> About: The "SymbNET International Meeting on Host-Microbe Symbiosis"
> will bring together researchers working on a diverse range of questions,
> approaches, and model systems. The meetingwill cover different host
> systems such as plants, animals and humans and different molecular
> mechanisms, functional understanding and ecological models of the
> interactions. The purpose is to highlight the most recent advances in
> the field, common principles between systems, and future directions to
> explore. This meeting is organized in the context of the EU twinning
> grant SymbNET with specific sessions organised by NCCR Microbiomes
> and CRC Metaorganisms. It will host 200 participants, with all sessions
> being plenary.

— The moment the original citizens of Emporia ran away from the only home they’d known, it was to be expected that plenty of them would hide in as many different locations from around the world as they could in hopes to go undetected, and the smartest ones likely put an end to their bloodlines by only having one child, if any. However, while these tactics may have helped them generally turn invisible to the eyes of the remaining Emporia board members, it too left their offsprings vulnerable, and alone in a world where anyone with the right tools could harm them, and naturally, the new leaders couldn’t pass on the chance of recruiting poor unfortunate orphans in need.
