I can explain.

Ngl, the match ended up being .... bizarre. Actually, i am living for how weird it ended up to be !

Ares itself is a season who is, more or less, a copycat of season 1 but with other protagonists (thanks god, the new kid aren't ersatz of Endou, Gouenji and Kidou, and it is more an aftertaste than a fact). It was a normal Football Frontier.

Spoiler alert : the new main team, Inakuni Raimon, wins the tournament, what a shocking plotwist...

My point is that Ares is predictable and not very original, and some of the most interesting ideas have been mishandled. It is the most normal IE can get. (Wtf, IE being "normal", the same IE where you sakka with dinosaurs against aliens and communists to save the Earth by time-travelling ?)

And then, comes the match against Hakuren.

Where to even begin ?

Both teams have similar situations : they are both participating for the first time, and very surprisigly got far (very powerful opponents from last year were also here), both are from the country, both are supposedly underdogs, both have a " unsufferable ace striker" and "sponsor" problem, both uses weird tactics, and in the 2 cases, only 1/3 of the team pull their weight. I can go on, but it will be long.

The development during the match : this match has its moments, its "plotwists". It begins with Hakuren having the upper hand, Atsuya dominating Inakuni physically and psychologically (he insults your dad). Then, Asuto makes Inakuni to gather their shit together in the 2nd half, but it actually makes Shirou and Atsuya playing even more serious. Someoka (hey he's here!) makes Nae the new recruit come on the field. Turns out she sucks at sakka. But also is supersonic. And she befriends with Norika the Inakuni goalie because why not. The hakuren coach makes his team to do weird tactics to accomodate Nae, communicating with weird hand sign with the public and the team, and it works, Inakuni is confused. Hattori, a Inakuni defender, is a ninja wannabe so he can understand weird hand sign, and makes Inakuni have the upper hand for once. But, after a father-daughter drama (Nae is the coach's daughter, who is also the sponsor), they stop using hand sign but the Hakuren tactic still works, so Hattori is confused but there is little time left. Shirou, Atsuya and Nae goes to execute Triple Blizzard but it is countered by Counter Drive, by Asuto and Kozomarou (it comes from nowhere), and they goal and win. This is so wtf, i love it. Literally what is going on in this match lmao

The element of surprise : refer to the previous point (and i haven't told everything). This match is the absolute chaos no one saw coming. Everything was unexpected. Even the fraud Counter Drive that comes from nowhere is actually brilliant : Hakuren dominated this match because their main assets were unpredicable (and powerful), but it backfired at them. I used to hate it, but now i know it is chief's kiss.

The team co-op : the actual theme of the episodes. When you think in outer code 1, it was established Hakuren had co-op problems because of Atsuya, and then the match comes and it's perfect, makes me think that we, the audience, has been gaslighted to think they was a problem lol. And let's enjoy the coordination between Shirou and Atsuya + at the end of the match, with all hakuren

Shirou and Atsuya, my babies, my blorbos, my fave. If they are in the episode, you know it will be a good time. It was more focused on Atsuya than Shirou, but i don't hate it since he was goated in this match.

I actually like Nae, their new recruit. Yes, she can be annoying but idk, she's funny. I like the sibling relationship she has with Atsuya and the friendship with Norika. Not the most meaningful things Ares had to offer, but it was nice ! :)

The fact that, upon witnessing this match, Haizaki "has seen the light" where he was at this worst. Like, his team is disqualified, he got beat up by thugs without reason, but then he sees Asuto playing in this match, and suddenly things seems to improve. Truly a Haizaki x Asuto moment. Asuto is Jesus to Haizaki lmao

Conclusion :

Kinda want to see someone edit screenshots of Inakuni Raimon to give them the Inakuni kit. The colors are much better.

Any Inazuma Eleven fans around? If you follow me on twitter, you'll know I'm currently having an Inazuma Eleven brainrot and, more exactly, a Fudou Akio brainrot. So I'm watching Inazuma Eleven Ares right now and ofc I had to write something to deal with the pain of my beloved Teikoku losing to Inakuni Raimon.

Log #1 "Okay So- I got myself into this mess" Loading....

Some friends gave me their thoughts on the series after I asked around and their answers made me think.

AreOri is an alternate timeline where Fubuki Atsuya lives, the alien attack didn't happen, Gouenji didn't have to run, Raimon got divorced and went separate ways, and teams have sponsors now because capitalism. (im joking on some parts but still)

Now, we're starting where everything is dead and done and Raimon already went to other schools and made a name for themselves, and we're following a new cast who have to deal with the aftermath of everything. And the new villain, children perfectionism/ half-joke. I haven't finished Ares yet, but I can feel like that's a part of the theme especially with the whole schtick the Balance of Ares program's got going on. But that's a different story for a different time.

What I'm gonna be talking about now is the characters.

Of course that characters we loved and knew from the OG series are gonna be different here. (im still confused about someoka ngl) The development they went through in the OG is gonna be pretty different here or probably non-existent. A huge part of Fubuki's arc was caused by his family's death and it all avalanched into mental instability. (if my memory's right, it's been a while since i've revisted the OG series) Kazemaru also probably didn't leave Raimon in the AreOri timeline, so guess what, he just teams up with the antagonist in his character arc in every timeline. It actually reveals an interesting about his character, tho (i HAVE to watch the entirety of OG, im feeling it)

But the thing is, we also have ANOTHER cast to develop along with explaining some of the changes with the first cast. I feel like there's going to be a lot of flashback moments with the old cast. And to make up for the lack of development of some characters, I'm gonna involve the new cast into their development so the spotlight gets shared equally if it comes to it. Cause the new cast needs some love AND development. But I still have to finish the series and study them more.

So, my thoughts so far on Ares:

Rushed. Jesus H. Christ, twas rushed. It gives the feeling of tuning in while missing out on parts of the story, atleast for me. The first episode made me feel like I was missing the first half of it. I wished they let us see what the kids' life on the island was like. You know to SHOW US WHY WE SHOULD CARE FOR IT. Shoving a bunch of kids crying for their parents on screen aint gonna cut it for everyone, my good men. Show us what their life was like, what they were gonna miss. At least like a part so the flashbacks in their training felt a bit foreshadowed and connects to what we saw to the first ep to make it a little more memorable. (i am losing brain power fast, so im not sure if this makes any good sense)

The thing with Ares, Akane, and Nosaka got me curious. The Inakuni has potential. Haizuki's funny. I kind of like his development. Also I love Endou's civilian fit when he made his first appearance. Idk i just fell in love with it. (give him back his melanin pls) Kozoumaru's interesting, especially his connection with Gouenji (dude helps out a kid in every timeline). Hiura's supposed to be like a detective, right? Let him be more detective-y. Goujin's funny. He has a little charm to him. Mansaku and Michinari are interesting, especially their family dynamics. I love Iwato and Hattori's relationship. They're cute. Who is Okuiri Hiro? I love Norika's personality (it's a personal favorite thing). I think her backstory and home life are interesting. Hiyori's cute and I like him. He's silly. Coach Zhao is Coach Zhao. (this man is a war criminal) I like the new managers. She's silly and Anna's nice.

I'm gonna save Asuto (Bug Boy) for another post.

23. favorite friendship(s)/characer dynamic(s): i don't really have favorites regarding this! since i feel like most of the friendship are very good but i'll just list those i like particularly. first off shindou and ibuki pleaseee the development they had.. and happy that i'm not bothered by it being seen as romantic because i would be dead now *clears throat* ahem. then we have norika and asuto and i have some silly little headcanons regarding them; i just really like how those of inakuni raimon were friends (this including obviously norika and asuto too) even before the story starts.. which has a lot of potential imo. another reason is that they're just very fun together + sorry this is canon only in my head but i just know norika and tsunami would be besties i have an au just for that okay

25. favorite protagonist(s): tenma. because tenma yknow? endou had impact on me almost as much as tenma but he's just very silly and i like the go series more than the og soo. as for asuto, sometimes i genuinely forget he's supposed to be the areori protagonist while unmei could be a close 2nd? we'll see when victory road releases but he stands out because all the protagonist are like "sakka yarouze!" with tenma being the most passionate (? he is projecting okay) while unmei literally hates football < this also makes bullying him easier he's a loser to me

Another grand idea I’ve had for victory road (hire me Hino)

During the post game of VR, I think there should be a level 99 competition route, similar to the one in Chrono Stones.

For those who don’t know the Level 99 route in CS was rematches with all the final teams from previous seasons/games (except the emperors because they forgot to add Nishigaki) and the route I have in mind is very similar, but instead of another final boss route, what about an Inazuma route? Rematches against all the Raimon teams from the past.

But I don’t wanna stop there, I’ve got an idea in mind for their item drops too, this is gonna be another post which goes on for a long time but you guys are probably used to this by now.

not to rant about areori, but since it's been on my mind lately, my brain has thought of a potential rewrite thingy.

basically it all boils down to me hating how the original cast was handled in areori (orion specifically) and how poorly set up some new characters were. like my main gripe about that is with inakuni raimon and nishikage.

first thing i'd change abt areori is to just to minimize the involvement of the original cast. keep them as reinforcement committe members, but like make their role in the plot just that and nothing else. bcs it gets really annoying in orion. with the way certain characters had their whole personality stripped away from them and/ or were rendered completely useless bcs of plot reasons. like shirou and tatsuya literally had their personalities shredded while saginuma, fudou and gouenji took such a fat l, that it made me want to gouge my eyes out.

now for like the new characters, most of them are so bland. like i'm talking i can't even remember your design or name bland. inakuni raimon got handled even worse than og and go raimon, at least those two had characters do shit and you could get attached to them. but inakuni raimon is literally nothing. like i couldn't tell you anything about most of them, cuz they're just there to fill space and nothing else.

and then there's like nishikage and kozoumaru ... they're umm handled like bad. ughh kozoumaru could have been so cool!! if only they kept his original design in orion and actually gave him a character arc (i'm not counting that bear shit, fuck you). he started out as a gouenji fanboy, copied his moves and generally just looked up a lot to him. but like in orion he literally becomes a reskin and idk goes beast mode as a power up, literally sacrificing every other sorta interesting part about his character for a pending impersonation lawsuit.

ughhh there's nishikage, who's just wasted potential. he could have been actually interesting, but instead they made his whole character nosaka. genuinely i think if the writers put more thought into his character, we could have gotten a character who went from just being a bodyguard to his own person.

idk i feel like areori in general suffers from having way too many characters with little to no development and not enough character arcs, as well as a very confusing plot (orion mostly). and those really drive people away from getting invested into the story

bitch i DESPISE how inakuni raimon won against eisei by the power of being the main characters and not because they deserved it xdddd

Random opinion #6, 'cause IE ares was disapointing and it makes me sad😢 (part 5) :

6. Also justice for Teikoku (although it is not as bad as zeus in the anime) : okay, i am really not a fan of Kageyama returning at Teikoku while he should be in jail. But kinda liked the fact that Teikoku vs Inakuni was Teikoku pov. Here the proposition : after Kidou's departure, Sakuma took the captaincy as it is shown in the anime. However, Sakuma realizes he has to live up to Teikoku's reputation, that he will be compared to Kidou while he isn't as smart, that he never took the leadership ever in his life and doesn't know how to do that, and that he will have to rebuild Teikoku's soccer without the influence of Kageyama and the strategies of Kidou. Sakuma ends up to reach for Kidou's help, but Kidou being sent to Seishou as reinforcement comitee, best he can do is advice. Kidou tells Sakuma he needs to learn to observe people, opponents and teammates especially, strategies will follow up. He gives Sakuma homeworks to train his observation and advice he should ask Genda to assist (as gk, he is in a better place to see all the people in the field while Sakuma as a forward is in the middle of the chaos). Sakuma and Genda begin their training, but it's hard 'cause Sakuma has to cope with the fact he is impatient. To make the matter worse, Fudou, a new recruit, takes pleasure to cause dramas within the team. Arrives Kazemaru at Teikoku as reinforcement comitee "hello guys, I'm Kazemaru and i am here to teach you the "raimon's spirit" way of sakka, are you ready?". Teikoku laughs and Kazemaru cries internally. He will end up helping Sakuma and Genda on their quest to be more observant. They realize that if Fudou can cause mass chaos without violence, he must be very observant. So they kidnap Fudou and interrogate him to know how he does it. Teikoku manage to win some matches, even tho it ain't it yet, and arrives Teikoku vs inakuni. During this match, several flashback of Teikoku's training montage happen, directly following by irl situations where they use their practices. Despite all of that, Inakuni turns out being harder than expected so Teikoku resorts to take risks in hope to surprise them and being able to witness some weakness. They failed to do that in time as they lose. However, Sakuma seems to have understand the meaning of life and Kidou is proud of him. But he forgets that the following day 😇

I like the Inakuni team, but they shouldn't have been a version of Raimon.

Hiyori dan yang lain menyambut mereka kembali. Yone-san memasakkan makan malam dan mereka berbincang senang, dan Asuto pun senang, lalu Norika bilang ia merindukan lautan dan kapten bilang ia merindukan lapangan mereka yang dihias kesederhanaan.

Asuto tidak punya apa-apa lagi di Inakuni. Yang ia punya hanyalah memori.

Asuto bilang ia akan tinggal. Sampai kapan—Goujin-senpai tanya, ia jawab sampai semua selesai.

Hiura tidak tahu apa maksudnya itu. Ia ragu Asuto sendiri tahu apa maksud perkataannya itu.

Yang Hiura, dan yang lainnya, tahu, adalah bahwa jika mereka pulang, Asuto akan sendirian. Endou-san dan yang lain memang akan menyambutnya hangat, tapi Asuto sudah cukup memakan duka dan tangisan yang tidak tertumpahkan bulat-bulat. Endou Mamoru dan sepak bola akan memberikannya pelukan hangat, tapi rasa kehilangan yang Asuto tahan hanya akan terbendung—dan ada waktunya bendungan akan meluap.

Ketika hal itu tiba, hanya Hiura dan teman-teman pulaunya yang akan memahaminya. Inamori Yuriko tidak meninggal hanya begitu saja. Hiura dan yang lainnya adalah anak-anaknya juga.

Hari demi hari berlalu, dan Hiura mulai mempertimbangkan hipotesisnya kembali. Klub sepak bola Raimon kini punya dua kali lipat anggota utama, dan Hiura rasa Asuto tenggelam semakin dalam dalam bendungan yang dibangunnya sendiri. Ia tidak pernah membicarakan Inamori Yuriko, Shinjou Takuma, Vladimir, dan apapun itu yang terjadi di Rusia. Asuto menganggapnya tidak pernah terjadi... tapi mereka yang lainnya mengalami liga dunia dengan mata dan kaki mereka sendiri. Mereka tahu hal-hal tersebut terjadi, dan kadangkala Orion dan Rusia dan keluarga akan masuk ke dalam pembicaraan dan Inamori Asuto akan menghilang.

Ia akan ada di sana dan mendengarkan dan menyahut sekali-sekali di sana-sini, tapi Hiura tahu kasus ini mengarah hanya pada satu hal: Inamori Asuto mati.

in my head i live in a beautiful world where inakuni didnt have to go to raimon to save their club (ridiculous). they were fine just playing on their island and watching the big tournament from afar since they didnt have the money to participate and its their pure love of soccer that moves that one guy to sponsor them so they get a chance to spread that love in the big event.

i want it to be their thing theyre not the focus of my ares game thingy but i want their pure love and enjoyment of the game to be their distinctive characteristic esp as opposed to nosaka and haizaki. but i dont want them to be righteous about it. just like how they moved their sponsor, i want that simple love to move the hearts of others like haizaki and inspire them to pursue playing for themselves as well. i want asuto to be the bright, shining light hes meant to be for haizaki by simply being his sunny self!

Inazuma eleven ares switch

The building and character model were changed from the more realistic scale, seen in the early development of Ares no Tenbin and AC games, to the smaller scale and less detailed, similar to GO games. The video contains some new in-development footage of the game with several major characters from all three series appear in the background. The game was expected to release in 2021.Īfter one year with no update on the game, on April 2nd, 2021, Hino posted an update video on his blog. The story will focus on the new protagonist, Sasanami Unmei, a soccer-loving boy with a mental trauma which makes him unable to play soccer, who decided to join Raimon's soccer club as a manager after he met Endou Mamoru. Windflower are super pretty, they mean honestity, love, cheerfullness and protection, It’s also said that the first Windflower was a nymph that was turned flower. So I think they fit Norika a lot (and also the fact that the other name, Anemone is also a sea creature).

I like a lot how this one turned out, despite the fact I can’t take good photos of the colours (I’m using iridiscent watercolors). I used this hair style because I don’t like the one from Orion, she had a super beautifull hair and was a pity they cut it saying the lie of the long hair while Terumi and Kazemaru were in the same Team.
