DUCKCEMBER DAY 1: 91 Darkwing Duck

As December rolls around in St. Canard, so does the unbearable cold that comes from the falling snow... As much as the sight is pretty, Darkwing Duck always dreads fighting crime with the kind of weather that these storms are making... And he thought Isis Vanderchill's cold winds was chilling...

Now that I am officially on summer break, I am craving to do more redesigns - ✨Villain-style✨. So...

Capsaicin aka Pepper Sputterspark! Megavolt's fire mutant hot-headed little sister who runs a chili restaurant :) been developing her a bit and also roleplaying as her so figured i'd share her here. Also she's dating Isis Vanderchill :) can spit fire and create it with her hands but cannot manipulate existing fires that she hasn't created. She recharges her powers much like Megavolt does, although she recharges by eating spicy foods instead of through electricity

Who is most likely to try to end an argument with the Liquidator with something along the lines of, "This is why your wife left you!"?

To start with, DW would not say something like this, but only because it’s not his style (he would go for an annoying alliterative affront). And I can’t see Launchpad saying this, but that would be hysterical.

Out of the Fearsome Four, I'd say (with great amusement) that Quackerjack is the most likely culprit. Megavolt doesn’t swing that hard without getting hit first, and Bushroot would be too self-conscious of his own dating history to use this line effectively (the counter would be too easy). Also Quackerjack can be a sassy inconsiderate little shit sometimes so there’s that

Negaduck would not be against saying this but he also wouldn’t end any argument without the use of a chainsaw or other morbid instadeath device

Now if we’re talking about the entire cast of Darkwing Duck here, well let me just tell YOU that I can’t remember half of the one-shot characters BUT.

Assuming that, in this scenario, the character in question A. knows who The Liquidator is, B. knows he had a wife and C. knows that she left him... Steelbeak and Tuskernini are both huge assholes, yes. Splatter Phoenix wouldn’t say this but only because she’d say something egotistical and infuriating instead. Isis Vanderchill seems too classy to use this line. Camille Chameleon might... and Sara Bellum and Neptunia both definitely would, because one is a queen and the other is a Queen. And the mental image of Gosalyn saying this is almost as hysterical as Launchpad, and best of all, I’d pin her as a maybe.

But at the end of the day, the medal for which popular 1991 animated series Darkwing Duck character predicted most likely to end an argument with “This is why your wife left you!” against The Liquidator goes to...

between other drawings and trying to finish part 3 some time this century and just being busy lately i wish i had more time to redesign characters. i did splatter phoenix once but i don't really like the design anymore. i had looked at doing isis actually but nothing struck me. and i have no idea who that other character is
