough it out, you know,” you reminded him as you wiped off the dried blood,“That cut’s a couple of inches deep. I could stick my finger down it if Iwanted.”
He looked at youas if you were seriously considering it. “Please don’t,” he managed out.
The chuckle thatescaped you couldn’t be helped.
“I would never.”
Nick wouldn’tbother to go to the hospital without probable cause, and he didn’t considersomething like this worth the time to treat—so a bandage would have to do. Evennow, with the blood cleaned away from the wound, you could tell it was slowlyworking back together. He was so resilient; it was truly incredible.
“What?”
You drew your gazeaway from his throat back up to his face, which looked puzzled. The dope didn’trealize how much you loved him, and it hurt to know this despite how you hadbeen married for almost two years now.
“You have somethingon your face.”
“On my face? Well, yeah. Um, maybe some bruises, a cut I know for sure—”
“More like alook.”
“A look?” Helooked even more confused, if it was possible. “What-What-What’s the look?”
You smiled. “An‘Orc who needs a lot more conjugal love’ type face.”
His ears twitched, eyes widening as his confusion gave away to realization, and his nostrilsflared as he wafted through the haze of lavender and rubbing alcohol tosuddenly smell your own scent, sweet and growing with a very intentional muskof arousal. Spicy. Warm. Wanting. Those were some very clear pheromones you hadbeen creeping out, and he was an idiot for not noticing sooner.
“Oh,” was all hesaid.
“Careful with thedirty talk, Romeo,” you teased and gently pressed a kiss to his rough lips, which pressed back eagerly. You pulled away and placed a hand on his cheek todraw his attention back. “But seriously, if you’re too tired, we don’t haveto—"
“No, no!” Nick wasquick to respond, his thick fingers pressed down on your hand to keep them onhis face, to enjoy the warmth from your soft skin, “I’m not too tired, absolutelynot.”
“Good.” Yourthighs clenched together as the heat began to grow between your legs, encouraged by his enthusiasm. He deserved to have a night where it all focusedon him. “You won’t have to worry. I’ll be doing all the work anyway.”
You were straddlinghis powerful, trembling form, his pants off, his thick cock hard and waitingimpatiently between you both, and you, being the world’s biggest tease, werestill wearing his shirt. Your panties dangled on your finger as you let themdrop to the floor, covered in your slick dampness. By the way his chest roseand fell, and his teeth were bared in hunger as he fought his dwindlingself-control, it was obvious he could smell just how wet and ready you were forhim.
He was on his back;told to stay and let you do all the work.
It was against hisgood-guy nature, his romantic side telling him to lay you down and worship youbecause he never understood how someone as perfect and beautiful as you wouldever want to waste your time with someone like him—and after a few well-placedbites on the tips of his ears and his neck (minding the wound), he quicklyrelented.
As far as you wereconcerned, tonight was all about Nick Jakoby.
You grinned as yougave him what he wanted, shirt bunched up in your hands as you slipped it overyour head, baring your naked body to his eyes. Yep, no bra. The look on hisface was worth it every time.
Leaning over, deftlyavoiding his desperate length, you kissed him deeply, letting him wrap his strongarms around you as he held you close.
Although he waslying down, his tongue was certainly dominant, filling your mouth and twistingalongside yours in the heat of the moment. It was longer than a human’s, slightlyrougher, and hotter. You sucked on it lightly to make him groan, parting with awet noise to bite at his lower lip with your teeth, then drawing it back in tocontinue kissing.
All the while, your legs were adjusting as you scooted up, settling around his hips, a handreaching down to suddenly grasp his throbbing cock.
He broke the kisswith a startled gasp, head falling into the pillows as he whined. “Fu-u-uck…”
With a chuckle, you stood back up, pumping him a few times before you lined him up with your eagerpussy, watching his mouth drop open in pleasure as you slid down slowly andtook him into yourself.
It always took aminute to get used to that girth. Orcs and humans were different in many ways, and that part was no exception.
His thick hands scrambledat the sheets for a moment before they rested their rightful place on your hips, tightening his grip as you began to bounce. He forced his eyes open to watchyou, staring up at you through the pleasure as if you were some angel that haddescended from the heavens right on top of his dick.
Warmth filling youfrom his cock and his look, you ran your hands across the ones gripping yourhips affectionately before they slid forward and pressed onto his chest, allowing more leverage as you pumped yourself harder on him.
He was hitting all the right spots, your moans fillingthe room shamelessly. And according to his muffled curses and groans, you werehitting all his right spots, too.
“That good, honey?”you panted out playfully.
“Oh, gods, yes,” he moaned.
“How good?”
“So… So, so, sogood,” he gritted out. A raspy bark of Orkish slipped through his wordsmomentarily, and your body trembled as you understood it through your nightswith Nick before. Hot. Tight. Fill youup.
That encouragedyou, and you spread your thighs wider to slip him all the way down to the basedespite the burn, a gasp punched out of you and him. Your arms lifted from hischest to reach back and grip the mattress behind you, nails digging in at the obscenesquelch as your body tried to contain the thickness, harder slaps filling theroom from your bodies colliding.
“F-Fuck… Yes… Oh…Fill m-me… Put a baby in me, Nick,” you begged as you rode him. “Fill me up,please, breed me.”
You both knew thatit was just talk, a fantasy, that an Orc and a human couldn’t actually producea child, that you were on birth control just in case because this was a magicalrealm where nothing was impossible, and he wasn’t ready to bring a life intothis world.
But damn if it didn’tbring out the Orc in him.
His head dug backinto the pillows, the growl that escaped his throat almost stilling you fromthe fierceness behind it. There was an alpha in the room now, and he had justbeen playing along with you taking charge.
Nick’s eyes slidopen, the orange-yellow glow shining like demon fire in the darkness.
“Breeding-slut! I’ll fill you up until youburst,” he commanded outin Orkish.
Your pussy clenchedhard and he growled at your wide-eyed stare, the scent only confirming that youloved being talked to like this.
His grip bruisedyour hips as he suddenly lifted you off like you were nothing, Orc strength be blessed– and began to jackhammer up into you with enough force to bounce you like a fleshlight.
The reaction wasimmediate. Your gasp so sweet. “Oh, fuck,Nick–!” you gasped out, going limp for a moment.
The rumble in hischest grew at your submission, although he was much more focused on the hot, gripping slickness of your pussy around his cock. He knew you wouldn’t fightback. This night was all for him, wasn’t it? You knew how to take care of himlike a real mate to an Orc. Let him take what he wants. Earn it.
He earned you.
The heatsurrounding you, the hard and deep thrusts that shook you to your core, thepossessive growls that echoed in your ears… It was so much to take in.
Your half-liddedeyes fluttered open and looked down at the beastly, beautiful mate that heldyou in his grip. Pounding all the sense from your mind.
Would soon fillyou up until you, for all intents and purposes, could very much be bred like areal Orc-bitch.
Your climax hitsuddenly, fiercely, your choked cry dying in the air as you stiffened andgripped him like your body was afraid he would slip out.
His cock still wasrock-hard inside of you, his thrusts slowing just for the moment to relish thesqueezing and the new wetness that encased him. He showed mercy until your bodyrelaxed through the pulses, and he was back to work again.
Your body joltedat the new thrusts, gasps escaping your throat as your voice rose in volume.
Oh, it felt so GOOD!
“N-Nick, no, ahhhnnn… ! Mmm-no! Can’t…again… !” you pleaded out, although you knew that if you really wanted him to stop, he would. The factthat he knew to keep going only made you squirm harder against him. You couldn’tremember anything except his name, your fingers digging uselessly into hischest as you fought against his grip, the rawness inside only sparking anincredibly delicious pain that grew with each hard thrust. “Nick—Nick, fuck, f-fuck,oh… oh, fuck! FUCK! Nick—NICK!”
Somehow, you cameagain, feeling your climax gush through and coat his cock, slicken your thighs, collect underneath into the sheets.
The scent of yoursecond round of pleasure filled his nose, made his teeth grit and he slammedyou down a final time, feeling his cock pulse wetly inside of you, his thickload filling you past capacity, trickles of hot seed slipping out as hecontinued to throb. His hand shakily rested on your stomach, a pleasednoise escaping him as he felt the slight swell with each shot of his load.
You were deadweight by the time you slid off him, the ache filling you making you hum as youimmediately snuggled into his side. His arm wrapped around you automatically. Theslight graze of his tusk poked you as he pressed a kiss to your cheek.
He breathed outfor a moment.
“… That was good,right? For… For you?”
Your body shookfor a moment, startling him, and then your laughter reached his ears seconds later. He watched as you used the last of your strength to reach up and draw his headdown for a deep kiss that let him know that he did nothing short of fucking youinto blissful oblivion.
“You’reincredible, Nick.”
His chest swelledwith pride at satisfying his mate, his heart warmed by how lucky he was to bewith you.
“Not nearly asincredible as you are, sweetie.”

Alex Final Wars 2: Dark Alex, Chapter 19 - The Second Battle of Zootopia
After a long hiatus, Alex Final Wars is back! Why was it gone for so long? I was waiting for some awesome chapter artwork from Starwishermidnight! (https://www.deviantart.com/starwishermidnight)
Tumblr media
Pretty cool huh?! I hope everyone enjoys that picture, and enjoys this action packed chapter! Lets jump into the fray with Heroes!
00000000000
The city of Zootopia occupied a key location on the US west coast, and it would certainly be a prime target for any force seeking to deal damage against the country. It was no wonder then that the Chinese had devoted a large number of mammalpower and resources to the city's capture. Although the city had the ZIA and ZPD for defense, it still relied on the US military.
Enroute back to Zootopia, the team had prepared to forcibly evict the Chinese out of the city. This was an all-paws-on-deck mission. Everyone had been given a combat role and an operational area that they would work in. Even Haida and Retsuko has been tasked with providing combat support over the radio. While they were glad to finally be doing more, the state of Zootopia still had the pair worried. Fabienne was also joining a Heroes team heading towards ZNN, where she would help some of her colleagues evacuate. She had been surprisingly calm, probably because she was an experienced reporter and had been in her fair share of war zones. The Typhoon was alive with activity as warriors frantically raced around the ship, preparing for battle.
There were sightings of Kion's Dark counterpart, but his location was unknown. US marines were already on site, defending the city. Multiple Heroes teams would join the US forces in a counteroffensive to push the enemy back.
Chinese ships occupied the bay, while fires burned all over the city, creating massive plumes of smoke. Chinese jets streaked across the skies, strafing machine-gun fire on any target they saw.
The Typhoon set down in a US controlled area, as everyone prepared to enter the fray.
"We've failed." Jack said, gathering up his gear. His ears were droopy and he was not preparing himself with the same determined spirit that he'd had in other missions. "Our job as ZIA agents was to keep Zootopia safe, and now the Chinese are attacking the city. We've failed at our foremost objective."
Skye nodded, and her face gave away the fact that she was also feeling the same burden of guilt that Jack felt.
"Don't say that." Toothdee said. "It's not your fault. You did all you could."
"There's no way you could have known this was gonna happen. Blame the people attacking the city, don't blame yourself." Nick said, putting his paw on his friend's shoulder.
"But now that we're here, we can make a difference." Judy said, maintaining the steadfast determination that she had since childhood.
A determined look came across Skye's face as she realized her allies were correct. The best way for her to serve Zootopia now, was stopping the Chinese invasion. "Your right, let's do this." The arctic fox clicked the safety off on her rifle.
After gathering up gear, weapons, and ammo, the heroes assembled in the hangar bay where vehicles had been prepared and fueled. Capitan Boehm cleared his throat and tried to rouse everyone's spirits, even though he was nervous. Dialogue was not his forte, but his friends could use a rousing speech, so he would at least try.
"Zootopia needs our help!"
There were whoops and yells from the warriors in the room. Each of them was eager to get out in the fray and give the Chinese a firm kick in the pants.
"We are incredible warriors, we can do this! We can beat them back!"
There was another round of cheers and the excitement in the room was palpable.
"Are you ready to get out there in the fray?!"
Everyone let out a battle cry and raised a fist or a weapon.
"Heroes, form up!"
Each individual team hopped in a truck or Jeep, and Alex opened the doors to the Typhoon's garage, letting the teams race out, going past US soldiers and heading to their predetermined areas.
Nick and Judy headed to ZPD HQ, while Skye and Jack made haste to the ZIA HQ.
Alex, Kion, and Jasiri were in a Humvee; driving to meet hostile forces head on. As Alex maneuvered the vehicle through abandoned cars and rubble, they passed by some civilians trying to get to safety. The captain went as fast as he could, swerving through the streets, narrowly avoiding obstacles.
"Whoa! Careful dude!" Kion said, holding onto his seat and watching a downed lamppost narrowly miss the vehicle. "Your gonna kill us before we can even get to the Chinese!"
"What? Do you want to drive?"
"Ugh, just don't send us careening off a cliff." Kion begrudgingly said.
"You know, between you and me, that speech went a lot better than I expected."
"You did great, I've never seen a group of people so eager to enter into combat."
"I am not good with words; it took me a moment to work up my courage."
"Ha! Bullets aren't a problem, but words are?" Kion laughed.
"You keep that to yourself." Alex jested.
The team reached a US tank on a main road, along with a group of US Marines that were taking cover behind concrete debris. A squad of Chinese soldiers was engaging the Marines and pinning them down, while the tank tried its best to beat the enemy back.
Hopping out of the Humvee, the team engaged the Chinese, downing a few before being noticed.
"Heroes?!" A US Marine yelled, clearly surprised.
Kion cut down 2 Chinese soldiers, while Jasiri gunned down 2 more with her pistols. The last few soldiers fell back, and disappeared from view behind a large pile of rubble that was blocking the road.
"We weren't expecting elite forces." One of the Marines said.
"What's the situation?" Captain Boehm said, wanting to get a grip on things and chase the Chinese out of the city.
"We're getting ready to push back, but the Chinese are still hitting us hard."
Suddenly a rocket streaked down from one of the nearby buildings and hit the US tank that was nearby. The vehicle exploded in a ball of fire, killing the crew inside.
"Take cover!" Kion said, prompting Heroes and the Marines to hide in a small shop off to the side of the road.
"Alright, you stay here and push forward with the other US forces once they arrive." Alex said to the Marines as he checked his ammo. "We'll act as the tip of the spear and make things easier for the main force."
"Roger that, good luck sir." A Marine said.
This was the job of Heroes. As elite forces, it was their duty to help their allies however best they could. The team headed into the back of the shop, and found a door with a staircase behind it. They began to make their way up, heading towards the location where the Chinese rocket had come from.
It was difficult to find a route through the tight and dark corridors of the building, but eventually the team reached another door, and they heard a foreign language on the other side.
The captain smiled and chuckled a bit. He loved it when a situation presented itself that allowed him or his allies get the drop on an enemy. Alex counted down. "3... 2... 1... Go!"
The trio burst through the door and immediately engaged the group of Chinese soldiers in the room. The rocket trooper that destroyed the tank was quickly gunned down in a hail of bullets, along with all the other hostiles. One soldier had been thrown back onto the floor when the opening door hit him, making him easy for Kion to dispatch with his blade.
"Hell yeah! That was awesome!" Alex said "Keep it up!"
Taking a look at their surroundings, the team picked another hallway and began to move down through it. In the close confines, Alex and Kion were cutting down many enemy soldiers with swords, while Jasiri kept laying down supporting fire with her pistols.
"We should get back to the street; those US soldiers need us." The hyena said, killing a bunch of hostile soldiers by performing a flourishing attack, in which she twirled and fired shots all around her, hitting anyone in the area.
"Agreed," Captain Boehm said, slicing a PLA trooper with his sword, and quickly followed up with 2 chi blasts to the heads of enemy troops.
"There's a stairwell over here!" Kion said, charging at a heavy weapons soldier and ramming his sword through his adversary.
Not wanting to leave the US soldiers on the street without friendly support, the group moved down the stairwell. They heard a commotion from the bottom of the building and looked down the center of the stairwell shaft. They saw a large group of enemy soldiers sprinting up the stairs from the bottom.
Kion took out a grenade and looked to his friends with a questioning expression. They instantly knew what he was thinking.
"We're gonna have to time this right." Jasiri said, as her and Alex took out grenades. The trio pulled the grenade pins and cooked them in their hands for a few seconds, before dropping them down the center of the stairwell.
Right as the grenades fell by the soldiers, they exploded, killing the Chinese troopers. The team were able to proceed down the stairs uninterrupted. They passed one trooper who, despite being critically wounded by the grenades, was still alive. The captain took pity and put him out of his misery, as he would have otherwise slowly died from his wounds. Even though the soldier was his enemy, Alex was still kind enough to show him mercy.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs, the team was finally able to get to the street. The sky was hazy with smoke, and the setting sun caused an orange tint across the entire city. Rubble was strewn about the entire area, and the sounds of combat filled the air.
"There!" Kion said, pointing towards a group of PLA soldiers. The team engaged the hostile forces, while some civilians nearby fled for their lives.
Alex noticed a young cheetah, probably only 5 or 6 years old, standing in the middle of the ruined street, looking around. She clutched a stuffed cheetah in her paws, and while she looked scared, she wasn't crying or screaming.
Overcome with fear and determination, Alex charged forward towards the lost cheetah, cutting in half a PLA soldier with his sword as he ran. Kion and Jasiri provided cover fire, presumably also having seen the young cheetah and feared for the girl's life.
Reaching the young girl, Alex quickly pulled her to safety as his allies kept them covered.
"I'm gonna get you out of here, sweetie." Alex said, trying to sound soft and caring. "Do you think you can run?"
"Y-yes." The young girl said as she quickly nodded, her eyes wide. Jasiri reloaded and gave Alex a nod of confirmation that they were ready to provide suppressing fire.
"Ok, you be brave for me." The captain and the cheetah sprinted out of cover, and managed to get into an alleyway where they bumped into a group of ZPD SWAT.
"This young girl lost her parents, she needs to be escorted out of here." Alex said to the team leader.
"On it, sir!" The officer responded before speaking into his radio.
"You were very brave today." Boehm said, crouching down to the girl's height, as well as taking out a ration bar, and giving it to her. "These fine mammals are gonna get you back to your parents. What's your name?"
"F-F-Fuli" the young girl said, trembling. "F-Fuli D-Duma."
The captain stood up and gestured to himself. "Alex Boehm." He said, before running off to assist his friends.
As more US Marines, ZPD officers, and ZIA agents entered the area, the trio of heroes continued battling the PLA soldiers. Alex and Jasiri gunned down any enemy soldier they laid eyes on, while Kion deflected incoming bullets with his sword. Though they were outnumbered by enemy soldiers, they showed no fear, as they knew the Chinese were clearly outmatched.
The last soldier fell to Jasiri's shots, and the hyena blew the gun smoke off the ends of her pistols, before triumphantly stating "They weren't expecting elite forces!"
A truck of enemy soldiers pulled up, but was obliterated by machine gun fire from an approaching US armored vehicle. A ZIA agent ran up to give a report to the Heroes team.
"The Chinese forward base is just ahead!" The agent reported. "Thats where the Chinese fleet is deploying forces and coordinating the assault."
"Then that's our target. Let's go kick them out of Zootopia!" Jasiri yelled, rallying friendly forces, before they moved forwards towards the Chinese base. The large group of infantry was accompanied by light and heavy armored vehicles, and a few aircraft in support.
Three PLA soldiers, using grenade launcher turrets, engaged the US force, causing the marines to run for cover.
"I'll get the right turret." Captain Boehm said.
"Jasiri, you get the middle one, I'll get the left one!" Kion said, charging forward with his head down.
Bullets whizzed over his head and struck the rubble he was taking cover behind. He had to roll and move as fast as he could to avoid being hit. The lion managed to reach the turret and stab the operator with his sword, before turning it on another hostile.
Jasiri and Alex also had similar luck with their targets, enabling their allies to continue pressing forward. This assault was going smoothly, and Heroes were easily pushing back the attacking force. They were driven by the singular desire to stop the assault on their glorious city.
A Chinese helicopter moved in and opened fire, forcing Jasiri and Alex to engage it with their firearms. Kion used one of the commandeered turrets to engage the aircraft. Bullets struck the canopy and engines, cracking the glass and soon caused smoke to pour from the engines. After sustaining enough damage, the aircraft fell back, having trouble controlling its movement.
The US force had now reached the Chinese base. Vehicles, soldiers, communications tech, and other equipment were set up throughout the area. Chinese landing hovercraft were assembled on the beach, and 2 amphibious assault ships floated in the bay nearby.
The Chinese soldiers began to take cover and open fire on the incoming enemies, with the PLA vehicles doing the same. Even the turrets on the hovercraft joined the engagement.
As Alex and the team pushed forward towards a communications center nearby, friendly rocket troopers fired at the enemy vehicles with explosives. A US tank also destroyed some of the turrets on the hovercraft.
The communications center was filled with large servers and small military laptops set up on tables. Wires ran along the floor, and cooling fans in the servers created a slight buzzing sound in the area.
"Pull any hard drives and data you can get; knowledge is power." Alex said, cutting down a Chinese soldier, "Any intel is useful. Once you get it, blast everything else into scrap."
Jasiri and Kion went to work, ripping out servers and transferring files from computers, while Alex kept them covered, shooting any enemy that tried to interfere with their operation.
After Heroes had all the data they needed, Jasiri blasted the communications equipment with her pistols. Kion moved to slice through a computer server with his sword, but Jasiri stopped him and recommended unplugging the device to avoid the fate of Dark Laval. After a few seconds the communications center had been reduced to smoldering equipment that could never be fixed.
Chinese vehicles were still active, and the team settled on those as their next targets, as they were the most dangerous. Kion knew he couldn't do much damage to vehicle armor with his sword, so he looked around in a Chinese weapon stash. A smug expression crossed the lion's face as he found a rocket launcher. He quickly turned it on a Chinese tank and turned the enemy vehicle into a flaming heap. Alex jumped onto an armored personnel carrier and managed to pry the top hatch open, before dropping in a grenade.
The Chinese attack helicopter returned and launched a volley of rockets, making Jasiri run for her life as explosions rocked the ground behind her.
"Jasiri!" Kion yelled, turning the rocket launcher on the aircraft, before firing and ripping through its armor. The vehicle spun out of control and crashed onto one of the hovercraft, destroying the still active turret.
"YEAH!" Kion gave a middle finger to the smoldering wreckage. He was very protective of his hyena.
Jasiri spotted a Chinese surface-to-air missile site and quickly alerted her teammates to its existence. After gunning and cutting down a few Chinese soldiers guarding the site, the team of heroes was able to get close, and place primed grenades onto the missile launcher. As the trio quickly got clear, the grenades exploded, destroying the launcher.
Two Chinese attack boats pulled up to the shore, but they continued moving forward onto the beach. As the vessels emerged from the water, it was revealed that they had 4 tracks on the underside, that allowed the vehicles to leave the water and move on land.
"Uh... what the hell are those things?" Kion said as Chinese troops disembarked the craft.
"Whatever it is, shoot it." Alex said, following his own words, as a turret on one of the amphibious vehicles opened fire. The captain would have loved to figure out more about the vehicles, as he loved new technology. But unfortunately the vehicles were shooting back at him.
An enemy heavy-arms trooper, carrying a grenade launcher, opened fire, blowing up a US vehicle and killing many US soldiers. Alex changed his target to the heavy trooper, attacking him with his sword. The captain managed to get a few good hits on the trooper before he could react. Once the trooper did react though, he blocked Alex's sword with his grenade launcher. The 2 combatants got into a weapon lock, before Alex used the blaster on his sword to kill the soldier by shooting him in the face.
Picking up the grenade launcher, the captain noticed one of the amphibious vehicles moving backwards into the water. There was probably a driver inside, or maybe it was autonomous. Directing the grenade launcher towards the vehicle, a couple shots managed to disable it.
"Man I would have loved to get a closer look at that thing!"
Jasiri and Kion had destroyed the turret on the second vehicle, and managed to do enough damage to disable the craft.
A United States B-1B Lancer bomber and its escort jets flew over the Chinese ships, the bomber dropping its payload and obliterating the vessels.
The Heroes team cheered and raised their weapons triumphantly as they watched the vessels burn. But this moment of victory was cut short when Judy's voice came through the radio, filled with worry.
"Hello? Can anyone hear me?"
"Oh hey, Officer Hopps." Kion said, feeling pleased with his work "We just took out a Chinese base."
"ZPD reports that the tide is turning in our favor, Kion, but we've also got a confirmed sighting of your counterpart. We're heading to investigate now."
"Do not engage! This guy is dangerous. I repeat, do not engage!" Alex said, hoping the rabbit listened to him. "We'll come there and assist you."
The trio turned away from the burning ships and headed back into the city. Their cheerful mood had changed to a drive to stop Kion's counterpart, as they did not want him to cause anymore chaos. Zootopia was not free just yet.
00000000
Well, I hope everyone enjoyed this new chapter! Next week, Heroes goes after Kion's counterpart. Until next time!

Cleon hints in the novels
Before I read the novels by S. D. Perry, I was aware that Aeon was as canon as it gonna get for Capcom. In my opinion, the original RE2 offered nothing that could be interpreted as attraction between Claire and Leon...I still liked them together nonetheless. The obsession I have with Claire and Leon first started when I read the novels. 13 year old me was beyond ecstatic when there were actual hints towards a possible romantic relationship between Claire and Leon (which I thought was a 1000 % canon back then, it was Capcom approved after all). Since I now know the novels can be considered as very well written fanfiction, I came to the realization that Ms Perry probably shipped them too. So without further ado, I tried to collect all the Cleon hints from the novels... which are mostly from "Underworld" and "Code Veronica".
______
Underworld - Chapter One
David's thoughts
Rebecca was unloading clips and repacking the weapons, Leon and Claire sitting close together across from her, not talking. Those two were usually joined at the hip, and were still as tight as they'd been since David, John, and Rebecca had picked them up just outside of Raccoon less than a month earlier, dirty and damaged and reeling from their run-in with Umbrella. David didn't think there was a romantic connection there, at least not yet; it was more likely their shared nightmare. Nearly dying together could be quite a bonding experience. As far as David knew, Leon and Claire were the only survivors of the Raccoon disaster who knew about Umbrella's T-Virus spill.
_______
Underworld - Chapter Two
Leon's thoughts
And what about Leon Kennedy? He'd stumbled into the fight without a clue, a cop fresh out of the academy on his way to his first day at work - which just happened to be with the Raccoon PD. There was Ada, true - but he'd known her less than half a day, and she had been killed just after admitting to him that she was some kind of an agent, sent to steal a sample of an Umbrella virus.
So I lost a job, and a possible relationship with a woman I barely knew and couldn't trust. Of course Umbrella should be stopped... but do I belong here?
He'd decided to become a cop because he wanted to help people, but he'd always figured that meant keeping the peace - busting drunk drivers, breaking up bar fights, catching crooks. Never in his wildest dreams would he have figured on being caught up in an international conspiracy, cloak-and-dagger infiltration-type stuff against a giant company that made war monsters. It was crime on a much bigger scale than he felt he was ready for...... and is that the real reason, Officer Kennedy? At exactly that moment, Claire mumbled something from her light doze, nuzzling her head against his arm before falling silent and still again - and making Leon uncomfortably aware of another facet to his involvement with the ex-S.T.A.R.S. Claire.
Claire was... she was an incredible woman. In the days after their escape from Raccoon City, they'd talked a lot about what had happened, the experiences they'd had both separately and together. At the time, it had felt like an exchange of information, filling in blanks - she'd told him about her run-in with Chief Irons and the creature she'd called Mr. X, and he'd told her all about Ada and the terrible thing that had once been William Birkin. Between them, they'd been able to come up with a continuous story, with information that was important to the fugitive team. In retrospect, though, he could see that those long, rambling conversations had been essential for another reason entirely - they'd been a way to leach out the poison of what had happened to them, like talking out a bad dream. If he'd had to keep it all inside, he thought, he might have gone crazy. In any case, the feelings he had for her now were convoluted ones - warmth, connection, dependence, respect, others that he had no name for. And that scared him, because he'd never felt so strongly about anyone before and because he wasn't sure how much of it was real and how much was just some kind of a post-traumatic stress thing.
Face it, stop bullshitting yourself. What you're really afraid of is that you're only here because she is, and you don't like what that says about you.
Leon nodded inwardly, realizing that it was the truth, the real reason behind his uncertainty. He'd always believed that want was okay, but need? He didn't like the idea of being led around by some neurotic compulsion to be close to Claire Redfield.
And what if it isn't need? Maybe it's want, and you just don't know it yet...
He scowled at his own pathetic attempts at self-analysis, deciding that maybe it would be best just to stop worrying about it so much. Whatever the reason for becoming involved, he was involved - he could kick ass with the best of them and Umbrella deserved to have their ass kicked, big time. For now, he had to pee, and then he was going to eat something and do his best to catch some sleep. Leon gently moved out from beneath Claire's warm, heavy head, doing his best not to wake her up. He slid out into the aisle, glancing around at the others.
______
Underworld - Chapter Five
Claire's and Leon's conversation
"Cold?" Leon asked. Claire turned away from the window, looking at him. He'd finished with the packs, and was holding one out to her. She took it, nodding in response to his question. "Aren't you?" He shook his head, grinning. "Thermal underwear. Could have used these in Raccoon..."Claire smiled. "How could I have used them? I was running around in a pair of shorts, you at least had your uniform. "Which was covered with lizard guts before I was halfway through the sewers," he said, and she was glad to hear him at least try to joke about it.
______
Underworld - Chapter 5
Claire's thougts
Leon put his hand on Claire's shoulder. "You up for this?" he asked softly, and Claire smiled inwardly, thinking of how sweet he was; she'd been thinking of asking him the same thing. In the days since Raccoon, they'd gotten pretty close- and although she wasn't positive, she'd picked up on a few signals that suggested he wouldn't mind getting closer. She still wasn't sure if that was a good idea
and now's not the time to be deciding. The sooner we get this code book, the sooner we get to Europe. To Chris.
"As up as I'm gonna be," she said, and Leon nodded, and they climbed out into the freezing night to join the others.
______
Underworld - Epilogue
With David and John supporting young Rebecca, and Leon and Claire smiling at one another like lovers, the five weary soldiers trudged off the screen and out into the gently blossoming Utah morning.
---------------
Code Veronica- Chapter Four
Leon receives Claire's message from the island and tells Chris and Barry about it
Leon had turned out to be a half decent hacker, he was in the next room on the computer; he'd hardly slept since Claire's capture, most of his time spent trying to track Umbrella's recent movements.
With both their parents dead, he and Claire had developed a close relationship, and he thought he knew her pretty well; she was smart and tough and resourceful, always had been... but she was also a college student, for Christ's sake. Unlike the rest of them, she didn't have any formal combat training. He couldn't help thinking that she'd been lucky so far, and when it came to Umbrella, luck just wasn't enough.
"Chris, get in here!"
Leon, and it sounded urgent. Chris and Barry looked at each other, Chris seeing his own worry mirrored in Barry's face, and they both stood up. His heart in his throat, Chris hurriedly led the way down the hall to where Leon was working, feeling eager and afraid at once. The young cop was standing next to the computer, his expression unreadable. "She's alive," Leon said simply. Chris hadn't even been aware of how bad things had been for him until those two words. It was like his heart had suddenly been released after being gripped hi a vise for ten days, the sense of relief as physical as it was emotional, his skin flushing with it.
Alive, she's alive...Barry clapped him on the shoulder, laughing. "Of course she is, she's a Redfield."
Chris grinned, turned his attention back to Leon and felt his smile slipping at the cop's carefully neutral expression. There was something else. Before he could ask, Leon motioned at the screen, taking a deep breath. "They've got her on an island, Chris... and there's been an accident."
Chris was leaning over the computer in a single stride. He read the brief message twice, the reality of it slow to sink in.
Infection trouble approximately 37S, 12W following attack, perps unknown. No bad guys left, I think, but stuck at the moment. Watch your back, bro, they know the city if not the street. Will try to be home soon.
Chris stood up, silently locking gazes with Leon as Barry read the message. Leon smiled, but it looked forced. "You didn't see her in Raccoon," he said. "She knows how to handle herself, Chris. And she managed to get to a computer, right?" Barry straightened up, took his cue from Leon. "That means she's not locked down," he said seriously. "And if Umbrella's got its hands full with another viral spill, they're not going to be paying attention to anything else. The important thing is that she's alive."
Chris nodded absently, mind already working on what he would need for the trip. The coordinates she'd listed put her in an incredibly isolated spot, deep in the South Atlantic, but he had an old Air Force buddy who owed him, could jet him down to Buenos Aires, maybe Capetown; he could rent a boat from there, survival gear, rope, medkit, an assload of firepower... "I'm going with you," Barry said, accurately reading his expression. They'd been friends a long time. "Me, too," Leon said. Chris shook his head. "No, absolutely not." Both men started to protest, and Chris raised his voice, talking over them.
"You saw what she said, about Umbrella homing in on me, on us," he said firmly. "That means we have to relocate, maybe one of the estates outside the city - some-one has to stay here, wait for Rebecca's team to get back, and someone else needs to scout out a new base of operations. And don't forget, Jill will be here any day now."
Barry frowned, scratched at his beard, his mouth set in a thin, tight line. "I don't like it. Going in alone is a bad idea..." "We're at a crucial phase right now, and you know it," Chris said. "Somebody's got to mind the shop, Barry, and you're the man. You've got the experience, you know all the contacts." "Fine, but at least take the kid," Barry said, gesturing toward Leon. For once, Leon didn't protest the label, only nodded, drawing himself up, shoulders back and head high.
"If you won't do it for yourself, think about Claire,"Barry continued. "What happens to her if you get your - self killed? You need a backup, somebody to pick up the ball if you fumble."Chris shook his head, immovable. "You know better, Barry, this has to be as quiet as possible. Umbrella may have already sent in a cleanup crew. One person, in and out before anyone even realizes I'm there."
Barry was still frowning, but he didn't push it. Neither did Leon, although Chris could see that he was working up to it; the cop and Claire had obviously gotten pretty close.
"I'll bring her back," Chris said, softening his tone, looking at Leon. Leon hesitated, then nodded, high color burning in his cheeks, making Chris wonder exactly how close Leon and his sister had become.
Later. I can worry about his intentions if we make it back alive... when we make it back alive, he quickly amended. If was not an option. "It's settled, then,"
Chris said. "Leon, find me a good map of the area, geographical, political, everything, you never know what might help. Also post back to Claire, just in case she gets another chance to check for mes - sages - tell her I'm on my way. Barry, I want to be pack - ing major influence, but lightweight, something I can hike in without too much trouble, maybe a Glock... you're the expert, you decide."
Both men nodded, turned away to get started, and Chris closed his eyes for just a second, quickly offering up a silent prayer.
Please, please stay safe until I get there, Claire.
It wasn't much - but then, Chris had the feeling he would be praying a lot more in the long hours to come.

Code Veronica - Chapter nine
Steve and Claire on the plane to Antarctica, Steve’s thoughts
He looked down at her, at her tousled hair and long lashes, his heart pounding even though he was trying to relax. She moved again, shifting in her sleep, her head tilting back a little and her slightly parted lips were suddenly close enough for him to kiss, all he had to do was tip his face down a few inches, and he wanted to so bad that he actually started to do it, lowering his mouth toward hers... "Mmmm," she murmured, still totally asleep, and he stopped, pulling back, his heart beating even faster. He totally wanted to but not like that, not if she didn't want him to. He thought she did, but she'd also told him a little about her friend Leon, too, and he wasn't so sure that they were just friends. Feeling tortured, having her so close but not his, he was relieved when she rolled away from him a few seconds later.

You hazily blink awake and find yourself lying peacefully wrapped in Sam's arms. Your head lies on his bare chest, slowly rising and falling with his steady breathing. You glance at the clock glaring brightly through the dark room. 6:04 a.m. shines back at you and you breathe a heavy sigh. You lift your head to look up at Sam. He looks incredibly peaceful as he sleeps, not to mention incredibly handsome. You don't want to disturb him but you know you can't just leave without saying anything. You lean up and place a gentle kiss on Sam's jaw, making him stir and smile in his sleep.
"I should go," you whisper. Sam's eyebrows furrow but he doesn't open his eyes, seemingly still in a dreamy state.
"No beautiful, stay with me. I've waited so long," he murmurs as he hugs you closer to him. You blush and decide to stay for another hour at most. You want to be able to go home without Josh seeing you walking through his house so early in the morning, he'll definitely ask questions. You know that if he saw you, you wouldn't be able to lie to him. You close your eyes again and quickly fall back asleep.
When you wake up again, you notice the sun shining gently through the window. You look at the clock and read 9:28 a.m. shining back at you.
"Shit. Sam wake up," you gently rub Sam's chest. he grasps at your hand gently.
"Hm?" he asks groggily, his eyes still closed.
"I have to go."
"What, why?" his eyes blink open as you sit up, reluctantly leaving his warm embrace.
"I just should really get going," you whisper, you didn't want to tell him about the promise that you made to his older brother.
"But why though? It's summer, remember? Just stay a little longer," he tries to convince you, rubbing his eyes.
"No Sam I can't, I-" you're cut off by a loud knocking at the bedroom door.
"Sam, are you awake?" Josh calls through the door. You're startled as you sit still with fear.
"Yeah, why?" Sam replies.
"Can I come in?" Josh asks. Sam looks at you and you violently shake your head no.
"N-no" he stumbles. You hear Josh laugh behind the door.
"That was a rhetorical question," he chuckles.
"I'm not decent, Josh," Sam says.
"Nothing I haven't seen before," Josh states before opening the door and walking in. Josh's eyes widen in surprise, looking at you sitting up in Sam's bed while he lies, shirtless, beside you. The look of shock on his face quickly turns to a look of hurt sadness. He swallows hard.
"Breakfast is ready," he says in a low voice, glancing at you briefly before returning to the hall, closing Sam's door behind him. You put your head in your hands and shake your head, muttering profanities as you slide out of bed. You realize that you're still wearing a tank top and short shorts from the night before. You dismiss the thought, too worried about Josh seeing you to care about your appearance.
"Come on," you sigh to Sam, giving him a nervous glance as he joins you and you head down to the kitchen.
You and Sam take a seat at the kitchen counter beside Josh and begin to silently eat the pancakes he made you.
"Where's Jake?" Sam asks Josh, breaking the uneasy silence.
"He went out to get some backup guitar strings," he replies, not bothering to look up from his food.
"Oh yeah! Did Josh tell you we were going on tour?" Sam asks you excitedly. You notice Josh look up at you from the corner of your eye.
"Yeah, congratulations! I'm so proud of you all," you reply with a forced smile.
"Yeah we're all really excited," Sam says, "it's too bad we'll have to leave all summer though." You can feel Josh's eyes on you as you try hard to focus on your pancakes.
"Yeah, I'll miss you guys," you reply honestly.
"Hey, why don't you come with us?" Sam asks happily, looking from you to Josh. You glance up at Sam as a smile tugs at your lips. You open your mouth to reply but you're quickly cut off.
"No. She's not coming," Josh states, taking a bite of his pancake. Your heart drops and Sam's smile fades.
"Why not?" Sam glares at Josh and he meets his brother's gaze.
"She's not a part of this Sam," Josh says.
"Is this because you saw us in my bed together?" Sam accuses, while you look at him anxiously, "because it isn't what you think it is." Josh drops his fork and it clatters loudly against his plate.
"Oh no, I'm sure it isn't. Obviously, there isn't anything going on between the two of you. That would be insane, right?" Josh replies calmly, staring only at you while he spoke. You quickly nod.
"Of course Josh, don't be ridiculous," you say quickly before Sam could respond. Sam turns his attention to you, his eyebrows furrowed as he waits eagerly for you to continue. "There's nothing going on between us, I just needed a place to sleep for the night," you attempt to lie, although Josh clearly isn't convinced.
"Mhm," Josh slurs, picking up his fork and returning his attention to finishing his breakfast. You glance briefly at Sam and notice him looking at you, his lips parted slightly and his eyes sad. You try hard to ignore him as you focus on eating your pancakes. Nobody spoke. You finish eating and stand up with your empty plate, Josh rising from his seat as well.
"Sam, do the dishes," Josh says quietly, "I want to talk to y/n for a minute." Your stomach drops and your heart begins to race.
"Fine," Sam grumbles, taking your plate from you.
Josh leads you upstairs to his room, remaining silent the whole way. He closes his bedroom door behind you and turns to you, shoving his hands in his pockets. He looks at you for a moment, seemingly contemplating what to say.
"Why are you here," he asks you quietly. You can't possibly tell him the truth, even though you know he'll be able to tell if you lie.
"Listen Josh, it's really not what you think it is. I just needed a place to sleep, nothing happened between Sam and me, I only slept in his bed," you ramble. His eyes never leave yours as he shakes his head slightly, narrowing his eyes.
"Why aren't you telling me the truth, y/n?" Josh asks softly.
"You know I wouldn't lie to you."
"I used to believe that but now I'm not so sure."
"Josh please believe me," you plead. He scoffs and a sudden wave of pain washes over his face, clearly evident in his eyes. If he was holding in his emotions before he clearly isn't anymore. Your heart breaks at the way he looks at you.
"Believe you? I know you y/n. You're lying straight to my face."
"Josh-" before you can continue Josh cuts you off, his voice low.
"what happened last night," he asks again, and you notice his eyes begin to tear up. All you want is to tell him the truth, you're heartbroken that you can't.
"Nothing happened between me and Sam," you say quietly as Josh's eyes narrow and he shakes his head at you. You look at your feet. You know you haven't convinced him but it's too late to go back. "I just got here last night and I saw a light on in his room, so I went in and asked to stay overnight, that's all."
You look back up at him and what you see makes you wish you hadn't looked up at all. A tear rolls down Josh's cheek, followed quickly by another. His watery eyes are still fixed on yours, and your heart aches.
"I thought our friendship was stronger than this," he says evenly in a deep voice. You feel your eyes water as you reach your hand up to wipe away his tears. He turns his face away from you and looks to the wall, not letting you touch him. You drop your hand and a tear escapes your eye.
"I thought you'd never lie to me," his voice wavers slightly, "I thought we were best friends."
"We are Josh, I'll always be your best friend," you say. He looks back at you with sad eyes.
"No," his voice cracks and you choke back a sob, "you can't be if you're going to make me a promise, break it, and then lie to me about it." Tears stream freely down your face now. You had never made Josh cry before now, and you've never felt worse about yourself.
"I'm so sorry," you breathe, shaking your head.
"After all of this, you're still not going to tell me what really happened?" he wonders aloud. You look quietly back at your feet and wipe away the tears that stung your cheeks. You nervously glance back up at him and watch him wipe his own tears away while he turns towards the door. He grabs the handle but you can't let him leave like this, even if it'll only put you in a worse position.
"Josh wait," you force out. His hand stays around the doorknob but he stays perfectly still, facing the door. "I-I kissed him."
He looks over his shoulder at you and you notice his face soaked with many more tears than you saw him shed moments before. He stares you right in the eyes and bites his lip in an attempt to stop himself from crying. It doesn't work, tears continuing to stain his cheeks. He swings the door open and walks out without another word. You reach out your arm in his direction but he closes it behind him. Stunned, you sink to the floor and sit with your face buried in your hands. Hurting Josh was the last thing you wanted. You hated knowing that he was crying right now because of you. You hear him walking downstairs as Sam calls out to him.
"Josh what happened?" you hear Sam ask, muffled by the door. There's no reply. Instead, you hear the front door open and slam shut as you cry into your arms. You hear footsteps ascending the stairs so you stand up and wipe away your tears, not doing a very good job as your face is still soaked. You hear a knock at the bedroom door, so you stumble over and open it, meeting Sam's eyes with your own. You can't even look at him without thinking about what you did to Josh.
"Y/n are you ok? What's wrong?" he asks, clearly extremely worried. It's not often that Josh cries. Sam takes a step towards you but you brush past him and rush downstairs.
"N-not now Sam," you say before running to the front door and throwing it open, not bothering to close it as you run outside. You jog down the driveway and see Josh sitting in his car. His arms are crossed on top of the steering wheel and his head is leaning heavily on his arms. Your heart drops in your chest, you've truly never felt lower. He doesn't see you so you continue to run down the driveway and onto the road. You hear Sam call after you but you don't stop.
You sprint until you reach your house, tears streaming down your face. You throw your door open and hurry inside. You call out to your dad but don't hear a reply, confirming your suspicion that he's gone out. You run up the stairs to your room and sit down on your bed, defeated. You gasp for breath between heavy sobs, burying your face in your hands. You can't believe that you broke your promise to Josh. For the first time, you feel like your friendship is broken. Watching Josh cry and knowing it was entirely your fault shattered your heart. Lying to his face over and over made you wish nothing had ever happened between you and Sam. You regretted sneaking out and waking him up last night. You regretted taking him to the creek and kissing him, and above all else, you regretted sleeping in his bed with him afterward.
All you wanted now was for Josh to forgive you, but you had seriously broken his trust. Your heart aches. You feel a hand touch your back gently and feel the space on the bed beside you sink. You remove your head from your hands and glance up to see Sam sitting beside you. Concern spreads in his eyes when he sees your face, although you don't need a mirror to know that you feel much worse than you look. He reaches out and pulls you into a warm hug. Without thinking, you bury your face into his chest as he rubs small circles into your back with his hands. Your tears soak into his shirt.
"Shhh," he whispers comfortingly, in an attempt to calm you down. It doesn't work. All that you can think about is knowing that Josh is crying just as hard as you are right now, with no one to comfort him. He deserves somebody to be there for him right now like Sam is here for you. But the difference is, you don't deserve Sam. You're the one who should be alone. You pull away from Sam and stand up, walking away from him as you cover your mouth with your hand to hold back a sob.
"Sam, I-I can't do this," you say shakily. You hear him stand up from the bed behind you.
"Can't do what?" he asks, his voice seeming to be afraid to hear how you might answer. You turn around to face him, hugging your arms to your stomach.
"I can't be with you right now," you say quietly as you watch his face fall, "we can't be together," you continue. Sam looks at his feet but remains silent.
"I mean, we're only friends, right? It's ok," you say, trying harder to convince yourself than Sam. He shakes his head and looks back up at you with sad eyes.
"We're not just friends and you know it," his voice deep. You shake your head, knowing that he's right but not wanting to admit it to yourself. You have to get through this, for Josh's sake.
"We have to be."
"No we don't!" his voice cracks, full of sadness. It reminds you of when you were talking to Josh. Sam takes a step towards you and you look at your feet. He takes your hands into his.
"Y/n please don't break my heart," he breathes shakily, "I don't know what I'd do." You close your eyes and let another tear fall as you let go of his hands, looking up to meet Sam's eyes.
"I'm sorry."
