SHDUFKSEHDBDKSS Well if I’m allowed to choose more, I’m gonna!

(Loved the hair one, I don’t have curly hair, but I somehow got the always-messy look too, except when shaved, and it’s so relatable!)

I would love to hear about Hourglass, Mourning Dove, and Vengeance and Ghosts Jason! (If that’s too much at once, just mourning dove?)

I won’t ask for more because other people should get a chance, but they all looked so good!

Honestly, I don't even have anything for hourglass other than a phrase, but I can tell you it was going to be a(nother) mind-control fic, but more in line with the original persuasion because im not super satisfied with it. I'm contemplating not completing it since I/ve writing/written go for the throat.

but the other two!

mourning dove was an olllldddd time-travel concept! And Vengeance was...I think based off a tumblr post about ghosts and vengeance (hence the weird wip title)

mourning dove:

The Joker dies on an otherwise unremarkable Tuesday morning. The sun rises. No one can see it past the perpetual fog that blankets Gotham this late into fall. People go about their business. And the Joker is found dead on the steps of the Gotham City Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit. Commissioner Gordan finds it – that wide, grotesque smile very, very carefully…shot off. Like someone had stuck a gun in the clown’s mouth and pulled the trigger. Enough of his face untouched to identify him. The back of his skull blown to bits. Jim covers his eyes with a hand, shoulders quivering, caught somewhere between relieved laughter and horrified laughter. The Joker is dead. The Joker is dead.

vengeance and ghosts

Jason drifts. He plans. He kills. He cleans the streets of Gotham. He taunts and goads Roman Sionis and can just taste that he’s on the edge of cracking. The Bat dogs his heels every night. Both too far and too close. Jason doesn’t sleep. He has to set a timer to eat. His mind moving too fast, hopping days and weeks and backtracking. He can’t lose the plot now. This is only the rising action. The story’s not done. Not yet. Years of training and planning didn’t prepare him for actually being in Gotham. His previous visit – a bomb under the batmobile. Too impersonal. Too revenge driven. This is supposed to be justice – is like a fever dream. And maybe he did have a fever. He came back to Talia, weak-kneed and unable to breathe, lungs constricting, eyes stinging. She’s not his mom. She’ll never be his mom – his mom is Catherine. Not Sheila. Not Talia. Catherine – But there’s still a softness to her that made her gather him up then and murmur poems against his hair until he stopped falling back to that warehouse. The funniest thing is – it’s never the actual warehouse that’s the problem. Not the Joker. Not the crowbar. Not that damn bomb. It’s the smell of nicotine and blond hair. It’s disinterested expression. It’s the betrayal. And he wonders why it hurts so much. He didn’t know her. She was only his mother in blood

Pocket Monsta X - Mom has a Date

A/n: A ‘totally anonymous’ request for how the pockets would react if their mom had a date

In Summary:

jealous babies: wonho, jooheon, hyungwon

protective and wants to go with you: shownu, kihyun

will sneak into your purse and sabotage: minhyuk, im

Shownu:

convinces you to let him go on the date with you

refuses to sit in the purse

needs to have an eye on your date at all times

sits right between you and your date

cross-legged in the middle of the table, arms folded against his chest

sends glares at your date whenever he speaks to you

your date better not even think of trying to hold your hand accross the table

his ears will go red in anger

he WILL get up and forcefully pull your hands apart himself

tells your date to keep his hands to himself

only relaxes once you both are home

burries his face in your shirt, “i don’t like him”

Wonho:

cries when you try to leave

won’t let go of your skirt

you’ll have to get him a babysitter

babysitter won’t know what to do because he just cries the entire time clutching his bunny

nothing will calm him down

putting on Cinderella will help a little bit - it’s his favorite disney movie

because Cinderella takes care of the mice and is nice

he thinks you are his own Cinderella (but prettier)

when you get home he’s all pouty

won’t let go of your finger

“You don’t like him better than me, right mom? I’m still your best boy, right?”

“You’re not gonna leave me for the prince right mommy?”

cheers up when you call him your ‘little prince’

extra cuddly in bed that night

Kihyun:

insists on coming with you on your date

will not take no for an answer

needs to see for himself if he is worthy of you

wears his best suit

thinks it will intimidate your date

has a special bow tie and everything

sits on your shoulder

whispers insults and criticisms into your ear

“He chews funny why did you accept a date with this guy”

“His suit doesn’t even fit, mom. Also this is a crappy restaurant. Let’s go home, I’ll cook for you”

you shush him but you can’t help giggling at some of the things he says

if your date acknowledges him and talks to him too kihyunnie will soften a little bit

if he decides he likes them he will stop criticizing and start humming to himself while you talk to your date

wants to eat off your plate

but also wants you to feed him tastes so he doesn’t get messy

gotta keep that doll suit pristine

will walk over to your date and pace in front of his plate, quizzing him on his multiplication tables

will be thrilled if your date makes a rhyme for him when answering, like “6x8 is oh so great, that’s why the answer is 48″

squeals, then tries to smooth his suit and act unimpressed

but he can’t stop talking about them and their rhyme when you get home

Minhyuk:

sneaks into your purse to sabotage when you go on your date

totally ditches his babysitter when you’re telling her where the emergency numbers are on the fridge

you think he’s pouting in his room

sike! he’s inching behind you on the floor sneaking behind plants and shoes to sneak into your purse

watches sneakily from your purse

starts screaming when your date tries to take your hand

“HEY MISTER THAT’S MY MOM!”

blows his cover so quickly

when you put him on the table he starts running around

“ooo what’s this”

lots of pointing

“HEY MISTER WHO ARE YOU”

“indoor voice min”

“SORry-” *loud whisper *hEy miStEr WhO ArE yoU?”

you: *facepalm*

you’re not even surprised that he showed up

tapping things, sticking his face against the water glasses to make faces

tries to pull the flowers out of the table centerpiece

want’s to pull all the napkins out of the dispenser

your hands are very busy trying to keep him at bay

talks loudly to your date

yells ‘HI!’ at everyone who walks past your table

asks the waitress for a coloring page and crayons if they have it

knows he’s going to get in trouble and a time out when he gets home

smiles at everyone anyways and does his best to annoy your date

summersaults around the table

Hyungwon:

sulks when he learns you have a date

hides from you when you try to find him to say goodbye

watches tv sullenly while you’re gone, won’t acknowledge you when you come back

tries to amuse himself by inch worming across the table

doesn’t want to walk, wants to be carried

but can’t be carried because you aren’t there

doesn’t leave the bed and bedside table unless super hungry

bc he’s scared of walking on the floor by himself without his protector there

reads mostly

gives you the silent treatment for a few days for ditching him

the poems he writes you will be dark for a little bit, tales of despair and being left behind, of tragedy and loneliness

wears all black and mourns like you just had a funeral not a date

you roll your eyes at your overdramatic baby and put him in your pocket

he buries himself deep down and sulks more

despite all his sulking, it doesn’t stop him from wanting morning cuddles

Jooheon:

pouty baby when he realizes he can’t come

tries to be tough and act like it doesn’t matter to him

but it does

lower lips trembles a bit

might not cling to you but will stare at your date wide-eyed when they come to pick you up

throws a little temper tantrum

whines about being left behind

another one you’ll need a babysitter for

gives the babysitter hell

pushes over as much as he can reach

has to be put in his special time out spot - it’s a birdcage with doll furniture to sit on - the one place in the house he’s allowed to throw things around and tip furniture when he’s mad

normally you don’t lock him in - you just close the door and let him come out when he’s cooled off and cleaned up his mess - but the babysitter does

you have to let him out when you come home

he is outraged, has been yelling for hours

cries as soon as you hold him

put on his favorite music and give him cuddles

tell him you missed him too

I.M:

another sabotager

good at this - because he’s a quiet pocket

observes when you’re not looking then makes his strike

knocks over the candles on the table

puts too much salt on your date's food

because he’s s n e a k y like that

once you catch him he will be salty

because you ruined his fun

whines when you put him in your pocket

“but mooooommmmmmmm”

mocks whatever your date says under his breath from your pocket

“’I’ve recently gotten a promotion and with that comes some paid leave...’ WELL WHOOP DE DOO JIM WHOOP DE DOO. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THAT PAID LEAVE? LEAVE MY MOM ALONE.”

gets a tap to the top of the head for that

“oW” “Changkyun. Shush.”

mocks you too

“Changkyun shush she says... shush shush shush”

cross his arms over his chest and is angry

will do everything he can to keep your attention on him and not on your date

happy when you finally go home
