so my read on the gucci front of clem/gucci is that it's like your friend from like swim team or debate club in middle school whose mom got to be friends with your mom and you hang out all the time but it's always like an event to be at her house and most people only hang out with her because she has a pool and when her mom is around you both she really pointedly asks you what extracurriculars you're doing and about your grades and you can tell it's part of an argument that they're having and you both go to the same college but make different friends and you realize that even though you've technically been friends for a long time you never really talk about anything and every so often she's like "we should hang out!" and it's always a production and you sometimes have fun but you end up having to just go home and lie down after and like you won't say no because it's clear her personal life is going downhill and you don't think she has any other friends and after a while you start to miss her and think "maybe i should reach out" but every time she calls you feel like this sense of rising dread

and then brnine/gucci is like you run into some kid you sat next to in an advanced placement class in high school as an adult and they start selling you weed at a price you later learn was extortionate and the two of you end up kind of running in the same circle for a while but one of your mutual friends dies and your friend group gets kind of destroyed and the two of you get really close because you both moved to the same new city trying to get a fresh start but your job ends up as a contractor for their job and they're harder to do reports on than go out with and increasingly they only call you when they're drunk and doing something stupid

tbh i want her relationship with jesset city on screen i bet the vibes there are fucked
