The Academy of the Powered is your chance to a new life. At least... you hope so.

It seems to be going well the first weeks. You're learning more about your Power, getting to know the Academy, even making some friends! It seems that life is mostly getting better.

Then it all comes crashing down. You hear rumors, stronger and stronger until it seems the world is screaming. People are disappearing all over the city, no distinguishing between children, working adults, retired or students.

One thing connects them; they're all Powered.

Play as male or female and define your orientation only in terms of gender; however it's romantic, sexual or both is completely up to you

Befriend and/or romance 9 unique characters, each with their own hopes and hardships

A relationship system built on several different variables such as affection (separated into platonic and romantic), trust and respect

Grapple with your own Power and the Penalty that comes with it, all while navigating your school years. At least you're not alone?

Investigate the strange disappearances around town with your ragtag crew. Beware of the shadows, and keep an eye out behind you...

Daniel Avary | 17 | M [ONLY ROMANCEABLE BY FEMALE MC]

If you felt a gust of wind without seeing anyone, that was probably Daniel. A rowdy student with a flirty exterior, he's all too skilled at running from his problems.

Power: enhanced speed | Penalty: unforgettable

Ilide Encast | 17 | F [ONLY ROMANCEABLE BY MALE MC]

Who is she? Not many students can answer that question, considering none of them remember meeting her. You do, though.

Indigo Lotus | 17 | Gender selectable M/F

Look above you. Not much a fan of walking, Indigo prefers to fly over the grounds when possible. They might come down a bit, just for you...

Simon Northe | 18 | M

Most people at the Academy avoid Simon for his ability to sense emotions. It is not many who wish to divulge all their hopes and fears to another student. Few know how he struggles with his own feelings.

Power: empathy | Penalty: self-apathy

Jake Vonne | 18 | M [ONLY ROMANCEABLE BY FEMALE MC]

Jacob, or as he prefers to be called, Jake, doesn't care much for secrets, but rather wears his feelings openly; sadly resulting in him often getting hurt. He has trouble focusing, which lessens the effective strength of his power.

Rosie Vonne | 18 | F [ONLY ROMANCEABLE BY MALE MC]

Roselyn, as you might call her if you wish to earn yourself a vicious glare, is as much alike her brother as completely opposite. They could be described as 'the sunshine and the grump' considering her surly demeanor. She can often be found absentmindedly making a glass of water swirl into different shapes, but will easily drop her concentration and consequently, the liquid.

Power: water manipulation | Penalty: undetermined

Nathan Walker | 19 | M

Nathan's full name is Nathaniel, but few actually call him that. He is unusually polite for a teenager, making other students wonder what's really up with him. Apparently, you are the only one who searches for him.

Power: teleportation | Penalty: psychic gps-signal

Charlie West | 18 | F

If you wanted to make a friend at the Academy, you wouldn't start with Charlie. If you still insisted on approaching her, you would be wise to not address her as Charlotte, and most would argue you were best off not approaching her at all. Is there warmth under her cold mask?

Power: invulnerability | Penalty: extremely low pain tolerance

Kateline Yenif | 19 | F

Or Kate, as some call her. With a sometimes creepy ability to predict when big things are about to happen in someone's life, many avoid her. If you were to venture closer, you would meet a warm heart with a tortured mind.

Gwen is regarded as a student prodigy, considering her book smarts and extraordinary Power. If you were to believe the rumors, she's also kind of crazy, but you should know not to trust those too much. What hides beneath the shiny image?

Ceja Darje | 19 | F

Ceja is pretty— that's most everyone's first impression. Try as you might, you cannot forget where she is in the room. Until she's suddenly gone. What is the secret to her draw? There must be greater depths to her.

Power: invisibility | Penalty: visibility

Zachary Elrond | 17 | M

Zac is well known around the Academy for both ruining and mending relationships by accident, or purpose. Who knows? Very few don't know about his Power, but his Penalty is less known. He tends to keep away from most people, wary of fake friends and, honestly, messing things up himself. Will you acquire his trust?

Felix Katoc | 19 | M

Felix has the social skills many can only dream of. Despite this, he is commonly seen chilling alone or solely in small groups, leading people to wonder if he simply doesn't like people. Tread carefully with someone who knows exactly what to say.
