My Eyes Fall Shut (and my Heart Loves You Again)
Tumblr media
୨୧ Pantalone x F!Reader
Reader experiences memory loss after an unspecified event and lands herself in a room under the care of Baizhu before a certain Harbinger pays her a visit.
A small peek from one of my Pantalone drafts ! Still a work in progress but wanted to share this small snippet with someone 🫶 Notes and reblogs are always appreciated! Not beta read
The gentleness of silk and cloth devoured your figure, your body laid in a comfortable mattress. The aroma of tea filled your senses as your eyes fluttered open.
The crowned ceiling greets you first as your focus shifts around the room, your sight lays on a green-haired bespectacled man that seemed to be accompanied by an ivory snake. Your head suddenly felt heavy as an unexpected weight gave you a crushing headache. Your being felt numb,
"Ah! Miss, you're awake." The man smiled, his voice was pleasant and soothing. "Qiqi, kindly fetch me her documents, please." He asked the girl who seemed like a child beside him. She quietly nodded and showed herself out.
You hoisted yourself up, your back resting on the wooden headboard behind you. The physician—you assumed, reached out to help you get comfortable on the mattress.
You slightly flinched, every nerve in your body felt sensitive. You didn't know where you were, you didn't know him. Your mind told you to be defensive.
"Miss Y/N?" He seemed confused.
You completely brushed past the foreign name, was it supposed to be yours? Was he talking to you or somebody else? But nobody was in the room other than you and him. The name, it felt unfamiliar in your head.
"I'm truly sorry for asking but do you know where I am?" you mumbled, eyes shifting around once again.
You winced hearing a knock on the bamboo door of your room, the knob turned and the entry opened to reveal the child from earlier, holding a few pieces of paper.
"Dr. Baizhu, here are the documents you asked for." Qiqi said softly, her small fingers handing the items to the doctor.
Baizhu promptly thanked Qiqi. As he did so, another person followed into the room. The man had long deep bluish black hair, eyes with violet hues that burned through transparent glasses adorned with chains. A black sleeveless bodysuit fit his figure paired with matching coloured pants and shoes. Dark gloves decorated his hands with silver rings around most fingers. His scent subtly filled the room—a soft vanilla and floral scent.
His eyes lingered on you for a while, slightly widened as if it was a surprise you were alive and breathing.
When he spoke, it was a gentle baritone, though something put you off about him. You weren't sure what it was but it sent shivers down your spine despite the room having a typically warmer temperature.
"Ah. The Regrator. I assume you came to visit our patient here? You're usually not this late every day, no?" Baizhu forced a smile at him, even if you didn't know him all that well, you could tell how his features tensed up and tightened in the other's presence.
"I had some business to take care of. You know the responsibilities of heading Northland Bank." The "Regrator" mirrored the same smile. Their similarities were uncanny. His gaze suddenly turned to you, to which it was your turn to tense up. "How is she?"
"There's no need to rush, Harbinger. After all, she had only woken up a few minutes ago. You're free to stay idle while I observe her though." He replied, gesturing to the spot behind him which would give the other man access to see you properly.
Baizhu then turned to you, his gentleness never wavering.
"How do you feel? I suggest that you answer with honesty since I'm observing something different, behavior-wise."
Your nails dug into your skin, prints of crescents were printed in your skin with a slightly redder color. You felt faint, mind drawing to a blank as you scrambled for an answer to put into words. Alas, you remained silent for a few seconds before opening your mouth to speak.
"Pardon me, I'd address you as Dr. Baizhu, yes?"
The green-haired man simply nodded, a gentle smile still on his face. The man behind him though, the Regrator, his face a little dimmer than when he came in. His lips were turned into a visible purse.
"Yes. I suppose I'm doing alright… I awoke with a light migraine. I'm not sure how I ended up here, I do not have a recall of past events… I think. In fact, I wasn't sure you were talking to me earlier. Ah— I'm really sorry, I must've rambled about nonsensical things."
"No, no, no, dear. It's alright. Thank you for being honest." Baizhu nodded as he scribbled a few notes on the document that was brought in prior to the observation. Baizhu then turned to the bespectacled man behind him as Qiqi stepped forward to offer you some herbal tea. You thanked her, picking up the small cup, the warmth spreading from the tea to your skin. When your lips met the rim, a mild flavor of sweet grass entered. It was sugary but not too much. It was just right.
You eavesdropped on the two men's conversation about your condition, though you couldn't hear that much coherently. As you tried to observe what their expressions were, the Regrator shared a glance at you, eyebrows furrowed with eyes full of longing expressions. As if your condition was the most terrible thing that could have ever happened in the history of Teyvat. The ever-so-stoic (or so you assumed) Regrator's icy aura cracked under your unknowing gaze.

Why Do We Love ...
Tina Aumont
Tina Aumont didn't came into our life when we were child just like Shannen Doherty or Drew Barrymore did; she even wasn't a teenage idol just as Jane Asher or Pattie Boyd; Tina Aumont she came a bit later in life like Bebe Buell or Demri Parrott.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in Home Movie, autour du lit de la Vierge, directed by Frédéric Pardo, 1968]
We first knew about Tina by watching the documentary Nico Icon (Suzanne Ofteringer, 1995) where she was interviewed about her friend Nico. We watched that doc because we liked Nico, we felt Nico was very different from the 60s muses, we found her mysterious and unique and we wante dto know more about her, and by our surprise, a very beautiful dark-haired woman was there talking.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in Nico-Icon documentary directed by Suzanne Ofteringer, 1995]
This beautiful dark-haired woman was an actress who was 49 years old and looking great, and she was friend of Nico in the late 60s. Looking that beautiful in her late 40s, we were curious about how did she looked when she was young, so we decided to google her and to our surprise, very beautiful photos came as a result of that search. We love her naturallity, her dark hair and her heavy make-up around her eyes, and her hippie looks, of course!!
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont pictured by Angelo Frontoni in Spring 1968]
We didn't know anything about her so we decided to googled her, and by our surprise, she didn't have any website and we found it a little weird because we discovered that she was a famous actress in the 60s and 70s mainly in Italy, but also she was daughter of two great superstars.
We started to save the photos we saw on google, we started to make some screencaps from her films and then we start buying some clippings & magazines we found on ebay with the purpose to make a site for her as a tribute, for honouring her memory.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in Home Movie, autour du lit de la Vierge, directed by Frédéric Pardo, 1968]
We started to build (yes, build) a Facebook page for her, with all the photos we were collecting, and also we started a tumblr because we saw someone was sharing the photos we posted without crediting our effort (a las, the never ending story!)... the facebook we had was becoming very big, with more than thousand followers, people were sharing memories, stories, it was very beautiful, but one day facebook shut down our page for containing nudity.
We had to start everything again...
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont pictured in 1968, unknown photographer]
We created a new facebook, called Tina Aumont Tribute, and we started again to share our passion for this great creative girl, at first it was a very slow start, but little by little, more people liked the page, and we got really surprised when a couple of Tina's friends liked it, and one of them even told us, several times that he's very happy that we keep her memory alive. Through instagram (although we don't have any profile for her), we have contacted several photohraphers, who are glad to share their pics and who have helped us to credit them in some photos.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont pictured early-mid December 1967 at her home, unknown photographer]
We found Tina had a very exotic and unique beauty, she loved Eastern culture, she was a hippie chick when she was really young and she lived with very creative people during the happiest days of her life. Sadly not everything was beautiful; as we were buying more magazines about her and sharing her photos, darker stories came, in the mid 70s she was a heavy heroin user, her step mother didn't treat her well in her childhood and teen years, and she married a friend of her dad just to runaway from that life. She got pregnant but the baby didn't survive...
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in L'Uomo, L'Orgoglio, La Vendetta, directed by Luigi Bazzoni, 1967]
Thanks to the tumblr site but mainly to our facebook site for her, three really interesting people contacted us, one was Andrea Montez, a Peruvian girl who shared our passion for Tina and who shared lots of rare photos of Tina with us, we are happy to call us friends; the other person who contacted us was an Italian girl who made great videos with rare footage from Pierre Clementi & Frédéric Pardo's home movies and she sent us her screencaps, always sharing with much love and respect towards Tina; and the third person we met was a French writer who asked for some collaboration as he was writing a biography about Tina Aumont. We were really excited!! We exchanged photos, some stories and lots of knowledge came through him. He worked really hard on that book (Waiting for Tina, à la recherce de Tina Aumont) and he has a page for her on facebook called as the book. He is very active in poetry conventions and he is promoting the book in different festivals.

Here we share:

What do you think pardosentihua would get eachother for Christmas? Like Pardo has rvery trinket imaginable at this point, so its both "she has everything already" and also "she'd be happy with anything shiny" hahaha
Sob! Cute ask.... Felis really would just like to spend time with her loved ones as a present. Maybe they would do something she enjoys that she doesn't get to rope them in often. (see: probably anything that has to do with slumber parties lol. no one is safe from bad nail art, failed 'how to do a fishtail braid' honkaitube tutorials or makeup in general). She would probably enjoy anything regarding food and just to be an annoyingly cuddly cat for just one night, at least.
Senti would be a tough choice but I think she would be pleased with something handmade from either of them. Just a small trinket of appreciation, because let's be real she's not into big acts of affection. But she will too allow herself one day to receive as much physical contact / affection as possible to stock up and return back to being a grouchy "i dont need no hugs" Herrscher (she will be getting the hugs anyway)
Hua is probably very simple in terms of getting gifts for, anything that reminds her of home would probably work. Definitely cherishes memory making and being around her loved ones most. Felis likes to journal all throughout the year and take pictures so I assume she would make a very nice card collage for Hua to remember all their fun times and reminisce about them.
I hope these made sense somewhat !!! theyre so 🥺

Well, I made it past one generation. As a voluntarily unmedicated ADHDer, I am simply shocked! To not break the flow of the content I've kept my thoughts mostly in tags, but I think I want to ramble a little bit once in a while, maybe at the start of each generation for anyone who's interested in thought process stuff!
One of the many rules I am respectfully modifying from the original challenge is the concept of male heirs only pre-1920s - we're close enough, with Olivia turning 18 in 1916 - but more than that, this first generation was special!
@agentoctosims and I have collaborated on Theodore and Talia for many years, and one of the things we've worked out in that time is their children, i.e. the fact they have 4, and their essential appearances and personalities. Beauregard, in my mind, has always been firmly aroace, and I wanted to honor that about him. Same with little Sulien, who will grow up and realize he is gay. Therefore this first gen... was kind of rigged from the start to not have a 'viable' male heir. And the wildcard of Olivia having a quietly spirited and ambitious (unplanned!) cousin Laurie has given her a life path that I didn't expect, that I think lends itself beautifully to an heir's story.
Aside from that as well, I know and @agentoctosims has told me how deeply Theo would regret having 'ruined' Talia's life. Talia has lived through many incarnations and universes, and to be perfectly honest, being stuck at home having kids and never seeing the world outside of Brindleton Bay is a bleak AU for her to be in. I usually have her casting spells, scaling mountains, becoming famous and exploring every continent - the life she led in this challenge is not true to her heart, and it's quite sad. I think I let myself be too influenced by how other people interpreted and started their Decades challenges, and in retrospect, I would have started her off more like herself - adventuring somewhere in Selvadorada, Victorian puff sleeves and all, and meeting Theodore through some unbelievable meet-cute abroad.
So, that being said, to be true to who Theo is as a father, he simply wouldn't be able to not give his daughters as many opportunities as his sons and encourage them to fly free in the way he feels his wife couldn't fly free. In that vein, I think of Joaquin Sorolla and his painting of his daughter - "Maria Painting in El Pardo" - and how he painted it after she recovered from tuberculosis enough to come out and paint with him again for the first time after her illness, one that absolutely could have taken her life. He turned his easel and chair in her direction, and memorialized that his little grown up apprentice was painting with him once more. Perhaps there was a time he thought they might not get that chance again. It moved me very deeply to learn that and see the painting in person. There have always been fathers in history who have poured their love and skill and ambitions into their daughters.
I hope to post more young modern Theo and Talia on this blog if it doesn't break the decades flow too badly? I've been chipping away at different AUs and appearances for them and they still remain one of my greatest inspirations. I don't regret using them to get my feet wet and slowly experiment with CC, Reshade, mods, etc in TS4, but their stories can be much better told now!
We'll see what tragedies Olivia discovers in the next 25 years! I am kicking myself a little that I made such a long goddamn family name, and it's going to go away within 1 generation, but... oh well :')

Cochren & Co Shares “Running Home” Ahead Of Sophomore Album
Gotee Records’ Cochren & Co. released their debut album, Don’t Lose Hope, two years ago to much acclaim and radio airplay. Helmed by singer/songwriter and worship leader Michael Cochren joined by his wife Leah, Cochren & Co. is back with a strong sophomore offering, Running Home, which will release on February 3rd. The 10-song project features hope-filled lyrics and timeless melodies as Cochren & Co. blurs the line between American pop/rock and soul/blues to create a classic sound all their own. Today fans can hear the title track “Running Home” as well as pre-order the new album here and watch the lyric video below. “This album is all about running into the arms of God,” shares Michael Cochren, frontman for Cochren & Co. “It’s my story, but I also believe it’s the story of anyone who has found themselves far from home spiritually. We’ve all heard the saying there’s no place like home. When I think of what ‘home’ means, I think of comfort, rest, safety, and love. When we go off looking for these things in the broken world, we will never find them. Ultimately, we only find what we need when we return to our loving God.”
Tumblr media
The album’s energetic title track is also currently being played on Sirius XM and is the only song from a Christian & Gospel artist this week to be featured in the global New Music Friday playlist from Spotify, a playlist featuring songs from all genres with more than four million listeners. “Running Home” was co-written by Matthew West and Jeff Pardo, as well as also produced by Pardo (2022 Dove Awards Producer of the Year). Additional producers for the project include Chris Stevens (Gloria Gaynor), Kyle Williams (We Are Messengers) and David Leonard (All Sons & Daughters). He continues, “The title track is an anthem declaring, I’m done running away, I’m running home! And for my story, in my wandering years when it became more and more clear that the things I was using to fill my emptiness were really making me more empty, like the prodigal son, I began feeling a draw on my heart to return to my spiritual home. Yet I had this fear in my mind that God was just waiting for me in anger, to punish me. But that’s not how the parable ends… the father runs to greet the son, throws a robe around his back, a ring on his finger, a kiss on his cheek, and then they throw a party for him! I received this welcome from God, and that’s the welcome that’s waiting for anyone who says: I’m done running away, I’m running home!” https://youtu.be/NK1AkCEHkZQ Cochren & Co.’s sophomore project features the 2022 Top 15 Billboard Christian Airplay & AC radio single, “Thank God For Sunday Morning,” which has amassed over 10 million streams in less than a year. This song was highlighted on K-LOVE’s end-of-the-year charts including “22 Songs that Defined 2022” and “Top 30 Songs of 2022.” The album includes already released songs “The Lows” and “Good Memories,” which have each received multiple playlisting features. Running Home also features guest vocalist Josh Baldwin on the song “The Final Say.” Cochren & Co. will be back again this year on the upcoming 2023 TobyMac Hits Deep Tour that will also feature CROWDER, Tasha Layton, Jon Reddick and Terrian. The tour kicks off on January 26th. Click here for tour dates and tickets. Read the full article

A year later the V.I. moved back to its present site in Colon Street, Cebu City.
As  early  as  its  founding,  the  V.I.  had  pioneered  in  education  innovations  to provide  equal  education  opportunities  for  those  who  have  the  capability  and  the desire  for  improving  themselves.  It  was  the  first  to  conduct  night  school  class  for working  students  in  Cebu  City  in  the  1940s.  The  “study  now  pay  later  plan”  had been  a  practice  at  the  V.I.  long  before  it  was  adopted  by  the  Department  of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) in the 1980s.
In  1948,  the  Visayan  Institute  was  awarded  university  status,  the  first  to become a university in Cebu, and was renamed the University of the Visayas. Since then the expansion in its baccalaureate and post graduate course offerings and in its physical  facilities  has  been  phenomenal.  From  an  initial  enrollment  of  37  students the V.I. evolved into a university with an enrollment of 20,000 distributed throughout its campuses. Its alumni have distinguished themselves in government service and public  administration,  and  in  the  professions  of  law,  engineering  and  architecture, pharmacy,   medicine,   nursing,   education,   criminology,   maritime   and   nautical, computer studies as well as in sports and the arts.

Tina Aumont can be sentenced to several years in prison (II/II)
Rome, by Gina Vecchi
"I'VE GOT RID OF THE WORLD OF DRUGS"
There was a time when Tina Aumont was involved in a drug deal. The actress tells us:
- For three consecutive years I have been a slave to drugs, not today. I have completely rid myself of such a vice. I admit to those who take drugs, but I try to prevent them from doing so. I had a very bad time at the time when I was addicted.
- What does the producer Fabrizio Lori - with whom you have been living for just over a year - mean in your life, ?
- He has helped me a lot. Thanks to him I was able to enter a detox clinic. I said, "Please, if you love me, take me in; I want to be a normal person." He took me to a hospital and now I am a new woman. Fabrizio is a wonderful boy. I don't know if one day I will marry him; At the moment I feel very comfortable, very happy at his side.
- What memories do you have of the seven years you spent with the painter Frédéric Pardo?
- That is a closed chapter that I would not try to open for anything in the world.
- Tina, do drugs solve anything?
- The drug solves, apparently, at first, the existential crisis. Then you see that everything is a lie and that it is actually a vice that little by little is annihilating you. A friend dissuaded me from my concept of freedom because of drugs, and taught me that with them you lose the will and the will to live. I listened to him... and I'm recovered!
Today however, perhaps out of love, perhaps out of companionship, she appears before the judges accused of providing 200 grams of opium to her lover.
- You have freed yourself from drugs, but do you really feel like a free woman?
- Yes; I have always been a free woman, essentially free...
- Have you been able to do much more in the cinema than what you have done?
- Undoubtedly. But the artist proposes and the occasions dispose. Undoubtedly, sometimes, due to my anarchist philosophy, I have wasted my time on things that are too trivial.
Tina Aumont at the prison gates. The drug in Italy is very penalized. Will the judges patronize her? Let's wait for them to say their last word.

1st - Green Thumb AE because it’s short and already over.
2nd- Green Thumb OG which will be going into the winter solider and falcon series. I originally left it as an open ending where you guys could’ve chosen whether y/n goes to Wanda or Bucky + Sam but before I ran out of motivation I was gonna go with Bucky and Sam.
3rd- The 100 fic will be 3rd purely cause it’s 100 fucking episodes and seven seasons. BUT because this fic series will take me forever to finish, I’ll be doing another fic series alongside it.
That brings me to my next point, what fic series would you guys like to see alongside the 100 one? I’ve got a few in my drafts waiting to be written and posted. Please give me an answer or else I’ll go with whichever one I feel like and it might not be the one you want.

In Madrid I use the word “electric” to describe so many amazing things that it’s starting to feel like one of those words you say over and over again until it feels made up. I think what I’m really trying to describe is just this alive, energetic feeling the city gives me. Even during our taxi drive in from atocha, both of us exhausted and ready to crash, I was overcome by this buzzing, happy feeling. I love Madrid.
Here are some pics of us on our train voyage and finally chilling at the hotel post-travel. The hotel gave us these violet candies which are apparently traditional in Madrid, & JF is a big fan. I decidedly dislike them but also can’t stop eating them so no verdict yet :)

While we are not in this location for long (just enough time to visit a new doctor and hopefully get this yeso off!! And onto a boot), we have had a phenomenal time so far. Today, we took advantage of our fully free day and started off by visiting the Prado. We walked around for hours, and JF found his new all-time favorite painting: Landscape at El Pardo mists rising. Looking very cultural and artsy in Madrid - checked off the list.
Tumblr media
After the Prado, we grabbed lunch and made our way up the hill to El Retiro park. We were in the park for a bit before police announced it was closed, so we made our way back to the hotel to get some AC on this hot day. When the sun started to set, we got a taxi to the Plaza Mayor and ate paella while looking onto the huge plaza. I’m so happy we got to eat dinner there because it takes me back to my first real night in Spain with my friends, when we started to get to know each other and Spain and begin the adventure! Now I have another fun memory in Plaza Mayor with JF which makes it even better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We also decided to scooter back to our hotel later in the night to people watch and see new squares and plazas lit up. That was DEFINITELY electric. It has been such a wonderful day of us joking around and successfully seeing the city, and now I can’t wait to go to sleep! It’s awesome to be sharing this all with JF, too.

Week 2 Blog
Love in the Time of Cholera, Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Pages Read:40-90
Word Count:438
Summary:
Before Jeremiah Saint-Amour’s funeral, Dr, Juvernal Urbino and his wife Fermina Daza suffered from a gigantic fire that causes their parrot to escaped from their home. Desperate from finding his best friend, Dr. Urbino started this adventure looking for his pet until he finds it outside their home in the tree that is next their residence. He tries to climb up the tree when he losses his balance and fells to mud causing him an instant death. Due to this accident many people from their community tries to pay tribute for Dr. Urbino’s work for his community, however his wife Fermina Daza prefers to have a private ceremony between family and friends. During Dr. Urbino’s funeral, Daza sees a particular figure between all the people attending the funeral; this figure is from her first love Florentino Ariza; which only motive to be presence in that place is to confess his “Everlasting Love” to Fermina despite being apart from her 51 years ago.
 Critical Analysis:
It is hard to compare loving someone with loosing someone, and it is definitely even harder to live these two situations in a short amount period of time, the quote: “It had not been easy for her to regain her self-control after she heard Digna Pardo’s shriek in the patio and found the old man of her life dying in the mud” reflects how sometimes death can take us the people we love in the most unexpected ways ,and the inner conflict you experienced once you aware that as much as you try to convince yourself a miracle could happen, they are not coming back. I think these emotions are well reflected on Fermina Daza’s actions, during this chapter she experiences different phases of grief from denial to acceptance and what makes her more stronger to face these difficulties is the love Dr. Urbino had for her and for spending a peaceful life together, although not everything can be as you expect.
Personal Response:
I’m intrigued about Florentino Ariza’s situation because according to the book, Fermina Daza and him had a shared past where it was projected before Dr. Urbino existence in Daza’s life, it is shown as almost a toxic relationship which although it happened 51 years ago; keeps vividly persistent in Ariza’s memories, I wonder if Daza will give him another chance now they are both adults with mature mentalities rather the 18 year old teenagers they used to be. And I also wonder about the motives of Ariza’s side to never give up on his feelings toward Fermina despite having a wife and children. Why he decides to confess his everlasting love during her husband’s funeral?

The Most Spectacular Roads In Spain And Portugal To Travel By Motorcycle
Tumblr media
Since he got his driving license, Pedro Pardo (Bilbao, 1952) has always lived close to the recognizable purr of a motorcycle. With the last one -for now- he traveled from Vejer de la Frontera (Cádiz) to Madrid, round trip, a few days ago. With many others he has traveled Spain and Europe, curve by curve, the further away from the motorways the better. This traveler, historical director of Anaya Touring and journalist, says that he knows nothing about the Motorcycle World Championship and very little about mechanics, but his eyes and his body know almost everything about the emotion of two wheels on the asphalt.
Tumblr media
Pedro Pardo has written a good number of books on this way of traveling, among them 'España en moto', which is in its eleventh edition. And now 'The best roads to travel on a motorcycle. Spain and Portugal '(geoPlaneta). “This book - he affirms - is the result of more than twenty thousand kilometers under way, and of the notes that I have always been taking. It is not a travel guide, but a road guide. And, more specifically, of secondary roads. “Highways are the opposite of traveling by motorcycle. We motorcyclists hate motorways, ”he says emphatically.
This new book thoroughly examines 320 sections of roads in Spain and Portugal, and gives a star to 82 of those routes that, in his opinion, have a degree of excellence determined by four variables: the curves, the good condition of the asphalt, which have little traffic and that the environment is attractive. From north to south, including the islands. All recovered from his memory and from his notebooks. «I have traveled a lot with my wife, but I am a lone motorist. I don't belong to any club. What's more, I would say that the motorcycle is a very lonely experience, with your thoughts tucked under the helmet ». With the guide in hand, we have asked Pedro Pardo for a selection of his five favorite road sections, those in which he has been happiest or, in any case, those that have remained most fixed in his memory. The Sierra de la Tramontana, in Mallorca. 162 km. «The most wonderful route that exists in Spain. It goes into the high mountains, over huge cliffs, and then goes down to sea level, "he says on the phone. As he had already written in the book: «This is the most fascinating route of all that can be traveled by motorcycle in the whole country (with permission for some sections on the island of Tenerife)». Pardo cites two anthological sections, the port of Valldemosa (half a dozen kilometers along a tiny road, suspended in the void, and La Calobra, "perhaps the most photogenic stretch of the Spanish road network". Port of Somiedo. 79 km. "It is perhaps my favorite stretch of mountain," he says. The route goes from Leiguarda (Asturias) to Piedrafita de Babia (León), and "crosses one of the best-preserved areas of the entire mountain range", the Somiedo Natural Park. Vizcaya coast. 72 km. "It is one of the stretches of coast that I like the most because you are constantly seeing the sea," he says. Along the way there are 'cliffs, beaches, inlets, estuaries, charming fishing ports, some of the most picturesque villages in the Basque Country. Sections such as those that separate Lequeitio from Elantxove or Bakio from Plentzia are essential, such as the area of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe ». Sierra de Grazalema. 191 km. "Almost all the roads on this route run through the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park... There are a handful of mountain passes that are among the most exciting in southern Spain." Among them, the port of Las Palomas, El Boyar, Galis. "The A. 3204, which joins Zahara de la Sierra and Morón de la Frontera, zigzags through the Sierra de Líjar. And the CA-6108 is a lonely road that follows the perimeter of the Guadalcacín blue water reservoir ». Setúbal Bay. 50 km. "This is my preferred option in Portugal," he explains. "From Cape Espichel to Setúbal there are 37 km of a road that follows the coastline... It is an exceptional journey, one of the most exciting in Portugal for motorcyclists." [ jd pardo, cis man, he/him, thirty eight ] Wanted, dead or alive is [ mateo acosta ]. They are a [ bar owner/manager ] who have been in New York City for [ six years ]. They are affiliated with [ the syndicate ] and serves them as a [ soldier ]. People say they are [ loyal ] and [ empathetic ] but their enemies would say they are [ forgetful ] and [ neurotic ]. They are described as [  empty beer bottles, bags under his eyes, worn out boots ].
PTSD tw, alcohol tw, injury tw, scars tw
Mateo’s been in the city for six years after honorably getting discharged for PTSD from the Marines. He enlisted when he was eighteen rather than going to college. His parents always encouraged him to follow his passions which led him to going to a local recruiter from his home town of San Antonio, Texas.
After his stint in the Marines, he decided to move to New York for a fresh start. He had too many awful memories overseas (getting injured from an explosion being one of them) which left a scar on his shoulder.
With the money that his dad left him, Mateo started a bar called Hell Club. His bar is usually filled with locals rather than tourists since most wouldn’t consider it the most fancy place. But it at least has an A rating from the health inspector.
Mateo especially likes to hire ex-convicts to work, knowing that it will help with readjusting to society.
He is a soldier for The Syndicate. He loves to get his hands dirty and has been part of the association since 2018.
