I see Karl from InRange hasn't been dealing well with being dumped.
Glad Ian jumped off that ship before it began sinking.

Cornfield Brutality Part 5- Stage 1 Long Range Assault
This stage hurt my pride. I am what some people would call “out of practice” with iron sights at distance. My Windham A4 was zeroed for a good old fashioned USMC 36/300 meter zero, but in my excitement i forgot some things.
The stage began with a angled roof shooting position and the shooter was to engage a 400 yard target with five well aimed shots minimum, but could continue until they got a hit if they so chose. moving on after the five shots was a 60 second penalty. Enter my first mistake- not adjusting my rear sight elevation and holding low when i should have held high. 300 meters is about 328 yards. 400 yards is about 365 meters. Neither is too far off, close enough to land a hit with Kentucky windage if I had remembered what I was doing. By shot number 3 I had figured out my problem (with help from the spotters) but still did not manage to land a hit. I decided eating the 60 seconds and moving on was the right call.
Tumblr media
Moving to the first hay obstacle, my plan is basically to get the best sight picture I can and wing it based on feedback from the spotters. Further complicating the situation is my sights are still set for 300 meters, my targets are closer, and I am advancing on them between the obstacles. Windage was not much of an issue, the zero was good and while pretty windy at the range it maintained almost no value. The biggest factor with windage was my front sight being wider than the targets, so as you would see on the YouTube video of this stage, I continue to dance around the targets. I did ultimately land the four hits needed to move on to the second obstacle and repeated this process.
Tumblr media
I also learned that I should probably practice reloading from an ALICE pouch in the prone before next year. that sapped some time from me and I managed to get my third hit at this obstacle just before the buzzer informed us that my time was up.
Stage one, in simplest terms, kicked my ass. I know i can hit targets that far, ive done it before. (nevermind 9holereviews pointing out that target was the size of a jeep vs the IPSC targets I was shooting at for this match) the principals remain the same. More practice will definitely be needed before next years run of Cornfield Brutality.
Tumblr media
I want to thank InRange TV for putting on this and all of the brutality matches, and a very sincere thanks to Brownell’s for hosting the match at their range. It was overall a great time and I cannot wait for Cornfield Brutality 2023.
In the meantime, if you want to set yourself up for a Brutality match, USPSA or really any style of shooting, make sure to hit up Brownell’s. you can save 10% off your order by using promo code pipeguy10 on any order of $150 or more at brownells.com

ONEW•JONGHYUN•KEY•MINHO•TAEMIN… '15th Anniversary' SHINee's 'RACE'
Tumblr media
Since the debut in 2008, SHINee has been considered a role model for many K-pop artists as both a group and solo artists. Not only did all the members release solo albums, but they also have a solid career in various fields such as entertainment, acting, musicals, and fashion. SHINee, who has been developing personal skills not only through the team but also through solo activities, announced that they will reunite to mark the 15th anniversary of their debut this year. While high expectations are being placed on the synergy that 'Complete SHINee' will show, we looked back at SHINee's brilliant solo career.
Tumblr media
Unrivaled ‘VOICE’ Onew. Onew, who sang many drama OSTs and collaboration songs, released his first solo album ‘VOICE’ in December 2018, which was filled with his own lyrical music, once again proving his warm tone and outstanding singing ability. He solidified his position as a unique vocalist by presenting a fresh and refreshing charm with ‘DICE’ and a healing song that comforts the listeners with his first regular album ‘Circle’ Last March, he held his solo concerts in Korea and Japan, thrilling his global fans with a high-quality performance that combines colorful music, performance, and scent production. He also played the role of Haram in the musical 'Midnight Sun' and received favorable reviews for his delicate portrayal of his shy character. Unchanging team's ‘BASE’ Jonghyun Jonghyun, who was recognized for his solid skills early on with his refreshing vocals, has released his first solo album ‘BASE’, his first collection 'Story Op.1', his first full-length album 'She Is', his second collection 'Story Op.2' and his second full-length album 'Poet | Artist', the albums that show a wide spectrum of music have received enthusiastic responses from music fans. In addition, he participated in the lyrics and composition of various songs that cross genres, such as his solo album songs, SHINee's hit songs 'Juliette' and 'View', Taemin's 'Pretty Boy', and EXO's 'PLAYBOY'. For about three years from 2014, he communicated with listeners every night as a radio DJ and gave warm comfort, and he was active in various fields such as publishing the novel “Skeleton Flower: Things That Have Released and Set Free”.
Tumblr media
Always new ‘FACE’ Key Key is showing off his versatility in music, entertainment, fashion, etc. to the extent that he is called 'all-around cheat key'. He opened wide the door as a solo artist with his first full-length album 'FACE', and with the so-called 'retro trilogy' leading to his first mini-album 'BAD LOVE', his 2nd full-length album 'Gasoline' and repackage 'Killer', he presented music and performances with a unique charm that can be heard. In addition, Key is displaying an excellent sense of entertainment in popular entertainment programs such as tvN's 'Amazing Saturday' and MBC's 'I Live Alone'. Accordingly, it was realized that he was receiving high public attention by winning the Male Excellence Award in the variety category at the '2022 MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards', and winning the '2022 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards' and the '2022 Brand of the Year Awards' for two consecutive years in the entertainment idol male category. Challenges with passion ‘CHASE’ Minho Minho, a 'passionate character' in the music industry, has played a prominent role in various entertainment shows, including sports variety programs since his debut, combining his superior physique, passion that burns like a flame, wit and sense. He also showed his smooth hosting skills as an entertainment MC, including various award ceremonies and the original TVing ‘Webtoon Singer’. In addition, Minho showed a variety of performances across the spectrum through dramas such as tvN's ‘The Most Beautiful Goodbye’ and Netflix series ‘The Fabulous’, as well as movies 'Inrang' and ‘Jangsari: Forgotten Heroes’. In December last year, he released his first mini-album ‘CHASE’ filled with hip-hop and R&B genres with his own emotions, filling the last puzzle piece of SHINee's solo album. K-pop ‘ACE’ Taemin Taemin announced his solo debut as the first member of SHINee with his first mini-album ‘ACE’ in 2014. With the hit songs ‘MOVE’ and ‘WANT’, he caused the so-called ‘Move’ and 'WANT' syndrome and won awards in the album and best dance performance solo categories at various awards ceremonies. In addition, Taemin is loved by fans all over the world for his excellent vocals and powerful performance skills, as he has various modifiers such as 'Yeoksolnam (all-time solo male singer)' and 'Taemdol (Taemin is also a role model)'. He has established himself as an irrefutable "ACE" of K-pop by proving his powerful global power by successfully completing his first arena tour 17 times in six cities across Japan in 2019.

What other things can you say about InRange and Forgotten Weapons that are recent
Lessee... Karl at InRange has been collabing with more people on a variety of topics, like Annette Evans specializing in women's self-defense, for example. He was a guest on Behind the Bastards for the Hiram Maxim episodes, he had a discussion video with Atun-Shei about John Brown, and he and SinistralRifleman are still working on Brutality stuff. I don't know much of anything about his personal life, and frankly do not care. If that's relevant to anyone, I think it's worth remembering that the reason Brownells dropped him and Ian parted ways with him was because he committed the crime of saying trans people are people with rights on arfcom, not because he does things you might consider cringe on his own time.
I think Ian has realized that he might've fucked up by not standing by his onetime friend, as his channel has kinda struggled for new content and he's started trying to create his own Brutality spin-offs and rip-offs. There are only so many Forgotten Weapons worth talking about, after all, and so a lot of his videos lately have been more like Modern Garbage, stuff that was "forgotten" not because it was old, but because it sucked and/or had no market niche like the Coonan and COP .357. The VHS-2/Springfield Hellion getting a new variant is just bog standard "hey guys new version of a gun" video that TFBTV handles. It'd explain part of why he's copyright striking old videos with InRange, if he can publish new videos about the same topics, that'll keep him afloat. The Royal Armouries have kinda started to eat his lunch, not only having constant access to all kinds of old and interesting firearms, but also regularly talking about them in a way relevant to a wider audience by comparing them to their video game representation. They're doing some collaboration videos now, but we'll see how long that lasts if they catch a whiff of that Leviathan Group stink on him.
Also it was a little embarrassing when he tried to fact-check Siege of Jadotville and the Chieftain made a response video that rightly pointed out that sometimes, troops just do things that don't actually make sense because they believe they make sense.

Constitutional Defense is shockingly affordable for what it offers: $500 for four days of handgun training and a day of lectures. Comparable classes elsewhere cost up to $500 per day. Nor is the training shoddy. As a veteran and a longtime gun owner, I have been through my share of firearms courses. Constitutional Defense is far and away the best training I have ever received.
Only after the class is over do I put it together. The handgun course is a loss leader. The ideology is the product.
They wouldn't be the first to try this model. I remember Front Sight Academy advertising everywhere with Dr. Piazza's face plastered in the sidebar of every gun blog like a direct-to-video Harry DuBois
Tumblr media
Rumors abounded about Front Sight and Scientology, which Piazza credited with his success.
Karl at InRange was recently asked if he thought about offering training classes, and he said he didn't, because most people looking to get into training are looking to get their training from some "been there, done that guy" and he's not that, he's a competitive shooter, and goes on to point out that "a lot of training classes, sadly, are based on touching the magic of the person that's giving the class, not the skills of the information contained therein." And I can't help but be reminded of how many highly-touted training courses are branded on Some Fucking Guy: Larry Vickers, Travis Haley, Clint Smith, Chris Costa, Gabe Suarez, et cetera, et al, ad nauseam.
That's not to say that the products associated with these people are bad, but... well. Multiple people on this list have beclowned themselves in one way or another over the years. Whatever value their training had was diminished by perfectly human mistakes.
Which brings us back to the problem that most people seeking firearms training courses aren't merely seeking proficiency. They are seeking a Perfect Master to teach them the Secret Way. The martial arts community has been plagued by this for decades, and now it's extended to firearms. Shit, that fucking asshole Dave Grossman claims to have a black belt in Hojutsu, "the martial art of the firearm." Keith Rainere, leader of the NXIVM cult, claimed to hold many high martial arts awards in Judo.
For some reason, as humans, we almost always open ourselves to magical thinking when seeking instruction in the art of fighting and killing. And even when we're just looking for meaning in life, we look for signs that it comes from an untouchable warrior. Both of which make us extremely vulnerable to cult mentality.

Previous anon again, dug through the fw/inrange subreddits and it turns out there has been some more recent bad blood between Ian and Karl. Something about an anti-inrangetv flamewar on ar-15.com that Karl got involved in, he ended up getting banned and Brownells who own the site dropped the What Would Stoner Do (WWSD) rifle project as a result. Ian tried to stay out of it and maintain ties with Brownells and that upset Karl, then things broke down further after Midnight Brutality in a situation I don't fully understand. Doesn't paint Ian in a good light but at the same time, it's tough. Sorry for dumping this on you but it bothered me to learn. :(
That's actually good to know! It sucks but it's also kinda reassuring since it does a lot to allay my latent fears about Ian having covert right-wing views
